—SILENCE.
She could heard the sound of other Dragon Mooses' ahead of her, gaining distance she caught up to both Ay'u and Fawn. "Do you see them?"
Ay'u shook his head, looking around before he pointed to a group of kids out in the distance. "Lo'ak!" She said, moving in between the two before they headed out closer.
"(Y/N) they are in the massacre, we need to be careful." Fawn whispered, all three moving off their rides before they took off towards them, bows and arrows on their backs as they got closer to see what happened.
"What happened?" She asked Kiri who was closer to them as they arrived.
"Lo'ak went to warn Caraxas about what happened, Caraxas was in chains and now he is freaking out because he can't get them off. Tsireya is with him, there is another boy too." Kiri quickly explained before they all moved closer to Lo'ak and Caraxas.
Lo'ak was ducking and dodging Caraxas tail as he swung the chains around in an attempt to get them off hiself. "Brother! Calm down!" Lo'ak said loudly, trying to get the other's attention.
"Lo'ak! You shouldn't be out here!" Ay'u said as he got closer, immediately pushing Lo'ak down and Caraxas shot a breath of fire towards a creature that was running past them. Watching as it caught on fire, the trees around them all started to burn as the smoke from the attack and Caraxas filled the air.
"Here." Ay'u was smart, having brought the Sullys' their suits so they could breathe the air easier before they all turned to Caraxas who seemed to be calming down as he finally noticed everyone.
"How did you break it last time?" (Y/N) said, now moving closer to Lo'ak as she stared at the chain.
"A rock, and Caraxas fire." Lo'ak said. "There isn't any rocks big enough for that." He looked around once more, mentally cursing that the place they were at was nothing but ash and fire, he wondered how people could even live here, but, his eye caught a glimpse of a rock a few meters out and let out an inaudible noise. "There!"
Everyone had turned, looking off in the direction that Lo'ak was pointing and squinted their eyes with their hands covering their eyes to sheild from the heat of the flames. "I'll go get it. Stay here." Fawn said, glancing back and forth to make sure no one was following them before he moved over.
Every one of them turned back to Caraxas, not bothering to look at Fawn as they believed he was fine.
Despite the chaos, they all lightly smile as Caraxas spun around to catch his tail. "You have a good friend." Ay'u said moving closer to Lo'ak. "He is a good one." Lo'ak replied back. The two sharing a moment together for the first time.
Tuk stayed close to Kiri and (Y/N), the smoke getting worse and worse as another string of fire fell over to the east of them. "Who could be doing that?"
(Y/N) shrugged with her hands placed on the dragons wing before her eyes caught a glimpse every time Caraxas fluttered his wings. Out in the distance what seemed to be a machine, was running straight for Fawn and he wasn't even able to see it due to the ash and flames.
She was surprised that the fire hadn't even hit them yet, it was like something was keeping it away from hitting them and she was find with that, but she wasn't find with how close they were gaining ground. "Fawn—Fawn! Fawn!" She said loudly, pushing past the wing and immediately jumping down, taking off towards Fawn who was struggling to get that damn rock up.
"I almost got it, (Y/N)." Fawn yelled back, placing his back against the rock to roll it over a smaller rock that was restricting any movement. "Stay back!" (Y/N) yelled at the others, she knew they would try to follow her. With her head facing down to run across the path, she had at least 30 seconds to get Fawn out of the way and back towards them; but the machine was running faster and faster, and she didn't know who would make it in time.
"Move Fawn! Move!" She said once more, luckily he heard and immediately turned his head to see that he had only a split second to make a decision, but he was paralyzed and immediately felt a blow to his stomach just as (Y/N) arrived.
The AMP suit gripped a now unconscious Fawn and an angry (Y/N) up by their queues just in time for Lyle and Quaritch to fly down, both with a pissed off look. Dangling in front of them like rag dolls being thrown around, Quaritch had a single look of amusement when the girl hissed and kicked at him, which caused him to land a hard punch to her stomach. "Treading on dangerous waters. You have ten seconds to tell me where Jake is at."
"10.." She started counting herself not giving him up. "9..8..7..6..5"
Quaritch had enough and just lifted his gun. Taking out one problem would be easier than keeping them around. Placing his finger on the trigger, he pulled it before turning to Lyle. "Set them up, I have a feeling Jake will be here."

Ay'u could see them in the distance, his widen as he watched both of his siblings get beaten like some animals before he turned his head. "Call your dad." He said, with a weary tone to his voice. "Please, just do it." His eyes couldn't look back as he heard the gun shot, he couldn't see it. He wouldn't. Not now.
Lo'ak waisted no time to call Jake.
"Dad this is Lo'ak!"
Jake would probably need to go back to parenting school because this was at least the tenth time he was unaware of where his kids were at. When he heard Lo'aks voice come through the coms device, he prayed he was somewhere in the village.
"There was a dragon attacked, we went to help. The sky people are a few clicks in front of us."
"Who's we? Where are you?"
"We are at some field, it's on fire. It's all of us!"
Jake hesitated for just a quick second when he heard it was all of them, immediately running up to Äoa and Sänume quarters who seemed to have a mutual understanding now. "The kids are under attack, they tried to help a dragon. It's your kids too."
Äoa and Sänume immediately stood up and pointed to Vamï who was near the two, telling stories and sounded the alarm right away. "Where."
Jake threw out only a few sentences he knew to help explain where they were at. "Some fire field."
Sänume nodded and pushed everyone out, grabbing her spears dipped in toxins and poison, she tossed Äoa his own spear as well before the two headed out, Jake immediately following behind on a mongoose as they headed as quickly as they could to wherever this fire place was.
•••
If it wasn't such an important time, Jake would've taken the time to admire how such a giant field could catch on fire and it wasn't spreading at all.
Up ahead, Tuk, Kiri, Lo'ak and Ay'u met the hunters and pointed to where they were at. Caraxas was let go and freed, breaking the chain and stayed right behind the hunters to protect them from a back flank, right now no one cared the outcast was so close to them.
Äoa halted everyone, he couldn't see what was happening or where they were at, but he could see faint outlines that somehow manages to get to the top of the Volcano, and he could see two bodies on their knees while others stood behind them.
Jake lifted his gun up to look through the scope, he pointed it first at Quaritch who had a gun placed on the back of Fawns head who was hunched over, leaning against (Y/N)s shoulder. (Y/N) was next to him and he could tell she was screaming and crying at the same time, her hands tied behind her back as she looked at Fawn with her head rapidly shaking.
"Jake. I told you once, come on out and this wouldn't have happened. Now you caused me to shook this girl's brother."
He could hear her screams from the come, how loud and pained they were.
"My deal is this. I'll give you them for you."
Äoa gripped at Jakes arm for the other to tell him what was going on. "What is happening."
Jake placed the gun down, looking over at him and then Sänume. "He shot your son and he's threatening to kill (Y/N)." The words made his mouth dry, it was something he never thought he would have to say to a parent but here he was, speaking such words he remembered being told a year go.
Äoa wasted no time to flare his nostrils before turning back. "Go. Go then, you caused this." His words came out like venom so fast, it almost caught the other off guard but he understood nonetheless. When he took a step forward, the ground below him started to shake and rumble.
The volcano started to shake, but the first wave of attack started when Drogon shot fire down and then vanished into the smoke clouds.
The second wave was when Kamish suddenly emerged from the lava and blew the most dangerous breath of fire known to be seen at everyone surrounding the rim of his volcano. He was covered in lava, dripping down his body as he placed on hand on the side and pushed himself up, the other doing the same before he was officially out of the volcano and into the sky.
"Look out!" One of the men had said, taking cover hut was too late as he got hit by a drop of lava burning him instantly.
(Y/N) widen her eyes, she was glad she had been untying the knots from her restraints and grabbed Fawns arm, laying majority of his body on her side and booked it down the side towards the trees to be hidden.
"(Y/N).. do you forgive me now?" Fawn asked as the two lightly struggled to get near protection.
"I promise you will be okay." She said, laying him down against a rock only to see how severe the wound was. Luckily Ay'u had seen her take off with Fawn and followed her down below, the hunters immediately attacking all of the sky people against the rocks and ground.
"(Y/N)!" Ay'u yelled out as he made his way into the forest. "Here!" She replied back, standing up to wave her arms as tears started to fall down.
She couldn't sit here and lose her brother, they fought for months and this wasn't how she was going to lose him. "Stay awake, Fawn. Stay awake." She said, her hands placed against the wound to apply pressure as Ay'u tried to find someone that was even close to them for help.
It was useless, everyone was fighting and unaware.
"(Y/N), I'm sorry. I'm sorry, please forgive me." Fawn begged as he placed a hand on her forearm, gripping at it with a squeeze as he started to choke on the blood pouring from his mouth.
"Sit him up, he's choking". Ay'u said, lightly leaning him up as the two stared at Fawn. (Y/N) shook her head and thought, if she said she forgave him he would stay alive.
"I forgive you. I forgive you, Fawn. I'm sorry—so sorry, please don't do this. You have to stay awake." Every word was getting louder as she watched Fawn start to close his eyes. Shaking her head, she wrapped her arms around the others head before the cries got louder when she felt the breathing slow down and eventually stop,
"Wake up, Fawn! Please, please wake up!" She said. Ay'u could only watch in horror as the grip from his hand weakened and released, the blood from his face was draining and he felt himself get sick.
