It was two days later that Ay'u and (Y/N) got more and more worried about Fawn not returning home. The two paced, their hands on their heads as they awaited for the hunting party to return home with any news. "I am sure he is fine." Lo'ak said to the two, sitting down on the floor as his eyes were facing the entrance of their village. "You don't know that." Her eyes scanned over to the boy and then to Spider, who was quiet the whole time.

She wasn't trusting of the other at all, ever since he came its been troubles and she was already in a killing mood. She kept him out of the public eyes, not even letting Kiri or Tuk see him.

(Y/N) was on edge since that night, avoiding everyone and anyone; only just now coming out an hour ago when they told her Fawn was missing. "Do you think.." Lo'aks voices trailed off when he thought back to those Avatars. (Y/N) immediately dismissed the thought. "No, Fawn is smarter than that and knows how to take care of himself." She was dead set on the other returning home, no bruises or any troubles.

The horns sounded throughout the village as the three rushed down to meet the hunters, all with a displeased look. "I'm sorry, princess. No one could find him." She let out a small hiss before thanking and dismissing them.

"How do you just not find a giant fucking dragon carrying someone." She hissed, moving to stare at Ay'u, Spider and Lo'ak. "I'm going to go find him."

Lo'ak moved to stop her, putting his hands out to calm her down. "Just wait, (Y/N). You can't go alone, does this normally happen?" Lo'ak surprised himself that he was willing to go out and find Fawn when he has been nothing but horrible to him since he arrived, but (Y/N) was already working off of her emotions and refused to let her go alone. "No, a bond lasts no more than a few hours. Even if it took longer, they would've been able to see them."

Ay'u already was holding their hunting gear as he called over the Dragon Mooses'. "As much as Fawn makes me mad, he is still my brother and I am coming with." The two nodded to one another before Lo'ak chimed in. "Spider and I are going too." He gave the girl a pleading look, wanting to come with before she agreed. "Fine, lets go before it gets dark."

โ€”

"Are we there yet?" Lo'ak whined, regretting coming along with the two as they ventured out miles from the village. "Shut up, Lo'akโ€”" (Y/N) said with a small chuckle before she immediately gasped.

"Fire." Ay'u said as he looked off into the distance of flames coming from all around. "Go, go, go!" (Y/N) yelled out as the two immediately took off in the direction of the fire. Ay'u with Spider and (Y/N) with Lo'ak. "Do you think it's him?" Ay'u yelled as they maneuvered their way around the trees that had fallen.

She was silent.

As they finally arrived and moved off of their mooses' they covered their ears as a loud screeching was heard from their left. "God what is that-!" Lo'ak said as (Y/N) moved to uncover her own ears and cover Lo'aks for a second layer of protection. "That sounds like Vhagar." She said, worry moving throughout her whole body as she turned to Ay'u.

"Why would he be here?" Ay'u asked before passing the two their weapons. "I don't know, but come on." She lead the way, moving towards the sound as it continued to let out a giant screech every two minutes before it suddenly went quiet.

As the four crawled on the floor to stay undetected, (Y/N) was the first to pop her head up and look through the branches and leaves at a horrifying sight in front of her. There, in the distance, was Vhagar surrounded by a bunch of humans who had impaled him with many long and sharp spears.

She cried out, her mouth covered by Ay'u to keep her quiet. They watched as the humans cut off Vhagars scales, tear his claws and cut off his wings as best as they could. Drogon, who managed to get away, let out a small chirp behind them in pain.

"Oh, Drogon.." Ay'u whispered as he scooped the small baby in his arms, his other one still holding his sister as she watched her spirit brother die in front of her. "We have to keep going.." Ay'u whispered, looking at the other two boys for help as they began to get up and move. "Drogon, go back to the village. Stay low." Ay'u spoke, watching as Drogon looked back to Vhagar; letting out a pained noise before disappearing back home.

"We have to go, (Y/N). Fawn is still missing." Ay'u said as he lightly leaned her back to stare at her teary eyes. He was troubled, he knew she wanted to go see him, but if the attacks were closer to them then that means Fawn might be hurt. "Please, we have to go."

All she could do was stare at the other before she took a deep breath, eyes narrowed as she turned and left with a heavy heart.

โ€”

For the next ten minutes they four continued on walking slowly, not wanting to alert anyone that they were there. "(Y/N)!" Spider whispered. "Is that him?"

Pushing past him, Ay'u and (Y/N) moved closer to where he was at and saw Fawn laying on his back, his face as a bit bloody, but he looked fine. "Fawn-!" Ay'u whispered out loudly. "Fawn."

As the boy turned his head, his eyes widen as he saw four sets of eyes staring at him before he took off into the direction of them, hiding behind the leaves. "Oh my godโ€”I thought I was going to die." He said breathing heavily.

Placing his hands on his siblings cheeks in a small thank you, he brought (Y/N) close as he witnessed what happened. "What happened." She said against his shoulder.

"The humans are everywhere, I don't know how they found us, but I overheard them talking. I'll explain more when I get back, but we got to move quickly." As they all ushered out, they were immediately met with multiple guns in their face.

"Easy now, we don't want any trouble." The voice made Lo'ak almost puke and Spider hide immediately. "You have something that belongs to us."

Quaritch moved out from behind the group, having been tracking Spider from the location device on his oxygen mask. "A human boy."

(Y/N) was in front of the group now as she stared up at Quaritch, he wouldn't admit she was freaking him out with her red eyes. "And what if I don't." She snapped back, annoyed her route was blocked off.

"But you do, I have been tracking him and it says he is.. right.." His eyes scanned behind her before he met Spiders gaze, a smirk forming on his lips. "There."

Lyle moved over into the direction Quaritch was staring at, pushing the remaining of them out before gripping the back of Spiders necks. "And just where have you been?" He asked with a sadistic chuckle, he motioned with his hands for his men to hold onto the kids before his met Lo'aks.

"Didn't Wainfleet kill you? Oh.. wrong brother." He said to the boy who hissed back with such hostility. "That means your dad is here, I can finish what I started."

Fawn stayed close to Ay'u, both of their eyes meeting (Y/N)s who only nodded. "Jake, right?" Ay'u spoke first. Lo'ak looked at him with confusion. "Let Lo'ak go and will take you to him, he left his kids under our protection." Fawn added on to the others sentence.

"I don't believe you." Quaritch had moved, placing his fingers on his neck piece to alert Ardmore about who they have. "Jake is vulnerable right now, I could help you kill him." (Y/N) finally spoke, her lie rolling off of her tongue so easily that even the four boys tied up next to her believed it. "I know where he is hiding, let them go and I'll take you. It's a days journey away though."

Quaritch looked over at the girl before back to Lyle who gave him a look as if he was saying 'test it'. So he nodded, falling for the others lie. "Alright, but Spider stays with me."

"I don't care about him." That was the truth.

"Let my brothers and Lo'ak leave and I'll take you to him." As the boys were let go, she didn't bother to glance at them as she needed them to get as far away as possible. "Alright, lets go."

"Are you going to untie me." She said with an attitude, causing the girl behind her to grip tighter at her cuffs. "Take that as a no."

โ€”

Lo'ak, Fawn and Ay'u all returned home, immediately calling a meeting for their people. "The sky people have returned." Fawn started off, his parents moving behind them as they finally felt relieved their son had returned home. "They have (Y/N) and they murdered her spirit brother."

The clan gasped before they let out a war cry, immediately grabbing their spears before Ay'u moved up as well. "They are hunting Jake Sully, but he is one of us; that means we must protect him and his family." Jake heard it all from his home, immediately stepping out with Kiri and Tuk who were eating. "There are Na'vis who are poisoned by the sky peoples' information, we mustn't turn our backs against this. They are on our lands, bleeding the soil they walk on with death." Fawn raised his spear behind him, making the crowd go even louder.

Jake finally appeared amongst the crowd as everyone was too in tuned to listen. "We will go and kill them now." Vamรฏ said from down below, slamming his fist against his chest. "Carve our names onto their bodies." His people he traveled with also let out a loud cheer.

"You don't understand how the sky people act, they will murder anyone who gets in their way." Jake finally said after a few minutes of just listening. "You need to warn your dragons if they are anywhere close to the ground, they will be hunted and killed." Jake placed a hand on his chest as he turned to look at everyone.

"My son and mate were killed by them, trust me when I say this; you need to tell your dragons to leave and to stand down for now." Jake must've missed the part where they said (Y/N) was with them.

"My sister is risking her life to draw them away from here and you, and you want us to do nothing?" Fawn said with outrage. ร„oa moved up to where Fawn was, his hand on his shoulder as he looked to both Jake and Fawn. "Are you certain of this?"

Fawn nodded. "She said she is taking them away, a days journey." ร„oa glanced once more at Jake before he turned to his people. "Go tell your brothers and sisters to leave, go far away." The clan nodded and immediately took off.

Lo'ak found his father amongst the crowd with a heavy expression. "Dad, its them. They have her, they are back."

Jake sucked in a harsh breath, placing his hands on his sons head to pull him into a hug; thanking Eywa he returned. "Are you okay?" He asked and received a nod.

"Yes, but Dad we have to figure out how to get her back. She is all alone with Spider." Jake stared him down before he nodded. He needed to act quick and fast.

"Tell Fawn and Ay'u to meet me at my home, I have an idea."
