Leave the past where it belongs

Your POV:

Tonight is the night I'll be staying in this country, this dark and cruel place where all my dark past started and ended. And it'll be the last night, tomorrow morning I'll be going to my ex-in-laws, they invited me, Kento and Ryuu along with my twins for breakfast as the day after tomorrow morning we'll be leaving for Japan, finally!! I'll be free from this exhausted and frustrating feeling.

"Yua? Can I come in?" It was Kento. I said come in. I was in my room packing my things as I'll be busy the whole day.

He pushes open the door and leans on the door frame. "Hime!!! Pizza is here." I nod and walk out from the room leaving my packings half with Kento.

I saw Ryuu playing with the twins. Kento and I take our seats and we all started to eat our shares. We were having fun because Ryuu is here tonight. Both Ryuu and Kento wanted to eat dinner at my hotel, they said it'll be a waste if we didn't do our usual fun night dinner together before leaving Korea. Little did I know it'll be the last time we'll be actually having this fun dinner night together.

After dinner, both men left the hotel to theirs. I told them to be ready at 7 am, I don't want to be late and they said they'll be there on time. After that, I saw my twins already asleep on the couch, so I put them on the bed and I finished my packing. I felt really tired so I went to bed and was fast asleep.

After that day I never contacted taehyung, I heard he tried to contact me but Kento blocked him from every possible way he could find to contact me. Even in the office, Kento will tell Ryuu to stay by my side as my personal bodyguards. Thank goodness Ryuu I good at disguising himself, nobody from Japan knows him recognized him.

In the last meeting, Taehyung tried every possible way to talk with me personally, all alone but I didn't let him nor did Ryuu.

I don't want to see him. Not after that weird dream. Not after what he did and he said. I heard Kento already warned him twice but now Kento is being overprotective over me after hearing all the doings of taehyung. He was in the vague of punching taehyung but he didn't become he said just because taehyung is the father of my twins he's spearing him.

I'm glad to have a brother like Kento by my side. And a best friend like Ryuu by my side. I hope we'll stay like this forever. I have lost enough, I don't want to lose anymore.

Next morning~~~

We went to my ex-in-laws and surprisingly Ryuu and Kento go very close to them. Especially Ryuu. He really is the type of guy everyone wants and loves. I'm glad they liked him. Kento also got close to them, he made fun of me for taking this smooth advantage.

My twins were playing with EonJin and Jeong Gyu, they were so close by now. I'm worried they'll cry when we'll be leaving for Japan. I don't want to hurt them but I can't stay here any longer, besides they can still contact each other through social media.

"Yua-chan?"

I look at Ryuu who was smiling at me suddenly. I look at him confused. "Nanda?" He and Kento both smiled again.

"You looked really pretty 9 years ago on your wedding gown." Ryuu said.

I didn't realize that they were holding my wedding albums in their hands even some photographs. "I didn't know you looked so young and way pretty back in 9 years ago." Kento said as he keeps going through the photos. I blushed even more.

But I still snapped at him. "What do you mean I looked pretty and young before. You idiot I'm still pretty and young. You just don't have a good eye." I pout angrily.

They all laughed together. "After seeing you smile and seeing my great-grandchildren I can finally close those eyes in peace for forever." Grandfather said. "Grandfather please...please don't say that."

He smiles but suddenly he looks sad. He looks down on his lap and said, "if only that brat knew who to cherish and how to cherish them, then I would have seen you smile for 9 years and watch my great-grandchildren grow up by those 7 years. If only he understood it 9 years ago. He makes me feel guilty for him."

I stand up and walk towards him. I seat next to him on the couch and place my hands on his hand gently.

"You don't have to feel guilty for him. You don't have to take the blames. I should be saying sorry because I cut my ties with him but not with you, I should have at least said goodbye to you before leaving, I should have told you about my babies and about my whereabouts but my stupid brain didn't work at that point. So I'm really sorry, I'm genuinely sorry. Please forgive acting like a stupid girl."

My mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law started to sob and my father-in-law was staring at me blankly as if he's still proceeding with what is happening right now. Grandfather looks at me suddenly he smiles and laughs out loud.

"Ah!! This is why I was so happy with my son's decisions when he said he wanted you as our daughter-in-law. Ah!! You just deserve to be my own daughter. I would have gladly risked my life for you." He pats my head gently and made my heart feel heavy in happiness.

After that, we had breakfast and chatted for a long time. Maybe this is going to be the last time in Korea I'll be spending time with them. Kento specially invited them to come to Japan and visit us. They all agreed, after that, we bid our final goodbyes and left to go back to our hotels. But on the way we stopped to do some shopping for our family and twins, Ryuu and Kento needed a suit for tonight's party.

After all the shopping is done it was already lunchtime. So we went to eat lunch at an expensive five-star restaurant. The twins looked tired after all those journeys so they fell asleep. After coming back to the hotel I put them on the bed.

My stylist said she'll come to my room at 5 pm in the evening. The party is at 8 pm night so that's a perfect time. Before that, I'll just take a nap.

7. 30 pm, night~~

The twins are with EonJin and Jeong Gyu in my hotel room. I asked them for a favor to take care of my babies as both Ryuu and Kento are also invited there. They were happier to do me this favor. I was already ready, my makeup, hairstyle, gown is all ready and perfect.

So I was already in the car with my manager, Kento next to me, and Ryuu in front of the passenger seat, next to Mr. Watanabe.

They all said I look pretty apart from Kento that idiot. But tonight he also looks like an idiot. I told him to buy something fancier but he just won't listen to me. He says he gave his heart to his niece's and he doesn't want to attract anyone else.

Kento tonight:

(Shut up you idiot Yua my man looks handsome whatever he wears....hump)

I just want him to find someone for himself too. But at the same time, I don't want to because he and Murakami is the perfect babysitter for my twins.

I snapped back from my thoughts when my side of the door opened and Kento called my name. "Hime!! Stop daydreaming and come out." I look at him and realized that we are already at the venue.

I grab his hands and step out of the car slowly. As soon as I step out I couldn't keep my eyes open. All the flashlights blocked my vision. But slowly I tried to maintain it and Kento helped me to go inside the hall.

Once we reach we were greeted by my boss and other models, company employees, and my company people. Kento was also introduced by some other Korean big shots even though he didn't need them. Ryuu and Mr.Watanabe were always by my side.

After an hour all the attention was sought to the stage. It was Mr. Sakaguchi again he said few words about our success and all. And then he said that our client would like to say something and it was none other than Kim Taehyung.

He looks beautiful, extremely handsome. As always he's the center of this attention. Who am I? Who are those models? They are nothing compared to him. He took the spotlight again as always.

Taehyung tonight:

I couldn't stop staring. He was just giving his speech and was smiling. Behind him I see someone familiar, it was Hoseok. Hoseok is his business advisor but also his very close friend. I know if it's Taehyung's party all his other six Friends are going to attend too.

When he was about to end his speech I felt like our eyes met. Or was I mistaken? But I did felt like that.

He was done giving his small speech and came down from the stage. I saw him walking towards his friends, I somehow felt relaxed that he didn't come towards me.

Suddenly the MC seeks our attention this time saying there is a small masquerade ball, they prepared for all of us but the condition is we all have to wear a masquerade mask before joining this couple dance. I wasn't that interested but Ryuu said he's going to join and he'll be waiting for me.

From afar I saw Kento joining too. This made me actually interested because maybe he found someone he's interested in and I have to know who's this lucky girl.

I picked one mask and wore it. I waited for Ryuu but I couldn't see him anywhere near. Maybe he found his partner. So I wandered around saw other couples dancing. I was actually enjoying seeing them.

Suddenly a tall man appeared in front of me reaching his hands toward me. As it was dim dark I couldn't say who it was.

"May I have this dance with you lady?" The man said. I flinched hearing his voice. I looked up at him, into his eyes. Yes, it's him. It's Taehyung.

I was about to reject him but he didn't let me. "You wore that mask it means you are interested in this dance. However, your partner is busy with their partner. So I guess I can have this first dance with you."

I parted my lips to say something but couldn't after seeing my surroundings. So I sighed and put my hands on to his, he gladly accepted it.

He pulls my hand close to his lips as he places a gentle kiss on it. Then he pulls me to the ball stage. I follow him.

He puts one hand around the back of my waist and another intertwining with my hands. I put my other free hand on his shoulder.

The music was on and it was a piece of beautiful music. We started to dance step by step. We both moved our legs and our eyes were locked with each other staring.

He smiles at me. As we move slowly. I smiled back at him but we never uttered a word. I can smell his beautiful cologne. He has got a better taste.

Like this we danced, he would swing me and make my back touch his chest as he'll take this advantage to place a gentle kiss on my neck shoulder. I'll touch his beautiful smooth hair, but all this time he never looked anywhere but at me. His eyes were always on me.

For some reason I didn't felt weird, nor did I wanted to push him. It felt like I yearned for him tonight, if not tonight then there'll be no tomorrow.

Time passed and our long dance came to an end. I didn't realize that I was only dancing with him. He didn't say a word other than saying, thank you for this dance. It felt weird but also relieved.

I wanted to breathe some fresh air so I first went to the drinks section to get a drink. The waiter was preparing my drink.

Once it was done I thanked him as I push the money to him and grab my glass. I sip on my last drink and then headed to the balcony.

As soon as I walk there the cold wind touched my skin making me shiver. But I still felt good. I put the drink on the balcony rock railings and lean on to watch the night sky and the moon.

"Enjoying the moon all by yourself?" I heard a male voice. I know who it was. "You can join if you want." I said.

Ryuu came next to me and didn't say anything instead silently watched the moon with me. By then I was done drinking my drink. This was my 8th drink and I feel kind of dizzy and tipsy.

"How are you feeling now?" He asked.

I smiled and nod. "Much better." He smiles and nods too.

We went silent. Suddenly after a few moments, Ryuu touched my hands. I look at him. He had a weird expression, an expression I never saw him having.

"Ryuu?"

"Will you...Will you be shocked if I said that I've been in love with you since the moment I saw you?"

Of course, I will be, in fact, I am. But I thought he was joking so I laughed. "Don't joke around idiot." Be he wasn't. He looks serious.

"You will leave me like him Ryuu. And it's something serious and I Don't want this thing anymore."

"But I'm serious. I'm not a bastard like him Yua-chan. I will give you everything you need. I love you, even more than you love him."

I smile and then I laughed. I shake my head in Disagreement. I pat his shoulder and was about to leave the balcony but he grabs my arm and wrapped his hands around my waist as he pulls me towards him and smacks his lips onto mine.

I was unable to do anything. Idk what I'm feeling, I feel tired and dizzy. What is wrong with him? I want to push him but my hands are grabbed by him so tightly that it hurts.

Why am I so weak? But his kiss....he seems so sincere to me. What should I do? Should I push him? Or should I kiss him back too?

What should I do to him?
