They both wanted something small. Even if they wanted a big wedding, who would come? They didn't know a lot of people. Matt and Devon settled for a court wedding and drinks after.

Devon waits for Issac and Matt to come, she wore a white dress, short and a small veil. River was on the phone with Issac, who swears that they are on their way. Karen and Foggy walked in together. Foggy smiles to see Devon all dressed up and ready.

Her finger hovered over Alexei's contact. Devon chokes onto some tears as he never called her. He hasn't called or even said goodbye since the day he and Melina visited her at the hospital. He, they, never called her.

Devon was going to call Yelena but she also never called or answered her calls. Since nearly killing Clint Barton, they never exchanged words. They work together but they never saw each other. And Devon truly misses her. Her little sister.

"Wow!" Foggy steps behind her, making her pat down her tears. "Imma say this, but if Matt doesn't walk through these doors right now, i would marry you." Devon chuckles at Foggy.

"Marcy would kill you."

"I will die a happy man." He hugged her. Devon relaxed in his arms. His hugs. They are the best. She felt so warm and loved. "You look beautiful."

"Thank you Foggy." She sees Karen and River talking. Karen nods as River gently moves side to side speaking. Devon puts her phone away.

"No answer huh?" He takes the hint. Matt would talk to Foggy about how much pain Devon was in when Alexei, Yelena would not answer her. Then with River leaving, Natasha's death constantly being shoved in Devons face, he didn't know what to do when Devon breaks. And she's hanging by a thread. If one more bad thing happens, thats it, its over. "Hey." He makes Devon look at him. Her glossy eyes look at him. "Its on them. Its supposed to be your happiest day, you getting married for god sakes!" She gently shakes her. "Married!"

"I never thought, today would happen." She lets go. Honestly if you told her years ago, when she was in the red room, she would've laughed in your face. Married? A kid? Yeah okay.

"You deserve this win Dev." Foggy kisses her cheek. "Sadly you're being taken from me." He jokes.

"Im always be yours Fogs." She placed her hand on his cheek. "I love you Foggy."

"Youre Matts. Im just glad you two are together." The doors opened as they saw Issac and Matt. Devon smiled as she sees her boys dressed up. Issac had his suit on, his tie all messed up, his beaten up jordans. Then theres Matt. He immediately went straight to Devon. The two stood in front of each other.

"Sorry, traffic." He pants. He wasn't lying, mostly. Devon just chucked at him. She sees his tie, fixing it. She smooths it down.

"Cant have you being messy on my special day now Mr. Murdock." She leans closer. Matt places his hands on her waist. Silk dress.

"Our, our special day." He corrects her. Just as Matt was about to kiss Devon, Karen interrupted them.

"Sorry, but do not kiss, at least not yet. Bad luck." Karen laughed a bit.

"Guys! We are up!" Issac calls everyone as they went inside the courtroom. Everyone sat down as Matt and Devon held hands, walking up to the judge.

"Matthew Murdock and Devon Hobbs correct?" He eyes them. The two held hands.

"Yes." Matt smirks.

"Glad to see you here in different circumstances Mr. Murdock." The judge laughs. "Let me get on with this, i bet you all very busy and ready to get married." Devon couldn't take her eyes off Matt. "Hello, and welcome to all of you attending this joyous and respected event of Matthew Michael Murdock and Devon Leia Hobbs." Foggy, Karen, Issac and River all smiles behind the two. "The step that each of you are about to undergo is one of the most important events in life that any two people can undertake. It is the entering into a union, a union between a man and a woman founded upon mutual respect and affection. Because of this unique relationship that you both are voluntarily partaking in, your individual lives will change, and, resulting from this change, your responsibilities will intensify significantly, but your joy will also intensify significantly if you are sincere with your pledge that you are about to make to one another today." The judge looks at the small group. "Loving friends and family i see. You all will witness something special today."

Issac stares at his parents. Devon just looks so in love and happy. Something he hasn't seen in a long time. And Matt, he looked alive, proud, and in love. Thats something that he hasn't seen since Devon got blipped. He's happy. Hes happy that they are happy. Issac is just a proud son. Happy to call them his parents.

"Alright Matt, since it is your sincere desire to become the husband of Devon Hobbs, please repeat after me, I, Matthew Murdock, take you Devon Hobbs, to be my wife. In this moment, I promise before these witnesses to love you and care for you all of our days. I accept you with your faults and your strengths, even as I offer myself with my faults and my strengths. I promise to support you when you need support and to turn to you when I need support. I choose you as the one with whom I will spend my life." Matts hands start to sweat.

"I, Matthew Murdock, take you Devon Hobbs, to be my wife. In this moment, i promise before these witnesses to love you and care for you all of our days. I accept you with your faults and your strengths, even as i offer myself with my faults and my strengths." Matts voice is shaky. Hes just so damn excited about this. Marrying the love of his life. "I promise to support you when you need support and to turn to you and when i need support. I choose you as the one with whom i will spend my life." Tears fell down his eyes. Happy tears.

"Devon, since it is your sincere desire to become the wife of Matthew, please repeat after me-" Devon couldn't wait. She took her chance.

"I, Devon Hobbs, take you Matthew Murdock, to be my husband. In this moment, I promise before these witnesses to love you and care for you all of our days. I accept you with your faults and your strengths, even as I offer myself with my faults and my strengths. I promise to support you when you need support and to turn to you when I need support. I choose you as the one with whom I will spend my life." She cries. The judge nods.

"Took the words out of my mouth." They laughed. "I see we are eager." The judge look at the group again. "Who has the rings?" Issac raises his hands. "Come on up son." Issac hops up and shoves his hand down his pants pocket.

"I told him not to put them in his pants." Matt said as he was still looking for them.

"Here!" He shows off the rings. Devon places her hand on Issacs cheek.

"Thank you." She kisses his forehead. Issac sits back down. Matt and Devon put on their rings, holding hands again.

"In as much as Devon and Matt have consented together in wedlock and have witnessed the same before this company and pledged their vows to each other, by the authority vested in me by the State of New York, I now pronounce you husband and wife." Devon and Matt smiles widen. "Matt, you may now kiss your wife." No need to tell him. Matt kisses Devon. Devon wrapped her arms around Matt, kissing him deeply. Everyone claps and whistles. Devon pulls apart and smiles at her little group. Shes happy. Words cannot describe how much.

The small group went to Josies to celebrate. As the married couple walked in, everyone congratulated them. Josie did free drinks as they tied the knot. Matt and Devon clung together, Matts hand on her thigh and Devons arm wrapped around his. Issac sat with Karen and River as Foggy stood up to make a toast.

"As well know, Matt and Devon are now finally married." Everyone claps. "When I first met Devon, she just moved below Matt, and i was wasted." Matt and Devon laughed. "Once I sobered up and went to work the next day, Matt never stopped talking about this neighbor. I just thought that this neighbor was just another person moving into Hell's kitchen. But once Matt started going on about this Devon girl and Devon being around being so kind to us and helping us with our small firm, i knew, i knew that this is the one for Matt. I never saw Matt this in love. and Devon, i thank you for being in his life because you sure have him around your finger." Devons looks at Matt and they kissed. Foggy raised his glass in the air. "To the Murdocks!" Everyone repeated back. River gets on up.

"Devons brother." He introduced himself. "I met Matt, officially as Devon's boyfriend was when our mom made dinner to meet him. And I knew this was serious because our mom NEVER cooked." Devons throat lumps up. "As her little brother, I cant have her date anyone. Brothers rules right?" River laughs. "But that night, Devon, not once, took her eyes off Matt. It was her being love struck. Matt has been there for Devon through the toughest times, and never left her side. I remember that night, at dinner, Matt said, as long as hes with Devon, thats all he wanted. That right there sold me and accepted Matt into the family. So Matt, thank you for loving her." They all drank to his toast. Devon gets up and hugs her brother. Issac's turn. He heads to the front.

"Hey, hi, Im Issac. Devon and Matts son." Issac nods. "I just want to say..." He looks at them two. So happy. Devon was about to cry. "It was a hard couple years since the blipped. I never really thought about how much my dad loved my mom. It crushed him. So today, seeing them so happy, so in love really makes me feel like maybe, one day, there will be someone out there, I will love them like my parents love each other." Issac just stares. "Im really glad that they love each other." Issac awkwardly walks away and sits back down. Josie gave them free shots.

"Not 21 yet." Devon Issac's shot away from him as they were about to take a shot. Issac rolled his eyes.

"To Mr. and Mrs. Murdock!"

"I got him." Foggy pats Matt's shoulder, drunk. "You two do whatever married people do. I got your kid tonight." Karen helps Foggy up.

"I got them both. You guys celebrate. Spent some time alone." Karen smiled at Devon. First time in forever. Issac helps Karen with Foggy. Matt takes Devon back to the loft. Once as Devon unlocks the door, Matt swiftly picks her up and carries her inside.

"Very smooth Mr. Murdock." They chuckled. Matt takes her to their room. He gently puts her down on the bed and gets on top of her. Devon looks at Matt all dreamy and in love. "We have all night." She starts to unbutton his dress shirt.

"Then I have all night long to make love to you as my wife." Devon pulls him closer, faces mushing together as they kissed.

"Dont hold back for me." She whispers softly. Matts strong hands grip on her waist, pulling her to him, feeling his hard bulge against her.

"For you, never." He kisses her again. "Mrs. Murdock."
