I have made mistakes
I continue to make them
The promises I've made
I continue to break them

Lauroe glanced behind, only to see the soon 1st year high school Bam, uncomfortably shifting his body on the seat --- eyes closed and face in distress.

Bam didn't expected having such a bad dream on their way to the school. His eyes flee open as he lifted his head against the car window. He couldn't recall anything from his dream but (y/n) telling him that he's only a tool. His heart was pounding so much that he could barely breathe at all.

Afraid. Bam is afraid that (y/n) might have regretted that she met him. He was afraid that everything he shared with (y/n) is wrong.

Bam let out a shaky breath, trying to calm himself down. Lauroe turned around from the front seat and stared at him. "You can still pull back right now, Jihyun. Don't push yourself. Tower Academy has a really different ambience than the other schools."

Bam cleared his thoughts, now feeling better than earlier. He ran his right hand through his hair which has turned into a darker shade than his usual brown hair during his younger days. He then shook his head and answered.

"No. I wanted to follow. . . (y/n)." His voice trailed, envisioning (y/n) having a smile which she rarely shows. If he were to describe it, (y/n)'s smile is like a shooting star; hard to notice but once you'll get a better view, you'll realize how beautiful it is. Besides that, he has a hundred million reasons to follow her.

Lauroe then returned and seated himself properly, wrapped with blankets. His gaze was back on the car window, staring each stalls and buildings that passes by quickly. Lauroe called Bam's attention again and muttered.

"By the way, Dad has put us in the same section. We'll still see each other at the academy."

Bam smiled. "I'm glad to hear that. I mean we seldom see and talk to each other --- "

"No. School is kind of tiring. I'll end up sleeping there." Lauroe says, cutting him off. The green-head added, "Also, don't tell anyone our real names or we're Hans."

With a confused look, Bam asked him. "Why?"

"We don't want to get ourselves in trouble. Assuming if you can make it to the top of the class, you'll get criticized like you only reached that position because you're the son of the school director, something like that." He waved his hand dismissively.

Bam nodded and with that, silence fell in the car.

"Lauroe, wake up." Bam gently squeezed the shoulders of his older brother when their driver pulled into a stop. Both of them went outside as the car zoomed away.

And of course, they quite grabbed a lot of attention. Students were staring at them with narrowed eyes, gossiping.

"Isn't that boy cute?"

"No way he's in highschool. He must have been accompanying his brother."

"That tall male beside him looks weird in those blankets."

"He forgot to bring pillows. Hahaha!"

Lauroe's eyes would like to sent daggers at them yet he decided to ignore. "I'm going ahead. See you around."

Bam blinked. It would be great if they just walked together.

Now that he was alone, he could focus on looking for (y/n). Bam eyed the surroundings, sighing after realizing that (y/n) might have went inside already. Entering the huge front gates, his lips parted --- surprised from how big the Tower Academy is. He had never entered beyond the school gates because it never piqued his interests.

"Hey kid! Stop right there!"

This caused his head turning to the direction of the voice. Much to his own surprise, it was actually a school guard. The guard was eyeing him from head to toe, seemingly not believing on what he saw. It also seems that guard didn't recognize that this is Jahad Han's son.

"Where did you got that uniform kid?" He gave Bam such wary eyes.

"This came from our best tailor." Bam explained causing the guard to scoff. He knew that everyone isn't believing him that he is a student here. He immediately pulled out his wallet, showing his ID. Well, the guard only laugh at this.

"Kiddo, go and swipe your toy cars over there and let's see if you can pass."

Students who were falling in line behind, shook their head in disappointment. Bam could hear the whispers from them again.

"That guy's cute but he's crazy."

"He might want to look for his brother inside."

Not far from him, a certain pair of 2nd-year highschool students have been observing Bam for a while.

"Hey Yuri. Think that guy could go through?" The shorter male asked , intently staring at Bam in front of them. He was kind of amazed how the boys walked himself through there and claiming that he's a student in the Tower Academy.

The woman in long ponytail, Ha Yuri, glanced at Evan Edrok, her silver-haired companion. It seems he has somehow enjoyed the scene in front of them. Well, it was actually the opposite for her. Yuri feels concerned at the young boy. The guy seems in his good mental condition but he doesn't look like one of the students in the Tower.

He's probably not lying. He might really be a student here.

"Let's just see what will happen in the end. I have faith in him." Yuri let out a smile, still staring at what she seems a 1st year highschool student (though she really thought that this guy is more of a middle schooler).

"Ah. So you're telling me you took a liking on him." And of course, that earned a scornful glare from Yuri. Truth be told, she somehow felt something odd with the boy. It makes her curious to know more about him. Not because he's cute --- a mental note to herself.

Everyone's eyes went wide when the detector flashed a green light. Ha Yuri was also surprised. She knew it. There's something special with this guy. After Bam slid his ID on the metal detector, he happily went inside, leaving the guard astonished as well as the other students. He dashed upon knowing that it would only be 5 minutes before the opening ceremony starts.

"C'mon, Evan. We must follow him. There are some things I wanted to know." Yuri then pulled the silver-haired male as they joined the students entering the gate.

Seeing Bam after bidding goodbye on him was something I could not take easily. He made his way here just to see me. If I were ignorant about his family, I might haven't known how he got enrolled in this school, despite him as a middle schooler. He's Jahad's son, of course he'll make it here.

I made sure that I was several meters away from him when he entered the gate. At all cost, I must not let myself to be discovered. I am fighting the urge to embrace and pat his head.

I didn't know what it meant. What it meant to Bam if I were to leave him. Alone. I can't just abandon my plan and choose him over. He's the son of the murderer who killed my parents --- well, not biologically. But if things were different, I might still be talking to him. I might have always been there for him.

When Bam was finally out of my sight, I quickly placed a red-rimmed glasses on my face. Yesterday, I dyed my hair into a platinum gray, for me to start a new identity in this school where nobody knows me. Jahad must not know about my presence here, or else, everything will be over.
