February 13th, 1986 Hawkins, Indiana

It's Monday morning and it's still an awful sight. I stayed up last night to finish all my math homework. I'm tired, I walk into school and the first thing I noticed was that there were love hearts all over the halls. Shit, it can't be.

"Happy—"

"It's Valentines Day?" I say confused. Tanner corrects me,

"No crazy it's tomorrow," I sigh in relief.

"Did you start your speech yet?" She asked.

"No, I have so my work to do."

"Ask for an extension or something." She suggests.

"Sooooo...what are you and Richie doing for Valentines Day?"

"I don't know. We can't go on dates because of-"

"Screw it. "

"What?" I asked.

"Screw it. Go on a date with Richie in public, you can tell everyone tomorrow. They don't own you and don't worry about anyone, we'll always support you." She smiles.

"Thanks it's like you read my mind!" I chuckle.

"Hey it's my job, plus you're my bestie I got you for life."

February 14th, 1986 Hawkins, Indiana

I woke up early putting the final touches on my love letter to Richie. I sealed it in an envelope and put it in my bag. I decided to wear a bit more makeup. I put red lipstick on my lips and light blush. I decided to ride my bike to school and get there early. I head inside and slip my note in Richie's locker. I go to the A.V. room and started finishing El's heart decorations. I hang them up on the front of our door. I sit down and start reading a X-Men comic. I hear distant chatter and the door opens.

"Finally we found you Y/n we've been looking for hours." Max sighed in relief.

"Sorry I've been in here all morning." I said tired.

"Well hurry up there selling candy, cookies, donuts, and a bunch of other shit." Dustin announced.

"No one is gonna say anything about the decorations?!" I asked.

"There lovely come on," Tanner said. I saw Richie, Mike, Lucas, and El in the line. There was more than what Dustin said. It bigger than a book fair. Will had already brought something in a small box.

"Hey n/n." Richie greeted. I took his arm and put it around my shoulders.

"What are you doing?" He asked nervously.

"I want to be official. No more hiding, no lying, just us." I whispered, he smirks at me before kissing me on the lips in front the whole entire party. As I pulled away I saw Will leave the room, I guess it made him uncomfortable but screw it this is my relationship. Will had he shot and he left me.

"Your dating?" Dustin asks and we nod.

"I ship it!" Dustin smiles.

"I though something was going on between you two." Lucas says.

"The truth did come out after all." Max laughs, she and Tanner high-five. I look at Mike and El, they haven't said anything this entire time. El approaches me she softens her tone.

"Don't bother asking my opinion, I support your decisions." We hug for a bit as Mike talks to Richie. Mike was serious and stern, I knew Mike trusted me but he was a little over protective lately. They comeback smiling, Will returns moments later. The day passed quickly we had a half-day so most of us spent time with our girlfriends and boyfriends while, Will went home.

Richie and I walk into my favorite diner in town. We order a strawberry milkshake with two straws. I laugh at how we are such clichés. We walk to the park and watch the stars in the night sky. It was getting late and we held hands as we walked back to my house. We stand at the doorstep holding hands as he towers over me. I give him a kiss the cheek and thank him for tonight.

Happy Valentines/Galantines Day! I hope you all get chocolates and teddy bears! ♥️ Publishing early for the special day! Also Mills B-Day?! I don't know how she's almost 16, I feel old even though she's older. BTW I'm thinking of making some HSMTMTS  or Umbrella Academy books, (maybe some imagines their faster to make). I might republish my old losers book! (with edits of course) What do you think, leave comments please! Also new chapter on Mills B-Day!
