Richie's POV:
I think I like her. I mean I can't I like guys. I mean Eddie kissed me so it doesn't mean anything right? But I knew I liked him. So I guess I like girls and boys. What if she finds out? I'm mean if she truly likes me back then she won't care. I mean she wrote me a letter but, at the same time I wrote one for her too and multiple people as well. I mean if you can count a massive letter to the losers club. As I went to drop off the letter I noticed there was a letter in the mailbox. I exchanged letters. I looked at who sent the letter and it had Bill's address. I went up to my shared room with Mike and I opened it.

Hey Richie,
Merry Christmas! We miss you a lot, we were thinking we should all meet up again soon! Also we need to talk I think it's happening again. I need you to call me if anything weird happens, okay? I know you might not wanna come back because of him but we need you if you see him or anything weird. I hope to see you soon!

"Fuck." I mutter.

"What happened?"

"Nothing,"

"Are you sure?" Mike asks again.

"Yeah," I head downstairs.

"Where are you going now?" Mike calls after me.

"I'm making a call jeez," I say hoping he will leave me alone. He goes downstairs to the basement. Recently Mike has been super annoying I mean he wants to know what I'm doing constantly. I guess he wants to know the truth and everything. I didn't tell him about my foster dad (?) or anything like that. I mean he's my brother but I guess it weird. Then he'll treat me weird and shit. And I'm not ready, y/n has been keeping it a secret too which is really nice, besides her only my mom and dad know about it.

I dial y/n's number and her stepsister Kate answers.

"Hello...?"

"Hey Kate it's Richie can I speak to—"

"Y/n? I got it, Y/N YOUR BOYFRIEND'S ON THE PHONE!!!" She yells. I hear a small amount of bickering then she answers.

"Sorry about that she's sad Troy is on vacation,"

"No don't be, so Kate thinks I'm your boyfriend now?"

"What? No, I mean—"

"I was just messing around, I wanted to talk to you about something,"

"Yeah me too, I can come by in 10,"

"Umm can we meet somewhere else, Mike is probably inviting Jane er El over."

"Okay I'll see you at the library, okay?"

"Okay, bye." She says.

"Bye."I reply as she hangs up. I hear breathing on the other line and I know someone in the house is listening. Only Nance has a phone in her room but she's with Jon, and there's one the basement.

I roll my eyes put on my jacket and hat and I start heading out.
The walk wasn't that long, I see her e/c eyes meet mine we sit down and talk.
