Chris's POV
'Did Wesker just call Laura his daughter? No... That's impossible. There's no way in hell Wesker is my niece's biological father. If Laura was his daughter, then he and Claire... No! Claire would never! Unless...' My thoughts trailed off, as I glared up at him.
Everyone except for me had their guns raised—pointing them all at Wesker. Even Tyler did so. I carefully picked up Laura off the ground. Holding her delicately in my arms, with her blood from her wounds smearing and staining all over my bullet-proof vest in the process.
"Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to end this little family reunion of ours. No more time for games, Chris. Now, hand over my daughter or else I will take her by force," Wesker demanded.
"Daughter...?" I thought aloud.
"Oh, did Claire not tell you about our child? I expected that she would keep it a secret for all these years—especially from you. Her own brother–"
Claire fired her gun at him, only to dodge it at an inhuman speed. Wesker chuckled darkly at her.
"There's no point of hiding it for any longer Claire. Now that our little secret is out," He provoked her.
"Is it true Claire?" She shifted her gaze over at me. "Is Wesker biologically Laura's father???" I asked her, my tone slightly more brooding then usual.
Claire stared at me—looking for any signs of rage or disappointment apparent in my facial expression. She lowered her head steadily.
"Yes... It's true, all of it. Wesker is the father of my child." Claire answered with a guilty tone.
'It's all starting to make sense now... Laura's hair, her eyes, her abnormal height, her intellect. No wonder she looked so much like Wesker! Because she's biologically his child, his own daughter! Then that would make Laura Jake's little sister, his half-sister.' I thought.
Piers's and Tyler's jaw both drop in utter shock, while Leon on the other hand doesn't appear as surprised as the rest of us. A mountainous smirk curls onto Wesker's lips. Who's clearly enjoying our reaction to him exploiting my little sister's guilt. Shaming her in front of all of us.
There's still one thing I'm confused about. 'If Wesker truly wanted Laura, he would've taken her while she was just a baby, yet he didn't. He waited until Laura's sixteenth birthday to do so. Why?'
"Still," Wesker directed his gaze over at me. His smirk disappeared quickly, and replaced with a bleak and austere facial expression. "Even if Laura is your daughter, she's still my niece. It doesn't even change the fact that we still love and care about her—so there's no way in hell we're letting you have her. She's staying with us, whether you like or not. If you try to take Laura away from us, we will fight back, and we will protect her no matter what. We're family now, and we won't let anything stand in the way of hurting our family," I declared.
Laura's POV
Slowly but surely, I wake up to the sound of conversation. While being oddly—yet comfortly held in Uncle Chris's arms. I remained very quiet and still. Not even daring to move a single muscle in my body as soon as I spot Wesker standing ten feet far away from us. So, I pretended to still be unconscious.
"Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to end this little family reunion of ours. No more time for games, Chris. Now, hand over my daughter or else I will take her by force," Wesker ordered in a dark demanding time.
"Daughter...?" I heard Uncle Chris think aloud.
'Hold on, "daughter"...?! He can't be meaning me, right??? There's no fucking way that I'm Wesker's biological daughter!!! It's not possible,' I thought to myself, feeling more scared by the second.
"Oh, did Claire not tell you about our child? I expected that she would keep it a secret for all these years, especially from you. Her own brother–"
Mom fired her gun at Wesker, thus cutting him off momentarily. He dodged all of the bullets shot at him at the speed of light, ignoring them as if they were nothing at all.
"There's no point of hiding it for any longer Claire. Now that our little secret is out," Wesker incited her even further on purpose.
"Is it true Claire?" Mom glances over at Uncle Chris. "Is Wesker biologically Laura's father???" He asked her, his deep tone resonating with curiosity.
Mom looked over at her brother for moment, with a blameworthy expression on her face. She lowered her head—staring down at the ground away from him. Admitting the last thing I wanted to hear right now.
"Yes... It's true, all of it. Wesker is the father of my child."
'So it is true... Wesker is truly my biological father. Just the thought of him as my father is very freaky enough to send chills down my spine. My God... I anticipated that this might happen, but I didn't want to believe it. Will I be shunned by Uncle Chris and the others for being the daughter of his archenemy...? How am I going to live with this...? With the fact that I'm daughter of a fucking psychotic delusional bioterrorist!!!' I flipped out, panicking right away. Then another thought popped into mind. 'Wesker may be my father, but it doesn't mean I have to be exactly like him.' I thought positively to myself. I'm nothing like him, we don't even have that much in common with one another! I'm rather the complete opposite of him. He's evil. I'm good. There's no way in hell that I will EVER be like him, and I'm gonna make damn sure that it stays that way.'
Both Piers's and Tyler's jaw drop in pure shock, with their weaponry still aimed at my father. Uncle Chris had become completely silent. Trying to comprehend what's been presented before him. While Leon on the other hand doesn't appear as surprised as the rest of them. His calm and cool gaze still locked onto Dad, as he aimed his handgun at him.
"Still," Uncle Chris spoke up, making Wesker glance over at him. His mischievous smirk rapidly disappears, and replaced with a grim firm emotionless expression. "Even if Laura is your daughter, she's still my niece. It doesn't even change the fact that we still love and care about her—so there's no way in hell we're letting you have her. She's staying with us, whether you like or not. If you try to take Laura away from us, we will fight back, and we will protect her no matter what. We're family now, and we won't let anything stand in the way of hurting our family," Uncle Chris affirmed, as his grasp around me barely tightens.
"There's no way in hell we're gonna let you take my daughter away from us. You selfish bastard," Mom stated, her .45 caliber handgun still trained on my father.
"You got that right," Leon acknowledged. "If you want Laura, you're gonna have to get through us first."
"When Leon says 'us', he means all of us," Piers added.
"Agreed bro," Tyler said.
'They're defending me...? But why? Hold on a minute... If my father went through the trouble of kidnapping Mom, and taking her to this place just to lure me here, then he...' My thoughts trailed off, as I had an epiphany. The feeling of both hatred and rage began building up like a wildfire. Causing tears to brim in my eyes once again. The realization hitting me very hard—hard like a giant bag of boulders.
"Uncle Chris..." I murmured softly to him. I opened my eyes as I smiled lightly, glancing up at him.
Immediately, he glanced down at me—with an apparent look of both relief and slight apprehension. Along with everybody else, except for Wesker while he stood his ground. Uncle Chris sighed.
"Laura, you're awake–"
"Put me down," I cut him off.
"But Laura, are you sure? What about your injuries–"
"I said, please put me down. I'll be fine," I pleaded.
Reluctantly, Uncle Chris carefully set me down back onto my own two feet. While everyone was exchanging worried glances with one another, including Mom. I stumbled for a few moments—causing myself to almost lose my balance and collapse onto the floor. Due to the sudden twinges coming from the various bleeding bullet holes located between my upper calves and lower thighs. The pain quickly subsides—not completely though—but more bearable for me to bear. As I regained my balance with ease.
"It's about time you dropped the act Laura. Commendable, yet futile. Even if you were able to fool them, you won't be able to fool me. Daughter," Wesker stated.
As soon as I recover my balance, I take a couple steps forward toward my father. Staring directly at him. Only distant, but also far enough to get a good look at him. Cautiously, I take out my handgun out of my holster. Raising the weapon instinctively as I steadily lifted it up into the air—aiming it at him.
"You selfish, cocky, cold-hearted, diabolical son of a bitch..." I cock my handgun as I keep my gaze on him. "I should've known that you'd be the culprit responsible for unleashing this outbreak, especially today out of all days."
Wesker chuckled, as if the insults I spat at him meant nothing at all to him. Appearing rather amused by the ruthless epithets I called him, while nodding his head with faint disapproval. "Oh Laura, is that any way to greet your father–"
I fired three shots at him, in which he dodged inhumanely once again. He didn't seem fazed one bit. "Shut it old man, I don't wanna hear it."
(Hot damn. Shots have been fired, literally... XD)
"Aren't you cold-hearted, dear heart." He paused for a moment to adjust his sunglasses. "Just accept it. We're a lot more alike than you think, Laura. Whether you like it or not, you are my flesh and blood, my daughter, and my heir. It is in your genes, after all. From the very moment you were born and brought into this world Laura—you knew very well as much as I did that you were gonna be different from other children. You can't deny it. You're more smart, strong, cunning, and perceptive than everyone else your age. Even more sharp than most adults nowadays. Yet, you're foolish enough to let so many feeble weak humans push you around Laura. Beat you down to a bloody pulp, and hold you back from showing everyone what you're actually capable of. Your true potential. If you didn't let all of that happen like I said so, you would've graduated by now and be half-way through college. Preparing yourself for a prosperous career, and a fortunate future to call your own. That's why I've taken the necessary steps all throughout your childhood, to ensure that you'd grow up both healthy and strong. Letting nothing—no matter how big or small it may be—lead you astray from your path. And when the right time comes in the future, you'll be ready to take on my mantle. Carry on a exceptional legacy to call your own, and show everyone on this wretched planet what Laura Alice Wesker is truly capable of."
It took me only a moment to realize what he meant by taking the necessary steps to ensure my well-being. 'No... How could he!!! Not only did my father cause the outbreak, the car crash earlier, and kidnap my mother. He was also the one who was stalking me on my way home last Friday, and murdered my adoptive mother—making it look like a suicide!!!'
But there was so more than just the car crash and my mother's kidnapping, I remember. One by one, I mentally began counting and piling up everything single thing I know that my father has done to influence the course of my life. Both the good and the bad. Making my blood boil even hotter with hatred towards him.
***3rd POV***
-(Start Song Here)-
Enraged even further by her father's actions, Laura's grasp around her handgun tightened instinctively, while she still aimed it at Wesker. She began feeling a slight burning sensation in both of her eyes. Making them water faintly with unnecessary tears. Laura ignored it—thinking it was nothing to worry about.
Chris, Claire, Leon, and the Nivans brothers stood behind Laura. With their guns all aimed at the one and only Albert Wesker. The group looked virtually agape with shock and repulsion towards the blonde malefactor. Especially Chris out of all people.
'What kind of sick son of a bitch takes total control of their child's life, and impels them to become someone they don't wanna be against their will?!?' Chris thought, feeling rather disgusted by his archenemy's plan for his niece.
Chris wasn't the only one who felt this way about Wesker's actions today. So did everybody else. Claire was more upset than anyone there. Laura was still her daughter, and she was more than willing to fight and protect her from her monster of a father. Leon was rather indignant about his stepdaughter's situation, still feeling as overprotective and angry as his wife. The man swore to kill the bastard before he could even lay a single finger on her. While Piers and Tyler felt very resentful of Wesker's treatment towards his daughter Laura, Tyler's best friend and lover. He didn't care if she was the daughter of some evil madman. That hardly ever mattered to him. All he cared about was protecting Laura from the very man who wanted to take her away from them.
"Listen up douchbag!" Laura started off with a venomous tone. "You may be my father, but that doesn't mean I have to be anything like you. You don't have no right at all what so ever to choose the kind of person I would grow up to be. That choice is mine, and only mine. You've given more than enough reasons to despise you as a villain, and as a fucking monster to all of us here! Father, you've destroyed my home. You've hurt so many people whom I love and deeply care for, but most of all—you hurt my own mother. And that is the final straw for me... I may be comprised of the blood of a Wesker, but I also possess the heart of a Redfield, and have the courage of a fucking Kennedy!"
Feeling beyond infuriated with her father, something unexpectedly happened to Laura. For reason, Laura began feeling this abrupt rush of adrenaline coursing all through her body. She has had multiple adrenaline rushes before—knowing what they felt like and how to channel them—but something was different about this one. It felt like as if some sort of intense power was flowing through her veins to every part of her body. This new exceptional feeling of strength felt almost too inhumane—even for Laura—like something she shouldn't be possibly feeling right now. This definitely worried her. Laura wished that she could shake the feeling off at that moment, but it only grew stronger by the second with her immense anger. The only physical signs so far of this being true, was the burning sensation in her eyes have intensified to a vast painful degree, and all of the veins in her body from her neck down to her feet have slightly dilated. Being mostly visible around both her arms, and around her thin bruised neck. After every single horrific and traumatic thing she's been through for over the past four hours, Laura had finally both physically and mentally snapped. She couldn't control herself for any longer.
Laura holstered her gun, without even a single thought of hesitation. She clenched both of her fists, arranging herself instantly into a fighting stance. They all easily foresaw what would happen next.
"Laura don't—!" Leon called out, but it was already too late.
At an inhumane speed, Laura dashed instantly up to Wesker—kneeing him fiercely in the face. Barely dazing him briefly for a moment, even for one as powerful as him. Then Laura cobra striked him—using immense strength. Sending him at least ten feet back down the seemingly lengthy never-ending corridor. Wesker skidded over the the smooth tiled-floor—catching himself with ease. He gracefully regained his posture and composure, while adjusting his sunglasses once again. As Wesker gazed down at his young daughter, he noticed a small, but major change in her. Like he excepted. Something he couldn't help but smirk about it—including the fact that everything was going according to plan so far. The color of Laura's eyes changed from her usual vibrant blue tint to a deep dark red shade—like the color of blood. Her breathing had become ragged and deep. Both of her pupils were slitted like the eyes of a cat, and her irises were now glowing with such intense radiance that those around her would surely mistake her for a B.O.W. Truly, a monster.
Everyone couldn't believe their eyes, particularly Chris and his little sister Claire. They couldn't believe what they just saw. Their state of shock making the area within the facility fall silent within a matter of seconds. This wasn't like Laura at all, they were all able to easily see that. It was almost as if Laura was a completely different person. A person filled with nothing, but hatred. 'This can't go on any longer. At this rate, if Laura doesn't regain control of herself, she'll fall right into Wesker's hands without even realizing it.' Leon though to himself. 'We have to stop Laura before she falls right into her father's trap, and now!' Chris thought immediately.
As Laura was about to charge at Wesker again, Chris fired a single shot near her foot on the ground. He missed Laura's foot by a few inches, like he intended to. Causing her to halt in her steps—as she directed her attention towards them now—instead of her father.
"Laura stop!" Her uncle yelled at her.
At once, she turned around with her back towards Wesker—facing her friends and family. Numerous growls escaped her lips, as Laura slowly began making her way towards them. Strolling more like a predator than a human being. As she continuously flexed all of her fingers. Causing some of her joints in both of her hands to pop. All of them were even more astonished when all of them saw the prominent change in Laura's eyes, and how they looked exactly like Wesker's. Still, they were concerned and altruistic as ever for her well-being. Even though she's the daughter of a nefarious monster, that doesn't mean Laura is one too, and they were very determined to prove it.
"Laura, you gotta snap out of this! This isn't you!" Leon said to his stepdaughter.
Laura ceased her in stride. "You gotta snap out of it Laura! We need you now more than ever!" Piers told her, as her expression changed from extraordinary vicious to a rather calm and soothed yet blank expression.
"We all still keenly love and care about you Laura," Chris stated.
"That'll never change sweetheart," Claire said to her daughter.
"We'll always be here for you by your side," Tyler added. "And no matter what happens, I'll always love you Laura. For the amazing beautiful kind person you are, and how you always will be..."
She immediately stopped flexing her fingers. Her current eye color started instantaneously fading from raging red back to their normal vibrant blue color, and her pupils turned back into their regular circular shape. Laura glanced down at her hands—examining the various amounts of blood stained on them—then peered back up at her family. Tears leisurely began brimming in her eyes, and eventually cascading down her cheeks like rain drops. Laura had indeed managed to regain control of herself and her emotions—only to realize what she had done—and learning what she's capable of when she loses control of herself. Laura collapsed onto her knees, sobbing uncontrollably into her hands as she covered her face with them.
"I'm s-so sorry... I-I don't know w-what came o-over me..." Laura trailed off, as she kept crying. "I–I'm a m-monster..."
While Laura wept on the ground—feeling ashamed of her previous actions, Wesker was absolutely pissed off. He almost succeeded in capturing his daughter Laura at that moment, but failed due to the efforts of his archenemy Chris Redfield and the rest of his friends and family. Wesker knew what he had to do now—in order to still succeed with his plan.

Laura's POV
After I calmed down—wiping away the rest of my tears—I hear my father whoosh over right next to me. As I look up at him, I flinched feeling instantly. Feeling surprised by his sudden appearance next to me.
"No more time for games Laura, you're coming with me now whether you like it or not."
As I attempted to get away from him, Wesker quickly grasped ahold of my wrist in an iron grip with one of his hands. While I scuffled and struggled with all my might to free my wrist and get away from him, Wesker was using his other hand to take out a familiar-looking needle out of his pocket. 'That's the needle from my dream!' I thought immediately. The instant my eyes landed on the needle, I fought more aggressively to free myself.
Right when my father was about to inject whatever it was in that needle into my system, I hear Uncle Chris and everyone else start firing their guns at Wesker. He instantly let go of my hand—while tucking the needle into his pocket and moved away from me—as he dodged and ducked all of the bullets at an inhumane speed.
"Laura, move!" Uncle Chris shouted.
While they were distracting Wesker, I promptly start crawling as fast as I can away from my father towards them. Since my injuried legs still hurt like hell and I would just waste a lot of time if I tried using them again.
The moment I reached them—feeling tired and out of breath—Leon holstered his gun and delicately picked me up off the ground bridal style. I whimpered in pain, as he carefully wrapped one of his arms underneath my legs close to my open wounds, and wrapped the other around my back. Lifting me up into his arms.
"Don't worry Laura, I've got you. You're gonna be okay," Leon comforted me.
"Leon," He looks over at Chris. "Take Laura, Claire, Tyler, and get out of here." He told him. "We'll catch up to you guys once we're done dealing with this asshole. But If we don't make it back in the next ten minutes, go on without us," Piers added, as the both of them continued shooting at Wesker.
"Got it." Leon turns away and starts heading for subway station with Mom and Tyler, as he was carrying me in his arms.
"Wait, Uncle Chris!" I call out to him, causing Leon to halt as Chris glances at me quickly.
"Be careful and try not to get killed please," I say to him sincerely.
"Don't worry kiddo, we'll be fine. I promise."
He shifted his gaze back at Wesker, while Leon continued on down the corridor with Mom, Tyler, and I, moving farther and farther away from Piers and Uncle Chris.
