After a long shower to get the dry blood out of her hair, Happy helped Sage getting dressed. As before, Sage was only partially functioning, still shocked by the events that had happened.

Despite the feeling that her head was under water, Happy's voice would occasionally come through to her, or her sister's pleading cries and the begging that could be heard from the living room.

"What happens to Fawn now?" Her green eyes searched for Happy's after he put one of his shirts on her.

"I don't know." Happy's raspy voice sounded sincere. How would he know what Jax was up to? And Fawn was Jax' Old Lady, so it was the blonde's decision what would happen. "But I hope that she gets what she deserves. Although everything would still be too good for her."

"Yeah..that's true", Sage huffed, lowering her head before resting it against Happy's chest. It was his support she needed the most right now.

"I was hoping she was dead", she admitted in a murmur, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist. Tears gathered in her eyes again as Happy ran his hand through her still damp hair. "She would've deserved it. Who the hell is willing to harm a baby?"

"Psychopaths and apparently also jealous people", the SAA replied, his tone laced with disgust. Not even he would ever be able to hurt a child. To him, people like Fawn were truly garbage and pure evil. "Still, I'm glad she's not dead."

"How come?" Sage's head snapped up, confusion crossing her face. "Are you telling me I should have just let it go?"

"Fuck no", Happy snorted, shaking his head before taking her face in his hands. "She deserved every single punchแ…ณ and she deserved many more. But could you have lived with the guilt of taking someone's life? Be honest with yourself."

Happy's question took her back a bit and made the redhead think for a long moment. She actually wanted to answer 'yes' straight away, but it wasn't as easy as she had thought.

After a few moments Sage shrugged uncertainly. She had to admit, as much as she hated to, that she probably couldn't have lived with the guilt.

"Probably not." Angry with herself, she pressed her lips together, letting a snort escape her nose. "She killed my babyแ…ณ so why couldn't I live with the guilt? Does that mean my son didn't mean enough to me? That I'm not a good mom if I can't kill someone for my child?"

Happy let her ramble while she paced up and down, maybe she just needed to get this off her chest. But then he grabbed her wrist as she passed him again and pulled her towards him. He timidly brushed back her ginger hair after lifting his hand.

"No, that just shows that not everyone is a killer, Sage. And that's a good thing", he emphasized seriously as he stared into her eyes. "Killing someone shouldn't leave you cold, like me, or some others. Even if Fawn deserves it, be glad you still have enough conscience left that you can't just kill someone like it's nothing special."

He lifted a corner of his mouth as he looked down at her, studying her face. "Violet needs at least one parent who is still somewhat emotionally normal."

"I don't know if I'm that emotionally normal if I lose control so quickly", Sage said awkwardly before she buried her hands in the back pockets of her jeans. "And you're a great dad, Hapแ…ณ even when you do things that are morally wrong. None of us are perfect."

"You lost control for a reason, Sage." He slowly ran his thumb along her chin before lifting her head for a kiss, frowning at her afterwards. "I promise you that Violet will never find out what I'm doing."

"Good, she should grow up carefree as long as possible. But you're her dad and eventually she'll figure it out herselfแ…ณ and that's okay." A small smile formed on Sage's lips. "She'll love you no matter what you do. And it doesn't mean she has to know everything down to the last detail."

"You're a great Old Lady, you know that?" His hand slid to the back of her neck, squeezing it gently while his thumb rubbed her soft skin. "Can't wait to finally give you my crow."

"Me neither, baby", she whispered, smiling. "Now that I'm no longer pregnant.. you could actually tattoo me these days."

"Are you feeling good enough for this?" Happy asked, raising an eyebrow. "Because you definitely should for this."

With giving birth and now the extra stress with Fawn, he wasn't sure if she was physically fit enough. And getting the tattoo would take a few hours and was probably an extra burden on her body.

But if she felt good enough for it, he would love nothing more than to finally mark her properly. Everyone knew that she belonged to him, who she was and yet the tattoo was an extra statement and simply should be on an Old Lady's skin.

"I may still feel a little weak, but otherwise I'm fine", she assured him. She wasn't feeling well emotionally, of course, but that would weigh on her for a while. "Besides, I finally want everyone to see who I belong to. And it would definitely distract me for a few hours."

"Okay, then let's do it", he grunted in agreement, gently squeezing her neck again. "But we'll still wait a few days, I want to be sure that you're really feeling good enough and you only gave birth four days ago. Give your body some time, little girl."

"You're cute, you know that?" With nothing but gratitude, she looked into his eyes and lifted a hand to his cheek.

"Canแ…ณ" Sage didn't get any further as she was interrupted by a scream and shortly afterwards a rumble could be heard. As if someone had tackled someone else down. "What was that?"

"I'll go check." After Happy left the bedroom, Sage followed to see what was going on in the living room.

Sighing, she rubbed her face as she saw Jax struggling to keep Fawn on the ground. Considering that her sister had been unconscious almost half an hour ago, she really seemed to be pretty strongแ…ณ or it was probably the adrenaline that was pumping through her veins.

Tig was nowhere and Sage became worried about her father. "Hey! Where's dad?", she asked loudly to drown out the fighting noises.

Jax, cursing violently, pushed himself to his feet and let Happy do the work for a moment. The killer easily dragged the blonde to her feet and held her in chokehold until Jax would tell him what to do. Still, he wrapped his arm extra tightly around Fawn's throat to make the next few minutes as uncomfortable as possible for her after what she had done to his Old Lady.

"I sent him home when the bitch started begging for help. He would've softened at some point." Jax, slightly out of breath, pushed back some blonde strands, his other hand resting on the back of the couch as he looked at Sage with a sigh. "What do we do with her? You also have a right to have a say in this. You should probably decide her fate alone."

"I?" Sage let out a snort, her finger pointed at her own chest before quickly shaking her head. "No, I don't decide this alone. But I want her to suffer and before anything happens, I need her for about an hour."

"Okay, it was just a suggestion", Jax countered reassuringly. Confusion reflected in his eyes as he looked at her. "Why? What do you need her for?"

"She needs to see what consequences her actions had, what happened because of her", Sage spat quietly as anger rose within her again. A quick glance at a gasping Fawn was enough to make her blood boil. "And then you can do whatever you want with her as long as she gets punishedแ…ณ I don't care how."

"You have a plan yet, Pres?" Happy asked from across the room, a murderous glint in his eyes. He was definitely willing to have a part in it too. โ€œWe still have enough places to bury a body.โ€

"You fucking psycho", Fawn hissed as she tried in vain to loosen his arm around her throat, but Happy only squeezed harder as he got annoyedย  by her big mouth.

"No", Sage shook her head, exchanging a look with the two men. "If you really kill her, we'll have to make it look like an accident and organize a funeral. Mom should have the chance to say goodbye to her, and dad tooแ…ณ even if she doesn't deserve a nice funeral."

"That means we would have to wait until her swelling goes away and then make the whole thing look like a suicide. I think that would be the easiest solution", Jax suggested thoughtfully, running his fingers over his beard. "In any case, her injuries need to be healed completely. The scratches on her neck and face now also contain your DNA."

"We'll just keep her in the cabin. No one will look for her there", Happy chimed in, getting pretty annoyed that Fawn was still trying to defend herself by kicking him. "But I'm not taking the risk that anything could fall back on Sage."

"No, of course not", Jax said in agreement. When another idea came to him, he mostly looked at Sage. "Or we both report her, make sure she ends up in prison for what she did."

"Jax, you can't do that!" In addition to Fawn's hysterical pleading, she now suffered a coughing fit as Happy loosened his grip only to put her back in chokehold the next moment.

"Shut your mouth, bitch", Happy snarled at her, earning a grateful look from Sage as Fawn finally kept her mouth shut.

"Do you think that's a good idea?", she asked the blonde hesitantly. "She could also tell them what I did, what we're doing here right now. And after all, she's injured. We would also get in trouble."

A victorious smile appeared on Jax' face. "I don't think she'll be stupid enough to testify against us if she wants to see Hayley ever again."

The blonde approached his Old Lady and motioned for Happy to let go of her. As Fawn was about to put a hand on her throat, Jax took over for her and pushed his wife into the wall behind her.

Furiously, he studied into her swollen face with a scoff. "You're lucky I haven't forgotten that you're a womanแ…ณ or I would have beaten the shit out of you already", he hissed before gathering some saliva that he spat in her face.

He watched as Fawn gasped for air, trying to say something but unable to make a sound beyond his grasp. She looked at him with her big, blue eyes that were filled with nothing but fearแ…ณ but he felt nothing but hatred for this woman.

"Sage and I are going to the cops and report you. We're going to tell them that you confessed to us because you couldn't live with this guilt anymore", Jax whispered menacingly, letting his tongue glide over his lips as a hint of madness reflected in his eyes. "You're going to tell them that Sage lost control out of anger, but you don't want to press charges because you deserved it. Then you'll tell the cops exactly what you did to her and my son. Do you understand?"

Loosening his grip so Fawn could answer him, he eyed her disdainfully.

"No...you can't...you can't do that, Jax", Fawn choked between quick breaths to fill her lungs with air again. "H-Hayley needs me. I'm her mother!"

Sage flinched in the background as a loud, sharp sound echoed through the room, so loud that the sound even bounced off the walls after the blonde had backhanded her sister. Happy, standing by her side, placed a hand against her back.

Normally Sage would never just accept violence against a woman. In this case, Fawn deserved Jax' smack and probably a few more.

"You don't really have a choice, Fawn", Jax seethed as he grabbed her throat again and squeezed. "You won't see Hayley again unless you do exactly as we say. And you won't see her again until you're out of prison."

Which was bullshit. Jax would never let Fawn anywhere near Hayley again. But if he told her that now, she would never tell the cops what he asked her to do.

โ€œDo we understand each other now?โ€, he asked, glaring at her. If looks could kill, Fawn would be dead now.

Whimpering, the blonde slid to the floor and out of Jax' grasp. Sobbing, she clawed her hands into the round, white carpet on the wooden floor and let the tears fall, which liquefied the dried blood on her face and let it drip onto the carpet.

"I'll do it...I'll do anything if that means I can have Hayley back", she cried out, then raised her gaze and let it wander across the room. First to Jax, then to Sage. "I fucking hate both of you for this."

Sage huffed, arms crossed as she looked at the misery on the floor. "What makes you think I give a shit? You're lucky you're still alive."

Fawn let out a bitter laugh through her tears. "That baby can be happy that I put him out of his miseryแ…ณ no one needs such a weak mother who can't even kill the person who hurt her own flesh and blood."

"You fuckin' bitchแ…ณ" Happy quickly held Sage back as she was about to attack Fawn again, knowing that his girlfriend would definitely kill the younger Trager this time if he didn't stop it now.

"Don't let her get to you. That's exactly what she wants", Happy whispered in her ear, his grip around her stomach to keep her in place. "Don't give her that satisfaction, little girl."

"I'll give you a few minutes with her later", Jax gave Happy a meaningful look as he saw the murderous intent in Happy's eyes. "But don't kill her, I want her to rot in prison."

As much as Happy wanted to kill the youngest Trager sister as slow and painful as possible, he knew that five to ten years in prison was the greater punishment. Above all, he didn't believe that Jax was actually willing to give Hayley back to Fawn after she served her time.

Besides, he would kill Fawn the moment she got out. When she was free again. Then she spent years in prison only to be killedแ…ณ sounded fair in his eyes.

"No, Jax! Fuck...what else am I supposed to endure?! Haven't you guys done enough to me?!" Fawn yelled, her body shaking again.

"Cut it, Fawn. You brought this on yourself", Jax huffed. His pity was definitely limited. "Now get up before I change my mind and decide to kill you."

"She's mine now", Sage said adamantly, breaking out of Happy's grip before stepping towards Fawn, who she then roughly dragged onto her feet. "I want to show you something."

"I'm not going anywhere with you!" Fawn yanked her arm out of Sage's grasp, but her sister had so much strength in her grip that Fawn couldn't free herself. "Let me go!"

With a scoff, Happy approached the two women when he had enough of Fawn's disrespect and pulled her face close to his by her hair. "Stop whining like a little bitch and do what my Old Lady says or I swear I'm going to break every single bone in your bodyแ…ณ and I don't give a shit if I'm gonna end up in prison, too."

Frightened, Fawn stared into Happy's dark eyes. A shiver ran down her spine at the menacing sound of his gravelly voice. "Oแ…ณokay fine", she choked out, swallowing.

Jax just cleared his throat, a small grin of satisfaction on his lips as Fawn was about to piss herself out of fear. If there was someone who could tame anyone, it was Happy.

"Thanks, baby", Sage said sincerely, kissing the tattooed biker before she disappeared through the extra door in the kitchen that led into the garage with Fawn. The two men following closely, of course.

"Where are you taking me?" Fawn asked with a groan. Apparently the feeling of having failed was just beginning to set in for her.

"Visit your nephew", Sage answered coldly without sparing Fawn a glance. Instead, she just opened the passenger door and pushed her sister into the seat. "You can explain to him why he didn't have a chance."

Fawn's eyes widened as she realized Sage was taking her to the cemetery. "No, thatแ…ณ I don't want that. I don't want to see his grave."

"Well, you should have thought about this a few years earlier", the redhead snarled before slamming the door in Fawn's face. Then she turned around when Happy reached for her arm.

"Are you sure you want to this today?" There was a hint of worry in his eyes. Sage wasn't exactly stable at the moment and he was worried that a visit at the graveyard would only push her into a deeper black hole.

"Yeah..maybe then she will finally understand what she really did to me. And I need that too in order to be able to make peace with it." Sage took a deep breath and forced a smile on her lips. "I know what I'm doing, Hap. And you're there with me."

"And me too", Jax chimed in, a wistful smile on his lips before he climbed into the back of the car.

After a moment's hesitation, Happy finally gave in with a nod and also got into the car. He definitely wouldn't leave his Old Lady alone in a car with Fawn and her ex right nowแ…ณ even if she got along better with Jax now.
