❁ ──── ˖⋆࿐໋₊ The song "Material Girl" by Madonna must have been the song playing when Valentine Banks was born. As humbled and generous as she was, it did not stop her from enjoying the finer things in life like her older sister Hillary. And it certainly didn't stop the princess behavior she grew up to have.

But that didn't mean she didn't know what hard work was. She made perfect grades in school, has an after school job at a local library and still has time to make her nail appointments. She was a bad girl. But not in the sense of her being bad. She was independent and a feminist. Often times, she can be too independent but that's okay, that adds to her charm.

And that's one of the things Dion Lyon, her trouble making classmate, loved about her. How she was such a goodie two shoes, a daddy's girl and was so easy to tease. It became sort of a routine to bother her in the hallway.

And as much as she gets super annoyed with him, deep deep deep down, she loved the attention he was giving her. Which started their really lengthy road to romance.
