"She likes you, dude!"
Geoff, Duncan, and Bridgette were all sitting next to each other on the dock. Originally, they were talking about how they were going to win the next challenge, but the subject changed rapidly. "No doubt," Duncan replied, a smirk was evident on his face. Bridgette rolled her eyes, but a smile appeared on her face. Geoff lifted his cowboy hat slightly, and then he whispered,
"Do you really think a delinquent like you and an innocent rule-follower like Courtney would work?"
Duncan smiled, "Come on, she's not that bad."
The three teenagers were laughing and smiling until they heard the unpleasant voice of Chris McLean. Their joyful expressions changed in about 2 seconds when the host made his way to the cabins. Chris spoke into his megaphone, "Your challenges start tomorrow, but for now, it's lunch time!"

The only thing Courtney felt was confusion. Duncan wasn't her type, and she wasn't his. Courtney always tried to push him away, even though she regretted it every time. Duncan would approach her and say, "Hey, princess," and she would blow him off. Courtney always felt terrible afterward, but she couldn't have a crush on a bad boy who wasn't her type.
Could she? Was Duncan even into her?
Of course he was, even though she assumed he was messing with her. Courtney wanted to tell him everything she felt about him, but she wasn't ready yet. Duncan's eyes were only on Courtney, and vice versa, but what they didn't know was that there was someone else who had eyes for Duncan.
Would this ruin things for Duncan and Courtney?
