Personality:
Jia is a snarky, vivacious and outgoing girl who lives for adrenaline and lives in the present. She is less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment however than she is in enjoying the social and emotional connections she makes with others. Her keen eye and her observant nature makes her constantly alert and aware of what's around her. Often times she will get lost in her own world while simultaneously finding so many ways to look at the one she is standing in.

As she observes, forming new connections and ideas, she won't hold her tongue- she's excited about her findings, and shares them with anyone who'll listen. This infectious enthusiasm has the benefit of giving her a chance to make more social connections, which is why she is basically friends with everyone that she can be friends with. She is a very loud person in general and struggles with holding her tongue. People either find her a bit much or a pleasant and friendly person. Regardless her sharp tongue and quick wits endear her to many.

Jia has her own brand of stubborn recklessness. Sometimes, especially when she was younger, she would break a rule on purpose just to see what others would do. See how far she could push. Her habit of doing things just to see if she could has never gone away. Owing to her rather sheltered upbringing, Ji's optimism and enthusiasm can border on recklessness, to the point of endangering the people around her with her madcap antics. Its never intentional, and she'll always try to reverse her fuck-ups but there have been many, many situations that it was almost impossible to cover up.

Many believe she is careless about her life, because of her tendency to jump into danger willingly. Its not carelessness alone, but paired with her curiosity its hazardous. She is very playful and competitive. She'd jump off a cliff so she could say she survived it and to know what it felt like. Jia has great athletic prowess which, coupled with her competitive streak, makes her formidable. Oh yes, any form of competition like debates or board games or races causes her to absolutely transform into a bloodthirsty monster. When she is being competitive, she often will be teasing or sarcastic towards her opponents, her sharp wit emerging.

Jia generally strives to do what's right - and she wants to help create a world where others do the right thing as well, to uplift others and spread compassion. Concepts like egalitarianism and karma can mean a great deal to her. She pursues this with a single-mindedness that can catch others off guard. Personally, she rarely settles for "good enough," and her willingness to disrupt the status quo may not please everyone.
She is troubled by injustice, and she cares more about altruism than personal gain. As a result, she steps in when she sees someone facing unfairness or hardship, aspiring to fix society's deeper problems, in the hope that unfairness and hardship can become things of the past.

Brief backstory:
Jia doesn't remember much before her life was thrust into valorant this and radiant that and responsibilities and so on. She comes from an average enough family, her mother was a teacher, her father was an accountant and she was their only child. They reminded her everyday that they were proud of her, they were loving and kind and nobody could have possessed a happier childhood than she did. She wanted for nothing, she worried only of petty school conflicts or childish issues thats seem so small now in the backdrop of conflict that is now her life.
When she was dragged away from the life she knew to a new place with a million different new rules and people and lifestyles, well she felt a little overwhelmed. For all of her outgoing nature and her friendly disposition, she was a little intimidated. Anyone would be. She had been dragged from a happy home, a normal life to war. To death and sacrifice and responsibility she was not ready for.  Atleast not yet.
She believed perhaps if she worked hard, trained hard, really tried to embody the title given to her and the role that came with it then this feeling of profound loss she felt for the life she once had would fade and she would grow to accept what all of this meant for her. Well it worked....eventually...kind of. She is now a great agent, she is told every day that people are proud of her, those people are just not her parents.
