Role: Gullibility is a Virtue
Name: Elizabeth Clarke
Age: 17 going on 18
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual
Birthday: 4th August
Looks: Connie Glynn
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Grade: Senior?
Personality:
The first thing anyone notices about Eliza is her awkward, shy nature. She is not a people person, she is a literally-anything-else person. This probably due to her lack of interaction when she was young, caused by her having to go from hostpital to hostpital to home to hostpital over and over and over. She mostly talked to her mum, her brother and save the turtles who she had befriended before everything started.
Eliza is incredibly curious about the world around her, easily enchanted by even small details. After years in bland, beige hostpitals and cars, even going back to school this year was an adventure. The bus was as exciting as a plane, unable to understand why her friend complained so much about the cold as she hopped herself up in a sweater or tried to escape the heat as she walked around on the grass. She works very hard towards her goals, so much so that she will sometimes end up greatly sleep-deprived. She's smart, very smart, due to her curious nature and thirst for knowledge. She is tactical, observant and very good at solving problems and mysteries.
Despite the fact that Eliza acknowledges her dependent nature, she is incredibly resilient. This trait is exhibited whenever she is faced with a dire situation. Rather than backing down, Eliza channels her emotions within herself to find a solution. She is imaginative, and when she is in distress or has to overcome a difficult task, she usually escapes into another world, pretending to be someone else who is fit for the role.
This stemmed from having to entertain herself when alone. She has a great love for the arts, whether that be singing or writing or acting out plays in her head. Her greatest love however, is for art itself. Painting and drawing and sculpting things. Often times you will find her with a sketchbook, especially when she is nervous in social situations.
Another way her lack of human contact has affected her is the fact that she is so unwaveringly trusting and kind to everyone she meets. There had been many times she had been going through something and when people had treated her with cruelty, it made everything worse. So she decides to be caring to everyone and believe what they say. She will deal with the let down if it comes.
Often when people tell her that she needs to be less gullible, she doesn't let it affect her. She simply says "You shouldn't make a flaw out of something because others are cruel".
She feels bad if she hurts someone's feelings, whether intentionally or not. She loves to help others and whenever she sees that someone is upset, she does her best to cheer them up.
That's the thing. Eliza doesn't get scary angry, she gets devastatingly disappointed. She brings people down with calm retorts and downcast eyes. Whether or not it's intentional, it is very effective on anyone who has wronged her. She often uses the same method when someone hurts her friends. She only lost her temper with someone once and they are still afraid of her.
Overall, Eliza is a sweet but gullible girl, who is doing everything she can to reimmerse herself back into the every day. She thinks she is doing a rather good job of it too.

Background:
Eliza and her family all moved to America from London when she was 11 because her mother had gotten a job placement. She quickly befriended the neighbour next door after having a very in depth conversation about animal welfare. She had begun to come out of herself a little until she was bullied for her shy nature. This wasn't helped when something monumental happened, changing everything. She was diagnosed with Lung Cancer whem she was 14, it thankfully being caught in the early stages. Then she was taken out of school as she went from hostpital to hostpital until they could get her the chemo and radiotherapy she needed. Throughout this time, her family had fallen apart. Her sisters didn't take it well, and struggled to see her bedridden. Nobody took it worse than her father however, they couldn't even talk to him about it. It was mostly her mother and brother who accompanied her to the hostpital. The highlight of her time was always getting to come home. They always made a huge fry up and let her talk about anything. After months of chemo, finally they arrived home and everything was different. School was different and she struggled to catch up. Thankfully savethe turtles introduced her to all of his friends. It took a long time but eventually she grew to really care for them. Now she wants to do all the things she couldn't when she was locked up in those awful hostpital. The cancer could possibly come back, nd she intends to do everything she can now just incase.
