Upon first glance, Lena is a confident, cocky and careless girl. She lives by her own rules and is held down by virtually nothing. She has a good reason to be so cocky, many suppose. Given that she has stolen the crowns from all four kingdoms and many more and gotten away with it, she is enlisted by many people to do difficult jobs. She knows shes good at what she does, and she's payed well for it.
When you want to do something insane and you want someone to do it with, you ask Lena. Her answer 99.9% of the time is yes. Whether it's cliffjumping, partying or anything in between...she's up for it.
The one thing she protests to is opiods, for personal reasons. Besides, it's not like she doesn't have the money to do basically anything she wants to.
She has a desperate wanderlust that follows her wherever she goes.
Owing to her upbringing, Lena's adventurous spirit can border on recklessness, to the point of endangering the people around her with her madcap antics. Its never intentional, and she'll always try to reverse her fuck-ups. Many believe she is careless about her life, because of her tendency to jump into danger willingly. She is very playful and competitive. She'd jump off a cliff so she could say she survived it.
She has a sharp tongue, a witty rapport to back up her fiesty nature. Generally she is too busy enjoying life to hold grudges or get too worried about things but when you hurt her or one of her friends....take cover.
She's bold! Her voice is often the loudest in a room and the one most listened to. In the lostlands, she is well respected for speaking out against the kingdoms and their willingness to abandon people here. She is known to be determined, headstrong and stubborn as she is set in her morals and will not shift. She is very accepting of everyone and doesnt agree with any sort of bias. Always seen wearing an unapologetic grin, it is very difficult to tell her that can't do something or that she shouldn't do something. She will simply prove you wrong.
Although she treats her friends kindly and rarely holds grudges against them, she is usually brutal towards her enemies. As she has matured, she has shown a willingness to become stronger and more serious and not run away from her problems.. However she still has a great sense of adventure, and has a tendency to succumb to her recklessness. A girl with a heart of gold and a silver tongue.
 

ʙᴀᴄᴋɢʀᴏᴜɴᴅ:
Lena's parents had a whirlwind romance in their late teens which ended in a baby. Elena, if that wasnt clear. Even though it was never in their plans, they decided they were in love and would rather keep and raise the baby. It was just...speeding up the inevitable. This however only played out for a few months before both of them were killed due to their roof collapsing in on them. The lostlands are rough. Lena was handed over to the family friend, Violet Clarke. Violet was a kind soul, a beacon of hope in the lostlands "town" in which she resided. She handed out food and blankets and housed anyone who passed through. She still managed to have fun, hosting parties and all that sort of thing too. Lena loved her like a mother, because that's basically what she was. That was until a group of travellers all decided to stop by for a drink and a place to stay.
Before they left, they gifted Violet with what they described as poppy jam, 'for that delicious bread you bake'. By poppy jam, they meant opium poppy, and when Violet ate the opium, she became addicted. She fell apart, losing everything they had to get money for opium. That's when Lena began to steal. By the end of the year, she had nothing. Not even her mother, who had slowly been killing herself throughout the year.
She trained herself in stealing. It was her only means of income. There were no jobs in the lostlands, that's all you ever hear. She was able to steal more and more, even travelling to kingdoms and stealing from there. It became a game. She was able to become wealthy enough to get a house and keep herself fed. Any other money that she made went to others, like her aunt did. That wasnt enough though. She resented the four kingdoms for letting the lostlands get this bad. It was a rough area but they weren't animals! She spoke out, educated the citizens of the lostlands, she could have probably started a rebellion if she wished. It wasn't enough. So over the course of a couple of months, she travelled across the kingdoms and as a sign of blatant rebellion, she stole every crown from every king and queen across the lands. She got away with it. And she would do it again.
