Julian Deramore is that type of weird guy that everyone just likes. Not because it's socially acceptable weird or anything, but because he's just too nice and too funny to be annoyed by. Ofcourse there are bullies or whatever but that stopped bothering him like 2 years ago. Also he has weed, that makes him very, very popular.
Julian is average at school, he gets by, the teachers like him and he has never failed a class (well...okay, but like divination is a bullshìt subject he will fight you on that, ooo the tea leaves tell me you'll get run over, yeah no shit I'm a dumbass-). He works hard though, and balances alot. He is an amazing writer and already does gigs at comedy clubs.
He is a try-hard in other ways and for the most part it works. He is loyal to a fault and he just wants to be liked. He has excellent people skills. In addition to having an abundance of enthusiasm, he also genuinely cares about others.

𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮
Julian is from a very interesting family, think muggle weasleys. His father works at the local primary school and his mother is a credit controller. They both worked part time until their oldest could baby sit but now they have a little bit more expendable income (chippy on a Friday, hell yes). He was the only wizard to come out of the Deramore household (much to the jealousy of his younger siblings who all tried to levitate and move various objects with their minds for weeks). He isn't in poverty or anything but they definitely need more room then they have. Its sort of a relief that Julian is gone for the school year, one of his 4 siblings move into his room. He's lived a happy life overall, and hogwarts is no different.
