[Austin and Jessie and Ally All Star New Year]

Mira's POV

So apparently a lot has happened in the past hour ish. Jessie, Journey Emma went to Times Square to watch Austin Moon perform, but I didn't go because crowds scare me, and a crowd of screaming teenage girls, scare me even more. Even if I'm a teenager. Uh, no. I'll stay and watch my Once Upon A Time with Zuri.

So I was the good girl and stayed behind with the boys, and Zuri, minus Bertram. The bad news is that we lost Zuri and now we can't find her and we are all panicking about it. We rush all over Times Square searching for Jessie, Journey and Emma in hopes they can help us find Zuri.

"Jessie!" Ravi yells which was a little bit unnecessary but when there's an entire crowd of screaming teenagers, there's nothing else you can do besides screaming at the top of your lungs.

"What? Bertram! I told you to stay at home with the kids while I took my sister and Emma to the concert." Jessie says well, more like berating him.

"They wanted to come too, so they tricked me, they told me that 98 Degrees was performing." Bertram complains like per usual but you get used to it after a while. "But instead it's 9.8 degrees!"

"And now we lost Zuri!" Luke adds as Jessie now turns to us with surprise.

"What? What do you mean 'we've lost Zuri'?!" Jessie questions, seriously.

"We had her, now we don't!" Luke says hitting her arm. "Keep up with the program."

Jessie turns to Bertram grabbing his arms. "We should alert security! Where was the last place you saw her?" She asked.

Bertram walked to the edge of the building and we all follow him. "Somewhere down there." Bertram says and we all look at the sea of people below us.

"Wow, this is like the most difficult 'Where is Waldo' ever!" Ravi comments as Journey shakes her head at him as she holds my hand.

We all left the building and searched the crowd for Zuri. "Hey, over here!" Bertram calls and Jessie looked at him.

"Bertram did you find Zuri?!" Jessie asked.

"No, but we're on the Jumbotron!" Bertram as the camera man points the camera at all of us. Me and Journey wave to the camera with the others, but Jessie hits Bertram in the head.

"It's Zuri!" Jessie beams as she answers the phone. "Zuri! You're-You're where? I can't hear you, sweetie, speak up! You're at the mall!" Jessie says before Journey sees something in the Times Square Ball, and her eyes widen. 

Journey shakes her sister's hand but that doesn't work as she forcibly moves Jessie's head towards the Square Ball and Jessie finally saw what got her attention and her mouth fell open.

"She is so grounded!" Jessie declares. "Well, once I get her back on the ground. We have to get to the top of the building!"

We finally got to the top of the building where the ball was located and we left the crowd of screaming teenagers which made me feel a little better.

We all look up at the ball and we could see Zuri sitting inside it. "How on earth did you get up there, anyway?!" Bertram asked her through the phone.

"Well, you know how I like shiny things, so, yada, yada, yada, bam! Suddenly, I'm stuck in a ball!" She exclaims as that does not help her case at all.

"Don't worry. I'll get you down." Jessie assures Zuri and hands up turning to the rest of us. "First one with an idea gets to stay up past their bedtime." 

"It's already passed our bedtime, in the first place." Journey says as Jessie gives her sister a look which Journey just shrugs her shoulders.

"A cursory examination reveals the ball is operated by a timer." Ravi explains to us touching the box that holds the controls. "All we have to do is open this box and override the system." Ravi attempts to open the box but it didn't budge. "Alas, this fortress is impenetrable. Poor Zuri, we hardly knew you."  We all give him a look of disbelief. 

"Let me do this." I say as I cracked my knuckles and attempted to open the box. I groaned and pried it open and the others gasped with delight. "Nice, Mira. Where'd you learn that?" 

I just shrug my shoulders. "See she's talented, what's your excuses?" She says as Journey gave her sister a look.

"Rude." Journey mutters under her breath as I smile at what she said.

"Oh man, this looks really complicated." Jessie says noticing the confusing controls inside.

"Not at all! This is why you call my country when you have a problem with your computer." Ravi says as I help him with the controls.

I know a thing or two about control panels, and technology. I watch videos about that when I'm bored, other than shoving my face with ice cream.

"Zuri hang on!" Jessie calls as the ball began to drop and the people below started to count down from ten. We glance up at Zuri and she was still close to the top.

 "Can't this thing go any faster!" Jessie says as she wasn't helping by messing with the controls.

"Jessie, please!" Ravi pleads, trying to get her to stop.

The ball froze in place and the crowed repeated the number four which was starting to get annoying but whatever.

"Does anybody care that it's still six minutes til midnight?" Bertram asked us noticing the same issues I was seeing. After me and Ravi fixed it, Zuri was slowly descending and then the ball completely dropped.

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause as we saved Zuri from the ball. "Jessie!" Zuri smiles as Jessie grabs Zuri from inside the ball.

"Oh, Zuri!" Jessie sighs with relief as she sets Zuri down and away from the ball. "Oh, thank goodness. Oh, thank goodness you're okay. I love you so much. If you ever do anything like that again, you will not live to see double digits." Jessie says.

Zuri gives her a look of disbelief. "Make up your mind! Are you happy to see me or are you mad?" 

"Both, I just wanna squeeze the life out of you." Jessie says as suddenly the control panel short circuited and we slowly backed away from it.

"I think I hit the wrong button." Ravi says.

"Either, those are the world's worst fireworks." Emma began as we all gasped when the lights shut off, leaving us in the dark." Or, Ravi, broke New York." 

Suddenly I sneezed which was loud and everyone practically screamed as I scared them. "Sorry."

"Must, you Mira. I think I just tinkled a little." Jessie says which made Bertram step away a little from her when she said that.

"Gross." He mutters which she whacked his head.

"New Years' Resolution: Get more exercise." Jessie suggests to us. "Run!"

All of us sprinted down the stairs, yelling out with fear for our lives.

The following day was just a normal day since it was New Year Day. Jessie, Emma, Ravi, Luke, Journey and I all sat at the table while Bertram was making us breakfast. Simba walks into the kitchen and goes to his water dish and starts eating his food.

"Hey, Jessie! Can you proof read my poem for school?" Zuri asked Jessie.

"Sure, what's it called?" Jessie asked.

"Stranded: My Night of Terror High Above Times Square." Zuri informs her before setting down her poem and going over to the refrigerator. 

Jessie seemed cautious about the poem and looked at it. "Is this a poem or a police report? Can't you write something that won't get me fired?"

"Hey, i just go where my muse takes me." Zuri remarks, shrugging her shoulders.

Bertram came over and gave us our breakfast which was French toast, as I was eating my cereal as I wasn't feeling it for French toast.

Suddenly, Emma shot up, and screamed with excitement, which made Luke, Ravi and I jump in our seats.

"Thank you! Finally, someone else likes my French toast!" Bertram says with relief and walks away.

"No, Austin Moon and his sister are on their way up here." Emma tells which I gasp standing up.

"Really? Austin and Audrey Moon are seriously coming up here. Right now." I say as Journey gives me a look but I shrug my shoulders.

"How did they get out address?" Jessie asked Emma.

"I might have texted it to him and his sister." Emma says shrugging like it's no big deal. Five or six hundred times." Jessie gives Emma a weird look.

"Careful, no one likes a fan girl with beefy thumbs." Luke warns his sister, jokingly as I shake my head.

"Well, it will be really cool, to have two other musicians in the apartment." Jessie mentions.

We walk out of the kitchen and there was Audrey and Austin, and three other people who are their friends.

"Sorry about her." Jessie says. "She's actually harmless."

"Then why isn't Austin not breathing." The red haired guy says as Austin wasn't breathing as his eyes were popping out of his head.

"Emma!" Jessie yells, clapping. "Release! Hey!" She grabs Emma's hips and rips Emma off of Austin who was gasping for air.

"Well, we should go back to our hotel room that we don't have anymore." The other blonde says which was Audrey.

"Maybe, we can find four park benches close to each other." The curly haired girl says with pleading eyes as Audrey gives her a look. 

"Really, Trish." Audrey says shaking her head a little.

"And some lonely pigeons to keep us warm." The other girl says with a sorrow voice before they trudge toward the elevator doors.

Austin was wearing the same jacket he was during the show, but he was missing his left, shoe because Emma had stolen it. But Audrey wasn't missing any clothing attire, unlike her brother.

"Wait!" Emma stops them. "If you guys need a place to stay, we have plenty of room here, and we can fly you home in our private jet." 

"It's like you're being stalked by a Blonde Bill Gates." Trish says as she smiled with hope.

"That's so nice of you guys. How could we every repay you?" Austin asked us, as I could think of ideas, but I wasn't gonna say any of them.

"Uh, she already told you. Give her one of your toes." The red guy offers as Audrey rolls her eyes at Dez.

"Seriously, dude." Audrey says scolding him as he just shrugs his shoulders.

Jessie pulled Emma away from them. "Emma, you can't just go around inviting strangers to stay with us then offer to fly 'em home." Jessie berates Emma.

"You, know if we help them out, Austin and Audrey might be willing to perform one of your songs and turn it into a big hit." Emma reasons with Jessie giving her a smirk and then her mind changed.

"Welcome besties!" Jessie smiles brightly interlocking her arms with the boys. "The bedrooms are upstairs, the day spa is downstairs, and our Butler will be happy to prepare you anything you desire." 

"You sure?" Journey asked her sister as just then Bertram popped in.

"No, I won't! Go away! No more kids!" He scolds us.

Third Person's POV

Later, we were gonna watch a movie in the screening room. Journey and Mira sat on the floor with their phones in their hands. 

"Hey, it's Mira right?" A voice says as Mira looked up from her phone and saw Austin smiling at her, as he sat down beside Mira.

"That's me." Mira says lowering her phone.

"You don't seem like a New Yorker, like everyone else." He says and I chuckle. 

"That's because I used to live in Texas. I missed my sister so I moved to New York." Mira says as he smiles and nods his head.

"How old are you?" He asked as Mira instantly got nervous.

"Thirteen." Mira says as he nods his head.

"That's not that bad. You're really pretty." He says to her as Journey smiled as she didn't look up from her phone as she's gonna let Austin and Mira have their moment.

"Really?" Mira asked as Austin nods his head.

"Yeah." Austin says with a small smile. "Wanna exchange numbers?"

"Sure." Mira says as her and Austin exchanged numbers. "Thanks. You're actually the first celebrity who has my number."

"Really?" Austin asked. "Do you also want my weird sister's number too?"

"Sure." Mira says as she hands Austin her phone and he put in Audrey's number which made Mira smile. "Thank you, I appreciate it." Mira says as Austin nods his head.

"Anything for a pretty girl." Austin says which made Mira blush a little in the cheeks.

Later Mira was in her room as she was getting overstimulated as there was a lot of things happening. She was messing around in her phone when she heard a knock on her door which scared her. "Come in."

When the door opened it was Luke as Mira looked back at her phone continuing playing her game that she has. "Hey, can we talk?"

"About what?" Mira asked as Luke sat at the edge of Mira's bed, as she looked at him with her eyebrows furrowed a little bit.

Luke only looked at her. Mira rolled her eyes. "Is this about me and Austin talking to each other earlier?" Mira asked him as he shrugged. "Because if so, I'm not into guys like Austin. I'm not into celebrities like that, why do you think when Jordan Taylor was here, I wasn't up in his business like Emma and Jessie were. Granted yes, I thought he was cute but he's not my type, and neither is Austin. So if this is about you being jealous of Austin liking me for well, me, then get out of this room." Mira says to Luke as she stood her ground, as it's true. Granted yes, she does like Austin but not romantically or anything just as friends. Strictly as friends.

Mira looked at Luke after she explained what she thinks of Austin, he got up and walked out of her room as she shook her head at him being jealous that she likes Austin. "Coward." Mira muttered under her breath but Luke was already gone.

In the screening room

Ally, Trish and Audrey screamed and it was them fleeing from Mrs. Kipling. "Mrs. Kipling the movie is starting." Ravi tells his reptile. "Settle in next to me and make sure your cellphone is on vibrate." Mrs. Kipling moves over to where Dez was sitting as she looked to be rather interested in him.

"Hey, I think she likes me." Dez mentions and Luke went over to Ravi.

"Huh, that's weird, she always sits by you in movies." Luke comments to Ravi, gesturing to the chemistry between Kipling and Dez. 

"Well, I mean it is not like there is a seating chart or anything." Ravi remarks as he is sorta jealous of this and dislikes the attention Dez is getting from his lizard. 

Everyone looks over and sees Kipling was touching Dez's hand. Ravi's eyes widened his eyes were filled with envy and jealously like how Luke was jealous that Austin was talking to Mira earlier.

"Really?" Dez says slyly and smirks at the lizard. "If you were just a little bit taller and the right species." 

"And they think New Yorkers were weird?" Emma says weirded out, like everyone else.

Mira decided that she wasn't going to Miami with the others, as Bertram stayed so he wouldn't have to deal with the kids, as she told him about the whole thing of Luke being jealous of her and Austin talking. He wanted to comfort her, so that's what he did, he wanted to be there for her when she needed it, as she's always there for him when he needs it. So it was only fitting.

Bertram and Mira were currently in the screening room as everyone else is in Miami with Austin, Audrey, Dez, Trish and Ally. Which is fine as it gave Bertram and Mira some time to spend together, which they almost never do.

Bertram looked at Mira before speaking. "Mira, listen to me when I say this." Bertram says as Mira put the spoonful of ice cream in her mouth as she looked at him. "If a man doesn't like that the fact that you have a crush on another man despite the age, then he's no man." Bertram says to Mira as he gave him a blank look for a moment, before the words set in and she nods her head. 

After a moment of silence between the two and Mira letting the words set of what he was talking about. She looked up at him. "Noted, so I will be a loner, for the rest of my life." Mira grumbled.

"Some say that females live longer than males, so if anything you'd live longer than Luke. If that makes you feel better." Bertram says as Mira couldn't help but smile at what he said as he wasn't wrong on that aspect.

"So he actually likes me, is what you're saying."  Mira says as Bertram gave her a look that he would never give to the other kids.

"From what went on earlier, he's just protecting you, even if Austin is a celebrity. Luke, just doesn't want anything happening to you. He cares about you, Mira. He really does. Trust me." Bertram says as Mira was glad to have someone to talk about her emotions as to her Bertram has his moments where he's wise. Though that only occurs when him and Mira are having a conversation.

Bertram being wise to the Ross kids will be hilarious, at least in Mira's opinion.

"What if I don't need anyone protecting me?" Mira asked not realizing that she said that out loud and not in her head.

"He will still protect you no matter what. He just doesn't want to see you getting hurt by anybody. You should be lucky that Luke is protecting you and not being an idiot. If you know what I mean by that?" Bertram says as Mira nods her head as Nala jumped into the seat next to her, before walking towards Bertram as she too wants to be apart of the conversation.

"Yeah, I do." Mira says with a smile on her face, as just then the elevator door dinged which was odd considering the fact that everyone else is in Miami. Out of curiosity she got up and walked out of the screening room and she was shocked when she saw Luke.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in Miami?" Mira asked him as after that she put a spoonful of ice cream in her mouth.

"I told Jessie what happened earlier and she said that I needed to come back and apologize to you." Luke says to Mira as she sighs before going to the couch and sitting on it.

"You have until I finish my ice cream." Mira says to him as he nods his head.

"I know this is gonna suck, but I sorta rehearsed this on the flight home. But what I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry that I got jealous when Austin was talking to you. It's because I was protecting you and didn't want to see you getting hurt. I just don't want you to get your hopes up about a guy and then next thing that you know is that you just had your heart broken. I didn't want to let anything happen to you so if I came across jealous, truth was I'm sorry. I know you said that he is out of your league and you don't like him like that, I took that the wrong way, and I'm sorry. The other side of that is, I like you Mira. I really do, I've liked you from the moment I seen you at school alone in the cafeteria. I have always liked you, believe me when I say that I'm sorry, I truly am sorry. Please give me a second chance. I know you don't like giving out second chances, but I will do anything just to get a second chance from you." Luke says to Mira as she listened to every word that he was saying as it was a little bit of everywhere to be honest.

Mira couldn't believe what Luke said, towards the end of it. 

He likes her? All of this time he liked her. 
She likes him too but she was afraid of telling him.
Now her entire world just got rocked, she sorta likes it.

After a moment of neither of them saying anything, Luke was getting more nervous as the quietness was bugging him. He anticipated what would be Mira's response. "It's okay, if you don't like me like that. I totally understand."

Mira put her bowl of ice cream on the table, and she opened her arms but Luke was confused as she never really hugged him before. After a moment of him not hugging her she said this. "You have three seconds to hug me, before I kidnap Kenny for the rest of your life, and you will never see him again." Mira says as right before she finished he hugged her.

Both of them didn't want to let go of the hug as they both needed it, as they didn't know that Bertram was watching them from the kitchen door. He was looking at them with a proud 'dad' smile on his face. He was proud that Luke owned up to his mistakes and admitted that he was sorry for acting jealous when he saw Austin and Mira talking earlier.

When they both let go, after a good solid minute of their of them letting go, they went back to hugging each other. Happy that they were back being close to each other. 

Luke was the first one to pull from the hug which made Mira frown a little as she liked it.....a little too much.

"I promise that I won't get jealous again, okay?" Luke says to Mira as she had little tears forming in her eyes.

"Don't make me cry." Mira says to him which made him chuckle. "If you get jealous you will never see Kenny again, and I will make sure of it."

When Luke realized that he wasn't gonna get out of that, he nodded his head. "Noted, not even visits?"

"Nope, no supervised visits, and absolutely no visitation rights." Mira says as he frowns at her which made her smile.

"Fine, but I won't like it." Luke says to her.

"Then don't get jealous. If you're not jealous you can keep him." Mira says to him.

"I won't I promise." Luke says to Mira, as he was going to make a deal with himself that if he isn't jealous for a while maybe he will have enough courage on asking Mira out.
