1 - new york, new nanny
[New York, New Nanny]
Third Person's POV
Not a lot of people would know, but Samira hasn't exactly been living with her mom and older sister. She's been living with the Ross'. She's even adopted. By their butler, Bertram Winkle. He was more of a father than her biological father. Samira is really happy that she has had a family to count on, that will also be there for her, if she needs it.
She's friends with the other Ross kids. Mainly Zuri because well, she's cute and adorable. She likes Ravi because he's well-mannered.
"Kids come get your food," Bertram yelled as he made waffles and bacon and also eggs. Well, Samira did most of the work as he's taught her how to cook. She won't cook for every meal but sometimes she'll help out. Give Bertram a chance to read his newspaper for once. "Thanks, Mira."
After he said that she saluted as just then four hungry kids came running into the kitchen as she and Bertram was cleaning up from making the breakfast.

Later
Third Person's POV
After school
Samira walked outside of the penthouse entrance and saw their doorman and Zuri talking to some red haired girl. "Hey, what's going on?" Samira asked Tony and Zuri. The red haired girl smiled at Samira as he smiled back.
"This is Jessie, she is going to be our new nanny." Zuri said, as Samira looked at Jessie who was confused.
"This is Samira Walker, she lives in the Ross penthouse." Tony explained as Samira smiled.
"Nice to meet you. My name is Jessie Prescott and I came here from Texas to follow my dreams...because this is where dreams come true!" Jessie explained as Samira rolled her eyes as she shook her head.
"Isn't that Hollywood?" Zuri asked as Samira nods her head.
Before anything else could be said they heard screaming and Samira looked who it was as it was the Ross' old nanny who was the one running away.
"Goodbye nanny whatever your name was!" Zuri says laughing as Samira leaned on the pole as she saw something on the ground as it looked like a wad of money. She opened the wad and it was one thousand dollars as she swiftly shoved it into her pocket.
"I like my sandwiches cut in triangles and my tu-tu's starched." Zuri says yanking Jessie inside the entrance and to the elevators, and about a minute later the elevator door opened and they were on the floor of the Penthouse.
"Woah, this is like the Astrodome, just with better furniture." Jessie says which made Samira smile.
"I'm the good child....make me brownies, and I like my tu-tu's starched." Zuri says as she continues to yank Jessie's arm.
"Wait here the parents should be home soon." Bertram says as Samira handed him the newspaper that Tony gave her before they got into the elevator.
Just then Emma, Luke and Ravi screamed as they ran into the penthouse through the balcony door.
"Please tell me those kids are in the wrong apartment." Zuri says to Jessie.
"I wish, but no. Those are Emma, Luke and Ravi." Samira says as Jessie turns to her almost forgetting that she was there.
"Or as I ca them 'the Nanny Killers', outside of Mira she's the good child." Bertran says making Samira smile as she heads to the kitchen.
Just then the door opened to reveal Morgan and Christina Ross, though they were to busy to know as they were kissing.
"Wait is that Morgan and Christina Ross the famous movie director and supermodel and now business woman." Jessie asked Bertram who seemed to not pay attention.
"No they're sheep farmers " Bertram says jokingly to Jessie as she looked at him confused.
"Hey guys we missed you so much!" Christina says hugging the kids as Samira came back with a bag of chips and a water bottle.
"And we brought presents." Morgan says pulling out a lightsaber.
"Not for you this isn't Oprah!" Bertram says pulling Jessie back towards him.
"This is Jessie. I want her to be our new nanny!" Zuri says yanking Jessie's arm once again.
"Did Nanny Kay quit? Did she say anything before she left?" Christina said asking Zuri.
"She said that you'd be hearing from her lawyers..." Emma says tilting her head confused.
"And then she said AHHHHHHH." Zuri said imitating when Nanny Kay screamed and ran away.
"Wanna see what George Lucas gave me?" Morgan asked the kids as all except for Emma and Samira were excited. As Luke, Ravi and Zuri were the only ones who was excited.
-----
"Well according to our security team, you're a straight A student, a universal blood donor, which would come in handy with our kids, AND, you have a squeaky-clean record! Except for one time in the third grade, you went to the bathroom without a hall pass..." Christina says questioning Jessie.
"If you tasted the cafeteria food, you'd completely understand...armadillo does not go down easy." Jessie says trying to prove her point.
"Whatcha goin...?" Jessie asks Christina stares at her extremely wide eyed as Jessie making Jessie uncomfortable.
"Just getting a read in ya. I have made a fortune trusting my instincts....that, and slapping my name on everything from sunglasses to cat food. You're hired!" Christina says to Jessie who's jaw dropped.
"Really." Jessie says wide eyed that she actually got the job.
----
Luke made a failed attempt to get Jessie to go out on a date with him but it didn't work. Emma had came up with a plate filled with dinner, just as Jessie had came out of her room.
"For now on, were all going to have dinner together...."
"Hey." Emma says as Jessie takes her phone from her as she groans.
"As a family!" Jessie finishes as Emma snatches her phone out of Jessie's hands.
"Eww, no, I can't eat and look at Luke at the same time!" Emma says complaining like always, as Samira rolls her eyes.
"Are you done?" Samira snapped at Emma, who had just rolled her eyes.
"Zuri time for dinner!" Jessie said knocking on Zuri's door.
"I'm already having dinner with my friend Milly the Mermaid!" Zuri shouted from her room.
"Zuri as imaginary friends." Emma says to Jessie as she slowly nods her head as a response.
"Well, if Molly can flop downstairs, she is welcome to eat with us." Jessie says asking Zuri if you can join to dinner.
"Thank you, but she won't do that, Luke makes her uncomfortable." Zuri says as Samira grinned at hearing that.
"....what?" Luke says as he goes downstairs.
----
In the kitchen
----
"I cannot believe that you excluded Mr. Kipling from our family dinner." Ravi says with irritation thick in his voice.
"Mr. Kipling was the only thing Ravi brought with him from India when we adopted him two months ago." Samira explained.
"Oh! So I couldn't board the plane with four ounces of shampoo but he gets to carry on a velociraptor. So! Isn't this nice. Would anyone like to share about their day?" Jessie said hoping that she'd at least get an answer.
"I guess that's a no. Now can I go upstairs and finish my science project?" Emma asked
"Okay, fine." Jessie says as Emma gets up and left the kitchen.
"I must leave too. When Mr. Kipling is alone, he gets scared." Ravi says as Jessie looked at him weirdly.
"Of what?" Jessie asked but before he answered Ravi had already left.
----
Everyone but Samira went up in the helicopter as she was in the living room enjoying an ice cream sundae. As she also had her earbuds in as she was singing to a song that she was listening to.
"I cannot believe you kids actually went up in a helicopter!" Jessie yelled as she was clearly angry with the kids. Samira raised an eyebrow at seeing Jessie's hair but didn't want to question it as she took her earbuds out to hear the conversation.
"We were only a few feet in the air..." Luke said then Emma, Ravi and Zuri were laughing.
"At least someone listened to me. Thanks Samira, for at least listening." Jessie says as Samira saluted her as she shoved more ice cream in her face.
-----
Jessie, Samira and Emma are in the living room as Samira got more ice cream.
"Emma, can I do anything for you?" Jessie asks Emma because she wants to help Emma.
"You can pack your bags and move to this planet?" Emma says pointing to a blue planet on her science project.
"Um, that's earth." Samira says as Emma gives her a look as Samira rolled her eyes.
-----
"Hey! This is a closed set!" The guy says to Jessie pushing her back.
"Oh, I need to speak with Morgan or Christina Ross. A little girls happiness is at stake!" Jessie says with pleading eyes as she tries to veg him to let her go through.
"Your not that little and just creepy to refer to yourself in the third person." He says as he pushed Jessie away.
"Wait, you don't understand my name is Jessie. Oh, they in here or.." Jessie says then having an idea when she turned around and saw the costumes.
"Alright extras, come over here and act dead! And remember corpses don't smile at the camera! Galactopus 2: This Time It's Personal, Scene 36, Take 2. It's yours Morgan." He says then walking away.
"Action." Morgan shouted and the cameras were rolling.
Jessie feels something grabbing her and lifting her up. "Wow, that extra looks fantastic!" Jessie heard Morgan say to Christina. It was obvious that he was talking about Jessie, as Jessie hopes that she won't die.
"Help! Help! Keep your tentacles to yourself Galatopus!" Jessie says hitting the tentacle as it falls to the ground.
"Cut! That extra broke my tentacle!" Morgan says standing up with Christina.
"Morgan! Christina! It's me Jessie!" Jessie shouted to them as they turned around with shocking looks.
"Jessie. What are you doing here?" Morgan asked Jessie.
"I came here to tell you how much Emma wants you at her science fair." Jessie explained, as they both look at her confused.
"Sbe said it was okay." Morgan says.
"She lied." Jessie told them.
"Oh, well, well make it up to her!" Christina says like it's nothing serious.
"When? Haven't you guys ever wondered why you have revolving nannies? Your kids chase them away because they wanna get your attention. They miss you, even if you fire me for saying this and loose the best job I've ever had, you need to start being there for them!" Jessie explained as they slowly nod their heads at her.
-----
"Hey! Did I make it on time?" Jessie asked Emma as she wasn't feeling jt because she doesn't want to show her project.
"I'm next, but I don't care..." Emma says looking down.
"Me neither! Let's bounce." Luke says but Jessie grabbed him and pulled him back.
"Hey, you're staying here, and you Emma should care! You worked hard on that, you should be proud of yourself." Jessie pleaded to Emma.
"Jessie, it's not even-" Emma says but got cut off by Jessie.
"Emma, listen - I know your parents can't be here physically, but that does t mean they're not with you! They are, believe me. Look. It's like these planets! They're far away from each other, right, but they have a gravitational pull. That always keeps them together. No matter what. That's what love is like! It stretches over any distance. It's too strong to be broken." Jessie told Emma, hoping that she'd understand what it's like not having your parents to here at the moment.
As Samira should know that, because her parents left her two years ago. Because of all Samira's years of knowing the Ross kids, Morgan and Christina love all of them including Samira too, and seeing Bertram with the girl too.
"Our last contestant, is Emma Ross." The judge said looking up from his clipboard.
"Go up there and kick some asteroid!" Jessie told Emma cheering her ok.
Then Morgan and Christina came late. They waved at Emma who waved back to them and Jessie waved at Emma. Morgan and Christina hug Samira.
"This is a model of our solar system. It demonstrates that even against massive opposing forces, one stronger force to keep everything together. That force is gravy." Emma explained as Jessie fake coughed and she corrects herself. "Oh. That force is gravity!" Emma corrects herself as Samira smiles brightly at Emma.
Then everyone claps for her.
"Also known as Jessie." Christina told Jessie smiling at her.
"Well, students you are all a disgrace and the reson this country is the 28th center in science. That is except for Preston and Emma. Great job guys and the winner is..." The judge was saying who the winner was until Emma's pluto fell off her project and the judges widened their eyes and murmured efore turning back around to announce who the winner is.
"The winner for her brilliant demonstration that Pluto is no longer considered a planet thus discussing previous scientific theory is Emma Ross!" The judge explained and everyone cherrs for her as she jogs over here and hugs Samira then she goes to Jessie and then her parents.
"We're so proud of you!" Christina said to Emma a d hugged her and then letting go of the hug.
"What changed your mind about coming?" Emma asked both of her parents.
"Because they love you." Jessie says as she nodded as did Christina and Morgan.
"...and we realize that being there for you is really more important than any job." Christina told Emma.
"Even if I never work for that studio again. Or any other studio! Please lord don't let me and end up on TV.." Morgan pleaded pretending to pray that he won't end up on TV.
-----
"I love victory sprinkles." Emma declared taking a lick from her ice cream cone.
"Uh oh face freeze!" Zuri says making a face and Samira giggled.
"Oh me too..." Morgan says making the same face too.
"So Ravi...what's your favorite type of ice cream?" Jessie asked as she saw Luke trying to take a lick our of her ice cream but Samira kicked his leg and he stopped.
"Not a chance," Jessie says as everyone laughed.
"All of them. In India, we just have one flavor...melted." Ravi told us as they all agreed with him.
"Hey! Mr. Kipling, you already had your dessert! You are so grounded. Go to your cage!" Jessie says as Kipling left the kitchen as she turned back around. "Getting pretty good at this nanny stuff."
----
Later
After everyone was done having their dessert they almost went into their separate directions as Samira was in the living room sitting on the couch, on her phone as Jessie walks through the kitchen.
"Never thought I'd survive a day like today," Jessie says as Samira smiled at something on her phone. "Let alone a nanny."
"Well see you Mira." Said Jana Walker, Samira's mother, as Samira clenched her fists.
"Yeah, fine. That's what you guys said the last time, and the other times before that." Samira says as Jessie clearly saw that this disturbed the girl as she felt bad hearing that.
"Everything alright, Ψ·ΩΩΨ©," Jana says as Samira rolled her eyes it was a good thing that her mother didn't see that.
(That's Arabic for baby girl).
"I'm fine, Mama." Samira says lying straight through her mouth as Jessie furrowed her eyebrows as she never heard Samira lie. She has a sad smile on her face.
"Well, I love you Ψ·ΩΩΨ©," Jana says before she hung up.
After her mother hung up Samira got up from the couch and ran to her room crying in the process. Jessie knew that whatever it was that it bothered her. Clearly. Just then Bertram came into the living room as Jessie turned to him.
"What's wrong, with Samira?" Jessie asked Bertram as he knew what she meant as he motioned her to sit as she did so but still wanted to know what's going on.
"Her mother, Jan was never around as she always made up excuses for not being in Samira's life. It comes to a point where like I'm guessing you witnessed it. She'd lie to her mom that everything is alright, even if it ain't. Bevause Jana doesn't deserve to know what's going on in her daughters life. She has another child Brenna who is the favorite because she's the oldest child." Bertram explains to Jessie who had the sad look still on her face. "That's why she's like that."
"Oh my God, that's horrible." Jessie says as Bertram nods his head. "Wait, I thought you don't care about the kids?"
"I don't. Just Samira as a year ago I actually adopted her to be my child. She's amazing once you get to know her." Bertram says as Jessie gives him a look.
He what? Adopted her.
"The only reason why I adopted her in the first place is because so she can get away from that awful family of her's. Also, because before that she was always here, wanting to get away from her family. So she can also have a fresh start of a loving actual family." Bertram says as Jessie nods her head at what he said. She finally understood why Samira was here all day. She just thought that she was a friend of one of the kids. But now she actually understands it.
"Well, now I'm actually glad I got this job. So I could help her with her life. Thanks for telling me Bertram." Jessie says as shockingly he hugged her and she hugged him back.
"Your welcome." He says with a soft smile as he got up and went to his room.
