CHAPTER THIRTY

"Okay, enough about my sex life that I don't have right now."

IT WAS CURRENTLY 3:42AM AND CASSANDRA WANTED TO DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE. Helena's loud cries pierce through the rooms as it jolts the couple awake. Cassandra groans, wanting to put a pillow over her head but even that didn't drown out the noise. Luckily she had gotten up last night so she didn't have to leave the comfort of her bed. Instead, she turns to Klaus who was still snoring next to her as he tried his best to ignore the sounds. "Nik. It's your turn." Cassandra says before kicking him so he almost fell of the bed. Klaus opens his eyes, a loud groan leaving his lips as he looks at the girl. The past week had been peaceful except for the baby in the household. Silas had been killed by Stefan who had gotten his memories back and had taken his anger out on the now witch. It wasn't like anyone was sad or angry, the only thing was that amara also died, meaning the other side was gone and everyone over there with it. So her mom was gone. But Cassandra couldn't feel any grief towards that.

"You don't have to push." He grumbles at her as he slowly sits up, rubbing his eyes a little bit. Cassandra only turns back around and closes her eyes, Klaus sighing as he stands up and makes his way to the door. Opening it, he is met with Bonnie who seemed to be going to Helena's room aswell. Bonnie sees him and gives him a soft smile.

"Go back to bed. I got it." She tells him, she had already been awake so she didn't want anyone else to have to wake up and help Helena. Klaus internally celebrates as he stares at the witch.

"Thank you." Klaus says before turning back to his room and shutting the door. He makes his way over to the bed, Cassandra furrowing her eyebrows as she could still hear Helena crying.

"Our baby needs you." Cassandra says as she throws the pillow at him, hitting his chest as he was too lazy to catch it. Klaus climbs back into the bed, crawling on top of her basically as he settles back down.

"Bonnie's handling it."Klaus explains as he presses a soft kiss to her shoulder. Cassandra sighs as she feels his arms wrap around her.

"Our daughter is so cute when she's not screaming her head off in the middle of the night." Cassandra states making Klaus nod his head, his eyes still shut but his mind still didn't shut off because of all the noise that was evading their ears.

"And stopping us from having a sex life." Klaus adds making Cassandra groan a little bit as she knew he was becoming restless everytime she denied him.

"It's been a week, Nik." She says but he only kisses her neck, wanting some type of relief but Cassandra often was too exhausted to do anything with him.

"The longest week of my life." Klaus states, moving his hand down her body but she only stops it, scrunching up her nose a little bit.

"Noo, I'm too tired." Cassandra complains as she pushes his shoulder lightly, her eyes closing again. "Jack off if you need it that badly." She mumbles to him before moving so she was laying on top of him making him groan a little bit.

"Love, you're crushing me." Klaus tells her but she only grumbles a little bit, snuggling her head into his chest as she wanted to go back to sleep.

"You're comfy." She says as sighs, relaxing again but Klaus only moves her onto the bed making her groan a little bit.

"So is the bed." Klaus states making the girl nudge him lightly, her head drifting into the pillow. "You kick in your sleep. You're really a nightmare to sleep with." He explains to her making the girl open one eye but she couldn't find it in her to actually do something.

"I would slap you but I don't have the strength." Cassandra grumbles as she grips the pillow, still hearing Helena cry from the down the hall. "I hate vampire hearing." She says as she tries her best to block out the noise. Klaus sighs as he moves over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and putting his leg overtop of hers, hoping it would stop her from moving in her sleep.

"So do I."

CASSANDRA BEGRUDGINGLY MAKES HER WAY DOWNSTAIRS THE NEXT MORNING, her hair was in knots and she looked probably the worst that she ever has. She could barely sleep because Helena was crying all night and it was annoying everyone. Klaus was also pushing her whenever she had finally fell asleep but he was saying she was the one kicking him. Cassandra only ignored him most of the time. Klaus had to deal with their daughter and the freaking storm that he slept with, it was anything but peaceful.

Walking into the kitchen, she is met with Katherine, Caroline, Octavia and Bonnie who were talking amongst themselves until they say Cassandra walking towards them.

"Morning sunshine." Katherine says with a smirk as she watches Cassandra sit down, her whole body slouched.

"How are you so perky?" She asks as she couldn't understand how Katherine also  dying right now because Helena disturbed the whole house.

"I was smart and bought ear plugs. I was also nice and bought you some." Katherine explains as she places them in front of the girl. Cassandra only raises an eyebrow at her friend who rolls her eyes.  "Okay I already had them from when you and Klaus do your.. activities." Her nose scrunched up a little bit at what she said. Cassandra only looks at her confused, glancing around and seeing Octavia, Bonnie and Caroline all had the same face.

"We're not that loud." She grumbles but Caroline only laughs loudly as that was the biggest lie she has ever told.

"Any human could hear you from the front door." Caroline states making Cassandra roll her eyes, it's not her fault that Klaus knew what he was doing.

"What? I'm supposed to apologize that our sex is amazing?" Cassandra asks them as she wasn't about to have boring sex because they all were complaining about it.

"So is mine and Elijah's but you don't hear us unless you purposely listen in." Katherine explains but Cassandra didn't care if Elijah wanted to be modest, Klaus and her owned the House.

"Well, my bad."  She didnt sound genuine as she couldn't care less if they could hear Klaus and her have sex.

"You could also be more courteous to the people who sleep in the rooms near yours." Octavia adds making Cassandra squint her eyes at the woman. She knew she wasn't quiet but it wasn't her fault that they all decided to move in without asking.

"Wha--" she starts to say but she wasn't about to let them walk all over her. "if you guys have a problem with it, move. It's our house." Cassandra tells them with a shrug as she rests her chin in the palm of her hand but Katherine only rolls her eyes.

"When you do it, it lasts forever." Katherine grumbles as the couple seem to go on for hours whenever they decide to have sex which annoys everyone in the house.

"Okay, enough talk about my sex life that I don't even have right now." Cassandra mumbles as she rubs her eyes a little bit. Octavia raises her eyebrows as she looks at the girl.

"Klaus is withholding sex?" She asks, not thinking that they were even capable of going two days without pouncing on each other.

"No, we have a newborn baby remember?" Cassandra points out as she could feel her body shutting down again, needing something to keep her awake.

"Just get a couple quickies in." Katherine suggests with a shrug making Cassandra shake her head as that took too much energy too.

"I'm too exhausted." Cassandra admits as she rests her head on the counter. Katherine smirks a little bit but it disappears when she sees the guys come into the kitchen.

"What are you girls talking about?" Kol asks as he sits down next to bonnie and wraps an arm around her. Klaus and Elijah also make their way over to the counter, Helena being carried in Klaus's arms.

"Just girl stuff." Bonnie answers discreetly as her eyes move to Cassandra who was almost passed out. Klaus moves towards her, nudging her hand with a glass but she only groans.

"It's blood." Klaus tells her but she only shakes her head, not caring for it right now as all she wanted was some sleep.

"Noooo." She mumbles as she lifts her head but she didn't seem to have much energy inside of her.

"Don't you want to see Helena?" He asks her as he gestures to their daughter which was peacefully in his arms. Cassandra turns to face him, her eyes landing on Helena.

"Hi, angel." Cassandra says as she pinches her daughter's cheeks but not before noticing that Klaus was trying to move the baby towards her. "I will drop her." She tells the man as he tried to give away his daughter. Klaus only sighs as she keeps Helena in his arms, cradling her. Cassandra waves at everyone before laying on the couch and closing her eyes, needing a few more seconds of peace and quiet.

CASSANDRA'S EYES WERE SHUT AS SHE WAS IN THE BATH, it was one of the only peaceful moments that she could get so she was taking full advantage of it. She rests her head along the edge of the tub, her fingers gripping the sides. A feeling of lips pressing against her neck makes her smile as she opens her eyes, seeing Klaus above her. "Mm, hi." She says as she tilts her head so he could place a kiss on her lips. Their lips move together softly before he pulls away from her.

"Relaxing are we?" Klaus asks and she nods her head, sitting up as she smirks at him, her eyes moving down his body a little bit as he takes off his shirt.

"Very much so." Cassandra says as she plays with the water, biting her bottom lip as the man meets her eyes.

"Can I join?" Klaus questions and she nods, her hands moving to his waistline. He chuckles as he pulls off his pants, his boxers following before getting into the tub behind her. Cassandra sighs as she moves back, leaning against his chest.

"I can't believe we won. I mean, sure the other side is gone but Silas is dead." Cassandra explains as she can feel Klaus run his hands up her thigh. "We have nothing to worry about anymore." She says making the man smile at her as he leans his head down. He takes the champagne glass that she had set beside the bath and takes a sip.

"Cheers to sweet, sweet victory." Klaus says as he moves it to her lips pouring some in. Cassandra smiles as she keeps their eyes connected, pulling away and connecting their lips, the liquid being shared between them.

"It really is sweet." Cassandra states when she pulls away from him and Klaus only kisses her shoulder, a sigh being let out when he pulls her back against him, his hands going to lift her hips. "This is a relaxing bath, Nik." She teases him as she knew what he was trying to do, she could feel him hard against her back.

"Then let's get out and have some fun." Klaus whispers as he kisses her neck, his hand going between her legs as he grinds against her. Cassandra moans for a moment but she only shakes her head.

"Noo, I want to relax." Cassandra says as she denied his suggestion. Klaus sighs as he lets his hand slip back into the water.

"Okay, love." He gives in as he settles behind her, planting soft kisses along her back. Cassandra smiles as she leans against his chest before tilting her head so their eyes were locked.

"I don't think many people would like us if we had fun. Apparently we're too loud and inconsiderate." She explains to him making Klaus roll his eyes lightly as he rubs her thighs. He didn't care if people heard them, they were in their bedroom.

"It's our house." Klaus states making Cassandra nod her head with a smile as she knew he would say the exact same thing that she did.

"That's what I said." Cassandra replies making Klaus smile at her, leaning down and connecting their lips in a soft kiss. She giggles, turning around to face him as she deepens the kiss a little bit. Suddenly the door is pushed open then Bonnie strolls in unannounced. "Bonnie!" She scolds with a sigh as she pulls away from Klaus who only rests his head on her shoulder.

"Sorry, um. I thought you were in here alone." Bonnie apologizes as she moves her eyes away from the couple who were naked in the bathtub.

"It's okay. What's up?" She asks as her legs wrap around Klaus, bringing him closer as she settles into his arms. Bonnie didn't want to disturb the peaceful couple but she couldn't exactly feed Helena herself.

"Helena's hungry." Bonnie tells her making the girl groan out as she hides her face in klaus's shoulder.

"Bonnieee." She whines and the brunette holds up her hands in defense as, if there were something she could do she would.

"I'm sorry." Bonnie says as she sees the girl frown, pulling back to look at Klaus who was only smiling. "Do you want me to bring her to you?" She asks but Cassandra only shakes her head as she grabs the towel from beside the tub.

"No, it's okay." She admits as she stands up, wrapping the towel around herself. Leaning down, she plants another kiss on klaus's lips. "Wait for me here." Cassandra says and he only nods his head as he watches her get out and walk after Bonnie. Cassandra throws on a shirt and shorts before going into Helena's room where Bonnie was waiting.

"I've been meaning to ask if you're okay." Bonnie says once she sees Cassandra making her way over to her. Cassandra only furrows her eyebrows as she leans over the crib.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" She asks, looking at Helena who was a little antsy because she wanted to be fed.

"Just.. you opened the door twice." Bonnie tells her but Cassandra only ignores her, instead playing with her babies fingers.  "Are you at least going to tell Klaus?" She asks as she thought the man deserved to know what had happened.

"Why do I need to? The doors shut again." Cassandra says as she didn't see the need to tell Klaus about it. It was over anyways.

"But what if--" Bonnie tries to say but Cassandra didn't let her. She wasn't about to let some what ifs, dictate her life when she was perfectly fine.

"No what ifs, I'm fine." Cassandra says as she picks up Helena, glancing at Bonnie who had a frown on her face. "Now, you can leave unless you want to watch me breastfeed." Bonnie sighs but turns around and walks out, not wanting to debate with someone who obviously wasn't going to listen. "I'm fine, aren't I Helena." Cassandra says with a smile as she looks at the girls eyes. Helena only giggles, looking up at her mother. "Yes I am." She whispers but Cassandra didn't even know who she was trying to convince. Bonnie.

RETURNING TO THEIR ROOM, Cassandra notices that Klaus was sitting the the chair, not even glancing up whenever she came in. Her eyebrows furrow as she makes her way over to him, the man continuing to stare at the floor. "Nik?" She says, his eyes flickering up to her for a moment before he scoffs and shakes his head. "Hey, what's wrong?" Cassandra asks, wondering what could have possibly happened in the short time that she was gone. Klaus only clenches his jaw, meeting her eyes and she could tell that he was mad about something.

"You used your power?" He asks, standing up from the chair making her falter for a moment, her eyes widening. Cassandra clears her throat, shaking her head.

"I don't know--" Cassandra begins to deny making him scoff again as Klaus couldn't believe that she was trying to find an excuse like he hadn't just heard her.

"Oh, skip the theatrics. I heard you talking with Bonnie." Klaus snaps at her making Cassandra sigh as she rubs her face, she had just finished with Bonnie, she didn't need him talking about it too.

"Look, it's not a big deal." She tells him and he only shakes his head, not understanding how she didn't see the severity of this issue.

"Right, so you were never going to tell me?" He asks as he crosses his arms against his chest, raising his eyebrows expectantly at her but she didn't have the answer he wanted to hear.

"I-i-- was I just didn't see the point." Cassandra admits and she knew that didn't exactly de-escalate the situation. "Bonnie's back, I survived and the magic is locked back up." She explains, everything was fine so there was no point in fighting over this.

"But what if you hadn't been strong enough, huh? What would you have done then?" Klaus asks her as he stares at her, seeing her deflate for a moment.

"I don't know.." She answers as she moves her eyes to the floor for a moment as she never really thought that far ahead.

"Yeah, because you don't think! You just do whatever you want not thinking of the consequences." Klaus snaps at her as his anger takes over, he didn't care anymore, he needed her to know that it was wrong.

"Are you seriously talking to me about consequences?" Cassandra wanted to laugh because he was the last person in the world that she would ever listen to regarding this.

"You shouldn't have done it." Klaus tells her as he crosses his arms against his chest and she couldn't believe that he was here telling her this when there were plenty of times that he did whatever he wanted when she told him not to.

"Then Bonnie would be dead!" She yells back at him as she didn't want Bonnie to suffer, the whole reason the girl even died was because she wanted to bring Kol back.

"How many times did I tell you not to and you just do it anyways? You never listen." Klaus says and she only grips her head, he wasn't seeing the point.

"Well, I'm glad I didn't because I was right! I handled it!" Cassandra was fed up by him and how he always seemed to blame her and never trust her on anything.

"If it went wrong you could've killed you and our baby!" Klaus shouts as she didn't seem to care about the baby whenever she was risking herself to bring Bonnie back.

"But it didn't." Cassandra says bluntly as it was very obvious that everything turned out fine. "Nik, can we just move past it? It's over." Cassandra pleads as she didn't want this to become a huge thing. She brought back Bonnie and she was fine, he couldn't just let it go.

"Yeah until another problem pops up and you open the door again." Klaus points out making her roll her eyes a little bit as it was obvious that he didn't trust her.

"I'm not going to--" Cassandra begins to deny but Klaus knew that was bullshit. She had already promised that and here she was opening the door multiple times.

"Yes, you will!" Klaus shouts at her making the girl clench her jaw as she rolls her eyes a little bit.

"Fine, I would. If it meant my friends live." She says as she wasn't about to let her friends die when she knew there was something she could do about it.

"What about yourself? You have a child! Do you want her to grow up motherless?"Klaus wanted to make sense of her words but all he could see was that she was being selfish.

"Of course not!" She yells as she could feel the anger bubbling up inside of her. But she thought of their daughter that was probably stirring from the noise. "Can we just not fight? It's gonna wake her." Cassandra tries to be civil but it seems like Klaus had different plans.

"Yeah, fine. End the conversation."Klaus snaps with a roll of his eyes making her groan a little bit as he was obviously not going to let this go.

"I'm not ending it Nik, just let's wait until the morning." She tells him with a sigh as she rubs her face, not wanting to fight anymore.

"It was just so incredibly reckless." Klaus mumbles making her scoff a little bit as she turns to meet his eyes again. He couldn't just let this go for once?

"I know, okay? I'm sorry, is that what you want to hear?!" She screams at him making Klaus roll his eyes as he turns away from her.

"I don't want to hear another thing come out of your mouth. Just stop talking." Klaus snaps at her and she only grabs his arm and forces him to turn and look at her.

"Make me." She challenges and she could see something change in him, his eyes going dark. Klaus suddenly has her against the wall, his hand wrapped around her throat as he grips it tightly.

"You wanna test me, huh?" Klaus asks, his voice harsh as he bangs her against the wall making her gasp a little bit as she stares into his eyes. "You're gonna learn some respect." He sneers as he moves her to the bed and roughly ties her hands to the headboard. Cassandra only stares at him with lust filled eyes, watching him strip her. Klaus sits back, his eyes raking over her.

"Please, touch me Nik." She whispers as she sees the glint in his eyes, a smirk forming on his lips as he leans over her, his hand hovering over her thigh before he moves his head down.

"I don't think I should." Klaus teases as he kisses her inner thigh for a moment before leaning back. Cassandra squeezes her eyes shut, whines leaving her mouth.

"Fuck, please." She breathlessly says as she meets his eyes but he only raises an eyebrow at her, a smirk playing on his lips as he loved to see her beg for him.

"Use your words, baby." Klaus tells her as he runs a hand up her thigh. Cassandra whimpers as she tries to close her legs around it but he moves it out everytime.

"I-i--" She croaks out, her back arching for a moment, her hips jolting up. "Fuck me, please." Cassandra begs as she meets his eyes, pure lust and desire in them. "God, please!" She tries again and this time he flips her around so she was on her knees, her hands pulling against the bind. Klaus grips her hips, his gaze boring into the back of her head. Roughly thrusting into her, he earns a surprised moan from her before Cassandra smiles a little bit, glad that he was finally doing something.

"Nik!" She screams out as he begins to fuck into her fast and deep, cassandra griping the  rope around her wrists.  "Oh, right there!" Cassandra praises as she feels him hit her spot, but it only causes Klaus to smirk as he purposely slows down a little bit to tease her. "Please!" She begs as the pleasure was too much and too little at the same time. Klaus fastens his pace again but he made sure he didn't hit the sweet spot that she wanted him to. "Oh, harder!" Cassandra pleads, her voice full of desperation as she tries to move back against his thrusts.

"What was that love?" Klaus teases her as he increases his pace, causing her to scream out louder, their bed hitting the wall so hard that it looked like it was going to break.

"Please, fuck me harder!" Cassandra begs him, her hips going back towards him to meet his thrusts. Klaus smirks at her before doing what she asked making her gasp out. "Just there! Ohhh, right there." She praises him as she feels him hit the spot that she needed him the most.

"Now, will you disrespect me again." Klaus asks as he moves his hand up her back and she only whines as she shakes her head. Klaus only grips her hair, lifting her up so she was flesh against his stomach, she whimpers as she feels the loss of motion. Roughly slamming her back down, he slaps her ass causing her to gasp out. "What was that?" He questions as he slaps her again making her cry out a moan.

"No!" She screams out as she could feel tears running down her cheeks as he slaps her again. Klaus smirks as he deepens his pace, his nails digging into her lips.

"Good girl." He replies as he sees her putting her face in the pillow, her moans muffled by the fabric. Klaus only grabs her hair, pulling her head back. "Don't do that love, I want to hear your screams." Klaus tells her as he roughened his pace, clenching his hand around her throat making her let out a loud moan.

"Faster! Please, oh my goddd!" Cassandra begs as she cries out, feeling him fill her up all the way. Klaus does what she asks, leaning down towards her.

"Tell me what you need love." Klaus says into her ear as he kisses her lobe. Cassandra whines, meeting his thrusts as she could barely get two words out.

"I need you deeper." Cassandra purrs as she leans her head back a little bit but suddenly he pulls out of her making her eyes open, staring at him. Klaus flips her so she was laying on her back, his eyes raking down her. "No, please! I was so close." She whines as she yanks at the binds on her hands, her legs clenching around him as he moved between her legs.

"I know, love." Klaus says as he presses a kiss to her shoulder, thrusting into her roughly again as their eyes connect. "I wanted to see you." He tells her as he continues to thrust into her deeply, the sounds neverending from her mouth.

"Nik!" Cassandra pleads as she felt him increasing his pace, his hands gripping into her hips. Klaus kisses her, their mouths moving together but Cassandra gasps. "Oh, god, yesss!" She arches her back, her eyes squeezing shut as a loud moan leaves her lips, her orgasm flashing over her. Klaus smirks as he gets her through her high before groaning as he came inside of her, sighing a little bit. Cassandra whines as she pulls at the binds on her wrists.

"I think you were a bit too loud, love." Klaus tells her as he rolls off of her, his hand rubbing her thigh a little bit as she still breathed heavily from her orgasm. Cassandra giggles as she turns her head to look at the man who was untying her hands.

"I can't stop myself." Cassandra replies with a smirk as she places a kiss on his lips. Klaus chuckles into the kiss before bringing her close to him and holding her. Cassandra sighs as she melts into his touch although her mind can't help but go to the fact that she was lying to him. And he didn't know. She didn't want to but she knew that his main focus would be on her and she didn't want to do that to Helena. So she would continue to hide it, even if it killed her.

"SO, THE RED OR THE BLUE?" Cassandra asks as she stares at Nathan who was sitting on the bed, bored out of his mind. She was holding up a blue lingerie set as she wore the red one, wondering which one was better to wear for Klaus as they were different styles. Nathan sighs as he looks at the girl, not seeing why he was the one who was being asked this question. "I thought having Caroline and Octavia and Katherine and basically everyone else you wouldn't ask my opinion on lingerie anymore." Nathan complains as he watches the girl glare at him a little bit, holding the blue set closer to him. Nathan only groans as he rests his chin in the palm of his hand.

"You're a guy. And plus you've been doing this our whole friendship so suck it up." Cassandra tells him making the man roll his eyes as they flicker back and forth between the two choices. Nathan rubs his face before landing on the red one which she was wearing, shrugging his shoulders a little.

"The red." Nathan says although he didn't seem enthusiastic about it. Cassandra sighs as she stares at him, knowing he wanted to be anywhere else. "Are we done?" He asks with a groan as he wanted to go do something and not be stuck in here talking about fashion.

"No." She states as she places the lingerie down with a sigh, turning back to him. "If I tell you something, promise it goes no farther." Cassandra says as she stares t the man who falters for a moment, staring at her.

"Okay.." Nathan trails off suspiciously, watching as she moved to sit next to him, putting a blanket over her lap. He was scared about what it was since she seemed to be serious.

"I've been having problems." Cassandra says and Nathan raises his eyebrows, his eyes going back to the lingerie she had placed on the chair.

"If this is about sex I think we all know you're not having problems." Nathan tells her, chuckling lightly making Cassandra squint her eyes at him.

"No, not with that idiot." Cassandra grumbles at him as she slaps his shoulder lightly. "With my emotions." She adds and that catches him off guard as his eyebrows furrow a little bit.

"What?" Nathan asks, confused as to what she was saying as he didn't know what she was trying to tell him exactly. Cassandra sighs as she rubs her face, knowing she had to go into more detail.

"Ever since I turned them back on, it feels like I'm empty. Like I still can't feel anything." Cassandra explains as she fiddles with her fingers, she knew Nathan would never judge her which is why she was confiding in him.

"You felt a lot earlier." He mumbles but once he saw the glare she was giving him, he clears his throat. "Okay, sorry." Nathan apologizes quietly as he knew it wasn't the time to be making jokes. "So, anything?" He asks, trying to get her to go into more detail because he still didn't really understand what she was trying to say.

"Like I can feel physical feeling but not emotional. Not grief, anger, sadness.." Cassandra trails off as she knew how bad that sounded but it was obvious that her humanity was still on because she wasn't completely off the rails.

"Why didnt you say anything?" Nathan asks her as he puts his hand on her upper thigh but she only sniffles, shrugging her shoulders as Cassandra didn't want to keep this from everyone, but she had to.

"I didn't want anyone to worry. Ive been faking it." Cassandra answers as she glances down at her hands, knowing that he was scolding her for not saying anything sooner. But she couldn't. Everything would be about her and they didn't need that right now.

"Cassandra, you shouldn't do that." He tells her with a sigh as he shakes his head. The problem was that he didn't even notice that something was going on with her because he was too busy being focused on Caroline and that made him hate himself.

"Please don't tell anyone." Cassandra begs as she could see the thoughts flickering around in Nathan's head. He couldn't believe that she was really asking him to hide something like this from everyone.

"Cassandra--" Nathan begins to deny as he didn't want this to be a heavy burden on him but she doesn't let him say anything, she couldn't because he was the only one that could convince her to say something.

"Promise me, Nathan." Cassandra grabs a hold of his hands, looking at him as she pleads at him. Nathan stares back at her, his eyes flickering to their hands as he was having a mental battle. He didn't want to betray her trust but he also didn't want to lose her. Nathan knew Cassandra needed him to promise, but what would happen if she one day became the divine and he could've stopped it. He would never be able to forgive himself. But she needed that reassurance. She needed him to promise her nobody else would find out. Even if it wasn't true.

"Okay, I promise."
