CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT
"Can you see me?"

SHE GROANS AS SHE ROLLS OVER, pulling the pillow over her head. All she could hear was Amara's constant screams from the basement and it made her want to rip off her ears. Cassandra groans loudly making Klaus glance over at her curiously to see what was going on. "You okay, love?" The man asks as he notices her position on the bed. Cassandra shakes her head as she couldn't stop hearing Amara because of her vampire hearing.

"All I can hear is crazy pants downstairs." She mumbles making him laugh lightly before hovering over her body, taking the pillow off of her head. Cassandra looks up at him with a pout and Klaus only smirks down at her.

"We can drown out the noise." Klaus suggests as he plants a kiss on her lips, moving his hand down her body. Cassandra only pulls away from him, shaking her head as she couldn't do that with a crazy girl screaming her head off.

"I'm tired." She groans, pushing him away lightly as he only chuckles at her. Cassandra rolls onto her side, closing her eyes but she feels Klaus place his hands on her hips to bring her back towards him.

"Let me pleasure you then love." Klaus says as he moves down her stomach, planting kisses before pushing her underwear down. Cassandra gasps as she feels his lips against her, her thighs clenching.

"Nik..." She catches his attention and his head peaks up to glance at her. Cassandra pulls him up on top of her and he smiles down at her. "I love you." Cassandra looks into his eyes, really trying to believe it, to trick her brain. Klaus lifts his hand, stroking her cheek.

"I love you too." Klaus says as she smiles at her, not seeing the false nature behind her eyes. It killed her that he didn't seem to realize what she was going through. Elijah had his suspicions but Klaus was with her so often and he didn't even notice. He goes to lean in towards her but she only clears her throat, sitting up making him glance at her curiously.

"Can I ask you something?" Cassandra asks him, a frown settled on her face. Klaus sits up next to her, a worried expression in his eyes as he rubs her back a little.

"Anything." He tells her but before she can open her mouth they hear a large commotion downstairs. Cassandra and Klaus share a look before rushing downstairs to see what had happened.

"What is going on down here?" Cassandra asks as she got them to stop arguing. Katherine only crosses her arm, glaring at Damon who sheepishly turns to look at Cassandra.

"Amara. She's gone." He tells them making their eyes widen wondering how he could let that happen. "If Silas gets to her.." Damon trails off as he noticed Cassandra had stormed off. Kol follows her, walking behind her into the bedroom as he closes the door behind him.

Cassandra makes no efforts to talk to him as she collects candles around the room and sits down in the centre. Bonnie had appeared next to Kol, watching as Cassandra was doing something but she couldn't understand what she was trying to do. Kol only glances at Bonnie because his eyes were glued to Cassandra.

"What is she doing?" She asks curiously as she stares down at Cassandra who was putting candles around her. It didn't take a genius to figure out what she was going to do. Silas had broken their deal and was never going to bring Bonnie back. Cassandra wasn't going to let her get washed away with the other side.

"She's bringing you back." Kol says, looking down at Cassandra who had her eyes closed. Bonnie's eyes widen as she snaps her eyes to Kol who had made no attempt to stop the girl.

"No." Bonnie says with a shake of her head as she steps in front of Kol who only sighs. "I'm not letting her potentially get consumed my darkness just to bring me back." Bonnie dismisses, crosses her arms against her chest. No matter what she did for Kol, she wasn't going to risk Cassandra and her baby just to bring her back. She wouldn't allow it. But she had no power to stop her.

"I can't exactly stop her." Kol responds as he knew when Cassandra set her mind on something, she didn't let anything get in her way.

"Snap her neck, do anything! She's pregnant for God's sake Kol." Bonnie snaps at him, angrily glaring at her boyfriend. Kol sighs, his jaw clenching a little.

"Are you done talking to her?" Cassandra speaks up causing Kol to look over at her. "She died bringing you back. She didn't have to do that. I don't have to do this but I want to." She explains to both of them, knowing that Bonnie was listening in too.

"If Nik finds out.." Kol trails off, knowing the hell his brother would raise if he found out she used her powers, let alone to bring somebody back from the dead.

"He won't." Cassandra states as she raises an eyebrow at the man who only sighs. Bonnie goes in front of him, giving him a pleading look.

"Kol. Please. We can find another way." Bonnie begs, not wanting anything to happen to Cassandra since it didn't go great for her when she brought Kol back.

"Cassandra." Kol looks back at the woman who was only ignoring him. "You--" He tries to say something but the candles light up, Cassandra had already opened the door.

"Vasmotos matos enanimo." She starts chanting as she allows the power, not holding back as she knew she had to use it all for Bonnie to be able to come back to life. "Vasmotos matos enanimo" Kol glances at Bonnie, his hand reaching for hers and she takes it, he could tell she was worried after what had happened to her when she had tried to break the laws of nature. "Vasmotos matos enanimo." Cassandra says and at that moment, Kol could feel her squeeze his hand making his eyes snap to hers and he could tell they she was thinking what he was.

"Bonnie!" Kol gasps as he could feel her touch making her eyes widen for a moment as she didn't think this was actually real.

"Vasmotos matos enanimo." Cassandra felt the power consume her for a moment as she clenches her fists together. "Vasmotos matos enanimo!" Suddenly everything goes dark and Cassandra falls to the ground, her eyes closing. Kol's eyes widen as he rushes towards her, his hands picking up her head.

"Cassandra. Hey, hey." Kol says as he shakes her, noticing the blood trickling down her nose. "Cassandra, please wake up." He pleads as he feels tears prickle his eyes as he continues to shake her. Cassandra groans, her eyes opening lightly as she meets his worried eyes.

"Kol." Cassandra says softly making him let out a sigh of relief that she wasn't dead and he didn't just lose another person.

"Oh, thank god. You're such an idiot." He mutters at her, nudging her shoulder making her roll her eyes a little bit as she stands up. "Are you.. you?" Kol asks hesitantly and Cassandra nods her head, not feeling the magic in her anymore.

"Yeah. I put it back inside." She assures him but he was still very skeptical. Bonnie didn't care at the moment through as she smiles at the girl.

"Can you see me?" Bonnie asks and cassandra looks into her eyes making Bonnie's heart stop for a moment. "You did it." She said it in an almost whisper as she didn't expect it to work and for Cassandra to still be standing. Bonnie suddenly pulls the girl in for a hug, gripping her tightly.

"Hi Bonnie." She says with a smile once they pull away from each other. Bonnie smiles back at her but it disappears when she notices the pained expression on the girls face. "Oh, my god!" Cassandra groans as she feels something stab her. She looks down, seeing blood on her hand as she touches her stomach.

"Cassandra?" Kol asks as he leans his hand to her, catching her so she didn't fall. Cassandra only screams out as she felt the pain in her stomach making Bonnie touch her, feeling what was happening to the girl.

"It's Qetsiyah. She's dying." Bonnie announces as it was the only thing that could explain what was happening and Cassandra only nods, agreeing with her. She felt herself getting stabbed but she knew it was actually Qetsiyah.

"W-hy--" Kol stutters as his eyes were staring wide eyed at the woman who had blood seeping through her shirt.

"I'm still linked to her Kol." Cassandra mumbles as she gasps, closing her eyes and Kol knew instantly what she was going to do.

"Cassandra, if you open that door again." Kol didn't want her to be too vulnerable that the divine takes advantage of her but she didn't seem to care about it for a second.

"I'm not letting my baby die." She tells him, using her power to try and unlink herself from Qetsiyah. Bonnie looks at Kol worriedly, both of them not liking this one bit. Suddenly Cassandra gasps as she grips her stomach, feeling a sharp pain.

"Cassandra?" Bonnie asks as she bends down and that's when she noticed the pool of water around her feet making her eyes widen."Oh, my god." She gasps, her head snapping to Kol as he also noticed what had happened. Cassandra groans, squeezing her eyes shut as she held onto her stomach.

"What the hell happened?" Katherine asks as she walks into the room with everyone following as they had heard the commotion coming from upstairs.

"I think she is going into labor." Bonnie tells them and they have to do a double take, their eyes widening as they see the Bennett witch. No one has time to question it as Cassandra screams loudly.

"I think we've established that." Cassandra says as she yells out, gripping her stomach as she noticed Klaus bending down next to her.

"Wow, I've never heard her scream like that since the mikaelsons ball." He jokes but his smile diminished when he saw the glare set in her eyes as she couldn't believe he was trying to be funny right now.

"You do not get to make sex jokes right now, or ever because we are no longer bed buddies." Cassandra says with a groan as she stands up, squeezing his hand tightly making Damon make a pained expression. Octavia's eyes snap towards them as she finds out this new information.

"Wait, you slept with Damon? When did you-- don't walk away from me!" Octavia calls out after her, her face in shock as Damon hadnt mentioned once that he slept with a person who she thought of as a sister.

"I'm in labor, octavia!" Cassandra screams back at her as she continues to walk with the help of Damon and Klaus. Octavia blushes lightly before rushing after them. Cassandra meets Klaus's eyes, Klaus giving her a soft smile. They knew it was time for their baby to be born. But to be honest, Cassandra was terrified. If she couldn't even feel anything for Klaus, what would happened when her baby came?

this is a filler chapter so sorry for it being short. I also now have school five days a week on top of work but I'll try to update when it's possible 🙂
