"But he needs the cure to become a witch."

CASSANDRA FELT ARMS WRAP AROUND HER WAIST AS SHE STOOD OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO CONNECTED TO THEIR ROOM. She leans back against him, knowing it was Klaus just by his scent. Klaus places a soft kiss on her neck as his fingers rub her stomach a little. "You didn't come to bed last night, love." Klaus says, waking up to nothing next to him as Cassandra had stayed in Kol's room the entire night. He wasn't complaining, he knew his brother and Caroline both needed someone right now. He was just curious.
"I was with Kol and Caroline." She tells him as she plays with her fingers a little bit. "Everything I had thought about.. my gut feelings. They were all true." Cassandra explains to him as she shakes her head, knowing she should have been more worried than she was. "Bonnie's dead." She mumbles and Klaus only rests his head on her shoulder.
"You couldn't have known." Klaus says as he rubs her back but she only shakes her head as she turns to face him.
"She's dead, Nik. I'm the only one with Qetsiyah who can get rid of Silas." Cassandra says to him but he only sighs, shaking his head as he wasn't about to let her sacrifice herself.
"No." Klaus states, denying that there wasn't any other way to get rid of the immortal.
"Bonnie gave up her life to bring Kol back. She gave me my best friend back and she's gone and Silas is winning." Cassandra explains to Klaus who only hears her side but he also knew that Bonnie wouldn't want her doing this. "I have to do this for her." She says, trying to leave his embrace but Klaus only keeps her there.
"She wouldn't want you killing yourself for her either." Klaus interjects and Cassandra is about to argue with him before Damon comes bursting uninvited into their room.
"She doesn't have to." Damon says making them both stare at him curiously but Klaus was still glaring at him for interrupting them. "I need to ask you a hypothetical..." He trails off because it wasn't a hypothetical at all.
"What is it?" Cassandra asks as she turns her body to face him completely. Damon hesitates, not knowing how she'll feel about his idea.
"Say.. we can bring Bonnie back using the same person who wants to die. The universe needs balance right?" Damon asks and Cassandra knew exactly what was asking and it was like the most nuclear plan ever.
"You want to work with Silas?" Cassandra asks as she raises an eyebrow at the man like he was crazy. She thought she was making all the bad decisions recently.
"Not necessarily. Call it an alliance. He takes the cure, we do a spell that brings Bonnie back to life whenever he dies. Is it possible?" Damon asks as he needed her to say yes because if there was even a small chance of getting Bonnie back, he needed to take it.
"I guess so but he won't want to die until he can pass on." Cassandra answers him as she shares a curious look with Klaus who was also thinking that Damon was insane.
"Yeah that's the tricky part but hypothetically, could we bring Bonnie back to life using Silas's death?" He needed Cassandra to actually answer without making it into another question.
"I guess so." She says and that's all he needed to hear as he nods his head.
"Great. Thanks." Damon says before making his way to leave but he only peaks his head back into the room, pointing his finger at her. "Don't do anything stupid." He tells Cassandra before leaving them alone, Cassandra rolling her eyes as she jumps into klaus's arm. The man smiles down at her before kissing her head.

CASSANDRA SAT NEXT TO KLAUS AS THEY LAUGHED IN THE LIVING ROOM, hearing Octavia explain how Nathan was absolutely petrified after walking in on her and Damon in bed. Katherine walks in, her eyebrow raising as she sees the group bursting in laughter. Cassandra only stops, her eyes squinting as she glances out the window. Something didn't feel right. "Are you alone?" Cassandra asks her but Katherine only furrows her eyebrows, looking behind her. Cassandra only hears a branch snap outside making her speed out and grab whoever was trying to sneak up on them. Throwing her down in the middle of the living room, she grabs a stake and makes it so it almost hits her heart but not quite.
"You again?" Katherine asks as she finally sees the face of the person who was apparently hiding outside of their house. Cassandra raises an eyebrow at her as they knew each other somehow.
"Again, you know her?" Cassandra asks and Katherine only sighs as she rolls her eyes.
"Shes been stalking me apparently for five hundred years." She answers making everyone a little bit confused. Not only did she have Klaus chasing her but apparently someone else was too.
"What?" Caroline asks, a little bit confused as she was leant against Nathan who was keeping his grip firm on her since that was how she controlled herself after finding out about Bonnie.
"Yeah, ever since we ran from Klaus." Katherine states as she glances at Cassandra who was staring at the woman holding the stake that was piercing her chest.
"Who is she?" Klaus asks curiously as he never saw the woman once in his lifetime searching for katherine.
"I don't know she won't tell me." Katherine mumbles, shrugging her shoulders. She felt Elijah's hand on her shoulder and immediately smiles back at him.
"Having trouble getting that out? I grazed your heart on purpose." Cassandra tells her as she bends down to squint her eyes at the mystery woman who only chuckles.
"Which means you don't want me dead." Nadia says with a smirk, glancing at Katherine who only rolls her eyes a little bit.
"No, you're gonna tell us who you are and then I'll decide." Cassandra says as she crossed her arms against her chest. Nadia only groans, feeling the wood scape against her heart everytime she breathed.
"I want to know why you made up that fake story about your mom." Katherine admits as she bends down in front of Nadia who only raises an eyebrow.
"It was a test. You failed." She tells her making Katherine scoff as she shakes her head.
"I knew it was a fake story. By 1645, we'd been running from Klaus for a century and a half. There's no way any of his minions would have mistaken anyone for me." Katherine explains to her and everyone knew she was right. There was no way anyone captured someone knowing it wasn't Katherine. "But you know how my brain works, right? So you must have known that I wouldn't have fallen for that sob story." She sneers at the woman who only chuckles a little bit, a smile forming on her face.
"I wanted to get under your skin, it worked. Because here you are." Nadia says but before she can say anything else, Katherine pushes the stake deeper into her chest.
"What kind of sick game are you playing?" She asks making Nadia groan but shake her head a little bit.
"It's not a game Katherine. You did kill my mother. Only it wasn't in Paris, it was in a little cottage in England." Nadia explains to her making Katherine squint her eye as little bit. "And it wasn't 1645..." She feels the stake get pushed in deeper but she still continues. "It was April 6, 1492." She finishes making Katherine's eyes widen as she stares at the girl in front of her.
"Im not following." Elijah says, his eyebrows furrowed as he looks at Katherine who seemed to have a million different emotions running through her eyes.
"Oh, my god." Cassandra gasps out a little bit as her brain finally clicked. That was the day they started to run from Klaus. The day Katherine turned herself into a vampire.
"She was all alone. Egged out by her family two years earlier." Nadia starts seeing the tears form in Katherine's eyes. Caroline only meets everyone else's confused eyes, glad she was not the only one out of the loop. "She waited for her friend to leave her side... Then she stuck her head in a noose, pushed her off the chair and snapped her neck." She finishes with a glare set in her eyes. Katherine clenches her jaw as she stares at Nadia.
"Who are you?" She shakily asks, already knowing the answer but she just had to hear it out loud.
"My name is Nadia Petrova." She introduced herself making multiple gasps and shocked faces appear around the room. "And you are my mother." Nadia says with a scoff as Katherine only slowly stands up, shaking her head. Cassandra notices her friends behaviour, reaching out her hand to her.
"Kat--" She starts but Katherine only rushes out of the room. Cassandra sighs before her eyes flicker to Nadia. Bending down, she take she stake out of Nadia's chest. "You turned into a vampire just to hunt her down?" Cassandra asks the woman who only sighs as she shrugs her shoulders.
"I wanted answers." Nadia replies and Cassandra only turns around, noticing that Elijah was starting to go in the direction that Katherine went.
"Elijah.." she catches his attention and he only stops to gaze at her curiously. "I'll go." Cassandra tells him before moving past him and going to find Katherine who was huddled up in her bedroom.
"Kat." She says softly and Katherine only turns to her, her cheeks flooded with tears. "Oh, Kat.." Cassandra walks over and pulls her friend into a hug. Cassandra sighs as she rubs the girls back.
"I-i-- never thought I would see her. We looked everywhere and--" Katherine stutters, not being able to finish a word without sobbing.
"I know. But she's here now." Cassandra points out making the girls teary eyes meet her. "And you ran away." She says making Katherine sigh as she rubs her face a little. She was scared that Nadia came all this way just to kill her. I mean, she got abandoned and her mother wasn't exactly the nicest person.
"Can you be there with me." Katherine asks as she sniffles and Cassandra only nods her head, holding her hand.
"Of course." Cassandra replies and Katherine takes a moment to compose herself before they walk back into the living room where Nadia was waiting.
"I have one question." Katherine starts, catching her daughter's attention. "Where were you in 1498?" She questions, moving away from Cassandra a little bit.
"I don't know, I was 8, why?" Nadia replies bluntly, not seeing what that year had to do with her mom leaving her.
"Because by 1498, I'd escaped. Ditched the people who were chasing me and I found my way back to Bulgaria." Katherine explains to her and Nadia's eyes fill with tears as she stares at her. "Cassandra and I searched every village, every cottage but we couldn't find you." She says, her voice cracking a little bit and Nadia only smiles lightly.
"You went back?" She asks, grateful that she cared enough but after that Katherine didn't seem to even look back.
"Yes, Nadia. I went back for you." Katherine admits making the girl feel a tear drop down her cheek. Katherine only moves closer to her before holding out her hand. "It's nice to meet you." She says and for once in her life she was sincere as she gave a soft smile towards her daughter. Cassandra gestures at everyone to leave the two alone.
"Did you know?" Elijah asks as they make their way towards the kitchen and Cassandra glances up at him.
"That she was alive?" She asks and Elijah nods his head a little. Cassandra sighs before shaking hers, truly not knowing that Nadia even existed anymore. "I'm glad she is though." Cassandra admits as she could feel Klaus's prying eyes on her.
"So, you knew her for two years prior to when we met her?" Klaus questions and she only looks at him, not going to apologize for keeping Katherine and her baby safe.
"Her family shunned her. She lost her baby. I just wanted to let her grieve." She admits as she glances down at her hands but Klaus wasn't mad at her. He would have killed her whether or not she was pregnant. He knew who he was, was wrong and horrific. But Cassandra saw past that, he didn't know how or why but she did. And he wasn't going to let her slip through his fingers.
β’Β°β’Β°β’Β°β’Β°β’Β°β’Β°β’Β°β’Β°β’Β°β’Β°β’Β°β’
HER EYES ALMOST BURST OUT OF HER HEAD AS SHE STARED AT THE OUTFIT KATHERINE HAD SHOWN HER. She didn't know whether the girl was joking or not. Cassandra ran her eyes down the clothes, her face trying to remain neutral. It wasn't horrible it just did not suit her at all, like she should burn it. Her hair was slicked back in a ponytail and she was wearing a long black dress that went down to her calve. It looked like she was a nun. Cassandra blinks for a moment, her eyes scanning the girl as she saw the pearls around the girls neck as well.
"I knew you were changing your look.. but this.. wow." She trails off as she couldn't even find the word to describe it. Katherine only sighs, knowing if Cassandra didn't approve then she was doing something horrible wrong.
"Help me." Katherine pleads but Cassandra couldn't even tell why she had decided to dress like this in the first place.
"What are you doing?" She asks confused as she only stares wide eyed at Katherine who groans, tilting her head back.
"I'm trying to be more modest for Elijah." She answers making Cassandra raise her eyebrow a little bit.
"Yeah, I can see that." Cassandra says with a slight laugh before sighing a little. "Kat, if he loves you. He doesn't care about how you dress." She states, knowing if Elijah cared at all what Katherine dressed like, he wouldn't have started dating her.
"I know but I wanted to do this for him." Katherine says, frowning a little as it seemed like he was doing all these things for her and she wasn't giving anything to him in return.
"That's very sweet of you but this... Is not your look." Cassandra tells her truthfully making her groan as she immediately pulls her hair out of the ponytail.
"You have to help me then." Katherine pleads making Cassandra nod her head as she still stares at the outfit.
"Fine, just please take that off." Cassandra says as she grimaces at the outfit one more time. Katherine smiles as she starts to take off the dress while cassandra searches through her closet. Finding a red skirt that was fitted but went a decent length down the legs and a black long sleeve shirt that had a semi-deep collar, she holds the outfit out to her.
"Thank you." Katherine mumbles as she takes the clothes making cassandra laugh before picking up her phone which was blowing up with messages. She was just surprised they were all from Damon. He was frantically telling her to come downstairs and that she had to be the one to do it because he couldn't go through with it.
Katherine comes back out, dressed in an outfit that was actually suited for her. Cassandra furrows her eyebrows before looking at Katherine who only stares back at her confused. The girl only grabs Katherine's hands and takes her downstairs.
"Damon, what's so --" Cassandra cuts herself off as she sees the desiccated body of the immortal laying on their couch. Everyone was around it, all of them waiting for Damon to explain himself. "is that Silas?" She asks and he only nods his head in response.
"Yep."Β He says as he lets an emphasis on the end of the word.
"Why--how." Nathan asks as he squints at the man, not fully believing that he was half dead right now.
"Qetsiyah." Damon only responds as he moves his eyes over to Cassandra. She only knew what he was texting her when she saw Elena walk into the house. Damon wanted Cassandra to feed the cure to Silas, making Elena be killed. She now knew why he was saying he couldn't do something.
"What are you doing?" Katherine asks curiously but her eyes only flicker to her shadow self who had waltzed into the house, a confused face as she was met with everyone's stares.
"Elena?" Caroline asks as she furrows her eyebrows, watching the girl stare at Damon for a moment before looking at Caroline.
"Um hi?" She replies, almost in a questioning manner. "Damon said we needed to talk?" Elena states making everyone stare at the man who wasn't making eye contact with anyone.
"What are you two planning?" Elijah asks as he kept noticing the glances between Cassandra and Elijah. Cassandra only takes a step away from Klaus, looking at the doppleganger.
"No hard feelings Elena." She starts making Elena's eyes flicker to her, she knew Elena was still made for Cassandra having killed her brother but she could care less right now. "But he needs the cure to become a witch." Cassandra says with a shrug making Elena's eyes widen a little.
"What?" Elena asks and before anyone could do or say anything, Cassandra speeds over and bites into her wrist causing her to let out a scream. She speeds them to Silas, putting her wrist against his mouth.
"Cassandra!" Octavia yells, she didn't know Elena and she didn't like her after hearing everyone talk about her but she didn't want Cassandra to kill somebody for Silas of all people. Cassandra doesn't turn to her, instead biting into Elena's neck before pulling away.
"No, please. He needs all of it! I'll die." Elena begs as she stares into Cassandra's eyes but she saw nothing. Not even a fraction of regret or guilt. "Please." She tries again but cassandra only lets out a sigh.
"I'm sorry." Cassandra states before moving her head down at pushing it towards Silas's mouth. Elena screams as she feels the man feed from her. Cassandra holds her down, her eyes not meeting anyone as she didn't want them to see that she didn't feel guilty for having to kill the girl. She didn't know if she would have even if she could feel. Silas grabs the girls head making Cassandra step back, watching as Elena's blood is drained from her body as she hits the ground with a thud.
