CASSANDRA GIGGLES AS SHE IS LIFTED INTO THE AIR, hands holding her thighs as her back presses against the shower wall. Water pours down the two bodies as they share steamy kisses, moans escaping their lips. Mason moves his head to place kisses down her neck, earning a satisfied sound from the girl. Her hands pull at his hair, trying to connect their lips again. Cassandra places a heated kiss on his lips before she tugs on his bottom lip, pulling away for a moment.Β
Mason notices her eyes start to shift as he moves his hand up to push the hair out of her face. It wasn't uncommon for her to shift during their intimacies, sometimes she did it on purpose, other times she just hadn't fed enough that day. Mason understood and that's why he had blood stored in his car for her. "Are you hungry?" He asks her as his eyes search over her face. Cassandra only nods as she puts her hands on his cheeks.
"Katherine finished off my meal yesterday and I just didn't get enough." She pouts, batting her eyelashes at the man who only chuckles as he pecks her lips before tilting his head making Cassandra immediately brighten up.
"Go ahead." Mason tells her earning a smirk from Cassandra as she leans forward, connecting her lips to his jaw, moving them slowly down his neck before letting her fangs descend. Mason kept on going as he felt her sink into his skin. He grips her tightly, a groan leaving his lips as the blood starts to flow down her throat. He rests his head on the shower wall as Cassandra moves it slightly to the side to gain better access. It wasn't the first time she's drank from him so it was pretty normal for him. After a couple more seconds she pulls away, the blood dripping down her chin as she moans at the taste. The water washes away the remaining blood on Mason's body as she uses her finger to wipe the blood on her chin. She sucks it off her finger as she meets Mason's eyes. Cassandra gives him a smirk as she leans in to kiss him again.
"Who is Katherine anyways?" Mason asks as he pulls away from the kiss causing Cassandra to sigh as she runs a hand slowly through his hair. She smiles lightly at him as she gazes into his eyes.
"You don't need to be concerned, I just need your pretty head focused on finding the moonstone." She states as she places kisses on his jaw making Mason sigh as he allows her to knick his skin once more, blood spreading down his neck. Cassandra sucks at the skin, licking up the red substance.
"I'll look when I go to my brother's funeral at the house." He assures her making Cassandra pull away from him with a look of remorse. She never mourned family, mainly because she didn't really have one. Her mother died giving birth and her father was a deadbeat. No siblings. No family but herself. That was until she met Abigail Jennings, the woman she trusted with her life. The woman who killed her.
Cassandra snaps out of her thoughts as she moves her eyes up to look at Mason. She knew he cared for his brother, not much but he was still family.Β "Do you want me to go with you?" She questions as she rubs his arm, a warm smile on her face. Mason only raises his eyebrows, a smile breaking out on his face.
"I didn't think funerals would be your scene." Mason jokes with a laugh causing the girl to smirk as she wraps her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her.
"Oh, I have a scene?" Cassandra teases with a giggle as she licks her lips. Mason smirks at her as he presses a quick kiss to her lips. "Really though, are you going to be okay?" She asks him as she tilts her head a little. Cassandra cared about Mason, just not in the way that he wanted. Not that he knew that.
"Yeah, my brother always was a bit of a dick. But if you want to tag along, sure." He shrugs his shoulders, not really caring if she came or not because he didn't really need to introduce her to his family.
"You're just going to have to get your nephew to somehow invite me in." Cassandra mutters with a sigh as she knew she had never been to the Lockwood mansion before, therefore she can't enter.
"Don't worry, they invite everyone in individually for these types of things." Mason assures her as he lets the water run down his body. Cassandra admires him for a minute before her expression turns into a scowl.
"Good. I hate the stupid rule of having to be invited in. It's bugged me for centuries." She grumbles as she runs a hand through her wet hair. Mason laughs at the girls frustration before his face turns serious.
"What will happen once I get the moonstone." Mason asks her as he furrows his eyebrows, a curious expression forming on his face as he leaned closer to her. Cassandra freezes, unsure how to answer the question since she was only pretending to like him to get the moonstone from him. Before she can answer, she is cut off by her phone ringing causing her to jump slightly.
"Sorry." She apologizes with a frown before pulling away from his grasp to grab her phone. Cassandra wraps a towel around herself as she picks up her phone, answering the call. "Hello?" Cassandra says as she lifts the phone to her ear. Mason clenches jaw as he gets out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist. He glances at his girlfriend who was standing a few feet away from him.
"Sweet cheeks, we need you to find out what Katherine is up to. You two were close in 1864 so I'm guessing she still trusts you." Damon points out as he drinks a glass of bourbon. Elena and Stefan were with him, wanting to know if Cassandra was in Katherine's good graces.
"Hello to you too, Damon." She responds sarcastically as she rolls her eyes. One day. One day without the Salvatore's was all she asked for. "Katherine has her walls up, I hardly think she's going to open up just because it's me." Cassandra lies as she looks in the mirror at her reflection, wiping the dried blood that had dripped onto her neck.
"Can you at least try? You're like our secret weapon." He teases with a smirk playing on his lips. Cassandra internally groans knowing that Damon wont let it go. She also hated all the nicknames he had for her and even though she has told him to shut up before she rips out his throat, he doesn't seem to get the message.
"I liked sweet cheeks better, at least I wasn't referred to as an object." Cassandra mutters as she picks at her nails, Mason glancing at her curiously as he dried off. Damon looks at Stefan who only raises his eyebrows, wanting to know if she would do it. "Katherine only cares for herself Damon but.. I guess I can try and get her to talk." She tells the raven haired man who silently praises her. Cassandra was annoyed by the Salvatore's always using her to do their bidding but until she could get them out of the picture, she had to deal with them.
"You're the best." He states in a cheery tone that only makes Cassandra roll her eyes at the man's tactics. She lets out a sigh as she leans against the wall. "Oh and Elena wanted me to tell you to stop by later tonight." Damon adds as he stares back at Elena who gives him a light smile. He had no idea why she wanted to hang out with Cassandra so much but he honestly didn't care since he knew the vampire would never hurt her.
"Yeah, sure." She sighs before hanging up the phone. Elena always tried to get her to hang out with her and her friends but it wasn't exactly in Cassandra's things to do. All she needed was to make sure nothing happened to the doppleganger but Elena had different plans. She didn't know that she was only a pawn for Cassandra but she wanted to get to know the girl, especially if she knew Stefan and Damon in 1864.
"Can I please know who Katherine is?" Mason pushes as he wraps his arms around her waist. He knew she was holding things back from him but he didn't want to push, she was way older and stronger than him.
"Patience, darling." Cassandra teases as she taps Mason's cheek, a smirk playing on her lips. Mason squints his eyes as she brushes past him and walks into the bedroom, leaving him standing alone.
She knew she could trust Mason and even if he knew who she was he wouldn't say anything but she couldn't have word getting out that her and Katherine were still friends. The only reason she is still in the loop with the Salvatore's is because she lied about it. Cassandra told them that she hadn't heard a word from Katherine and had no idea why she was back in town.
That was a lie. Katherine was in town because they needed to find the moonstone plus she missed Cassandra dearly. They hadn't seen each other in about five years although they kept in touch over the phone. Katherine usually didn't keep people around but she owed her life to Cassandra and also thought of her like a sister. They both knew that when Klaus comes to Mystic Falls they are both as good as dead but Katherine had a plan to change that.
Besides, Klaus may be angry but Cassandra will always be his true love and nothing could change that.

CASSANDRA WALKS TOWARDS THE LOCKWOOD MANSION, her arm interlocked with Mason's. She was wearing a blue bodycon dress with matching heels, her hair simply curled. Cassandra let out a sigh as she grimaces at the people around her. People were crying, talking, laughing, all different emotions floated around. She could see Damon out of the corner of her eye and she knew he was watching her. "I've always hated funerals, they are so depressing and people are so emotional." She complains with a scowl as she looks up at Mason who was trying to hold in his laugh.
"I told you funerals weren't your scene." Mason tells her making her push him slightly, a laugh escaping her lips. "And those emotional people are usually the ones grieving." He states with an amused expression causing her to shrug her shoulders. Cassandra purses her lips as she glances around once more.
"I never mourned family so I don't get why people cry so much." She says as she scrunches up her nose, feeling repulsed by all the fake people who were acting sad even though they probably didn't like the guy.
"That's because you had a crappy family." Mason tells her making her let out a soft laugh as she lifts herself up, her lips brushing against his skin.
"Like yours was much better with your dick of a brother." Cassandra whispers into his ear, not really caring if anyone heard her but she didn't want to make people hate Mason. Mason playfully rolls his eyes as he wraps an arm around her waist.
"So the black sheep returns." Tyler announces when he notices them walking up the steps. A smile forms on Mason's lips as his eyebrows furrow, glancing at the dark haired boy.
"Tyler?" Mason asks, somewhat shocked at the teenager standing before him. Tyler nods his head as he raises his eyebrows. "What happened to you? In my mind you're twelve years old." He jokes with a laugh causing Tyler to smile lightly.
"Well that's two years older than the last time you saw me, uncle Mason." Tyler corrects him making Mason stare at him for a second, letting the awkwardness fade away.
"Come here." Mason says as he pulls Tyler in for a hug. Cassandra smiles lightly, although she never had a family it was nice to see others reunite. "It's good to see you." He adds with a laugh causing Tyler to smile.
"Yeah, it's good to see you too. Hey, I've seen you around before." Tyler says confused as he stares a Cassandra.
"I've been around for a couple months now. I'm Cassandra." She explains causing Tyler to nod his head as he has seen her hang around the Salvatore's a lot.
"Tyler. But you knew that. How do you know my uncle Mason?" He asks as he looks between them. Mason glances at Cassandra while clearing his throat. Tyler's eyes widen as he realizes what they were. "Oh. Oh! Wow, this uh-- it's nice to meet you." Tyler says as he holds out his hand which Cassandra reluctantly takes.
"Likewise." She tightly smiles at him as she kicks at her feet. Mason clears his throat as he waits for Tyler to invite her inside.
"Well, come on inside." Tyler says causing Cassandra to smile before stepping over the threshold. Mason follows as they begin to walk inside of the house.
"I hate meeting family members." Cassandra grumbles as she remembers meeting Klaus's family. Klaus. Even after all these centuries she still thinks about him. After trying to forget him, trying to rid him from her life.. he always finds his way into her thoughts.
"You had to be invited in somehow." He states the obvious as he kisses the girl on the head causing her to let out a sigh.
"Did you notice how awkward that was?" Cassandra asks as she turns her head back to Tyler who was greeting more people. Mason chuckles slightly as he brings her closer to his side.
"You need to learn how to socialize." Mason jokes as he glances around the room. He noticed multiple people looking at them but he only thought it was because he was new in town or because Cassandra always caught the eye of everyone.
"Well, I usually eat the people I socialize with ... So." She jokes half-heartedly even though it wasn't that much of a joke. Mason squeezes her hip as he smiles down at her. "Is she coming this way?" Cassandra asks as she notices Carol Lockwood making her way over to them.
"That's my sister-in law." Mason tells her making Cassandra shake her head before going in the opposite direction.
"Nope, you're on your own." She whispers to him before disappearing from his view. Cassandra let's out a sigh as her eyes scan the surrounding area. She was just ready to stop playing house but she couldn't until she got the moonstone which at this rate will be never.
She pouts as she tries to find someone else to talk to that wasn't a human. Cassandra squints her eyes when she notices the familiar doppelganger although it was quite obvious which one it was. Elena rarely changed her plain straight hair so seeing her curly was the biggest sign that it was indeed, Katherine Pierce. Cassandra rolls her eyes, grabbing a glass full of whiskey before making her way over to the brunette who was pretending to be Elena.
"You are so obvious." Cassandra says as she leans in towards the girl in front of her. Katherine tenses at the voice but instantly relaxes.
"I fool everyone that doesn't know me." Katherine shrugs her shoulders with a sigh as she turns to face the girl. Cassandra rolls her eyes, knowing she was going to get too used to playing Elena.
"What are you doing here?" She asks curiously as she crosses her arms. Cassandra didn't need Katherine screwing anything up because she wanted to mess with Elena's life.
"I wanted to come." Katherine pouts before her signature smirk forms on her face. Cassandra shakes her head, a light smile playing on her lips before she moves closer to the brunette.
"So Damon called me earlier, he wanted me to see what you were up to." Cassandra tells her quietly as they glance around to make sure no one was listening into their conversation. Katherine raises an eyebrow at her as she tilts her head slightly.
"What did you say?" She asks, knowing they had to play the part of mortal enemies though. Cassandra let's a hand run through her hair.
"I said I'd try but you don't open up easily. They can't know we're friends or else they won't trust me." Cassandra explains as the doppleganger nods her head, agreeing at the plan. They had to get what they needed and the only way they could do that is if they have someone on the Salvatore's 'side'.
"Yeah, just make up something and-- Salvatore's three o clock." She cuts herself up as she gestures to the brothers who came into their vision. "You really think I trust you? Just because we used to be best buds? If you want to be the Salvatore's little spy, go ahead but it's not going to be that easy." Katherine hisses as she pushes the girl up against the wall, her hand clasping her throat. They glare at each other for a moment before Katherine let's her go, walking away from her. Cassandra wasn't affected by the violent move but she acted like she was. She sighs before meeting the eyes of the Salvatore's. Damon beckons her over so she walks over to them.
"No luck?" Stefan asks as the girl stops in front of them. She only rolls her eyes as she puts her hands on her hips. Cassandra could see Damon eyeing her up and down and right now, she could not be bothered by his gaze.
"What do you think? She's Katherine." Cassandra replies as she takes Damon's drink from his hand and takes a sip from it.
"Try again." Damon presses making Cassandra scoff as she gives Damon a serious look. He only shrugs his shoulders, not seeing why she couldn't just talk to her again.
"It's not that easy, Damon. She doesn't trust me. Not anymore." She edges them on as they both glance curiously at her, wanting to know exactly why Katherine wouldn't trust her closest friend anymore.
"What happened between you two? You were so close in 1864." Stefan states, remembering how they all laughed together. How Katherine and Cassandra seemed to be glued to the hip, never seeing one without the other.
"She died. Or at least I thought she did." Cassandra answers in a stern voice, she needed them to stop asking so many questions because at some point she is going to slip up. And she could not let that happen.
"She didn't contact you after she escaped?" Stefan questions curiously, he knew they were close so it was very doubtful that she and Katherine were on the outs. Cassandra glares at the Salvatore's with the most deadly look she could muster.
"If I knew what she was going to do, I would never have visited in 1864 in the first place. I risked my life for her and what do I get in return?" Cassandra lies with a scoff as she shakes her head, her eyes moving to Katherine who was obviously listening to the conversation while talking to Matt. Damon sighs, they all knew Katherine only looked out for herself.
"What do you mean risked your life? How long have you known her?" Stefan asks as he furrows his eyebrows. When she had come to mystic falls he thought they had only known each other for a couple years at the most.
"Let's just say I've known the human side of Katerina Petrova." She responds in a low voice causing both Salvatore's to stare at her in surprise. They now realized that when Katherine told them she was a 'dear old friend' she was not kidding.
"I noticed you are touchy with the new guy, Mason Lockwood." Damon says deciding to change the topic onto the man she was seen walking into the house with. Cassandra brings her glass up to her lips as she tilts her head.
"So?" Cassandra finishes off her drink as she gazes at them. Damon rolls his eyes as he waves his hands in the air. The older vampire only stares at him patiently.
"So, his brother was not human. The Gilbert device affected him but not the vervain. I thought you'd know something." Damon explains with a shrug as he stares at her. Cassandra doesn't budge under his gaze as she raises an eyebrow at him.
"He's not a vampire or witch if that's what you're asking." She responds as she crosses her arms across her chest. Damon finishes his drink and goes to pour another one as Cassandra holds up a glass. He eyes her for a minute before filling it up.
"He's something." Stefan states making her let out a breath, shrugging her shoulders. Cassandra was told by Damon about mayor Lockwood and it didn't take long for her to tell Mason what happened.
"I couldn't tell you. And no I'm not going to ask him either." Cassandra answers their question before they even ask. Damon only rolls his eyes as he crosses his arms. "You two figure it out, get solid evidence and then I may help you. Until then leave my relationship out of this." She tells them as she taps their shoulders. Damon sighs as he glances at her suspiciously, there was no way she didn't know what he was.
"Maybe I should change your name to grumpy." Damon teases with a smirk causing a glare to form in her eyes. Stefan hit his brothers arm, knowing they shouldn't piss the vampire off. She was older and stronger than them.
"I don't do funerals." She mutters before pushing through the Salvatore's making their eyebrows raise as they share a look. They didn't know what was wrong with her but they needed to know if she was really on their side. Cassandra was Katherine's closest friend in 1864, it seemed weird that they just stopped talking after she faked her death.
Katherine giggles as she plays football with the two Salvatore brothers. They were taking it easy on her but they both knew her secret. They were both aware she was a vampire. She gasps as Stefan grabs a hold of her waist, a bright smile on her face.
Her fun is short lived though when Emily Bennett interrupts them. Stefan let's Katherine go as they turn to face the witch that was walking towards them. "Miss Katherine." She calls out making Katherine sigh as she lets go of Stefan's hand. "You have a visitor." Emily states with a small smile making Katherine tilt her head curiously. No one was supposed to know where she was, she had no idea how anyone found her.
"Who is it Emily?" Katherine asks in a polite tone. It's then she sees a dark shadow behind the witch. Her eyebrows furrow as she tries to see who it was. Stefan and Damon stand behind Katherine, unknowing to the older vampire near them. "Cassandra." She gasps out as she finally sees the face of the woman walking towards her.
"So this is where you have been residing for the past couple weeks." Cassandra says as she glances around, a smirk on her lips. Katherine gives her best smile but she knows her friend is beyond angry with her, not returning any of her messages that she had a witch send Emily. "I have been trying to find you." She points out with a sigh as she stops infront of the woman. Katherine gulps as she shakes her head.
"My apologies, I have been a bit distracted." Katherine says as she glances back towards the Salvatore's causing Cassandra to clench her jaw as she grabs the girls arm.
"It is not time for distractions." Cassandra hisses as she digs her nails into the girls arm making Katherine glare at her, a pained gasp leaving her lips.
"Miss Katherine? Is everything okay?" Stefan asks curiously as he takes a step forward towards the pair. Katherine puts on a smile as she turns to face him.
"Everything is perfect, Mr Salvatore. Cassandra is a dear old friend." Katherine assures the dirty blonde who shares a glance with his brother. Cassandra didn't trust them too much but if Katherine did then they weren't too bad.
"Ah, your distractions... I see." She says in a careful tone as she squints her eyes a little. Katherine rolls her eyes a a little but smiles to put on her act for the brothers.
"Stefan, Damon. This is Cassandra Harrington. She is my bestest friend, so I shall expect you to treat her with the same generosity as you treat me with." Katherine explains to the brothers who both eye the girl before nodding at the information. Cassandra didn't have much time to stay but she had to convince Katherine to leave with her.
"Of course, miss Katherine." He replies with a nod before walking over to the girl with a smile on his lips "It is a pleasure, miss Cassandra." Damon says as he takes the girls hand and places a kiss on it. Cassandra smiles at him, letting out a light laugh.
"Please, none of the miss's, it makes me feel old." She jokes with a smile causing the two brothers to smile politely back at her.
"Damon, will you escort her to a room she can stay in?" Katherine asks the man who was staring at the girl with love. Cassandra saw it, she saw how both of the brothers looked at Katherine. She didn't know if Katherine compelled the boys or not but the kind of love that Damon looked at her with was not fake.
"Right away." Damon says as he smiles towards Cassandra, holding out his hand, awaiting for her to take it. She stares at it for a moment before her eyes move back to Katherine.
"This is why you are staying in this ratchet town?" Cassandra questions in disgust as she stares at her friend. Never once did she peg Katherine for a human lover.
"Do you blame me?" Katherine asks her with a raised eyebrow causing Cassandra to sigh as she fixes her dress a little, shaking her head.
"No I suppose I do not. But we need to move, Klaus is near." She whispers to the girl who physically tenses at the spoken name. Katherine glances back at Stefan before turning back to her friend.
"How do you know?" Katherine asks curiously, fear laced in her tone because she needed more time to accomplish what she had to.
"I have my sources." She vaguely states as she glances around, watching the people walk around her before her eyes land on the Salvatore's. "They look rather tasty." Cassandra can't help but lick her lips at the thought of indulging them, feeling their blood rush down her throat. She had been quite hungry on her way into the town and hadn't had a chance to grab a bite.
"Please, have a taste. They are quite delicious. In all ways." Katherine tells her in a dreamy voice causing Cassandra to gasp as the younger vampire giggles, biting her lip. Stefan and Damon were only patiently waiting for the two women to be done of their talk.
"You naughty woman." She teases as she eyes up both the Salvatore men. Both human. Both so innocent. She felt kind of bad for them as she knew Katherine was going to take away that innocence soon enough.
"Go ahead, take Damon for a spin." Katherine tells her with a smirk making Cassandra roll her eyes but smile nonetheless. She glances over at Damon who was patiently waiting for her before grabbing a hold of his hand and following him into the Salvatore house.
Cassandra sighs as she glances away from the brothers, walking down the hallway away from them. She knew Katherine had been feeding them blood although she is not sure how they were killed. She had fled the town long before Katherine faked her death.
Elijah mentioned that Klaus was near so that's why she visited Katherine in 1864. She needed to get the doppleganger far away but the girl had turned stubborn so she left without her. It wasn't until she learned of what happened that she figured out why Katherine didn't want to leave. She wanted to make sure Klaus thought she was dead.
A arm grabbing her causes her to stop thinking as she meets the eyes of Mason who pulls her into a seperate room away from everyone. Cassandra had no idea what he wanted but as he closed the door behind them, she looked at him expectantly. "What are you do--" Cassandra is cut off by him putting his finger on her lips. She glances at him confused, not sure what he was up to.
"Shh." Mason whispers with a smirk before he connects their lips. She pulls back in surprise as she glances to the door she was brought through.
"There's people here! And you have something to do." Cassandra tells him with a raised eyebrow as she tries to push him away but Mason only grips her hand, pulling her closer to his body.
"Come on, when have you ever passed up an opportunity for scandalous sex?" Mason's breath hits her neck making her close her eyes. Cassandra vampire speeds them to a wall, pressing him against it as her lips smash against his. Their lips move together as Mason lifts her onto the desk, pushing up her dress as his hands slip underneath it. She lets out a moan as she rips his shirt open, her hands roaming his skin. Mason moves his lips to her chest, pushing her strap down.
"Oh, god! We're sorry." A voice screeches causing the pair to pull away from each other. Cassandra breathes deeply as she turns her head, meeting the eyes of Elena and Tyler. She rolls her eyes as she gets down from the table, pulling down her dress and readjusting the straps.
"That is an image I never wanted to see." Tyler mutters in disgust as he grimaces at the image of his uncle making out with someone. Mason clears his throat as he fixed his shirt, glancing at his nephew.
"Sorry, I was just looking for Stefan." Elena explains with a sheepish smile as she watches the vampire fix her hair. Cassandra sighs as she rests her head against the wall.
"He was with Damon last time I saw him." Cassandra tells her as she crosses her arms. Elena nods her head, silently thanking her before leaving the room. Tyler only raises his eyebrows at the couple, a smirk playing on his lips.
"At a funeral?" He questions jokingly before leaving the two of them alone. Mason chuckles as he moves to pour himself a drink. Cassandra vamp speeds him against a wall, causing the glass to fall onto the ground.
"It's not funny." She sneers as they connect eyes. Mason rolls his eyes but groans when she slams his head against the wall.
"Oh, come on. Lighten up " He mutters as he pushes her lightly but she only flashes her fangs at him.
"I am not going to lighten up! Stefan and Damon were asking about you." She yells at him, her face going full vampire as her anger gets the best of her. It was always her weak point, she got angry too easily. "They wanted to know if I knew what you were." She states as he tries to her out of his grip but she only holds onto him tighter. "They found out that your brother wasn't exactly human and now they think you're not too" Cassandra tells him as she pushes his chest before pacing back and forth. Mason gulps as he stands up straight, looking towards the vampire.
"What did you tell them?" He asks with furrowed eyebrows. Mason knew about Stefan and Damon, he wasn't an idiot. But he'd rather not have them know he was a werewolf
"I said I didn't know." She replies with a stern gaze. Damon and Stefan are not going to let it go, she knows that for a fact. But she can't have them figure it out yet, not until she has what she needs.
"I'll sort it out just don't say anything." Mason says with a sigh as he shrugs her shoulders. Cassandra clenches her jaw as she hated him telling her what to do. She grips his arm tightly gaining his attention.
"You're getting distracted, you need to find the moonstone." She can feel herself getting angry as her hands clench. Mason didn't seem to get the seriousness of getting the moonstone and it did not sit well with Cassandra. Trusting Mason was one thing, but if he didn't get her what she wanted she was going to allow Katherine to do whatever she wanted with the werewolf.
"You're a good distraction." Mason teases with a smirk as he leans in to kiss her but Cassandra grips his shirt and pushes him into the desk angrily.
"This isn't a joke. You need to find it." Cassandra snaps, veins forming under her eyes as she glares at the man in front of her. Mason raises his hands in defence as a scoff leaves his lips.
Cassandra was a caring girl but if someone crossed her or didn't do as she asked, she never hesitated to end their life. That was one thing her and Klaus had in common. They kill the ones who ever crossed him.
"Okay, I will." Mason says with a nod but she only plunges her hand into his chest and grips his heart causing him to gasp. She looks at him with emotionless
"You better. Because I don't care how much you supposedly care about me. Fail." She leans forward so their faces are mere inches apart. Mason breathes heavily as he stares at her in fear.
"And I will rip your heart out."
