KOL STOOD IN FRONT OF CASSANDRA WITH A FAKE LOOK OF PITY ON HIS FACE. He shakes his head, raising an eyebrow at the girl. Cassandra didn't look too pleased to see him as she thought he had left her again. She was angry that he never even said goodbye, thinking that he would've at least had the decency. "This is just downright depressing." He tells her as he walks over from her. Cassandra rolls her eyes, not feeling up to his teasing.

"I thought you were going back to Denver." Cassandra replies unamused as she crosses her arms against her chest. She wasn't up for his company unless he said somewhat of an apology to her.

"I was. Now I'm not yet. Can't I come say hi to my lover?" Kol asks as he wiggles his eyebrows at her but her stoic face made him falter. Usually she would go along with him and even make jokes about them being inseparable but it didn't seem like she was in the mood.

"Why didn't you take me with you?" She asks accusingly as she squints her eyes, a slight glare on her face. Kol furrows his eyebrows for a moment, figuring that was what she must be so angry about.

"I thought you'd want to stay." He admits with a shrug, he would've thought his brothers would be the biggest reason for her staying in this wretched town. Maybe his calculations had been a little off.

"Not anymore. Take me far far away, Kol." Cassandra pleads before wrapping her arms around him. The original is taken aback for a second, not used to this type of affection from the girl. But then he hears her soft cries. A soft breath leaves his lips as he wraps his arms around her, pulling her into a tighter embrace.

"You can't run from your problems, darling." He says after a moment, pulling away from the girl in order to look at her. Cassandra sighs, nodding her head but that wasn't going to stop her from trying.

"I can for a couple more centuries." She points out, wondering if she just left right now, how many years she would have alone before one of the siblings ultimately caught up to her.

"What did my brother's do this time?" Kol questions, the girl never got like this unless it had something to do with Elijah and Klaus. He found it funny how they were always worried about him going off the rails but they were the two siblings who seemed to want to kill each other and practically created a girl who fed on humans to distract herself from them.

"Nik just keeps making the same mistake and I'm done giving him more chances." Cassandra tells him with a frustrated sigh, running her hand through her hair. Kol raises his eyebrows amused, there was no way that was the whole truth but he decided not to question it.

"You know he's inside as we speak, right?" Kol asks her, gesturing to the house that was less than twenty feet from where they were standing. Klaus could easily hear them if he wanted to listen in on their conversation.

"I don't care." She admits as she couldn't care less if he came out and heard their conversation, maybe that would make him think about what he said. "If he comes out here I give you full permission to rip out his heart." Cassandra says, nodding her head firmly making Kol laugh hard. He knew this was just a phase though, she and his brother had so many fights it was just natural to wait for the make up.

"I would do that anyways." Kol states as he shrugs, wanting every opportunity to kill his brother. He only had to do it a couple thousands times to make up for Klaus keeping him in a box for so long. "Do you want a fun night out?" He asks suggestively as he smirks at the girl who suddenly lights up, nodding her head eagerly. Anything to get away from Klaus would be a saviour.

"Please." She begs, knowing with Kol it would be one of the best nights ever because he never controlled her. He never made her be someone she wasn't, no matter what his siblings thought.

"Get changed." Kol tells her, motioning that her clothes weren't up to the standard. Cassandra meets his smirk, a dangerous expression on both of their faces as their eyes meet. It was a bad combo, Kol and Cassandra. Everyone though they were nuclear when they were together but Cassandra thought they were the ultimate team. Or better yet, the ultimate killers.

Her mind was fuzzy as she danced around the bar, in between multiple bodies as they moved until their bodies were going numb. Cassandra would sneak glances at Kol to see what he was doing but he was mainly feeding or grinding on a girl. Cassandra could feel bliss as she leant into the body behind her, letting them run their hands over her body before she turned to face them. Giving the small brunette woman a seductive smirk, she captures their lips in a kiss, tasting the cheap alcohol on her tongue. Cassandra moved her lips down to the girls neck, hearing the girl giggle before sinking her fangs in quickly. Her body reels in the feeling, loving the constant supply it had been getting for the past two hours. Kol had compelled the entire bar to go along with everything they did so there was no surprise freakout. So they had just been enjoying themselves, dancing around as they let the humans fill their hungry needs. The brunette drops to the floor after being drained, landing on top of the others that were scattered around.

Cassandra didn't know how many people she had drank dry but right now she wasn't interested in counting. Kol sends the girl a smirk, his fangs still out as they were hovering over a redheads neck. He waves her over making her walk over eagerly. Kol moves the hair off of the other side of the girls neck, creating access for Cassandra. The girl's eyes become devilish as she lets her fangs out again, moving closer to the girl who seemed in a daze. They both sink their fangs in, drinking the girls blood and letting it run down their throats. Kol moans, his hands feeling the girls body at the same time but making sure to keep away from potentially touching Cassandra because that would ruin his whole buzz.

The raven haired vampire pulls away after the girl loses a pulse, a laugh leaving her lips as she smirks widely. She lets her hands feel herself, closing her eyes for a moment as she feels all the blood course through her. Cassandra could feel herself losing absolute control of her body and usually shed fight it, not letting it take over but this time she didn't see why. She didn't want to stop. Turning around in search of another person, she bumps into a hard chest making a wicked smirk take over. Thinking it was another meal, she lifts her head hoping for a nice surprise but in fact it was quite the opposite.

"Elijah." Cassandra says surprised as she meets his eyes, her chest rapidly moving as heavy breaths leave her lips. Elijah looks over her appearance, seeing the dried blood on her skin but also the dripping redness coming from her mouth. Her dress was soaked, ripped slightly at the bottom from moving so much. "What are you doing here?" She asks as he hadn't made a move to say anything. Elijah only continues to stare at her, trying to understand the sight he was seeing. The girl had been worse at times but this time was different, it actually looked like she was enjoying herself. Usually there would be regret, fear in her eyes when indulging in humans even at a party. But this time, there was not a single ounce of that.

"I asked my siblings where you were and Rebekah mentioned she saw you head off with Kol. I added it up." Elijah explains to her after clearing his throat. Cassandra could feel him inwardly judging her. Of course he wouldn't like what she was doing but she didn't care, she was having the time of her life with Kol. Speaking of the man, he was just over by the bar watching the interaction while sinking his fangs in a pretty blonde. Kol half expected Elijah to drag Cassandra out of the bar against her will but he wasn't making any sudden movements.

"Are you here to join the party or are you here to take me home?" She questions with a sigh, putting her hands on her hips. Cassandra was trying to read him, wanting to figure out what he was thinking but the man was a closed book. Elijah didn't want her to continue down this path but he also didn't want to stick around and see this happen to her.

"That decision is yours, Cassandra." Elijah says as his jaw clenches, noticing the girl smirk. Cassandra was grateful he said that, not feeling like fighting him to stay. She just wanted to have fun for once but of course Rebekah ruined her party by talking to Elijah. The man was hoping Cassandra would willingly choose to leave but deep down he knew she wouldn't.

"Then I'm staying." She tells him with a shrug, expecting a rush of complaints but the man kept quiet. Cassandra took that as her cue to walk away from him, starting to enjoy herself again. Elijah sighs, shaking his head as he watched his brother drop another body.

Elijah watches her as she moves back into the crowd, dancing around with multiple people a smile on her lips. He only clenches his jaw as he notices Kol was not even trying to stop her from draining more bodies. Elijah would intervene again but Cassandra knew how to catch him off guard and he didn't want to be temporarily killed by her. So, instead he left the girl to it hoping that she would come to her senses before she got to lost to where she didn't even recognize herself.

Cassandra didn't want to think about Elijah or Klaus or anything for that matter. Not the messy situation she got herself into. Not the fact that her once so called best friend was trying to murder them all. Nothing that would put a damper on a otherwise fun mood. Tonight she just wanted to feel free. Feel herself. Because god knows she hasn't felt like that in a long time.

GLARING EYES BURN A HOLE THROUGH CAROLINE'S HEAD AS THEY WALK INTO THE SCHOOL GYM WHERE THE DECADE DANCE WAS OCCURRING. The blonde tried not to focus on them as she had her arms locked with her boyfriends but it was kind of hard when she knew the person looking at her could kill her for making her come to this type of event again. Caroline turns her head to meet Cassandra's deathly gaze, the girl didn't exactly look pleasant to be around. Tyler kept his mouth shut, not wanting to take on any of Cassandras wrath for himself.

"I can't believe you forced me to come to this stupid dance." She hisses at the girl, annoyance and anger in her tone as her eyes pan the room, seeing all the teenagers she had to suffer around. Caroline sighs, wrapping her free arm around the girl to pull her closer.

"I'm sorry but if you're leaving soon I wanted to hang out with you one last time." Caroline tells her as she bites the inside of her cheek. Cassandra softens up a bit but it didn't lighten up her mood. She didn't want to be at anymore high school dances or have to deal with sweaty horny teenagers all night.

"I feel like I'm intruding." Cassandra says, trying to come up with an excuse to make Caroline allow her to leave. But the girl was so bubbly and sweet that she of course was willing to share her boyfriend for the night if that meant Cassandra would stay.

"Don't. Tyler is happy to dance with both of us, right?" She asks Tyler, sending him a certain look as Cassandra looked away to try and find anyone else she could be around. The man clears his throat, shaking his head before shrugging his shoulders lightly.

"Yeah, I don't mind." Tyler tells the raven haired girl who didn't look too pleased with his statement. No offense to the man, but she didn't exactly want to dance with him although she didn't seem to have a choice as Caroline was going to force them anyways.

"Caroline, I don't want to crash your time here." Cassandra states as she crosses her arms against her chest, a frown placing itself on her face. She didnt want to pull the girls mood down by acting this way when it was supposed to be a fun night.

"You're not. I invited you." Caroline replies as she shrugs, grabbing the girls hand to give it a reassuring squeeze.

"I'm gonna grab us some punch." Tyler tells them before planting a kiss on Caroline's lips and leaving the two alone.

"Tyler doesn't care that you're hanging with us, Cassie. So you're staying." Caroline states firmly, not allowing her friend to leave as she was really the only one she wanted to be around other than Bonnie. Cassandra groans but nods her head, knowing it was better not to argue with the girl. Her eyes wander the room before landing on the last person she would one; not expect to see at a high school dance and two; want to be around.

"Did you know he was gonna be here?" She hisses at the blonde who turns her head confused but her face turns to one of shock when she sees Klaus walking around. He seems to spot them, beginning to make his way over to them. Caroline was surprised to see the hybrid but it wasn't too hard to put together why he was there.

"Well, Rebekah planned it so--" Caroline tries to explain but as Klaus got closer, Cassandra grew more wary as her once warm expression turned to one of anger and hatred.

"I'm gonna go help Tyler with the punch." Cassandra cuts the girl off before rushing off before Klaus could reach them. The man sighs, watching the raven haired girl walk in the complete opposite direction.

"What did you do?" Caroline asks in a demanding tone as she crosses her arms against her chest when Klaus reaches her. "I set you two up perfectly. The fancy date, the walk on the pier. You had her in your grasp and now poof, it's all gone." Caroline says as she makes big hand gestures to get her point across. Klaus stares blankly at her and she places her hands on her hips, trying to look intimidating.

"It didn't work out." Klaus states bluntly, not wanting to get into this conversation with Caroline because she would only turn the only thing on him and make him feel even worse than he already does.

"You are so full of shit." She hisses making Klaus send her a slight warning but Caroline pays no mind to it. "You did something." Caroline tells him but the man only rolls his eyes, glancing to the side as he would do anything to end this conversation. "You said something." She tries again, this time Klaus tenses, freezing In his spot for a second. This let Caroline know that he did in fact say something to piss the raven haired vampire off. "Of course you did. Because you don't know how to keep your opinions to yourself." She scoffs, shaking her head as she glares at Klaus who only lets out a groan. He hadn't even meant for her to hear, even then, he was talking about Finn.

"I didn't mean it about her at all. I was just talking about Finn." He mumbles, not wanting to meet the girls eyes as she was about ready to try and pop his head off. Caroline was very dedicated when it came to them that was sure.

"And how he was a lovesick fool?" Caroline asks as she raises an eyebrow at the man. He shouldn't be shocked, he should have known that Cassandra would tell her would be said. "God, do you know how that would make her feel? You practically told her that she's a burden on you because you think that no vampire should ever be tied down by love. You're making it seem that you're just playing her, Klaus." She says in a whining tone which would usually make Klaus amused but given the topic, he was anything but that. He glances down, feeling a weight on his heart as he listened to the girl.

"I didn't mean to." He admits softly, his eyes moving to where Cassandra was dancing with Tyler awkwardly.

"I know." Caroline says with a saddened tone, feeling awful for the original but there was no one else to blame but himself. "But now you may actually lose her forever." She finishes before letting her hand rub his arm. Caroline walks over to where she saw Cassandra dancing with her boyfriend, her eyes drifting back over her shoulder for a second noticing Klaus had disappeared. Sighing, she stops next to the dancing pair, earning their attention.

"Mind if I step in?" Caroline asks as she flickers her eyes between the two. Cassandra has no hesitation pulling away from Tyler who looked happy to see his girlfriend. He wasn't thrilled when she was talking to Klaus.

"Take good care of her." Cassandra tells him with a pointed expression but there was a slight smile on her face. Tyler nods his head, embracing his girlfriend.

"I will." Tyler says with a smile before starting to dance with Caroline who gives the girl a gracious expression. Cassandra only smiles at her before heading over to the tables, seeing no reason to be in between the dancing couples. Her hand was playing on a cup when she felt a presence beside her.

"So, you're free to dance now love?" Klaus asks, smirking as his eyes move over her. Cassandra only keeps her eyes trained on Tyler and Caroline, the blonde girl keeping a close eye on them. "The silent treatment doesn't suit you." He says, raising an eyebrow at the girls behaviour but she only snaps her head towards him, a set glare on her face.

"Fuck you." She sneers at him, her jaw clenched as her fingernails dig into the skin of her arms. Klaus only looks at her amused before a wicked smirk plasters on his face.

"With pleasure, darling." He says lowly, moving closer to her which makes her falter for a split second before she snarls at him. Cassandra wasn't going to let him seduce her into forgiving him.

"Usually that would be a turn on but right now, im ready to bash your skull in." Cassandra tells him, finally breaking the tension as she rolls her eyes, looking away from him. Klaus only chuckles, moving around her so he was again standing in front of her.

"Just dance with me." He states, holding out his hand for her to take. Cassandra stares at it for the longest time, contemplating whether to take it or to leave as fast as she could. Klaus almost gave up, ready to put his hand back down when she out of the blue takes his hand, allowing him to lead her to the dance floor. She sighs, her arms going around his neck as she could feel his hands land on her waist although her eyes stayed anywhere but his. "You look beautiful tonight." Klaus compliments with a small smile as his eyes flicker down her appearance. She was wearing a deep purple, 20's inspired dress that had fringe hanging from the bottom. Her hair was pulled up into side braided bun, the feather headband on her head. Cassandra doesn't look at him though, only staring at their feet as they moved in sync with the music. "I never meant to hurt you again." He finally says after a long awkward silence. That only makes Cassandra tense under his touch, her eyes finally meeting his but there was rage behind hers.

"Really, that's your apology?" Cassandra asks in a sarcastic tone, giving him a blunt look. He had to to way better than that. Especially after he made promises never to hurt her and well would you look at that, he did. Repeatedly.

"You never let me explain." Klaus says with a sigh, taking a step closer to her but she only stares at him suspiciously. She gives him a warning look, if he took one more stop she would deck him. Cassandra wanted to keep a safe distance during their dance.

"I was only saying Finn was a lovesick fool because I was angry. I didn't mean anything by it. I especially didn't mean anything towards you because I am in love with you and I do believe we are supposed to be together." Klaus starts to explain himself, sincerity in his voice that she could almost instantly tell was genuine. "I was just upset over my brother's death, we were never the closest but he was still my brother even if he did help Esther before Sage returned." He finishes, his voice cracking lightly as his eyes cast downwards for a second before meeting hers again. Cassandra gazes at him, her mind going through fifty different emotions at once. She was still angry at him for what he said but she could also see the love he had for her. There was no way she could convince herself that it was all fake. She would confused because she didn't know whether to forgive him or walk away. Walking away would mean that she would just be done. No more heartbreak or drama in her life from the family that caused so much pain. But if she forgave him, it gave her a chance to have a happy life, a life where she could be with the family she's grown inseparable from. But Cassandra was also filled with joy when he was he was in love with her. Those words were what hit her the most. And what made her decision and caused her to finally say something back to him.

"Why do I keep coming back to you?" She asks quietly, shaking her head as she rests her head on his chest, now pulling him as close as possible. Klaus lets out a sigh of relief, his head resting on top of hers as he holds her tightly in their embrace as they danced slowly.

"Believe me, love. I've been asking myself that question for the last seven hundred years." Klaus says honeslty, a happy laugh leaving his lips. Cassandra lets out a breath, closing her eyes for a brief moment as she moves along with him, just listening to the music and the sound of his breathing.

"This doesn't mean that were together, you know that right?" Cassandra finds the courage to say as she pulls away just enough to look up at him. Klaus furrows his eyebrows, not understanding why she wouldn't just give in to the obvious temptation the universe kept taunting them with.

"Cassandra, I want to spend eternity with you. Don't you want to do the same?" Klaus asks, slightly irritation in his voice but she could also feel the pain. He was breaking inside and she had caused that. Maybe it would've just been easier to leave and not cause this much heartache for him but she didn't. She stayed. And that meant something she just didn't know what. Cassandra didn't want to see Klaus in pain but she also didn't want to hurt Elijah either. It was a very hard decision because she didn't want to lose either of them. They have both had a significant impact on her life.

"Elijah is still a huge part of my life. I can't be with you until I figure out my feelings for him." Cassandra says with a sigh causing Klaus to look away from her, his jaw clenching as he loosens his grip on her. She could tell he was hurt by that but she couldn't lie to him and tell him they would be together when she didn't know what she felt. "Look at me, Nik." She tells him, her hand moving up to place itself on his cheek. Klaus reluctantly moves his eyes to hers, seeing her offer a soft expression. "I don't want to lose you, believe me. You just got to give me some time, okay?" She asks as she strokes his cheek, pure love behind her eyes but Klaus didn't seem to notice it in time because they were rudely interrupted by Damon grabbing a hold of Cassandra and ripping the two from each other.

"Wha-- Damon." She asks confused as he pulls her across the dance floor but she only rips her hand from his. Cassandra stares harshly at him, turning back to Klaus but Damon only appears in front of her.

"Sorry to interrupt what looks to be a very touching moment but we've got a problem." Damon tells them, flickering his eyes between the two. Cassandra rolls her eyes bluntly, crossing her arms against her chest as she was angry that he interrupted the moment she was having with Klaus.

"What? Elena chose Stefan to be her date and not you." She sneers snarkily, squinting her eyes at him before grabbing klaus's hand and going to pull him away when Damon only grips her arm hard. Cassandra turns her head, giving him a warning look as she was only going to give him three seconds to take his hands off before she tore them off his body.

"How about, Alaric has gone full dark and now Esther is back and they're working together." He says in a hard tone, keeping their eye contact. Damon wasn't going to shy away because he knew that Cassandra would be more focused on his words than him having a hand on her. Klaus though was still seething in anger at the sight of Damon being so rough with her, he wanted to tear him limb from limb. "Come on." Damon states as he gestures to follow him. Cassandra shares a knowing look with Klaus, both equally not trusting the Salvatore but it was either think he's lying and possibly get killed by Alaric, or think he is possibly telling the truth and stop Esther once and for all. Klaus only sighs, clenching his jaw but he only grabs Cassandra's hand and drags her along behind Damon. Because there was one thing he was not risking. Her life. Just because they weren't linked anymore doesn't mean that she couldn't die. They didn't even know what bloodline she was from. So he wasn't taking any chances.

β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’

TAPPING HER FOOT ANXIOUSLY ON THE FLOOR, Cassandra was about ready to leave and find Esther herself. Not that she was rushing Bonnie but they were on a bit of time crunch. The witch seemed stressed enough though so she didn't press on the matter. Klaus looked like he was about to snap though, standing next to Cassandra impatiently as he glances around the room.

"She does this all the time, right?" Jamie asks as he had never seen the witch perform a spell like this. Cassandra didn't really know who he was, all she knew was that he was Bonnie's date but he didn't have much going on, which is probably why she didn't notice him for the first ten minutes they were in the classroom.

"What's taking so long? All boundary spells have a loophole." Klaus states as he raises an eyebrow at the Bennett witch who only gives him the evil eye. She was nice towards Cassandra, she liked Cassandra, she just didn't like who she decided to hang around with. Well, the other originals she's met, Rebekah and Elijah weren't too bad. It was Klaus. She despised him. Maybe she could grow to like him because she wanted to get close to Cassandra but it was difficult when all he did was threaten and harass her.

"People are walking right out the dance. Past the barricade." Matt says as he walks into the room with Jeremy, both of them looking like they were on a mission. Cassandra sighs, bored as she looks at her nails wanting this whole nightmare to be over already.

"If Matt and I can leave we can stop Esther ourselves. We just need to find out where she is." Jeremy adds making everyone stare at them like they were absolutely crazy. Those two would be the very last people cassandra would ever trust with something as important as this, and they were human so Esther would snap their little necks with one spell.

"Suicide, Jeremy." Stefan tells him with a sigh, not needing Elena's brother to get himself killed because she would blame him for not watching over him more.

"Suicide would be disappointing me." Klaus states firmly, glaring at the group as their chit chat was not getting them much farther towards stopping his mother. He quickly grabs Jamie, holding him up by his neck causing Bonnie to gasp. "Now work your magic, witch. Or I'll start killing people you fancy." He adds with a smirk, staring at the girl. Cassandra glares at the man, obviously not thrilled that be was threatening the girl again. Especially with killing because he knew she just lost her mother.

"Hands off, Nik." Cassandra scolds him, giving him a stern expression. Klaus looks at her for a moment before rolling his eyes and letting Jamie go. Damon smirks, snorting as he realized that the original would always do whatever the girl told him to do and that was his weakness.

"Good, you can keep him in check." He says but Cassandra only glares at him. She wasn't too fond of him at the moment and he was just making her want to rip his heart out even more.

"Don't test me, Damon." Cassandra warns him which makes the man be quiet because even after all this time, he knew she would go through with killing him if he really was an inconvenience. Suddenly walking over to Klaus, she grabs his hands and yanks him over to the door. "We'll be back." She says, not even bothering to look back because they were most likely giving judgemental looks that would make her want to punch them of their smug faces.

"Off to get your freak on?" Damon asks with a snarl, resisting the urge to throw up. Cassandra only flips him off, not getting how just a couple weeks ago they were still friends and now he was trying to kill all her friends not even caring if she dies too.

"I'm hungry, perv." Cassandra snaps at him before practically dragging Klaus out of the classroom.Β  He follows after her willingly, knowing if he stayed in the classroom too long, he would actually kill them all. "Before you get any ideas, I am actually hungry." She mutters to Klaus, pulling him along. Klaus glances at her, clearing his throat as he shakes his head.

"No ideas, here love." He says as he licks his bottom lip, hiding a smirk that was beginning to form. Cassandra rolls her eyes playfully at him, knowing that was a down right lie because he was never able to look her in the eyes.

"I could feel your hands on my ass all throughout our dance, Nik. You're not slick." She tells him as she raises an eyebrow at the man who only smirks at her, moving closer as they walk into a different classroom far away from the gang. His face suddenly turns serious, his eyes casting downwards for a moment.

"I heard about your adventure with Kol." Klaus states, putting his hands in his pockets as he looks up at her, seeing the mood change in the girls face. She was pissed to say the least, most likely because she knew he would most likely scold her about it.

"Elijah told you about that?" Cassandra asks with a sigh, clenching her jaw as he stares at the man who gives a disapproving expression. Usually he would be all down for humans dying bit not when it came to her.

"I'm sure he left out some minor details but he did mention that you and Kol almost drained an entire bar." He says accusingly, a hardened look in his eyes but the girl only scoffs, rolling her eyes as he tried to act all tough. So he wanted to give her a lesson when Kol was also there? Why was she being treated like a baby.

"We were both drunk and high on blood. It just happened." She groans, not wanting the man to make a big deal out of something that wasn't necessary. Klaus sighs, giving the girl a stern expression. It wasn't like he didn't trust her word, he just was hesitant when it came to her control.

"Even Kol said that you were losing control and that's coming from him." Klaus pipes up, noting how his brother came to him afterwards after a scolding from Elijah, telling him that Cassandra had gone a little bit too crazy in the bar. Kol even mentioned that he only killed one third of the dead humans.

"Kol is an idiot." She scoffs, rolling her eyes as she couldn't believe that Kol would throw her under the bus like that. "I wasn't losing control."Cassandra states as she crosses her arms against her chest.

"You don't have to lie to me, love." Klaus tells her softly but that only sets her off. Did he think that just because he said it like that, that she would just open up to him? She wasn't weak like they all thought, maybe she was in more control that night then they knew. Maybe she liked it.

"I'm not." She snaps at him, glaring harshly at the man. Klaus knew she was only getting defensive because deep down she knew he words were true, she just didn't want to admit it. But deciding to leave the subject alone, he sits on the desk gesturing her over next to him. Cassandra stares at him for a few minutes, before huffing and sitting down next to him. She only rolls her eyes before sinking her fangs into his neck. Klaus lets out a breath, placing a hand on her side, trying to turn his body so she had better access. Cassandra only moans, shifting slightly so she could lift her leg over his lap. Now straddling him, she tugs on his hair, deepening her fangs as she feels the blood rush down her throat. Klaus lets out a steady breath, gripping her thighs as he feels her grind down against him as she tries to get closer in order to be able to drink more. He clenches his jaw, lifting her hips so she wasn't pressing into him. Cassandra only grumbles, slapping his hands away before sitting back down but her body freezes when she realizes why the man had decided to move her. She blushed, her fangs retracting for a second as she feels him hard against her upper thigh. Noticing she had stopped, Klaus decided to address the issue.

"I can't help it when you're making sensual noises in my ear, love." Klaus tells her, a groan leaving his lips as she licks the blood dripping down his neck. She sucks the skin for moment before leaning back in order to look at the man.

"Well, you do that in your sleep, so." Cassandra replies as she raises an eyebrow at him, noting how many times he had been quite vocal over the summer. His boners were also really noticeable when she woke up before him.

"I have a perfectly good reason." He answers her, not ashamed at all as he didn't think it was that big of a secret. Why would he care if she knew he dreamt about her, if anything it was a compliment. Klaus smirks at her, seeing the girl bite her bottom lip.

"And I do too. Your blood is just sooo good." She fake moans before rolling her eyes playfully at him. Klaus smiles, pulling her closer as he lifts his hand in order to stroke her cheek, brushing her hair back. Cassandra meets his eyes, seeing the love and admiration in them. He only leans in, their lips hovering over each other but Cassandra pulls away just enough so they could still look at each other. But her gaze was flipping back and forth from his lips to his eyes. Klaus squeezes her hips, his finger lifting up her chin so she was fully making eye contact with him. Cassandra gulps, her breath hitching in her throat as she involuntarily moves her body more closer to him.

She could feel his breath on her skin, their lips moving closer before drifting apart. Cassandra felt his hands move to her lower back, pulling her into him and she could feel her pulse racing. She didn't get why she was so nervous, she had been in this position with him before so what was different about this time? Klaus brushes his lips against hers, the skin skimming against each other. Cassandra gasps softly, her eyes fluttering closed for a moment. Suddenly, she feels lips on the corner of her mouth, softly placing a kiss. He moves to the other side, gently placing another one. She opens her eyes to meet his, she didn't know what his emotions were right now because she couldn't read him. But her mind was completely dazed as his lips press a delicate kiss to her jaw before moving back up to her lips. Their lips hover each other again before he goes to close the distance.

The door slamming open is what makes Cassandra jump away from him, her eyes widening as she snaps back into reality. "The barricade is down. They are at the old--" Caroline's voice is heard but cuts short as she sees the two in front of her. Cassandra was still straddling his waist, her dress riding up. Klaus still had his hands places on her lower back, keeping her against his body and despite pulling away from the near kiss, they were still only inches from each other's faces. "Old cemetery." She finishes in a shocked voice, her eyes taking in the scene. Cassandra clears her throat, the younger vampire only staring at them like she had just seen a new born puppy.

"Hey, Care." Cassandra says awkwardly, hearing Klaus chuckle under his breath. The girl hears him, only punching him discreetly in the side. Caroline doesn't know this as she was too busy trying to hold back her obvious happiness. She wasn't succeeding.

"Yes! She forgave you." She says loudly, practically jumping up and down. Cassandra thought the girl was going to combust with how much emotion was going through her at once. "And you were about to have sex-" Caroline says slowly, looking between them. Cassandra furrows her eyebrows before noticing their position, it would be the assumption most people would think of. Moving away from Klaus, she pulls his hands off of her although she still remained on his lap, shaking her head furiously.

"No, we weren't. I was just hungry." Cassandra denies, biting the inside of her cheek as she knew Caroline was only going to press more on the subject. Not that she didnt give her every reason to because she was mere inches from Klaus.

"Yeah, hungry for his dick." She snorts, her eyes boring into the girls head. Cassandra's eyes widen as she throws a book at the girl, merely missing her. The blonde only raises an eyebrow before clapping her hands excitedly. "Scandalous sex. Even better." Caroline adds with a gasp as she flickers her eyes between the two. Cassandra only gives her a pointed look, hoping she got the message to be quiet and leave. "We will be at the old cemetery when you two love birds are done." She says cheerfully, smirking as she winks at the pair before turning around to leave. Cassandra closes her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath in before meeting Klaus's gaze which had slight amusement in it.

"Now we have to get back together, for Caroline." Klaus says with a dramatic breath, giving her a pout. She only nudges him, giggling a little as she rolls her eyes playfully. She knew he was joking but there was no doubt about it that Caroline was their biggest fan.

"She's already planning our wedding." Cassandra tells him with a sigh, shaking her head. Klaus chuckles, pressing a kiss to her head before lifting her off his lap. She looks up at him, offering a small smile. Klaus returns it, taking a step forward towards her but she only squeezes his hand before turning to follow after where Caroline had headed off to. A sigh leaves the man's lips but he ultimately follows her. He just had to give her time and maybe she would come back to him. But with these weapons out in the world that could kill him, there was no true indication of how much time he had left.
