BRIGHT LIGHT SHONE ON CASSANDRA'S FACE. She hated that it was already morning because these days were going by too fast. It had already been four days since her date with Klaus that went surprisingly well. He had dropped her off at her apartment afterwards and had left with nothing but a kiss on the cheek. That surprised her but also made her smile because it seemed to be enough for him.

Rolling over in the bed, she hits something hard on her path making her eyebrows furrow. Her hands move a little, trying to feel what it was but it wasn't giving her much hints. Deciding to lift her head she notices that the thing she hit was Klaus who was sitting up in the bed, his eyes partially closed as he tried to fall back asleep but the jolt to his body woke him up. "Morning?" She asks curiously, wondering why they were in the same bed since she was ninety nine percent sure last night she went to sleep in a seperate room.

"This is just as much of a surprise to me as well, love." Klaus states as he sighs, wanting to go back to sleep but knowing that wasn't going to be happening now. Cassandra stares at him before looking at her attire, seeing that she was still in her silk red shorts and bralette which is what she fell asleep in last night.

"We didn't sleep together." She says, almost questioning it since she didn't quite remember anything happening. Klaus shakes his head, confirming her theory. He kind of wished they did though because maybe he could've gotten some sleep before she closed her eyes.

"No." Klaus says with a sigh, running his fingers through his hair as he glances over at the girl. "I woke up and I saw you laying here." He admits, yawning which catches her off guard because he was almost never tired unless it was just a really bad night.

"Sorry I hijacked your bed." She apologizes as she sits up, leaning up against the headboard. Klaus gives her a lazy smile, rubbing her thigh a little before moving towards the edge.

"That's okay, love." Klaus tells her as he rubs his eyes, getting off of the bed and grabbing a shirt from his chair. Cassandra lounges on the bed, getting comfortable again which made Klaus secretly loath her after the night he just had.Β  "You can come in anytime you want." He says, although he wasn't being all truthful because spending every night with her would probably be the same nightmare as it was five hundred years ago. Klaus loved Cassandra, he did, just sleeping in the same bed with her was the one thing he hated about the relationship. Klaus walks over to the door, opening it only to see his sister emerging from her room.

"Are you two back together?" Rebekah asks as she notices the girl in Klaus's room while walking past. Klaus looks at his sister, following her down the hall as he shakes his head while rubbing his eyes. She looked at him amused, usually vampires didn't feel tired but when there was hardly any blood in his system and Cassandra had kept him up all night in an unpleasant way, it made him irritable.

"No, I guess she just couldn't sleep last night." Klaus corrects as he finishes putting on his shirt, a sigh leaving his lips. He didn't mind her climbing into bed with him, he just didn't like when she kicked him in the middle of the night or pushed him because it seemed to be the one thing that stayed through the centuries they weren't together. It was something he noticed when they first shared a night together and it was annoying but something he got used to. Being apart for so long has made him forget what it was like actually spending a night with her. In the hotel's over the summer, it didn't seem to happen or she probably kicked the pillow between them.

"I heard you went on a date though." She asks confused as her eyebrows furrow a little. Rebekah was told by Caroline of her devious little plan and she was there for it. Truthfully, rebekah didn't mind the girl at all.

"Yeah, we did." Klaus replies, buttoning up the shirt as he lets his feet tread on the floor. A smile takes over his features as he remembers a couple nights ago when they had spent the night genuinely having fun together.

"Wow, you are actually smiling again." Rebekah says with a smirk, nudging his shoulder but he only sends a playful glare before his eyes flutter shut for a second. She instantly knew why he was so tired, it wasnt because he spent the night with Cassandra. It was because they actually slept. She had slept in a bed with the girl a few times and they weren't the best nights. "Did you know Elijah called her?" She asks, knowing that it would wake her brother up. Klaus instantly opens his eyes, his head snapping in her direction.

"What?" He asks, anger in his tone as he was never told this. Cassandra hadn't mentioned it but he guessed it was because she didn't want him to feel jealous which is definitely what he felt right now.

"Yeah, he called Cassandra the other night." Rebekah says to him slowly, now realizing that he actually didn't know. She had overheard the conversation because Cassandra wasn't exactly being quiet. Mainly because she was yelling at Elijah for the better half of the call. "You didn't know?" She asks her brother who glares at her, that being the answer to her question

"Why would he tell me of his plans to speak to Cassandra." He asks sarcastically, knowing his brother would never tell him that. "He's still trying to get her?" Klaus mutters almost to himself but Rebekah hears him, nodding her head with a roll of her eyes.

"Well, obviously. He's in love with her." Rebekah says bluntly as it wasn't insane to think that Elijah would still contact her. She was just surprised it was this soon to when he said goodbye. "They were together for a lot longer." She adds as if that would make a big difference. Klaus only rolls his eyes, not getting why everyone brought that up.

"That's because he was helping her avoid me." He corrects her, not seeing how that could even count because his brother had lied to her the whole time and forcefully kept her away from him.

"Nik, if you want the girl, you have to make her want you and only you." Rebekah states, her brother needing a little pep talk because it was obvious that he wasn't making any progress on his own.

"I can't exactly do that when my brother is making late night phonecalls to her." He grumbles before pushing past his sister and leaving the house. Already in a bad mood, he didn't want to see Cassandra again because he would say something that he didn't mean. Klaus just hoped she made a decision soon because this whole thing was making him want to rip out someone's heart. Preferably a Salvatore.

CASSANDRA RUSHES INTO THE ROOM WHERE CAROLINE HAD TOLD HER BONNIE WAS. Apparently Klaus had taken it into his hands to unlink them all by forcing Bonnie to do it. But that made her angry because he can't just make people do what he wants, especially when she just lost her mother not even a week ago. "Seriously?" Her voice was loud and not friendly as she finds Klaus glaring at the witch in front of him. Bonnie looked terrified but her expression softened when she saw Cassandra.Β  "You're threatening Bonnie?" She asks with a scoff, walking over to them. Klaus sighs, backing up from the girl as he knew Cassandra would end up throwing him away.

"Think of it as coercion." He says with a smirk on his lips but it falls when he sees the deadly expression on Cassandra's face. She only shakes her head at him, moving to Bonnie as putting a hand on her shoulder. "Love, I just need her to unlink us." Klaus says with a groan, crosses his arms against his chest.

"And she will, just give her time." Cassandra tells him before offering a kind smile to Bonnie, one which she returns before rushing out of the room wanting to get far away from Klaus.

"We might not have very much." Klaus groans as she watches the Bennett witch leave. He rolls his eyes slightly, needing the girl to finish finding a spell but that wasn't going to happen with Cassandra interrupting.

"Don't threaten her again." Cassandra tells Klaus in a stern voice, glaring at the man. Klaus only clenches his jaw, his gaze moving from her for a second. "Nik." She scolds, pointing a finger at him. Klaus sighs loudly, rolling his eyes but nods.

"I wont. I promise." Klaus tells her as he stares at her, biting the inside of his cheek. Cassandra looked pleased as she nods her head, glad he understood her.

"Thank you." She says with a sigh, crossing her arms against her lips. Klaus only stares at her, a teasing glint in his eyes as he thinks of an idea.

"Its gonna cost you though." Klaus taunts as he walks closer to her, his eyes grazing down her body with a smirk playing on his lips. He licks his bottom lip seeing the interested look on her face.

"And what might that be?" She asks with a risin eyebrow, taking a step towards him. Klaus only steps forward aswell so their bodies were a mere inch from each other, their lips almost touching. His smirk widens as he can hear her breath quicken as the sudden closeness between them.

"Maybe join me for a drink." He says, flashing his eyes at her as he allows his claw to cut a little slit in his arm. Cassandra only glances down at it for a moment, feeling her body taking over. Her mind was telling her to have control, to not weaken at the mere touch of either originals. Even her heart was telling her to quit while she was ahead. But her body. Her body did something completely different.

Connecting their lips in a heated kiss, Cassandra moans allowing her hand to grip into his hair. Klaus speeds them to the nearest room which unluckily didn't have a bed. They barely made it in though as he had her pressed up against the wall, her hand gripping the nearest thing she could which was a table. Their lips meet each other's passionately, Klaus letting out a low growl when one of her hands starts to move lower down his body.

"Okay, brief pause." Cassandra says suddenly, pulling away from the man who looks at her curiously. "Can we go somewhere that at least has a couch?"

"And why is that love?" He asks with a smirk playing on his lips, hovering over her as his eyes gaze down her body.

"So I can have you as deep and rough as I want with no limitations." She purrs into his ear, practically moaning just at the thought. Klaus's eyes turn dark with lust and he goes to pick her up when they get unfortunately interrupted by their biggest fan.

"Can you two be quiet im trying to torture someone here!" Rebekah shouts at them making Cassandra burst out laughing. Klaus stares at her amused before connecting their lips again and speeding them off to a different room.

β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’Β°β€’

CASSANDRA MOANS INTO KLAUS'S MOUTH, their bodies move together at a rough pace. He was fucking her into the couch, her legs wrapped tightly around him as he digs his fingers into her hips. She whines, a gasp leaving her lips as he fills her up everytime, the sound of skin clashing together filling their ears. Klaus goes to leave open mouthed kisses on her neck but his mouth only stays agape, his breathing heavy as her moans vibrate against him. Her moans become more desperate as she nears her release, her nails digging into his back as she moves towards him with every thrust. Klaus growls, gripping her hips tighter in order to increase their pace. He was now slamming into her with every thrust, Cassandra becoming even louder as she let him know she was close.

Suddenly a loud cry leaves her lips as her orgasm hits hard, her head throwing back into the couch as her thighs tighten around him. Klaus thrusts into her a couple more times before releasing into her with a long groan, his hand gripping the couch tightly. He gasps, squeezing his eyes shut as he hovers over her body, his head resting on her shoulder. "Fuck." He moans, thrusting slowly into her as he feels the effect of his release take over. Cassandra was in pure bliss but that was before her phone buzzed making her groan loudly. She couldn't move Klaus off of her since he was still moving inside of her so she just reached to grab her phone.

"It's from Caroline." She says out of breath as she strokes his hair, places a kiss on his temple. Klaus gathers himself, looking up at her with a smirk as he grabs her phone and throws it to the other side of the couch.

"Ignore it. We can go another round." Klaus suggests as he starts to kiss down her neck, thrusting into her at a decent pace again. Cassandra could feel her body drained though, a sigh leaving her lips.

"Baby, I don't know how but I'm exhausted. I can't go another round yet." Her mind didn't even register what she had called him but Klaus had noticed, his eyes burning into the side of her head as he layed next to her, watching her reach over and grab her phone. Klaus smiles, not knowing if she meant to say that but he wasn't complaining about it.

We need to talk! Finn is dead!

"Oh, my god." She gasps, sitting up abruptly alarming Klaus who quickly sits up as well. He was worried now because she was only staring at her phone in pure shock. "We need to get the rest of your family here. Now." She tells him before turning her phone towards him so he could see the message. Their eyes connect, both full of confusion and shock that someone had mentioned to kill Finn.

The only one they couldn't get a hold of was Elijah but they would just have to fill him in later. Cassandra stood in between Kol and Klaus, although she wanted to beat the crap out of Kol for abandoning her, she restrained from doing so. Caroline rushes into the house, slamming the door shut and is met with the eyes of four very angry individuals. "Caroline, what the hell happened?" Cassandra asks her suddenly, her eyes widened as she still couldn't believe that Finn was dead. She wasn't sad or anything, it's just he was an original.

"I'm sorry, I was going to come to you sooner but they kept cornering me with things, I couldn't get here without raising suspicions, especially since Damon was downstairs." Caroline explains to them with a sigh as she tried to get to them as fast as possible, they needed as much of a head start as they could get.

"Who killed Finn?" Rebekah asks as she crosses her arms against her chest, her jaw clenching. Sure he wasn't the best brother but their mother just confused him, he actually wanted to stay after he was reunited with sage.

"Stefan, Elena and Matt." Caroline says making Cassandra roll her eyes. Of course little miss perfect was on the team, not that she probably did anything. She was a weak little girl who hid behind her bodyguards.

"How? It's not possible." Cassandra states, not getting how they were able to overpower an original with no weapon. Rebekah had found the wickory wood and gotten rid of it.

"They had the wickory bridge sign, the sign made from white oak." The girl answers making Klaus snap his head towards his sister who was in shock that she had missed something so big.

"They have stakes that can kill us." Klaus grumbles, slamming his hand against the table in anger.

"A lot." She tells them with a sigh making Cassandra grab onto Klaus's hand. He seemed to be growing with anger so she knew it would calm him down which it did.

"So they killed Finn thinking it would kill us all." Rebekah says, rubbing her face as she glances around the room. She was just glad that Bonnie had actually unlinked them in time instead of stalling but what they didn't know was that the witch was also on their side.

"Yes, but since Bonnie unlinked you before it happened, you're fine." Caroline explains to them as she fiddles with her fingers. Kol rolls his eyes, sighing as he couldn't believe he came all the way back just to learn his stupid, traitor brother was killed.

"Is this all you guys called me back for?" He asks annoyed as he crosses his arms against his chest. Caroline shakes her head quickly, not wanting anyone to leave until they knew what had happened after Finn had died.

"No. There's one more thing. Sage and her buddy Troy are dead too." Caroline states making everyone look shocked, the girl was strong and old, almost as old as them. Was she trying to say that the gang had also managed to kill Sage?

"Wait, how did they kill Sage too. I hated her but she was strong." Cassandra points out, the originals nodding their heads in agreement even though they could easily take the redhead woman.

"That's the thing. They didn't. They died within an hour of Finn." She corrects the girl making a wave of confusion flash over everyone. How did two vampires just drop dead all of a sudden, no cause of death being present.

"I don't understand, what are you saying?" Klaus asks confused, not understanding what she was trying to tell them. Sage wasn't an actual loss to everyone but it was weird how she just up and died.

"Finn turned Sage. Sage turned Troy. They're all apart of the original bloodline that started with Finn." She explains to them but the family was just staring at her like she was talking nonsense. Cassandra was the only one who got where she was going, her eyes widening in realization.

"Oh, my god." Cassandra gasps making everyone look at her, their eyebrows furrowed as they were still very in the dark.

"I'm still so confused." Rebekah sighs as she rubs her head, she thinks she's getting her first migraine from how the girl was explaining this.

"If an original dies..." Cassandra cuts herself off, not wanting to think of it because that would mean a very bad thing. Especially when she didn't know what original was the origin of her blood line.

"So does every vampire that was ever turned in their bloodline." Caroline finishes for her, noticing the way the the originals light up. It was good for them for a split second before they figured that the Salvatore's would just kill them all anyways because it would leave precious Elena okay.

"The whole vampire species would just be extinct." Cassandra mutters, her eyebrows furrowing as she glances at Klaus who meets her eyes. He knew she was worried but he only squeezed her hand, giving her a reassuring smile.

"There is good news though." Caroline pipes up, catching everyone's attention once again but the youngest male original didn't exactly see the joy in it.

"Oh, jolly. After you told us they have weapons to kill us." Kol says sarcastically with a roll of his eyes, wondering what possible good this would do them. Wow, they know their certain death is coming.

"But they can't kill you. Not until they figure out which bloodline they're from." Caroline points out with a smile, knowing they would have to do a lot of research for it which luckily the originals probably didn't have to do.

"Well, Katherine turned Damon, Stefan and you. Rose turned Katherine..." Cassandra trails off for a moment, thinking to herself as everyone's eyes were drilling into her head. "That means they are going to be looking for the person who turned Rose." She tells them as she looks at everybody. Kol nods his head, smirking at them as he raises an eyebrow at his siblings.

"Which just means we have to find them first." He states, loving the suspense but more because if they found them first, he could wait around for the doppleganger and her friends and maybe off one or two of them.

"Thank you for telling us, Caroline." Cassandra says towards the blonde with grateful smile. The entire family was glad that they had someone on their side working against Elena and the Scooby gang. Especially since it seemed she actually didn't want them die, maybe it was just for Cassandra or maybe because she was actually seeing them as people. People who didn't deserve to die. Maybe even new friends.

CASSANDRA SITS IN A CHAIR IN THE SPARE ROOM, Klaus and Rebekah being the only ones left in the house as Kol and Caroline had left after the news broke about Finn. Rebekah seemed to be the only one feeling a tad bit emotional over their brothers passing, pacing back and forth as Klaus only downed a glass of alcohol. He wasn't sad at all because he had never liked Finn. The man was a nuisance to their family. "I can't believe Finn is dead." She says softly, her hand on her stomach. Klaus rolls his eyes, glancing at his sister.

"Good riddance. He was an embarrassment, Rebekah." Klaus tells the girl, feeling no remorse for his dead sibling. Rebekah glares at him, not liking how he was turning his back on Finn. He may not have been the greatest but he was still blood.

"He was still your brother, mind your tongue." She growls at him, hating how he was being so cruel. Klaus sighs heavily, setting down his glass.

"Fine. Let's all say a prayer for Finn who slept in a box longer than he lived as a man. He was a lovesick fool, he was better off in death." Klaus scoffs, turning away from his sister as he didn't want to have this conversation any longer.

"Is that how you would speak of me If I died?" She asks him angrily as she moved closer to him. Rebekah heard the faint footsteps of Cassandra coming down the stairs, most likely wanting to know what all the arguing was about.

"Well, you left the Salvatore's loose with two stakes that can kill us so I guess we'll find out soon enough. And since when did you have a soft spot for them?" Klaus asks his sister who clenches her jaw as she shakes her head. She couldn't believe he was trying to justify his words. He practically just told her he wouldnt miss her if she died.

"The Salvatore's may fight like dogs but in the end they'd die for each other. At least they know what family means. You destroyed ours." Rebekah sneers at him, hating how he torn apart their family all because of his hybrid curse.

"I wanted a family. They just didn't want me. And now we're unlinked so were no longer responsible for each other." He tells her as he packs a couple things into a bag. Rebekah watches him, moving towards him again as she bites the inside of her cheek.

"So are you leaving?" She asks harshly, not really caring anymore at this point what he does because he obviously didn't truly care for her.

"As soon as I get my stakes, I'm gone. I'm gonna take Elena and use her blood to create a new family. Of hybrids." Klaus states proudly, not needing his siblings anymore since they seemingly didn't want him.

"And if I choose to stay?" Rebekah asks, challenging him as she raises an eyebrow at him but her eyes were full of tears. Truthfully, she was terrified of his answer.

"Then you're just as pathetic as Finn." He hissed at her, anger in his tone as his last sibling was turning their back on him. He didn't need them anyway. They would never really accept him.

"At least now I know you'll be forever alone with your hybrids." Rebekah tells her brother who only rolls his eyes at her dramatic nonsense. But her eyes moved past him, that's what made him confused. Klaus follows her eyes, his heart dropping at the sight in front of him. Cassandra was standing in the doorway, tear stains on her cheeks as she was visibly shaking in anger. He didn't get a chance to say anything because she was only glaring daggers at him.

"Have fun with your new family." She snaps at him, her voice cracking. Cassandra turns around, making her way to the door, her heart broken yet again by the same man who told her repeatedly that he'd never hurt her.

"Love." Klaus says, his voice wavering as he quickly follows after her but not before seeing the smirk on Rebekah's face. She knew. She knew Cassandra was nearby and that's why she purposely brought everything up. "Please, stop." He pleads to no avail as she just continues to ignore his voice, her eyes seeing red. "Love, wait. Please." He calls after her but she only scoffs, not stopping in her pursuit to get far away from him.

"Why? So you can tell me that I'm also a love sick fool?" Cassandra asks, her tone venomous as she was about ready to find a stake herself and kill him with it. Klaus grabs her arm, halting her in her place.

"I was talking about Finn." Klaus tries to justify his words but she only squints her eyes. She didn't believe him. Why should she?

"Were you?" She sneers at him, scoffing as she shakes her head at him. Another excuse but the truth was, his words were speaking about all love. "God, I keep giving you chance after chance and you still say the same thing! You don't love me at all." Cassandra hisses at him, having enough of his mind games. Maybe she should have just followed Elijah, left town without a second word.

"I do, Cassandra. I love you so much." Klaus tries to tell her but she only holds up her hand making him stop walking towards her. She couldn't be in a close proximity with him.

"Then you wouldn't say those things about Finn and Rebekah! You would mention me when making plans to leave town to start a new family of hybrids." Cassandra tells him as she rolls her eyes, turning around to continue walking away but he grabs her arm, flipping her around again. She glares at him, ripping his hand off of her.

"I-i was going to ask you." He stutters, not wanting to lose her again. He was going to ask her but he hadn't gotten around to it with everything going on.

"If you really loved me, I would be enough for you. Not your stupid hybrids." Cassandra tells him in a harsh tone, shaking her head. Klaus sighs, taking a cautious step towards her.

"You are enough for me, love." Klaus assures her, not wanting anything to get in the way of their future together because if he lost her now, he may lose her forever.

"Stop lying!" She screams at him, emotion filling her tone making Klaus flinch back. Tears flood down her cheeks as she shakes her head, backing up from him. "You wouldn't have said anything like that to Rebekah if you didn't mean every word." Cassandra says, her voice cracking as she sniffles, trying to contain herself but she seemed to be breaking and Klaus could see that.

"Please, I'm just impulsive. You know that. I want to be with you." Klaus begs as he walks up to her, grabbing her hands and giving them a squeeze. She only cries, her eyes staying glued to the ground as he spoke. The problem was, she didn't believe him. Finding the courage, Cassandra lifts her gaze to his.

"Then look me in the eyes and tell me you love me." She says, her voice hoarse and shallow. Klaus puts both his hand sin her cheeks, gazing into her eyes, tears brimming them.

"I love you." He tells her truthfully, smiling at her but she only stares back at him, her eyes now void of emotion as she didn't want to break once again if he didn't end up answering her.

"Tell me that I'm enough for you." Cassandra stares at him, sniffling as she feels the man move closer to her, feeling his hot breath on her lips but their focus was on each other's eyes. This wouldnt work if he didnt look her In the eyes because one of his biggest tells is that he would never look at her when lying.

"You are enough for me, love." Klaus states as he presses a kiss to either cheek, pulling her closer. Cassandra only pushes against his chest, needing to say one last thing before she allowed him to pull her into an embrace.

"Tell me, you'll forget about your hybrids. That we'll leave town together, not with Elena, not with anyone else." Cassandra says as she stares into his eyes. She was hoping he would say yes. That they could leave town, leave everything behind and being together. But he didn't. He said nothing. He only stared at her with pain in his eyes but he wasn't the one who was allowed to feel hurt. "I'm done, Nik." Those words hit him like ten thousand bricks, making him stumble back, their hands still connected. "I'm exhausted." She admits, her voice almost inaudible as she was ready to collapse. Klaus shakes his head, going to say something but she cuts him off. "Goodbye, Nik." She says softly, a tear slipping down her cheek before pulling her hand away and walking away from them man. Klaus watched after her, his heart breaking that he might have lost her forever.

Cassandra wanted to give him another chance. She wanted to believe he would change but it was always going to be his dumb hybrids. They were the most important thing, not her. She was never going to be enough for him. Not as long as Elena was alive. Not as long as his hybrids could be created. That's what made Elijah the better choice because in the end he'd always choose her no matter what.

A frustrated sigh leaves her lips as she walks down the street, her hands running through her hair. She hears something snap behind her but she doesn't pay much mind to it. Klaus was infuriating but it didn't stop her from going back to him. But maybe this time she couldn't. He was going to leave. Leave her. Like Elijah had. She would have no one ultimately. Another noise breaks behind her causing her to fly around this time, coming face to face with the person who had been following her since she left the house. Cassandra rolls her eyes, scoffing as she stares at them, not exactly thrilled that they thought she wanted their company.

"What are you doing here?"
