DAMON WAS TRYING TO SLEEP IN BUT IT DIDN'T SEEM LIKE THE UNIVERSE WANTED HIM TO. Or whatever was going on in his house. He groans as he puts the pillow over his head to drown out the noise but it didn't help one bit. Squeaks were presenting loudly throughout the house and faint voices. He grumbles, knowing that he wouldn't be able to fall asleep again. Instead, he sits up an annoyed expression on his face as his eyes flicker to Rebekah who was laying next to him, also awake because of the loud noises. "What is that?" Damon asks as he rubs his eyes a little bit. Rebekah sits up, the sheets holding against her body. They listen closely, hearing the loud bangs of something hitting the wall behind Damon's bed. Suddenly, clear moans could be heard from the room next door. Stefan's room. He grumbles, thinking it was Elena and that they had solved their problems. Rebekah raises her eyebrows a little bit, not even having use her vampire hearing to hear the two going at it in the room next door.
"Oh, god. Stefan!" Cassandra moans loudly, gasps leaving her lips as Stefan thrusts into her harder. Rebekah raises her eyebrows as she sees Damon getting out of bed to begin putting clothes on but stopped once he heard the voice.
"That's not Elena." Damon mutters, his eyebrows furrowing for a second. He was trying to make light of the familiar voice but it wasn't coming to him. And he didn't exactly want to listen in more to find out who it was.
"No bloody way." Rebekah gasps, a smirk forming as she immediately figured out who the voice belonged to. Her eyes flicker over to Damon who wore a disgusted expression on his face.
"Fuck, Cassandra." Stefan groans out which makes the two snap their heads towards each other. Damon was surprised that Cassandra and his brother were having sex again, especially since he thought it was only a human Stefan phase.
"You should be glad Stefan is having sex with someone other than Elena." Rebekah announces as she sees how uncomfortable Damon was at hearing the two going at it in the other room.
"Yeah, but I'm not exactly thrilled to hear my baby brother screwing my best friend." Damon groans as he tries to drown out the noise but it was hard to do as you didn't exactly need to have vampire hearing to be able to hear what was going on. Their moans and the bed slamming against the wall was the only thing you could hear in the house.
"Hard and deep it sounds like." Rebekah teases the man who only glares at her. Luckily it stops after a couple seconds which makes Damon internally feel grateful. He did not ever need to hear that again. After they finish getting dressed, they make their way out of Damon's room at the same time as Cassandra and Stefan emerge into the hallway. She was giggling as his hands pull at her waist trying to bring her back into the room. Cassandra only scolds him before his lips attack hers. She moans into his mouth, feeling his hand slide into the slip in her dress. After a couple more moments of them devouring each other, the scene in front of Damon and Rebekah not exactly being pg-13, they pull away from each other.
"Hate to break up the little rendezvous but don't do that in front of me ever again." Damon tells them, disgust laced in his tone. Stefan rolls his eyes, pulling away from the girl and allowing her to fix her completely destroyed gown. "Glad to see your getting some brother but if you're going to go at it like rabbits, keep it down." He states as he shivers, not wanting to remember what he had just heard. Cassandra found it amusing how the man was all about sex but when it came to his brother, he acted like a prude.
"He never gets to have any vampire sex anymore. Give us a break." Cassandra states as she shrugs her shoulders before giving Stefan one last glance. She moves past Damon who was still trying to unhear his brother and Cassandra's actions. Rebekah walks next to her, raising an eyebrow.
"Stefan?" She asks, as if it was the most odd thing in the world. Cassandra only smirks, copying her actions as she nudges the girls shoulder.
"Damon?" Cassandra responds, although she couldn't blame the blonde for sleeping with Damon. He was amazing in bed.
"Fair enough." Rebekah says with a sigh before noticing Damon join them, walking next to Cassandra.
"So, let's not make a big deal out of this." Damon tells Rebekah as he didn't want the girl thinking this was anything more than a one night stand.
"My thoughts exactly." She responds to the man. "Besides I expect you to come calling soon enough. We all know Cassandra's going to come back for seconds." Rebekah points out as she raises an eyebrow at the girl who only laughs, shaking her head.
"Oh, honey. I did that last night." Cassandra states with a smirk playing on her lips. Damon shivers in disgust, turning his nose up at that as he moves so Rebekah was standing in between them.
"Let's not hold our breath." Damon says with a scoff as he opens the door to let them out only to be faced with Elena. As soon as she sees the two girls, her eyes widen. A look of confusion washes over her but it wasn't too hard to put it together. Damon had his shirt open and the two girls weren't exactly the perfection that they were last night.
"This wasn't a threesome." Cassandra states, although it didn't cure Elena of her obvious jealousy that was radiating. She only squints her eyes, glancing between the group.
"It could be." Damon suggests with a smirk playing on his lips. He would usually pull her towards him but considering what she was doing with his brother not two minutes ago, he didn't dare touch her.
"No way in hell." Cassandra denies with a shake of her head. Not that she was opposed to having a threesome with Damon, there was no way in hell it would ever be with Rebekah.Β "At least not with Rebekah. That's weird." She admits as Rebekah only nods her head in agreement. Damon shrugs his shoulders, leaning against the door as he watches Elena march in, her gaze stuck on Cassandra who also looked like a complete mess.
"Why are you her--" Elena doesn't even get to finish her sentence as she sees Stefan walking down the stares. Shirtless. Her eyebrows furrow as she glances between them, not wanting to think the worst until she knew for sure. Stefan wouldn't sleep with Cassandra, would he?
"Cassandra, you almost forgot this." Stefan says as he holds up her skimpy red lace bra. Cassandra smirks at him, walking over to the man. Elena was practically seething in anger as she glares at the woman. She had to have done something to him, Stefan wouldn't do that to her. Damon, well he was different, but Stefan wouldn't willingly allow Cassandra to sleep with him. Elena crosses her arms as she scoffs, her jaw clenching.
"This is one of my favorites." She says with a slight gasp, taking the bra from his finger tips. Stefan pays no mind to Elena as he stares down at the raven haired vampire. Cassandra pulls her dress down enough so her chest was exposed, thankfully Stefan had made it stretchy. Elena eyes widen before she moves her gaze to anywhere else other than the girl. Stefan was staring at her curiously but only watched as the girl put the bra on before pulling her dress back up. "Thanks Stefan." Cassandra suddenly pulls him down, their lips connecting in a fiery kiss. Stefan was caught off guard but he instantly kisses back, a slight moan leaving his lips. One of his hands made its way up to her throat, squeezing it lightly as the other slid down her back onto her ass. Cassandra lets out a deliberate moan as she allows her tongue to entertwine with his, her hands pulling at his belt for a second. Pulling away, she smirks at the man who licks his lips, trying to keep the obvious smile from forming. Cassandra turns around, meeting Elena's eyes as she brings her finger up to her lip to wipe away the lipstick that was smudged. She didn't know how it was still on after last night but it made it all the better. The brunette's eyes were filled with anger and jealousy as she stared at the girl. "Oh, don't be all jealous and judgy. I had a hard night last night. Stefan helped me unwind." She says seductively, sending a wink her way. Elena digs her fingers into her arm, glaring daggers at the woman. It wasn't just the fact that she had slept with Stefan, it was that he wasnt even looking in her direction. His attention was set soley on Cassandra. Cassandra smirks before leaving the house with Rebekah following closely behind.
"That was cold." Rebekah tells her as she walks next to the girl. Cassandra only laughs, loving how mad she made Elena. "I love this side of you." She says with a smirk as she glances back at the Salvatore house where Elena was no doubtebly making them feel bad for her.
"Elena deserved it. Shes such a snotty brat who thinks everything's about her. And she thinks that she can play with both of the Salvatore's by pretending to be all innocent." She says with a roll of her eyes, internally barfing at the fact. Cassandra could see that Elena wasn't as innocent as she appeared. "Now I've set the bar high for Stefan that he won't want her basic human sex." Cassandra adds with a proud expression, smirking at Rebekah.
"It did sound pretty rough." Rebekah says truthfully as she raises an eyebrow at the girl. Cassandra shrugs, knowing Stefan would eventually leave Elena because she couldn't do it for him anymore.
"That's because I have no limit. Elena never even have him a blowjob." She snorts, actually feeling bad for the man for having to put up with her weak humanness for the better half of a year.Β "Besides, we broke his bed. Doesn't seem like they're doing it on it anytime soon anyways." Cassandra adds with a smirk on her face making Rebekah laugh loudly. She only smiles at the girl before grabbing her hand.
"Come with me." She says but the girl only pulls her hand away, shaking her head. Cassandra did not need to see anyone, especially not Elijah or Klaus after last night.
"And face Elijah and Nik right after I spent the whole night screwing Stefan? No thanks." She mutters, crossing her arms but Rebekah only groans, hating how she couldn't hang out with Cassandra because her brothers were pushing the girl away.
"I thought you didn't care what they thought?" Rebekah asks her but the girl only sighs, not answering her question. She didn't really know anymore. Cassandra was just so used to having no one around that she didn't know what to do when there were multiple people that wanted her. She felt like she had been using their tiniest mistakes as an excuse to push them away. "Make them jealous. They deserve it." She adds with a slight smirk, wanting to see the anger on her brother's face as they saw Cassandra's appearance.
"They're gonna think we did it." Cassandra tells the woman with a small laugh as they speed to the house. It seemed to be a bad idea in heels, especially since the girl was sure that one of them was broken.
"Then let them think that." Rebekah responds once they stop, raising an eyebrow at her. The raven haired vampire only shakes her head with a smile before they make their way into the house, gaining the attention of Klaus and Kol who were sitting in the common room. Kol immediately smirks, jumping up from his seat in order to block their path.
"Well, well, well. There's our girl." He says with a chuckle making Rebekah glare at him, she was tired and didn't want to deal with his antics.
"Get out of my way, Kol." She demands but he only steps the same direction she does. Cassandra only was hanging back so she doesn't even think that they saw her yet.
"Out all night, want a scandal. I trust you did better than that commoner, Matt was it--" Kol asks as he raises his eyebrows before his eyes land on Cassandra, a surprised expression on his face. He glances back at his brother who had taken no advance to join the conversation. "Cassandra, you look worn out." He says quite loudly which makes Klaus look up for a second to see what he was on about. The man sighs as he sees her rugged appearance but decides to keep his words to himself.
"I will rip out your tongue." She threatens with a glare as she pushes past the man. Kol only chuckles, knowing the girl couldn't lay one finger on him even if she wanted to.
"If you don't shut your mouth the next thing that comes out of it will be your teeth." Rebekah adds, now knowing why Cassandra didn't want to come over to their place. Kol was obviously going to say something about their appearance.
"Was this unrelated or are you really making your way around my family, Cass?" He asks with a smirk as he crosses his arms. Cassandra rolls her eyes, noticing that Klaus wasn't even glancing at her. A confused expression forms for a second but why should she care, this is what she wanted right?
"If I did sleep with Rebekah it would be none of your business."Β Cassandra tells him making the two brothers both stare at her. Klaus seemed shocked but also amused at her comment while Kol genuinely looked like he thought she was being serious. "Oh, my god. You guys actually believe that." She says as she raises her eyebrows at them. Sure, her and Rebekah were close but it would never happen just like her and Kol.
"Don't start Nik." Rebekah says after a moment, seeing the man smirking as he was drawing on the page in front of him.
"I didn't say anything." Klaus replies as he laughs slightly, not looking up at his sister as he spoke. Rebekah nods before she glances at Cassandra for a moment.
"Good. If you do, ill let Cassandra go back to the guy she screwed last night." Rebekah says with a smirk playing on her lips. Klaus tenses for a moment, his jaw clenching before it relaxes. He knew he couldn't make a scene because they weren't together. Cassandra made that blatantly clear.
"Cassandra can do as she pleases." Klaus mutters, his eyes moving back down to his sketch book. Cassandra furrows her eyebrows, sharing a confused look with Kol and Rebekah. They were all curious as to why the man wasn't absolutely furious right now.
"Huh?" Cassandra says as she stares at the man in front of her. "Where's the rage? Where's the 'you shall not be with anyone else?' I vaguely miss it." She tells him as she pouts a little bit. Klaus doesn't glance at her, only continuing to sketch as he hoped the questioning would end soon. "Really? Nothing?" She asks as she kicks his leg but doesn't earn any reaction. Cassandra sighs, moving to the other end of the couch to sit down as her heels were killing her feet.
"This is weird for you, Nik." Kol says as he sits down, wondering how this was going to pan out. He only shrugs, not wanting to give any of them the satisfaction of cracking.
"She doesn't want my commentary in her life. She can make her own choices." Klaus says with a sigh as he tries not to let any emotion cloud his face. Cassandra wasn't buying the whole act though, just last night he was practically trying to force her to forgive him.
"Oh, I see what this is. You're trying to be the bigger person to make me see that you are willing to change for me." Cassandra suggests as she crosses her arms against her chest suspiciously. She squints her eyes, looking over his face for any sign that she was right but the man was stoic.
"I'm just sketching, love." He replies, smiling lightly as he continues to draw on the page in front of him. Cassandra lets out a sigh as she realizes that he wasn't going to give up his endgame. Kol lets out a groan as he finally moves away from Rebekah.
"I'm bored." He announces earning everyone's attention but Klaus didn't bother to look up from his sketch book. "Our sister and Cassandra are strumpets but at least they're having fun. I need entertainment." Kol says earning glares from both women but he only ignores them. Klaus lets out a breath, not wanting to deal with his brothers tactics right now.
"What are you waiting for? Have at it." Klaus tells him, referring to the making fun of the two girls. Kol only looks between him and Cassandra, noticing the man wasn't even sparing her a second glance.
"So you wouldn't do anything if I asked Cassandra to let's say... Give me a lap dance?" He asks the man who flickers his eyes up for a moment, not believing it for even one second especially at seeing the disgusted facial expression on Cassandra's face. "Hypothetically." Kol adds when he sees Cassandra staring at him. He just wanted to get under his brothers skin but the pair were so repelled by each other that it was difficult to convince anyone. "Not even if I saw her naked?" He questions slowly, his eyes running the over Klaus's face. The man only continues to sketch, not paying attention to the man anymore. "He's good." Kol says after a moment, finally letting it go since he was not seemingly going to say anything. "It's no fun to go alone, join me Nik. It's the least you could do after sticking a dagger in my heart." Kol taunts, giving a fake saddened look towards his brother. Klaus flickers his eyes between his sketch book and Kol for a second before ultimately sighing.
"Okay, why not." He says, closing the book and placing it down. Getting up from his seat, he makes his way over to his brother. "I didn't have nearly enough to drink last night, with you trying to murder Rebekah's date." Klaus informs, giving him a slight glare although he didn't really care if the human died or not. He just didn't want to piss off his mother.
"Cassie, let's go." Kol tells her as he pulls her up from the couch. Cassandras eyes widen as she didn't think she would be dragged into whatever they were planning on doing.
"Wha-- I'm not even changed." She tries to complain but Kol only shrugs his shoulders, it wasn't his problem to deal with. He only pulls her towards the door, the girl trying to fight his strong grip on her arm.
"You can change in the car, give Nik a little show." He says with a wiggle of his eyebrows, smirking at her. Cassandra glares at him, hitting the back of his head with her hand which makes him let out a pained noise. He frowns, rubbing his head as he glances to his brother who was only laughing at him.
"You don't even have a car, idiot." She responds with a roll of her eyes. The man was alive for two seconds and suddenly thinks he knew everything. Kol squints his eyes at her before letting her walk out the door, Klaus following close behind.
"Yes, please go. This house has enough men rolling around in it." Rebekah announces with a groan as she was annoyed that they took Cassandra from her but honestly, she wanted some quiet anyways.
"Just like you, Bekah." Kol says as he stops to point at her, smirking as he looks at his sister. The girl only scoffs, taking off her shoe and gripping it in her hand.
"Good riddance, both of you." Rebekah yells as she throws her shoes in kol's direction. He only laughs and runs out the door, following after Cassandra and Klaus. The blonde glares at the empty hallway before turning away from it. Cassandra shakes her head at Kol as he meets up with them, trying not to laugh. He only smirks at her before they head off to her apartment so she can get changed.

THE THREE MAKE THEIR WAY INTO THE MYSTIC GRILL, Kol's eyes flickering to Cassandra a couple times. She only ignores him as she makes her way over to the bar to sit down. The two men sit either side of her, Klaus a little closer to her than she liked. Cassandra tried to ignore Kol's stares but it was hard when he was laughing every couple seconds. The woman turns her head, raising an eyebrow at the man expectantly. "Did you even change?" He asks making her glare at him before slapping him upside his head. Cassandra felt satisfied with herself when she saw the pained expression on his face. He didn't get to judge her appearance. She was wearing a tight mini skirt, a black lace bralette and had stolen one of Kol's shirt to put over top. Cassandra had worn way worse so she thought this was an appropriate thing.
"You're a lot more violent than you used to be." Kol grumbles, rubbing his head as he saw the amused expression on his brothers face. Of course he would laugh when he was the reason for the girls drastic change. "This is your fault." He blames Klaus who only smirks at him before glancing towards Cassandra. He liked her new found attitude, especially when she hit kol because he was being an idiot. They overheard Alaric and Meredith outright blaming the originals for the sudden deaths in the town but Cassandra knew about them and they weren't exactly in vampire fashion.
"Oh, come on now. Let's not go blaming the new family in town just because you lot have yourselves a killer at large." Klaus says as he leans on the bar, glancing over at the two who seemed shocked to see them. "Don't mind us. My brother, Cassandra and I are just here to let off some steam." He tells them with a smirk, turning Cassandra's head towards him for a moment. She only meets his eyes, knowing he was silently questioning if it was actually her who was killing people. Although, it wasn't exactly in her style. She gives him a little shake of her head, which makes him nod, understanding what she meant.
"Right."Alaric says, not believing them one bit before glancing at Meredith, the two of them leaving the trio alone. Cassandra waves them off sarcastically before ordering them drinks. Kol wraps his arm around the girls shoulder, almost dragging her off of her stool but luckily the girl had a grip on the bar. She gives him a stern expression but he only sends her an innocent smile back
A dozen drinks later, or it could be more, Cassandra never really kept track. Kol was falling behind as the two had made a bet on who could drink more within five minutes. Cassandra was on her fifteenth drink and that was her taking it slow, Kol was only on his twelfth. "I could always out drink you Kol, give up." She tells the man with a smirk as she leans back, Klaus having to place his hand on her back in order to stop her from falling off of her stool. Cassandra took that as a sign to lean back against him, using him as the non existent back of her chair.
"I'm a little rusty from being in a box." Kol states with a whine as his jaw clenches. Cassandra rolls her eyes, not seeing how that would change anything. He just wouldn't admit that he was a sore loser.
"I'm just hearing lame excuses." Cassandra scoffs as she finishes off her drink. Kol mumbles under his breath, sending a glare the girls way. Klaus only chuckles, finding the situation amusing.
"Oh, yeah. Laugh it up, Nik. You can't do better." Kol mutters towards his brother, crossing his arms as he was giving up but he wouldn't openly admit that to Cassandra because that would give her all the power.
"I don't need to prove anything." Klaus says as he swirls the alcohol around in his glass. Cassandra spins in her seat to face him, grabbing at his arm so she didn't face plant off of the stool. He only looks up at her, raising an eyebrow.
"What? Scared I'll beat you." Cassandra taunts with a smirk on her lips, squinting her eyes at him. Klaus chuckles, shaking his head as he takes another sip of his drink. He only leans his arm against the bar, giving the girl an amused expression.
"I have nothing to be scared of, love." Klaus tells her with a smile as he stares at her. Cassandra only rolls her eyes playfully, leaning closer as she runs her finger down his arms.
"I will bet you that I win." She tells him, sitting up in the stool and giving him a smirk. Klaus raises an eyebrow at her, giving into her game as he knew she wasn't going to stop.
"And what do I get if I win?" Klaus asks suddenly, leaning towards her. Cassandra thinks for a moment, biting her bottom lip before moving to his ear. He furrows his eyebrows as she starts to whisper something. Kol tried to listen in but it was so quiet that he couldnt hear it. Klaus chokes for a second, before gathering himself as the girl pulled away, a suggestive look in her eyes.
"Seem like a fair game?" Cassandra asks as she gazes into his eyes. Klaus clears his throat, nodding his head as he can't help but smile at her. It seemed like they were the only two in the grill at that moment. All they saw was each other, gazing at each other. Cassandra gives him a soft smile before her eyes flicker down to her hands only to notice something odd. Her bracelet wasn't on her wrist. Cassandra furrows her eyebrows, looking at both her arms but it wasn't there.
"What?" Klaus asks, the smile still on his face as he thought she was just messing with him. Cassandra was frantically looking in her bag, not seeing the jewelry anywhere.
"Where's my bracelet?" She asks as she looks at the bar but it wasn't there either. Klaus furrows his eyebrows, snapping out of his trance as he eyes move down to her wrists. "I-i just had it on." Cassandra states as she rubs her arms, glancing around the room trying to lay eyes on it.
"Your daylight bracelet?" Klaus asks curiously, not seeing how the girl could misplace it. His eyes flicker to Kol who only shrugs, he looked genuinely confused too so Klaus knew he didn't take it as a prank.
"Did one of you take it?" Cassandra questions them harshly but they only shake their heads. Kol gets up, looking around for a second before meeting her eyesm
"We can just get you a new one, don't worry." He tells her, not really seeing the big deal over losing it. It wasn't like they didn't know a billion witches that could just make her another one.
"No! I need this one." Cassandra snaps at him making the man falter, his eyes widening. The girl rarely ever got mad at him so he was starting to wonder what was so special about this bracelet.
"It was her mother's." Klaus tells him as he tries to calm the girl down. Cassandra didn't need calming down though, she just needed to find it. She didn't understand where it had gone because she had got into the grill when it was still bright out and she didn't die.
"It's the only thing I have left that was hers." Cassandra states as she sniffles, staring at the brothers who were both looking at her with sympathy. "I need to find it." She tells them before getting off of her seat but Klaus suddenly blocks her path. Cassandra stops abruptly, staring up at him.
"Woah, hold on. If you go out there and the sun comes up, you're dead." Klaus tells her as he stops her from leaving. Cassandra only pushes past him but he envelopes his arms around her. She struggles against him, tears forming in her eyes. Cassandra couldn't let the bracelet just disappear.
"Let me go, Nik." She demands as she fights against his hold but he only tightens it. Klaus wasn't about to let her go out and burn because there was no bringing her back. It wasn't like she was truly invincible like him.
"I promise you, we'll find it. You just have to sit tight, okay?" Klaus assures her as his thumbs stroke her cheeks softly. Cassandra stops fighting against him, allowing him to comfort her. She sniffles, feeling a tear drop down her face but she nods her head nonetheless.
"I remember her from last night, she looks like a tasty little thing." Kol announces as his eyes watch Caroline make her way through the grill. Cassandra's eyes move from Klaus and over to the blonde who was walking in their direction but wasn't actually looking at them.
"Do anything to her and I'll tear out your liver and make you eat it." Cassandra sneers quietly at the man who only rolls his eyes, taking a sip of his drink. Klaus smirks at her before his eyes flicker back to Caroline who was about to walk right past them.
"Caroline." Klaus gains the girls attention. The blonde looks straight to Cassandra, thankful that the girl was there so she didn't have to suffer in the presence of the two boys. Although, she wasn't all too into the plan that Elena and the others had come up with.
"Hey, Cassandra." Caroline says with a smile as her eyes don't even glance at the two originals. Her happy demeanor falters though as she notices the tear stains on the girls cheeks, making her blood boil. "Did you two seriously make her cry." She hissed at them, glaring daggers as she wanted to kill them both for ever making Cassandra feel this way. Kol lets out a dramatic gasp, clutching his chest as he stares at the blonde.
"I am offended that you think that low of us." Kol says with a smirk forming on his lips. Cassandra only rolls her eyes at him, crossing her arms against her chest.
"No, I lost my bracelet." Cassandra answers the blonde who just stares at her, not understanding why she was freaking out about losing her daylight bracelet.
"Can't Bonnie make you a new one?" She asks as she fiddles her fingers together. Kol shakes his head, finishing off his drink.
"Tried suggesting that, it was her mother's." He tells her making the woman nod her head slowly, her eyes meeting Cassandra's and it was then that she noticed the sadness lurking in them.
"I'm so sorry." Caroline says sincerely, frowning as she could tell how much it means to Cassandra by her obvious behavior. Klaus looks over at the raven haired girl, putting his hand on her arm to gain her attention.
"I told you, we'll find it love." Klaus assures the girl as he rubs her shoulder. Cassandra nods, giving a soft smile in his direction. "Join us for a drink?" He asks Caroline, raising his eyebrows. Klaus knew that Cassandra would be more likely to not think too much about her bracelet if Caroline was in her presence.
"I'd rather die of thirst, but thanks." She says sarcastically with a tight smile on her face. Cassandra laughs as she watched the two men be offended by her words. Caroline goes to walk away when she suddenly stops in her tracks. She turns back to Cassandra, moving closer to her. "Can I talk to you for a second?" Caroline asks quietly, glancing around to make sure Alaric wasn't listening to them. Cassandra stares at her for a moment, noticing the blonde glance between Kol and Klaus. "Alone." She adds as she notices the men not leaving them to talk. Cassandra furrows her eyebrows for a second but nods anyways as she sets her glass down. Klaus goes to object, not liking the fact that she was going outside just as he told her not to.
"Ill be right back." She assures as she reaches her hand over to squeeze klaus's before pulling it away and leaving the grill behind Caroline. The blonde was practically shaking the whole way across the street.
"What's this about?" Cassandra asks the girl as she stops by a bench across from the grill. Caroline was nervous, not knowing how the girl would react but she knew she had to say something, she couldn't allow this to happen.
"They're trying to kill them." Caroline says quickly, Cassandra almost didn't catch it but luckily she did. Turning around, her eyes bore into the blondes, filling with rage as it wasn't hard to put it together who she was referring to.
"What?" She asks sternly as she takes a step towards Caroline who gulps. Cassandra was ready to choke the truth out of the girl but luckily she starts to explain what she was saying.
"Damon, Stefan, Elena, their mother-- they're gonna die." Caroline skips over a couple words which makes Cassandra furrow her eyebrows. Confusion floods her as she tries to make sense of what she was actually trying to tell her.
"Okay, Caroline. You're not making any sense." Cassandra says with a sigh as she crosses her arms against her chest. Caroline takes a deep breath before allowing herself to talk again.
"Their mother linked them as one so what happens to one, happens to all of them." She finally gets out making Cassandra's eyes widen as she stares in shock. Was that what the whole ball was about, trying to get her children linked so she could kill them? "And they are going to dagger Kol.." Caroline adds reluctantly which makes Cassandra think to herself for a moment. Of course she wanted to stop Kol from dying again but the whole thing didn't seem too sturdy.
"But Nik won't die from that." She states bluntly, knowing Klaus couldn't die from a silver dagger because he was a hybrid.
"They're hoping he does but I know he won't." She states as she pulls her fingers nervously, hoping the girl believes her and doesn't kill her for even being a part of this insane plan. "I am so sorry, Cassandra. I don't want to kill them. At first I did but I see how happy they make you even if you're mad at Klaus right now. And I am telling you this because I need your help to stop it without them suspecting that I told you." Caroline finishes explaining to the girl who just stares at her shocked for a moment. Cassandra didn't understand their plan exactly since daggering Kol would not kill Klaus who was probably their main target.
"Wait, you're going behind their backs to tell me this?" Cassandra asks with furrowed eyebrows earning a nod from Caroline. "Why? Bonnie and Elena are your best friends." Cassandra states as she backs up from Caroline who sighs nodding her head. She knew the two girls would be furious at her for doing this but she didn't care. Truthfully, Bonnie would probably be on her side as well as she didn't really want to be collateral damage anymore.
"You're my friend too." She admits with a small smile but she wasn't convincing Cassandra at all. Caroline was being sincere but it was hard for the girl to trust anyone after everything she has been through.
"But you hate Klaus." Cassandra points out, feeling suspicious that the girl would suddenly want to be on team originals. Considering all of her friends were wanting to kill them.
"Strongly dislike is the word I would use." Caroline corrects her, giggling a little bit. Cassandra laughs, shaking her head as she smiles at the woman. She was grateful that the blonde was actually being a good friend and not betraying her like everyone else. Caroline could've let it all happen without saying anything but Cassandra was the only true friend she felt she had right now and she didn't want lose that.
"Thank you." Cassandra says as she pulls the girl in for a hug. Caroline smiles at her, tightening the embrace before they pull away from each other. "Seri--" She cuts her self short as she feels an odd sensation move throughout her body.
"Cassandra?" Caroline asks confused as she notices the girl grow quiet, stumbling back in her step.
"What's happening?" She questions before noticing the grey veins forming over her body. Caroline gasps, seeing the girl completely go grey before falling forward into the woman's arms. The blonde lowers her onto the ground, her brain not processing what was happening.
"Klaus!" Caroline yells, her eyes wide as she tried shaking the girl but she didn't understand why Cassandra had also died. Esther said she only linked her children. "Klaus!" She screams again, hoping he hears her from inside of the grill. Luckily he had been listening after Kol decided to mess with Alaric and Meredith. Speeding out after the cries, he stops next to the blonde, his heart dropping at the sight of Cassandra dead on the ground.
"What did you do?" Klaus asks, leaning down in order to look over the girls body. There was no known reason why she would suddenly die, there was no stake, no blood. He didn't understand what was happening.
"I-i uh--" Caroline stutters over her words, not being able to make a sentence as fear flooded her body. She was terrified, staring up at the man who looked like he wanted to rip her heart from her chest.
"What did you do!?" Klaus yells at her, anger in his voice which makes the girl flinch. She couldn't even answer right away as she stares down at the girl on the floor. Caroline was scared to answer him, she knew that he could easily kill her.
"I'm sorry, I wanted to stop it. I didn't even know she was part of it." Caroline says truthfully, a couple tears forming in her eyes. Klaus clenches his jaw as he glares at her before putting his hand on his chest as hearing a scuffle happening outside of the grill.
"Kol." He mutters before grabbing Cassandra's body and speeding over to the back of the grill, placing Cassandra down softly before attacking the group who were carrying Kol's body out of the back door. Klaus throws Damon against the wall after undaggering his brother. "I should've killed you months ago." Klaus threatens as Damon groans on the ground. Stefan goes to attack Klaus but is also thrown back.
"That's not gonna stop Esther from killing you." Damon tells him as he gets up, blocking klaus's hit on him. The man stops for a second before grabbing Damon's throat and holding him up against the wall.
"What did you say about my mother?" Klaus asks, holding the man up off of the ground. Damon takes a second to catch his breath but it doesn't stop a smirk from forming on his lips.
"You didn't know I was friends with your mummy? Yeah, we have a lot in common. She hates you as much as I do." He sneers at Klaus who growls and tightens his grip on the man's neck. Damon let's out a pained noise but suddenly the fight gets interrupted.
"Leave him." Elijah states making the man groan but let Damon go. He glares at the Salvatore's, not understanding why they would do such a thing. What were they even doing to deserve to be killed? Sure, there was bad blood but there was nothing done recently that counted for this. "We still need him, Niklaus." He adds as Klaus clenches his jaw but turns to his brother, noticing him standing at the top of the stairs.
"What did mother do?" Klaus asks him, earning no response from the man as he only glances around looking at the scene in front of him. "What did she do, Elijah?" He asks more firmly this time as anger floods his veins. He knew this whole family bond thing was too good to be true.
"She linked all of you together." Cassandra pipes up as she finally became conscious again. That was an experience she never wanted to feel again and now knew why the originals were so angry after getting daggered. It wasn't exactly fun.
"Are you okay, love?" Klaus asks as he helps the girl stand up, keeping a hold on her as he looks for any further injuries. He couldn't believe he let the girl leave with Caroline, it was obvious something was up once Cassandra's bracelet disappeared.
"You tell me where the witches are or I'll have my sister kill Elena right now." Elijah pipes up, keeping his eyes off of Klaus and Cassandra who seemed too cozy for his liking. Damon scoffs, glaring up at the man.
"You told me we'd have until after nine." Damon points out, knowing it was not even close to the time that they were given.
"I'm sure that Rebekah would be more than happy to start her work early." Elijah tells them with anger in his tone. The Salvatore's glance at each other but they knew that Rebekah would gladly kill Elena when she had the chance.
"I'm coming with you." Cassandra pipes up as she moves over to Klaus who shakes his head. He didn't want her in harm's way and who knew what his mother had planned since she obviously wanted the girl dead as well.
"You should stay here." He tells her as he places his hand on her shoulder. Cassandra only sighs, she knew he was only trying to protect her but she didn't need it all of the time. Plus, sometimes she wanted to be the one to save them not the other way around.
"No. Your mother is for some unknown reason trying to kill me too. I want to know why." She states, crossing her arms as she gives him a stern gaze. Klaus stares at her for a moment before sighing, the girl was only going to follow them anyways if he said no.
"Okay but you get inside right when it's over." Klaus demands as he gives her a stern expression. Cassandra nods her head, sighing as she leans into his touch. They stay like that for a few moments before they head off to find Esther with the others. Elijah had his eyes on them the whole time though. Something was telling him to let them be. They were made for each other and he was only getting in the way. He was only stopping them from being together. Maybe his brothers happiness was more important than his own.

ARRIVING AT THE HOUSE, it wasn't difficult to find them since there was a literal ring of fire around them. It lit up the forest as they made their way up the hill in order to confront Esther and Finn. Cassandra hadn't even known then for more than a day but she already despised them with all her heart. They were willing to kill their family in order to 'right all their wrongs'. If Esther didn't want this then she shouldn't have turned them in the first place.
"My son's, come forward." Esther announces as she notices her children making their way towards them. Finn didn't seem too pleased at this as he steps in front of his mother in order to protect her from his brothers.
"Step, aside mother." Finn tells her but she only holds out her hand with a gentle smile on her face. His siblings were all glaring at him but he didn't care in that moment, he just wanted to be rid of them and rid of this terrible curse.
"It's okay, they can't enter." She states as her eyes flicker over her son's before landing on the woman beside them. Esther smiles at her, her head tilting lightly. "Cassandra, lovely for you to join us." Esther says making the girl scoff as she rolls her eyes. Cassandra couldn't believe this woman was being so calm, she was about to kill her children after all.
"Drop the innocent act. You just tried to kill me." She snaps at the older woman who let's out a sigh, nodding her head. Esther didn't mean to harm anyone else but it was only inevitable that she was to die too. Not only because of the spell she casted to also link Cassandra to her children but because of the link that was already there.
"I had to. My children could never truly stay dead unless I took you down with them." Esther states as she clasps her hands together. Cassandra only clenches her jaw, glaring at the woman with all the hatred she could muster. "You are too close to this. And for that I am sorry. But you are just collateral damage." She finishes making Cassandra scoff, crossing her arms against her chest as she shakes her head at the witch.
"And you're a psycho bitch." Cassandra hisses at her which makes Esther smirk lightly.
"That's lovely. We're stuck out here while the favorite son plays sacrificial lamb. How pathetic you are, Finn." Kol snaps as it was no surprise that Finn was on their mothers side. He always hated what they were.
"Oh, be quiet Kol. Your brother knows virtue you can not even imagine." Their mother sneers at the youngest. Kol only rolls his eyes, glaring at Finn who doesn't pay any mind to them.
"Whatever you think of us, killing your own children would be an autrocity." Elijah announces, not believing that Esther was really going to kill them. After all this time, did she not see that actions have consequences.
"My only regret, is that I did not let you die a thousand years ago." Esther tells them as she frowns, knowing it was her fault that the vampire species even exists in the first place.
"Enough. All this talk is boring me. End this now, mother or I'll send you back to hell." Klaus threatens her as he takes a step forward but Esther didn't seem scared in the slightest, after all she has had a thousand years to see what her children were capable of.
"For a thousand years, I've been forced to watch you. Felt the pain of every victim. Suffered while you shed blood. Even you Elijah with your claim to nobelity you're no better. All of you. You're a curse on this earth. Stretched out over generations. If you've come to plead for your life, in sorry you've wasted your time." Esther explains to them with a shake of her head. The siblings share a glance, knowing they could never willingly make Esther stop the spell. "And Cassandra." She starts to say earning the girls attention as she looks up at the woman. "You say you hate my son, that you do not want him yet here you are by his side. You act like he is the one that changed you into the monster that you became, but we both know the demons you have deep down inside of you." Esther says which makes cassandra gulp but she tries to not allow the witch to get into her head. "Your mother is ashamed of what you've become and that is why she is helping me." She finishes with a harsh tone which makes Cassandra flinch. But the mention of her mother makes her eyes flicker around the circle for a moment before they settle on something that Esther was holding.
"You stole my bracelet." Cassandra says as her eyes widen, noticing Esther playing with something in her hand.
"Easier to connect with the other side when I have personal belongings." Esther states with a shrug, Cassandra frowning for a moment. Was her mother really helping the woman kill them? She never got to know her but something tells her that she wouldn't want this. There was an odd feeling filling Cassandra, making her stumble as she shuts her eyes for a moment. It was like something was trying to take over, fighting against her consciousness. She falls back into Elijah before blacking out, the man hurriedly trying to catch her.
"What did you do?" Klaus snaps at Esther who was only looking at them curiously. She didn't know what was going on but she wasn't exactly complaining that the girl had shut up. Suddenly a gasp leaves Cassandra's lips as her eyes snap open. Kol, Elijah and Klaus all surround her, glancing down at her in order to see what had just happened but the girl only stares up at them blankly.
"Cassandra, are you okay?" Elijah asks worriedly as he holds out his hand but she only ignores his question, getting up by herself as she moves past the men, earning confused looks.
"Stop this now, Esther. This was not part of our arrangement." She sneers at the woman, her eyes glowing as she steps forwards towards the circle. It took Esther a moment but she finally saw the woman inside of Cassandra's body.
"Helena." Esther gasps, not expecting to see the woman in a human form. She didn't think her magic was that strong. Klaus widens his eyes as he hears the name, it was Cassandra's mother. Cassandra had mentioned her name a few times over the centuries. "I'm sorry but it is the only way to ensure everything goes the way it's supposed to." She adds, not letting this derail her plan to end the evil she created once and for all.
"No. I wont allow you to end her life." Helena states, trying to bring down the fire circle but Esther started to fight her. The original witch was much stronger than Helena but the Harrington was angrier that the woman would lie to her and try to kill her daughter.
"Helena. She is a monster. You've seen what she is capable of." Esther states, her eyes flickering over her children who were watching the scene curiously.
"My daughter has made mistakes. But she would make them even if she were human." Helena says as she didn't see her daughter as a monster at all, she was strong. She had watched over Cassandra for a long time and not once did she feel ashamed.
"She has killed many people. Tortured them. Do you not see that?" Esther asks with a scoff as she clenches her jaw, not getting why the woman couldnt see how awful Cassandra truly was.
"It was not her choice to turn into a creature of the night. But she knows right from wrong. She knows friendship. She knows loyalty." She sneers at the woman who rolls her eyes, not seeing the point of all of this. "She knows love." Helena says as she glances over at Klaus and Elijah for a second. Her hands were glowing which catches their attention, she had her powers. "You may think your children are monsters but what makes you any better?" She snaps, pushing against Esther's magic. The woman glares at her, trying to fight against her magic when all of a sudden it feels empty. The Bennett bloodline had been severed.
"No. No! Sisters! Do not abandon me!" Esther screams as she feels the other witches leave her. The flames go out of control making them all cover their eyes for a second. It suddenly goes out, leaving darkness. Klaus steps forward but notices Esther and Finn are both gone. He sighs, looking back at his siblings who were equally confused.
"Please. Tell her that I am proud of who's she become. And that I will always love her no matter what." Helena says with a smile on her face as she stares at the originals. They were all still shocked that the woman was even here in the first place. The woman was glad that her daughter had this sort of protection. They truly cared about her and would do anything to keep her safe. That was one reason that she was able to leave Cassandra in their hands. she just wished she had been stronger when giving birth, maybe she would've got the chance to actually meet her daughter. Suddenly, her body jolts before falling to the ground, darkness consuming her body.
