CASSANDRA WOKE UP THE NEXT MORNING, feeling a little bit better now that she slept some of her crazy off. Klaus had practically watched her like a hawk the whole night to make sure she didn't pull anything again. She didn't even realize how bad it was until Klaus had to physically drag her to bed. She didn't know if it was caused by blood deprivation or just her severe depression that apparently made her want to commit suicide last night, but if Klaus hasn't been there, she certainly would be dead.
"Nik?" She asks, gaining his attention as she rubs her eyes, not seeing what he was doing. Klaus only stops for a moment before shaking his head, not wanting to get her involved just yet because he knew she would stop him.
"Go back to sleep, love." Klaus tells her when he sees the girl was waking up, probably from him slamming his phone against a wall because of the call he had just recieved from Stefan.
"Where are you going?" She asks tiredly, wondering what has gotten him so riled up so early in the morning.
"Stefan has taken the coffins. All of them." Klaus informs her making Cassandra's eyes widen at the news. What did Stefan hope to gain from this? When Klaus found them, he would tear out his heart. "He said he'll get rid of them unless I do as he says." He says as he paces around the room, thinking to himself which was always a bad thing. Cassandra quickly gets up, rushing forward to stop his pacing.
"Nik, stop." She warns, knowing he was about to do something stupid. "Listen to me." Cassandra begs as she tries to pull at his arm but he just continues to walk towards the door. "Nik!" She gains his attention but only for a split second as she could see the pure rage built up inside of him.
"I'm gonna kill him." Klaus was beyond angry but Cassandra couldnt let him act on it. Blocking his way to the door, he only glares at her, although it wasn't truly meant for her.
"But he's right. You do that, you'll never see them again." Cassandra tells the man who falters a little bit, clenching his jaw as his gaze moves to the floor. "Please, think before you do anything." She pleads the man who let's out a long sigh, gripping at his hair as he knew she was right.
"I should've let you kill them last night." He grumbles as this would not be happening if he hadn't stupidly stopped her from killing the Salvatores.
"Now you say this?" Cassandra says with a scoff as she raises he eyebrows at the man. Where was this attitude last night when she was so close to killing Damon but he had to stop her. They were going to get what was coming to them, he said. Well, he just lost that battle since they stole his family.
"Don't shove it in my face, love." Klaus warns her, sighing as he knew it was a big mistake letting them both go unharmed after the stunt they had pulled.
"I'm not. I'm just saying I told you so." Cassandra says with a slight smirk on her face, sticking her tongue out lightly. Klaus meets her eyes, his eyes turning a bit darker as he moves towards her.
"If you don't want me to do anything erratic.. why don't you help me let off a little steam?" Klaus questions, his eyes moving down her body that was only in his shirt since he had changed her last night after her freak episode.
"You're pissed off and you still find time to flirt with me?" She asks with a raise of an eyebrow, smiling at the man as she shakes her head. Klaus smirks at her, pulling her closer as he brushes a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Well, I never got to really talk to you last night with the plotting demise the Salvatore's had planned." Klaus points out with a sigh as his eyes search over her face. Cassandra laughs, rolling her eyes a little bit.
"Chat or try to get me in a secluded room with you?" Cassandra questions with a squint of her eyes, leaning In closer to him.
"I'd say a little bit of both." He teases her with a smirk on his lips before stroking her cheek, his face growing more serious and full of concern. "Are you okay, after last night?" Klaus asks her, referring to the frantic incident where she almost killed herself. Luckily, Klaus had calmed her down and she had been fine ever since, well not attempting again anyways.
"I'm okay... But thank you for stopping me." She tells him with a smile on her face as she plants a soft kiss on his cheek. Klaus doesn't let her move back though, his hand placed thoroughly on her back. "Nik-- I really don't think this is going to help you get your family back." Cassandra says with a smirk as she feels his teeth pull at her ear lobe, his hand making it underneath the t-shirt she was wearing.
"But I need a clear head." He whispers in her ear as he slips a finger in, watching her look into his eyes. "Tell me to stop and I will, love." Klaus says with a smirk on his lips as he moves his fingers in a moderate pace. Cassandra tries to control her breathing but it was hard to lie when her knuckles were turning white, gripping onto the edge of the table. A moan escapes her lips as she tilts her head back, fluttering her eyes closed. Klaus moves down her body so his mouth was near her core. She whines a little bit, opening her legs a little wider.
He takes this chance to relish her like he has been wanting to for the past hour. Her hands immediately grip onto his hair, trying to push him deeper as loud moans escape her lips. Cassandra didn't care about being quiet anymore, she let Nik hear her sounds. "Holy fuck, Nik." She mutters before vamp speeding them to his bed, straddling his waist quickly. Klaus furrows his eyebrows a little bit, wondering why she stopped him but his thoughts were interrupted once her lips met his. He instantly kisses back, his hands going to her back to keep her body close to his. Cassandras hands rip open his shirt, planting kisses down his chest. Klaus runs a hand through her hair as she does this, making her way closer to his belt. He licks his lips as she unbuckles it, pulling down his zipper so he was exposed to her.
Cassandra takes this moment to glance up at him, her eyelashes fluttering as her eyes connect with his. She flashes him a seductive smirk before going down on him. Klaus groans, his right hand flying to her head to grip her hair into a makeshift ponytail. He lets his head fall back for a second before he starts forcing her down further. Cassandra let him take full control of what was happening, knowing he needed to get the built up frustration and anger out. She knew he was close by the way he was speeding up his actions but before she knew it, she was pinned underneath him. Their eyes met once again as he was now hovering over her body. Lust and anger were clear in his eyes and she couldn't help but want him more in that moment. He thrusts into her roughly, letting her take no time to adjust as he slams into her with every movement. She lets out a loud moan, feeling his hand wrap around her throat, keeping her pinned to the bed as he did as he pleased with her. Cassandra wraps her legs around his hips, using them to help him fill her up everytime.
"Oh my-- fuck!" She screams out as he was going at a frantic pace, not even giving her time to get a full breath in and out. Klaus saw her eyes were closed so he only tightens his grip around her neck and forces her to open them in order to look into his eyes as he deepens his pace. After a minute, both of them were reaching their highs, Cassandra moaning loudly as she came, their eyes connected the whole time."Nik, god. That was--" She cuts herself off as she couldn't even finish the sentence, too worn out as he thrusted into her a couple more times before finally stopping when they rode through their orgasms.
"Bloody hell, love." He groans into her ear, almost collapsing on top of her but he catches himself quickly. They were both breathing heavily, sweat glistening their bodies.
"Holy fuck, Nik." Cassandra says after he rolls off of her. Klaus smirks at her, allowing her to rest her head on his chest. "I've missed this type of sex. You know, where we get all of our anger and frustration out during it." She tells him with a smile as she draws lines on his stomach. His laughs vibrate her body as he pressed a kiss to the top of her head.
"So did I." He replied, as they stay in that position for the rest of the morning, mainly so Klaus didn't go kill Stefan and lose his family forever. But Cassandra felt safe in his arms, something she hasn't felt in a while.

WHEN KLAUS AND CASSANDRA SHOWED UP AT THE SALVATORE'S, they thought for sure it was a set up. But there Damon was, standing alone in the parlor as he waited for them to show up to discuss Stefan. Klaus had made a threat towards him and Elena so Damon decided it was best to diffuse the situation. "I think it's time we had a drink, don't you?" Klaus announces as he looks at the glass in Damon's hand. Cassandra only glances over to Klaus who was staring at Damon, as if trying to figure out what was going on inside of his head.
"I think it's long overdue." Damon responds with a smirk as he drinks a sip of his bourbon, his eyes shifting to Cassandra for a moment. She did try to kill him last night.
"Well, you've been so busy what with all your plotting and scheming." Klaus responds with a chuckle, holding Cassandra's hand as he pulls her towards the Salvatore much to her dismay.
"You know me, never miss a chance to plan an epic failure." Damon jokes with a smirk before downing his drink. All their plans failed so he didn't see why this one would be any different. "You gonna try and kill me again?" He asks Cassandra suspiciously as the girl had been awfully calm getting here.
"Don't tempt me." She tells him because they both knew she would very well rip his heart out if she wanted to. "I worked up an appetite." Cassandra adds, winking over at Klaus who doesn't bother to hide his smirk. Damon makes a face, grimacing a little bit.
"I wish you had killed me so I didn't have to hear that." He admits as his eyes flicker between the pair. Cassandra only raises an eyebrow at the man.
"What? That Klaus and I had steamy, rough hybrid-vampire sex before we came here?" Cassandra asks with a gasp as she smirks watching Damon's face contort into one of disgust.
"I think I'm gonna puke." He groans, not needing that image in his head at all. Klaus chuckles at Cassandra's antics as she only shrugs her shoulders.
"Then my work here is done." She announces, leaning against the table not seeing her need to participate in the conversation anymore.
"Don't be so hard on yourself. Who would have guessed that your own brother would betray you." Klaus tells Damon with a raise of an eyebrow, pouring himself a glass of alcohol since the Salvatore had made no efforts to.
"Well, I did have a front row seat when your sister lied to you." Damon says with a smirk on his face as he downed yet another drink. Klaus didn't falter though, he knew Rebekah could be tricky at times.
"Yes, well she's fickle that one. And you say you have no idea of her whereabouts." He asks, not believing that the Salvatore didn't know where his sister was since he was one of the last people to see her.
"That's the thing with younger siblings, you never know what they're gonna do." Damon says with a shrug and a smug expression on his face. His eyes glance to Cassandra who was now quiet so he moved over to her. "Drink." He offered with a polite voice, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. Cassandra only eyes his hand which was next to her head before glaring back at him.
"I will rip off your hand." She threatens slowly, watching him retreat his arm from where it was.
"I doubt you have to worry about us when miss psycho over there can snap at any minute." Damon nods over to Cassandra who gives him a glare, flipping him off. She was so close to ripping his head off but she restrained herself, because she knew how to.
"I can handle Cassandra. She would never willingly betray me." Klaus says as he licks his lips, glancing over to make sure Cassandra was not making any sudden movements towards Damon.
"But she ruined your sacrifice five hundred years ago by releasing Katherine and stealing the moonstone." Damon points out bluntly, stating out the obvious betrayal that happened in 1492.
"That was a misunderstanding." Klaus tells the man who furrows his eyebrows, not seeing the man's logic at all for forgiving Cassandra but not anybody else.
"Katherine had a small part in that and you want her dead, your siblings did whatever they did to you and you daggered them, and yet you forgave her because she gave you puppy dog eyes?" He scoffs as he shakes his head, smirking lightly. "Mikael is right. She is your weak spot." Damon states causing Klaus to glare at the man but he couldn't exactly deny it because it was true. Cassandra was the one person that could be used as leverage against him.
"He didn't just forgive me because he loves me. He knows it was his own fault for what I did." Cassandra answers Damon's question, wanting to leave now that Damon had decided to make this his own little interrogation into their love life.
"So you're not even a little bit angry with her for screwing Elijah for over five centuries? Not even about them getting together recently?" Damon asks, raising an eyebrow at Klaus who instantly avoids eye contact with both of them. Cassandra doesn't notice this, her eyes rolling as she was tired of Damon trying to start something.
"Elijahs dead now and Nik wasn't in my life then so it doesn't matter." She says with a shrug, not thinking Klaus really cared that her and Elijah had a thing because it had happened when she hated him.
"I want to hear his answer." The Salvatore says as he gestured to Klaus who was being unusually quiet all of a sudden.
"Damon, I had a sex life I'm sure he did to." Cassandra says bluntly, you didn't see her bringing up any past sexual experiences that Klaus most likely had in the five hundred years they were broken up.
"But it was his brother." Damon says, trying to taunt Klaus into snapping. It's not like he wanted to hurt Cassandra, he just wanted her to see Klaus for who he really was.
"Nik doesnt care about that. Right?" Cassandra scoffs as her eyes move to Klaus who had his eyes trained to the ground. Realization hit her, leaving her to falter as she shook her head at him. "Is that why you daggered him? Because he slept with me?" She asks, disgust laced in her voice because that was not a valid reason at all to take someone's life.
"I had my own reasons for wanting Elijah dead.. you just seemed to be one of them." He tells her with a sigh, she wasn't the only reason he had daggered Elijah but she was the major one.
"Get over yourself, Nik. So I screwed Elijah big deal. Does it really matter that much to you?" Cassandra says as she rolls her eyes, not getting how the man could be made about something that happened when they weren't even together.
"When we were together, I believed you only had eyes for me. Since I have learned about you and my brother.. I'm starting to think that you weren't all that faithful to--" Klaus didn't even get to finish his thought before he felt a stinging sensation coming from his cheek. She had slapped him.
"How could you say that?" Cassandra asks him in a shocked tone. He was really accusing her of cheating when she had been nothing but the perfect woman until he betrayed her trust. "I never once stepped out on you, Nik. I was perfect even when you were leaving me alone and saying all these horrible things. I loved you even when you said that it was weakness." She finishes as tears fall down her cheeks. Klaus only glares at her, his eyes looking over her for a moment.
"Because it is!" Cassandra freezes at his words, seeing the anger in his eyes as he scoffs, shaking his head at her. "I almost died last night because I was too worried that you were going to be killed by Mikael. I was too focused on you even though you're just a stupid, ignorant bitch who is the root of all my bloody problems. You're not special, you're not perfect, you are an absolute nuisance to me. You would be nothing without me." He tells her, venom seeping through his tone as their faces were so close they could feel each other's breath. Cassandra felt something inside her snap as she took a stake that was on the table beside them and forced it into Klaus's stomach. Taking his head, she smashes it against the wall before her hand goes to his neck but he quickly grabs it, twisting her arm and throwing her across the room. Cassandra only glares at him before speeding back over to him, catching the stake he threw at her and only throwing it back into his shoulder. Her foot comes down on his leg, hearing a sickening crack as he falls down a little bit. She goes to knee his head but he punches her in the gut, causing her to groan out in pain. He suddenly let's his hand grab her neck and smash her against the wall choking her. She grabs at his hands, the hatred never leaving her eyes. Cassandra smirks at him before bringing up her knee and hitting him where the sun don't shine. Klaus groans, his grip loosening allowing her to grab at his arm, twisting it so she was able to switch their positions before kicking him in the stomach multiple times leaving him to try and gain his strength back on the floor. Cassandra only kicks him down and leaves her foot pressing against his trachea.
"I wish you were dead." She sneers at him before letting him go and storming out of the house. Damon was left in shock as he stared down at Klaus who had gotten his ass completely beat. But did he really not learn from before that Cassandra wasn't going to forgive him so easily, especially when he said things like that. Klaus stares blankly towards the door that was left swinging open, internally killing himself for letting his anger get the best of him. It was the one thing that was always going to push Cassandra away. The one thing that Elijah didn't have which made him the better choice. The choice that he basically just made for Cassandra.

SHE WAS TRYING TO CLEAN THE BLOOD OF HER HANDS, Her hands scraping against each other as she had lost control on the way home. Klaus had made her so angry that her urges made her kill the first human she saw. Cassandra hated how she was this weak, how she could barely control it especially when her emotions were high.
"Cassandra?" A voice asks causing her to stop for a moment, closing her eyes as she really didn't want to talk to anyone. "Are you in here?" Caroline had decided to go check on the girl after Damon had told them what had went down between her and Klaus. She couldn't believe the man could say such cruel things to a woman who he claimed to have loved so much.
"Go away." Cassandra tells the person, not bothering to look and see who it was but when the door closed, she knew whoever it was decided to stay.
"Cass--" Caroline says again but stops when she notices the girl by the sink, blood dripping down the drain. She wasn't judging the girl, Damon had also mentioned something about the girl losing control easily.
"I said go away." She sighs frustratingly as no one ever seemed to listen to her when she said that, when she was clearly angry. It usually resulted in her murdering the person trying to help.
"Damon told us what Klaus said to you." Caroline says slowly, taking warning steps towards the raven haired girl, not wanting to spook her. "He's a jackass." She says with anger in her tone but she was glad Cassandra got to beat his ass before she left.
"He roped me in again." Cassandra scoffs, finally getting the blood off her hands making her turn off the sink and dry her hands with a towel. "He told me that he loved me and once again he lied to me." She mumbles, fiddling with her fingers as she tried to keep herself from crying her again. Klaus didn't deserve her tears.
"Well, at least now you saw the real him." Caroline points out, hoping the girl saw that maybe Klaus wasn't as good as she thought he was. That he was just trying to manipulate her back into their old lives.
"Why are you here?" Cassandra asks the girl, furrowing her eyebrows as she was wondering why she decided to even come over in the first place.
"I wanted to see if you were okay." She tells her with a soft smile on her face, trying not to force anything out of her. Caroline wasn't going to make her talk about something that she didn't want to.
"And you care, why?" Cassandra asks, hostility in her voice as she thought everyone was going to just use her now. I mean, Caroline was Elena's friend and Elena hated her. Well, the feeling was mutual.
"I don't know, we were becoming friends." Caroline says with a small smile, shrugging her shoulders. "Before all this Klaus drama happened." She elaborates, remembering they had hung out a couple times but nothing ever escalated because Elena would always intervene. It's like she couldn't have any other friends besides the brunette bitch.
"I'll be fine. I always am." Cassandra says after a moment, knowing Caroline was actually being genuine towards her. The blonde and Bonnie were always nice to her, Cassandra knew they wanted to get out from under Elena they just didnt know how.
"Well, if Klaus tries to get in talking distance with you I will be glad to throw him on his ass." Caroline states firmly as she nods her head. Cassandra laughs a little as she shakes her head at the blonde. It was nice to have someone to actually laugh with for once.
"Thanks, Caroline." She says with a smile, allowing the girl to pull her in for an embrace. Caroline was going to take this friendship seriously, especially since Elena didn't seem to be much of a friend anymore. She only cared for herself and her stupid boyfriends. Caroline had always wanted to get closer to Cassandra but was always afraid of what Elena would say. But she didn't care anymore. In fact, fuck Elena and her stupid bodyguards. Her and Bonnie deserved so much better. They deserved to be happy. And they couldn't have that with Elena.
