( SYNOPSIS )

. . . let me tell you a story about a warrior
who's skin was marred by beasts and
who's heart would belong to one too

SHE was born to the clan of trikru with dark eyes, like that of her older sister anya and her younger brother raiden, and the will to survive beating in her chest. irene was molded into an obedient warrior, one who followed orders and was trained to lust for the blood of her enemies, though deep within her heart she wished for peace, she wished for love. though, as the commander's advisor, the ways of her people had always blinded her to even the smallest pinch of compassion and empathy for those her people quarreled with, such as the azgeda clan or the newcomers from the sky. though as the blazing star descended from the heavens, the girl from the ground was cautious, yet curious, as to what the celestial beings would entail upon the land they were now occupying, the land of her people.

THOUGH as irene predicted, the tension of war between the people of the sky and the grounders beneath them caused the commander to make a decisive decision as she sent her advisor back to their clan to assist in putting an end to the quarrel by advising her older sister, anya, to make peace with the children from the sky in an attempt to halt the war where it was, which had not gone as planned. the chaos which had risen from within the two groups of people had caused a series of events where the term, jus drein jus daun, had continued to become anya's mantra throughout the passing days when she plotted for war which, to her younger sister's dismay, soon became a reality. though during the event of the battle between trikru and the delinquent children, things took a turn for the worst as her people had begun to lose the battle and unbeknownst to irene, some were even captured by the mountain men, her sister and brother among them.

NOW, after irene had retreated back to her clan in trikru, she vowed to rescue her siblings in any and every way possible, even if it meant betraying the ways and beliefs of her people. the young peacemaker would soon venture out with a forgotten friend and in the mean time, begin to form various bonds with her unlikely enemy whilst finding true strength in love.
