He moved towards him and placed his hand on his shoulder. He turned and smiled widely.

"Finally I meet you Mr. Khurana."

"Yeah finally I meet you Mr. Malhotra"

Manik hugged Aryaman tightly. The smile of meeting after so many years was reflecting on their faces.

Breaking the hug Manik asked "How was the flight?"

"It was good." He replied sitting inside Manik's car and Manik took the driving seat.

"Let's go to our favourite place for dinner."

"The pop's diner?" Aryaman asked to which he bobbed his head.

"Woh abhi tak open hai?" Aryaman asked in hindi and Manik made a crying face and said

"Shut up yrr, I really don't understand this hindi. Already dad in the house doesn't leave that language and now you too."

Aryaman laughed and said "Why? Why are you like this? Being American your dad knows to speak hindi aur tu."

"That's because there wasn't anyone to teach me, and after the college I have spent my whole time in business."

"Yeah yeah, the workaholic Manik Malhotra." He teased and Manik laughed at it.

"But why did you have to pick up ur sister from airport?" Manik asked curiously taking a turn.

"Ohh, yeah, actually I had forgotten to get the most important file for the project, by the time she could tell me about it I had already boarded the flight, so she came here."

Manik made a 'oh' face and teased him "You are still the same, forgetting the main things."

"She also says the same." Aryaman replied to which Manik bobbed his head. And stopped.

"Woah, nothing is changed." Aryaman exclaimed looking at the pop's diner. Manik smiled and bobbed his head.

"Lets go" They moved inside, there stood a man who is fat, short height and the owner of the diner.

Looking at them the owner exaclaimed happily.

"Ohh my...my.... You two? How come? After so many years. My god. Come come have a seat."

They sat on their regular place, Manik removed his coat and kept in beside him.

"You boys, after you guys left no college student has come here. But these people fill this place. I'm so so happy to see you all." The owner said making them them smile.

"By the uncle, is the menu same? Or is it changed?" Aryaman asked to which the owner said

"It's the same boys, wait I'll get ur orders, and I know what you guys like." They bobbed their head started looking around.

"So how's the life in India?" Manik asked Aryaman to which he smiled sadly.

"It's okay, but you know after when I left my parents left the world and then my sister took care of me, then everything started settling down and not it's fine I guess.  By the how is everyone at home? Do they still remember me?"

"Well, they do remember you, and haven't told them who is the Indian client. You and your sister is invited for the dinner tomorrow. So do not say no." Manik said at that time the owner came with their order.

"Here is ur order. Enjoy and catch up my boys."

"Let's dig in!" Exclaimed both of them giggling. They started having their food looking around absorbing the view.

After spending 2 hrs over there they stood up and paying the bill they moved back to the hotel.

After the drive of 30 minutes they reached the hotel.

"I'll see you tomorrow." Aryaman said getting down from the car.

"Yeah, sure. See you. Good night."

"Good night." They went to their way. Aryaman entered into the hotel and went to his room directly. He didn't want to disturb Nandini as he knew she must be sleeping.

Here when Manik reached his home he had witness his brother's and sister-in-law's fight which was continuing from past 3 days

"Common guys! Get the room and fight as much as you want. Don't be a treat to these eyes." Manik said smacking Amelia's head who was enjoying their fight with Nick sitting beside her with popcorn.

"Bro! I'll kill you." Amelia shouted louldy making hik chuckle. He went to his room then and freshening up he slept peacefully.

Next day

Aryaman, Nandini and Maira were going to Manik's office which was 15 minuted further towards the hotel.

Aryaman insisted on not leaving them alone. So they were accompanying him. Soon they reached the office and Aryaman moved out with his bag and Nandini came out holding Maira's hand.

They were going to move inside when Nandini's phone rang.

"Aryaman you go. I need to take this call. I'll come soon." He bobbed his head and went inside.

Nandini was attending the call and in that Maira freed her hand from her hold and moved towards ths butterfly which was in the office garden.

After 5 minutes Nandini cut the call and when she looked down Maira wasn't there. She wasn't even around. She got scared.

"Shit! Maira." She looked around but she wasn't there. She moved and asked few people but they said she didn't see anyone.

Here near the parking lot Maira came there following that butterfly with that pink colour panda in her hand. She was going to touch it but didn't realise when she fell down on her stomach.

Someone came running seeing her falling.

"Hey baby...hey are you okay?" Maira looked at the man with tear eyes.

"Are you hurt? Show me?" The man checked her but she wasn't hurt at all.

"Where is mumma?" The man asked looking around.

"Maa...maa..." She cried thinking of Nandini. The man started consoling Maira when Nandini came there. Seeing her there with the man she got relief.

"Maira!" She took Maira from the man's hand making him a bit startle but when he was Nandini talking to Maira, her eyes filled with tears he knew she is her mother.

"Maira...kaha gaye the aap? Mumma ne kitni baar kaha hai aise nahi jaate? Agar kuch ho gaya toh? Aap theel ho na? Kya hua? Ro kyun rahe ho?" Nandini asked to which she pointed down at her panda.

"Pan...oii..." Both man and Nandini chuckled at it. The man bent down picking up the panda giving it to Maira. Maira hugged her hand tightly hiding her face into Nandini's neck.

"Thank you, you found her."Nandini said to which the man smile and replied.

"Well the pleasure is mine. Aue itni cute si bachchi hai yeh." Yes it was Manik's dad who had came to visit the lawyee in the officw due to business issue.

Nandini's eyes widened listening his hindi.

"Aapko hindi aati hai?" Mr. Brown bobbed his head and said

"Yes, that's because of my wife. You here?"

"Oh! Yeah. Actually I came with my brother. Who is dealing with Mr. Malhotra." Mr. Brown made a 'oh' face and said

"Then come inside. Even I'm going inside. Chalo." But Nandini was hesitating.

"You can trust me." Nandini sighed and walked behind him with Maira now looking around. Many of the staff people were curious seeing Mr. Brown with a lady that too with a baby.

"Mr. Evernever, please make this lady sit into the waiting room and tell Manik that the Indian's client family member is there. I'll take your leave." Mr. Brown smiled at Maira waving bye at who happily pouted but waved at him.

Nandini smiled and followed Mr. Evernever who lead her to the waiting room.

In the meeting room Manik and Aryaman discussed the deal ans finally after 1 hrs they signed the papers and the deal was agreed in them.

"So finally, frome friends to business partners. This was some kind of dream of ours." Manik said to which Aryaman bobbed his head.

At that time there was a knock on the door. Manik allowed the person.

"Sir, Mr. Khurrana's family member is in the waiting room. Sir had told me to inform you."

They bobbed their head and went out after packing their things.

"You should meet my sister and someone really special." Aryaman said to which Manik said sure.

They entered into the waiting room to see only Nandini and Maira sitting and Maira talking in her language. Seeing them Nandini left Maira on the floor and stood up.

"Nandini, this is Manik Malhotra my college friend and now business partner." Aryaman introduce them to which Manik smiled forwarded his hand towards her. She smiled and took it.

"Hello, Nandini Murthy."

"Manik Malhotra."

Manik smiled and kept staring at her for few seconds and then they turned their gaze towards the Maira who threw the bag of Nandini on the floor by mistake.

"Who is she?" Manik asked smiling.

"Oh yes! So Manik this one is special person. Maira come here." Seeing her favourite mamu she exclaimed and hugged him through his neck.

"Choco mamu." Aryaman laughed and moved towards Manik.

"Manik, this one is Maira, my niece Nandini's daughter." For a moment Manik was frozen on his place.

But he let his uneasiness go away. He smiled and waved at Maira.

"Hey Maira." She frowned looking at him and looked at Aryaman.

"Baby, voj mamu ke friend hai. Hello bolo uncle ko." She turned to which and asked

"Flend?" To which Manik bobbed his head, Maira smiled brightly and directly threw herself on him hugging him through his neck. They all were startled with her behaviour.

"Flend!" Manik chuckled and said

"Friend!" He peckex her nose making her smile at him. Nandini and Aryaman a lot more shock seeing her so comfortable. Manik saw them and asked what happened through his eyes.

"She isn't comfortable with anyone except us, but seeing her like this with you is shocking."

"Manik Malhotra has the charm you know." Manik said smirking making Aryaman give him a sarcastic smile.
