Avoid mistakes if any!

Nandini's POV

Aryaman left today in the afternoon instructing me to take care and also of Maira.

Talking about Maira she is kind of fine now...but still mild fever is there. I don't understand how come she got fever. I never gave her any cold things recently....

Since Maira was asleep I thought to go near by market. Ghar pe toh koi ane wala nahi... let me just get some milk and some ingredients.

While coming back home my phone pinned with message. Reading it I was really freaked out.

Shit! Shit! Aryaman forgot his main file here.

"Hello! Ritu, send me the file to my immediately. Yeah and now he won't be available. Just see if you can book a flight to New York. Yeah! Thanks."

Aghh! How can this man be so careless. I can't let that file go with someone else. It's really important. Now I guess I only have to leave.

I immediately opened my house's main door and ran keeping things on the table. I just hope Maira isn't awake.

Thank god she sleeping. I'll pack our things.

Taking the suitcase I took out some formal clothes and some casuals. I even packed Maira's clothes. Even though she has slight fever but I can't risk Aryaman's company.

Taking important things I closed the suitcase and looked at Maira who was already up rubbing her eyes. She looks so cute.

"Aww..my baby. Uth gaye aap? Aao yahan" she immediately came into my lap and kept her head on chest. I checked her temperature thank god. It went down.

"Baby..abhi utho hume jana bhi toh."

"Taha (kaha)?" She asked making her as usual face.

"Aapke choco mamu ke paas."

"Sachi?" I bobbed my head seeing her excitement. I was going to say something when my pinged.

Oh! Ritu has sent the tickets! I have three more hours for the flight.

"Chalo! You lazy girl." I said picking her up. I gave her good bath. Should I get her ready?

No she will spoil the dress. I better make her eat something. Moving down with her I removed the milk from the fridge and put it on the gas.

I made her have her favourite cereal. I better get ready before it's too late.

After half hour we both were ready. Holding her hand I moved out of the house and locked it. I looked down to see Rexy near my legs. Aww. I have to leave him here.

"Come here." He came and started licking my hand.

"Okay! Okay! Enough... chalo now go to Natty aunty. She will look after you for few days. We will be back soon."

Bidding bye to Natty aunty and Rexy i held Maira's hand and the other one had the suitcase. Giving the luggage to the driver I sat inside with Maira beside me. I just hope Maira doesn't be cranky on the flight.

After reaching the airport they immediately boarded the flight not before messaging Aryaman about their arrival.

End of POV

New York

Manik got up from his beauty sleep and moved towards the balcony. He just loves the view.

He smiled seeing the birds chirruping. Soon he went inside into his washroom to do his morning chores.

After spending sometime in the jim he came back home only to witness Jennifer and Alison fighting.

"No! It's your mistake. Who told you to keep it on the bed?" Alex shouted at her. She stared at him.

Other family also were standing there. Amelia was clutching Nick's arm and Manik's dad and Nick's dad were watching them from up.

"Ohh, reall! It wasn't my mistake. You were the one who sat on it inspite of me telling you not. But no you never listen to me."

Jennifer also shouted seeing him shouting at her. Manik sighed and moved towards them and asked

"What's going on guys? Is that the way you behave?"

"Manik you don't come in between. And you Alex. Just go to hell!" Saying this she left to her room.

Alison sighed saying " I don't know what has gotten into her."

"It's okay bro. She will come around." Nick said placing his hand on his shoulder.

He bobbed his head and went to his room. Others too left to their respective rooms.

Inside Alex and Jennifer's room they both were glaring at each other. She was sitting on the couch and he was sitting on the chair as the bed was full of coffee.

Before the fight

"Alex! I have put your coffee on the table and your file is on the bed."

"Cool!" Alex shouted from the bathroom. When he came out he took the coffee and started drinking it. Out of nowhere his phone rang. Instead of keeping the coffee on the table he kept it on the bed and when he moved the cup fell on the file.

"Oh God! Jennifer!"

Back to the present

"Stop staring at me." Jennifer said and moved to the washroom. Alex sighed and went out of the room taking his office bag.

After half anf hour everyone were on the breakfast table.

"So Manik. When will your Indian client will come?" His uncle asked

"Oh... probably he is in the flight and will arrive today but the meeting is tomorrow."

"Ohh that's nice! Let me also meet him."

"Sure!" Manik chuckled and continued having the breakfast.

Here in the flight Maira was playing her barbie girl game on Nandini's mobile. And here Aryaman had 2 more hours to reach New York.

"Baby, enough now."

"Mumma!" She bugged and hugged Nandini's arm making her chuckle. She pulled her on her lap and pecked her head.

"Bas kuch der aur phir aap apne chachi ke paas hoge. Abhi so jao. Mumma ko bhi kaam hai na." She snuggled into her neck. She didn't know why she likes this spot alot.

Soon enough she fast to sleep. Nandini made her lie down on the seat properly and got back to her work.
