Manik along with Aryaman and Maira reached the place and Manik was pleased with the house.

Manik looked around with Maira in his arms only to witness a old lady looking at them frowning, he gave her a awkward smile to which she just turned her face making him shrug off his shoulders.

"Oh! Why are you standing here? Let's go." Aryaman said to which Manik bobbed his head.

"Nandini didn't come home yet?" Manik asked sitting on the sofa where as Maira went to play with Rexy.

"Agh! She said she will come by 1. She will be here soon. Here." He replied and gave him the water.

Manik drank it and looked around only to get smile on his lips.

"Acha! Manik. I will get food from the restaurant. You should taste some Indian food. Will you be fine?" Aryaman asked to which Manik just bobbed his head and he left from there to get the food.

Manik's POV

I should call at home. I took my phone out to see battery was over. Taking the charger from the bag I plugged it into the nearest switched and thought to see where this Maira has disappeared.

"Maira? Where are you?" I shouted moving towards the corner of the room. Where did she go now?

Out of nowhere I heard a dog barking. Following it, I reached in onr room only to witness Maira lying down on the floor breathing heavily. Shit!...

"Maira! Maira!" I patted her cheeks trying to wake her up... I don't know what to do. Looking around I tried to see if I can find anything but alas, it's a store room. Picking her up I came out and sat on the sofa. I tried rubbing her back. But nothing happened.

"Baby...look at me... Maira... Maira..." I was shivering seeing her suffering. Nandini... I need to call her. Immediately taking my phone I called her...within 2 rings she picked it up.

"Hello... Nandini Maira isn't breathing properly, where are her medicines?"

"What?... Manik just go to the left room upstairs and near bed there is a box with blue color in 2nd drawer. There will be a nasal spray for her... probably her nose is blocked. I'm on the way." I immediately went inside the room and took out the nasal spray and made Maira lay down on the bed and sprayed the spray in her nose.

I hope she is fine. Her eyes are red, her face also it. After 5 minutes she looked at me with heavy eyes and tears beamed in her eyes. I sighed in relief and hugged her immediately.

"Shh! You are fine. My baby is strong girl right?" To which she just bobbed her head and hugged me more tightly. At that time the door opened with Nandini entering inside.

"Maira...baby..." Maira immediately went into Nandini's arms.

"Mumma..." She cried making me look at her in sadness.

"Shh... it's done baby. It's done. Hmm...aapne kuch khaya? Bhukh lagi hai?" I don't know what she said but Maira just bobbed her head.

"Chalo...abhi aap kuch kha lo phir so jana." She said it to Maira and looked at me.

"Thank you Manik. You were there otherwise I don't know what would have happened." I just gave her a sad smile and said

"Don't say thank you Nandini. Anyways, let's go. Aryaman has gone to get food and also Maira needs to have food."

We trio went out and came down. I didn't know what to do. Atleast with Maira it was fine but when Nandini is here now I'm feeling awkward. Ugh!

I just stood seeing Nandini working with Maira in her arms. It will be difficult. I don't know what got into me I moved towards them.

"Mmm... Nandini give Maira to me. You can easily cook food for her." First she hesitated but then gave in and luckily Maira came into my arms and snuggled into my arms which only gave me happiness.

After 10 minutes the bell rang. I opted to open it. It was Aryaman.

"What happened to my princess?" Aryaman asked after knowing what had happened. Maira was not talking that much but we knew she will be around later on. After feeding Maira Nandini settled to serve us but we denied and told to have her food.

It was evening now, 6:00 PM. Manik was fast to sleep and so was Nandini with Maira. Aryaman came down and went directly into the kitchen and decided to make tea for themselves.

"Yeh chai patti kahan rakhti hai yrr?" He opened the kitchen cabinets and finally found the tea powder and other snacks in one cabinet.

"Wow! Iska toh pura snacks ka cabinet hai. I hope there are hide & seek biscuits." Smiling cheekily he took out the tiffin and his smile couldn't stop seeing his favourite biscuit in it.

He made milk tea for 3 of them and Horlicks for Maira. By thd time he was done he saw Nandini coming down with Maira walking besidd her.

"Hey! Tea is ready. Aaja." Nandini bobbed her head and settled on the sofa. After few seconds even Manik came out of his room.

"Good evening."

"Good evening! Mr. Malhotra. Now please have a seat and also Aryaman special chai!" Nandini sighed at his drama and Manik frowned and asked

"What is chai?" Listening him Aryaman's face fell and Nandini laughed very badly and Maira giggled seeing Nandini laughing.

"Abey! Kamine! Teri toh..." Manik got scared listening his voice and choice words too.

"What the hell! What is this? Please speak in English!" Manik said shrugging his shoulder making Aryaman sigh and Nandini chuckle.

"Chai means tea. It's like a medicine...umm...yeah it's kind of medicine only to wake you up from the remaining sleep." Ohh! Manik made a that face at Nandini and took one cup from the table.

(Maira's cup)

"Aryman! Please keep that thing away." Nandini said strictly looking at the biscuit.

"Arey why? Mujhe khana hai na."

"Aryman. It's Maira's. She will cry if yoh don't stop eating that damn biscuit." Nandini said sternly to which he made pout and looked at Maira who just came from the washroom.

"Maira...yahan aao." She frowned and looked at him and came towards him.

"Yeh main Manik uncle ko dun?" She looked at the biscuit and at him and then at Manik. She took the biscuit and move towards Manik and forwarded to him.

"Khao...eat...khao..." Listening her Manik smiled and took 2 piece and said thank you.

She smiled and gave the biscuit to Nandini and settled beside Manik. Aryaman kept looking at her waiting for his turn.

"Mujhe nahi milega?" He asked to which Maira replied

"Nai! Mumma...no biscuit to mamu..." Listening her Nandini laughed loudly and so did Manik where as Aryaman scoffed at her and had his tea.

"Acha, Manik tomorrow we will go for the site seeing. After that do you want to go somewhere? Or visit a place?" Aryaman asked him.

"I don't know. I mean I don't know this place, may be you can give me a tour. I would love to roam around." Manik replied smiling.

"You know Nandini... Manik is a travel freak. He has gone to so many places but never visited India. C'mon man... India should have been your first choice atleast you won't be regret going late...anyways. Kal higa Mumbai darshan which means city tour." Manik agreed and they continued their talks.
