The unexpected me has again come here... because...

I'm happy! Finally classes started and was feeling relieved knowing that I got good teachers so I'm in a good mood.

Anyways this is just unexpected update. I will probably be off after wards.

Nandini's POV

My whole body is paining, probably because of the jet-lag and also runnibg here and there has taken a toll on on my body. Agh! This alarm also isn't letting me sleep.

I tried to move my body but felt restricted, slowly opening my eyes I noticed Maira sleeping totally on me. I don't know what would I have done if she wasn't with me. I would have ended my life that day only.

The past is gone Nandini, you have to live for yourself and your daughter. Yes I will.

I looked around for my phone picking it up from the night stand, saw some messages and one of them was of Aryaman.

Hey, You are up? if yes then get ready. We are leaving to Manik's office by 10 am.

I don't understand why he worries so much. Inspite of telling him I and Maira will stay in the hotel he is forcing us to come. Ugh! I'll get ready varna late ho jayega.

Untangling myself from Maira I got into the washroom and fast fast had my bath and all and came out to wake up Maira. Picking her up I came out and we both got ready.

"Mumma?" She whispered towards my ears making me look at her.

"Hmm?"

"Kahan jaa lahe hai?" She asked making me smile. "Aapke mamu ke aas aur aapke friend ke paas." She squealed listening me.

"Sachi? Flend she (se)" I bobbed my head and exited the hotel to see Aryaman talking on the phone near the taxi. He guestured us to sit inside.

After 20 minutes they reached Manik's office and directly went to the meeting room where Manik was already waiting doing something on laptop. Seeing him Maira ran to him shouting.

"Flend!" Manik smiled broadly seeing her, he bent down and picked her up on his lap.

"Hey! How are you?"

"Gool..." She replied cupping his face. Nandini and Aryaman smiled seeing them.

"Oh! Hello. We are also here." Aryaman said making them look at him. Manik smiled and bobbed his head at Nandini telling her to sit. She smiled and settled herself on the chair.

"Hope you guys reached hotel properly." Manik said to which Aryaman replied positively.

"Let's do the business."

"Give her to me Manik. I will wait outside in the waiting room." Nandini forwarded her hands and she easily came in her arms. Manik stared at her for few seconds until she left. Sighing he concentrated on his work.

"So, the infrastructure will be in India first and then here." Manik continued with his meeting with Aryaman.

Manik's house

Jennifer was working on her designs in concentration when Sophia came shouting in anger.

"Nick! Where the hell are you? Come out." Jennifer frowned and seeing her sitting on the sofa Sophia asked

"Jenny! Did you see that idiot Nick? He isn't even answering my calls."

"He is in his room." As soon as she said Sophia ran upstairs making Jennifer sigh thinking something might have had happened.

Nick who was reading a file felt the door opening with a thud making hims startled. He turned only to notice his girl angry woman.

"Baby!"

"Don't baby me, Mr. Nick. Where have you been? Haan? I have been trying to contact you from yesterday. Freaking hell. I thought something happened to you." Sophia shouted at him hitting him with a pillow.

"Ow! Baby! Stop.... I... Was busy girl. Oww!" Sophia hit his stomach with her elbow making him groan in pain. She pouted and looked away. He sighed and pulled her in his arms. She struggled to get herself out from his hold.

"Leave me Nick. I don't want to talk to you. Yesterday was our date and you...you forgot about it. Leave me." She cribled moving alot making it very hard for him to hold.

"Stop my moving my lady. You aren't helping at all." Listening him she frowned and looked at him. Understanding his meaning she slapped his chest.

"Shut up!"

"What shut up? I know like I didn't come yesterday but we had some guest for dinner. You know Aryaman right?" She bobbed her head. And he continued "He had come actually he is Manik's business partner. Now you tell me, after a long time we met how can you expect me to come with you?"

She pouted and replied playing with his shirt button "Atleast you could put a message. Stupid."

"The phone is in the office. Anyways I was going to work only after 10 minutes. We will go together." She bobbed her head and hugged him.

"Sorry!" She whispered making him chuckle loudly and hug her more tightly.

Manik's office

Maira was giving a tough time to Nandini who was not ready to leave her into the meeting room where Manik and Aryaman are sitting.

"Fine then. After 15 days you come to India then we will see the plot and all cool?" Aryaman asked to which Manik bobbed hus head and they wrapped up with their meeting.

"Ugh! Finally. Man you have turned out to be workaholic." Said Aryaman stretching his hands.

"Nothing like that okay."

"Haan haan, saale meri yahan kamar toot gayi hai aur tu hai ki 'nothing like that'." He mimicked Manik making him stare.

"What did you say?" Asked curious and confused Manik to which Aryaman smiled and shook his head.

"Thank god! Ise hindi nahi aati. Kamina pata nahi kya karta agar hindi aati toh. Meri hadi pasli kek kar deta." He mumbled moving out of the meeting room and Manik followed him.

Entering into the waiting room they saw a grumpy Maira sitting folding her hands and Nandini was trying to make her understand.

"Hum kisi aur din chale jaate hai na baby. Dekho aapke mamu bhi busy hai...aap kiske saath jaoge?" Nandini asked taking her in her arms.

"Fliend ke sath." She said looking at her making her mother stare at her.

"Kya hua?" Aryaman asked, listening his voice they both looked at them. Maira ran to Manik making him startle. She raised her hands aaking hik to pick her up. He picked her up happily.

"Hey! My friend. What were you doing?" Manik asked nuzzling his face into her stomach making her giggle. Nandini and Aryaman smiled.

"Haan Nandu, kya hua?"

"Dekho na Aryaman. She is insisting to go into a park. You are busy and I don't know this place also." Nandini replied sighing.

"Koi baat nahi. Mera ho gaya hai. Let's go." Aryaman said and turned to speak with Manik but saw Maira and him busy in their world.

"Manik...are you coming with us? Or do you have any work?"

"I don't know. Let me ask my P.A about the schedule." Manik moved out with Maira in his arms and seeing him the employees were surprised. Aryaman and Nandini followed him.

"What else do I have to do today?" He asked his P.A who immediately scrolled the iPad's screen and informed him.

"Sir, your only meeting was with Mr.Aryaman and you have some files to sign for upcoming project."

"Okay cool. Just clear my schedule for rest of the day I will be out. And yeah if sir comes and ask about me tell him that I will directly meet him in the house." Bobbing his head he settled back. Manik turned and smiled looking at them.

"Let's go!" Maira giggled clapping her hands excitedly making all laugh. They came out and Manik gave the keys to Aryaman to take out the car from parking lot.

"Why did take a leave? Maira is stubborn. You must be having alot of work." Nandini whispered making him smile at her.

"It's just, I didn't want to deny her. I can't see her sad." He replied making her look at him. Soon Aryaman came and got down from the car. Nandini settled behind Manik bent down to givs Maira in her arms. In this process their hands dashed to each othed making them shiver but they ignores it.

"You know it's been ages we have visited any park." Manik said

"Why? At home nobody goes or what?" Aryaman asked.

"There no children at home. So yeah..you see..." He bobbed his head and again concentrated on road. After the ride of 10 minutes they reached a park and got down.

They were walking towards the playing area when Aryaman heard someone calling his name. He turned into the direction only to get shocked.

"Oh freak! Man. Yeh yahan kya kar rahi hai?" Nandini frowned looking at the person where as Manik laughed really hard.

"Who is she?" She asked, Manik replied

"Well, you can say his love!"

"Shut up Manik. She isn't my love infact she is pain in my ass. Nandini apne bhai ko bach...." Before he could complete his sentence the girl camw and hugged him tightly making Nandini and Manik shock and surprise respectively.

"Arya! Where the hell were you? You know how much I missed. Gosh! You haven't changed a bit. You know I have lots to say. Oh! Hey Manik. I'm taking him bye" saying this she dragged Aryaman who was making faces but nevertheless left with her.

Manan couldn't control their laugh...they laughed really hard, at one point Manik kept staring at her but soon recovered before Nandini could see him.

"Mumma!" Nandini looked at Maira.

"Yes baby."

"Buk! (Bhukh!)" She said pouting. Nandini looked at the time.

"Shit. Manik is there any restuarant near by. Actually it's Maira lunch time so...."

"You should have told me before. Come." Saying this he held her hand making Nandini startled. But he immediately left her hand.

"It's here only." Manik said pointing at the restaurant. They entered the restuarant and settled themselves.

"What will my friend have?" Asked Manik.

"Pats..(pasta)" Manik frowned listening her, so he looked at Nandini.

"She wants to have pasta."

"Ohk, and what about you?" Manik asked Nandini.

"I'll have pasta only from her plate. She won't be able to finish it." Manik said okay and ordered 2 tomato pasta for themselves and lemon & mint ice tea for Nandini and himself.

"Nandini, what do you do?" Manik asked her who smiled and replied

"I work with Aryaman Manik."

"Hmm... that's nice. It must be hectic with Maira and handling the household work."

"Agh! I am used to it now. Anyways I have to take Maira with me all the time." He bobbed his head and out os nowhere he asked her

"What about your husband? Doesn't he work?" Listening him Nandini stopped smiling making him nervous.

"It's okay if you don't want to share. Actually I'm sorry I went beyond the limit." He apologized feeling guilty making Nandini shake her head.

"Aisa kuch nahi hai Manik." She exclaimed making him stare at her.

"Hmm? What?"

"Agh! Stupid me. Nothing like that Manik. Actually my husband is no more. I'm a single mother and a widow." Manik's world stopped listening her though somewhere he is happy about her being single but still it's was really sad to hear.

"I'm sorry." He apologized feeling bad.

"It's okay. Oh! Here is the order." Nandini exclaimed the later part. While whole lunch time they were hearing Maira's bickering where as Manik was taking a glance of Nandini all the time and Nandini knew about it.
