They had to climb over falled trees and large plants before the crew had finally reached something that seemed like a court with a long table in it's middle.

One of the crew members hummed loudly when they spotted the food that was placed on the table, "Mhm food."

Caspian quickly gave them a sharp glare, "Wait!"

"Huh?"

Edmund, Caspian, Lucy and Adeline carefully approached the end of the table and suddenly everyone flinched back and drew their swords when they spotted three men sitting at the end of the long table.

Edmund approached one of the men, who was completely surround by plants, pointing his flashlight at him.

Caspian's eyes fell onto the man's hand, "Lord Revillian." His gaze then wandered off towards the other man, "Lord Mavramorn."

Lucy drew the hair of the other man back and revealed his face to the rest to the crew, "Lord Argoz."

Adeline eyed the man closer and it seemed almost like he was moving minimal when Lucy had touched him.

The brunette narrowed her eyes at the man whilr she leaned forward and eve's dropped.

After a small moment her eyes suddenly widened and she pulled back, "He's breathing."

"So are they", Edmund added while he gave them a fearful glance. "It seems like they are under a spell."

Caspian immediately spun around to his crew, his eyes widely opened, "It's the food!"

The crew immediately flinched back from the food before Edmund caught their attention. "Look, it's the stone knife!"

His head snapped towards the other's, "This is Aslan's table!"

"Their swords." Caspian leaned forward and grabbed the swords from the three men.

"On the table", the Kind stated before everyone of them places the swords on the table infront of them.

"That's sixโ€”"

"Still missing one."

The swords suddenly started glowing in a blueish light and everyone turned their head when Lucy pointed at the sky. "Look!"

One of the stars above them seemed like it was floating towards them, shining it's light onto them.

No one could take their eyes off of it before it reached the ground and slowly transformed into a beautiful blonde woman, from which a white light radiated.

"Travelers of Narniaโ€” welcome."

Everyone of the crew immediately nowed to her but she lifted her arms, and motioned for them to stand straight. "Arise."

The blonde woman then questioned, "Are you not hungry?"

"Who are you?", Edmund questioned her and the woman answer without hesitation. "I am Liliandil, daughter of Ramanduโ€” I am your guide."

Edmund exchanged a look with Adeline and Caspian before they all approached her. "You are a star?"

Liliandil nodded quietly at Edmund before the word's suddenly slipped out of the boy's mouth, "You are beautiful."

"If it is a distraction for you, I can change form", the woman immediately assured him. Everyone of the men immediately spoke in union, "No!"

Adeline scoffed under her breath before she rolled with her eyes.

Caspian gave her an apologetic look before the blonde woman spoke once more, "Pleaseโ€” the food is for you."

She raised her hands and the candles lit by themselves. "There is enough for all who are welcome at Aslan's tableโ€” Always."

Everyone of the crew still seemed to be hesitant, but she Insisted, "Help yourselves!"

But when the first of them started to take some food Edmund quickly stopped them, "Wait!" He pointed at the enchanted men besides him, "What happened to them?"

"These poor men were half-mad by the time they reached our shoresโ€” they were threatening violence upon each otherโ€” violence is forbidden at the table of Aslan. So they were sent to sleep."

"Will they ever wake?"

"When all is put rightโ€”", the woman answered her with a smile. "Comeโ€” there is little time."

She then started walking and the group of four followed quickly after her.

"The magician, Coriakin, told you of Dark Island?", she questioned when they stopped at a cliff.

"Yes."

Adenine gluped when her eyes fell onto Dark Island, that wasn't far from them.

"Before long, the evil will be unstoppable."

"Coriakin said to break it's spell, we lay the seven swords at Aslan's table", Caspian stated while he gazed at the woman.

She nodded in confirmation, "He speaks the truth." Edmund frowned to himself, "But we only found sixโ€” do you know where the seventh is?"

The star pointed over to the Dark Island, "In thereโ€”" She then spun around to them, "โ€” you will nee great courage."

They all exchanged worried looks before the star addressed them, "Now, waste no time!"

She gave them all one last smile, "Goodbye." Before she dissolved into light and floated up into the sky.

"So, what do you think is in there?"

"Our worst nightmares", Edmund stated while his gaze stayed in the Dark Island right infront of them. Caspian added, "Our darkest wishes."

Drinian who was steering the boat joined in, "Pure evil." He then commanded, "Tavros, unlock the armory."

The centaur nodded his head before he disappeared and Drinian address the archers. "Archers, prepare yourselves!"

"Aye, Captain!"

"Light the lanterns!"

Caspian gave Edmund and Adeline a look, "Let's get ready." With that the Kind and the siblings made their way under deck to get into their armor.

The brunette released a deep breath before she exhaled heavily and made her way out into the corridor.

She was so concentrate on getting her armor on right, that she didn't even realize that Caspian was standing in the corridor, debating if he should knock on her door or not.

The brunette didn't realize his presence before she suddenly bumped into him.

She let out a surprised gasp while she stumbled backwards and Caspian escaped a chuckle while he placed his hands onto her shoulders to steady her.

Adeline gave him a apologizing look, "Oh, I'm sorryโ€”"

The man immediately shook his head at her, "It's all right."

The two gazed at each other in silence, neither of them knowing what to say.
Until Adeline spoke, "What are you doing here?"

The young king seemed a little bit nervous to her, while he played with his finger's, "I wanted to see you before we enter the fog."

The brunette man sighed deeply before his eyes met hers, "Look, In case anything goes wrongโ€”"

Adeline gave him a worried glance before Caspian continued, "โ€” I wanted you to know thatโ€”" He made a long pause before he continued, "I still love you, Adeline."

The long haired brunette gazed up into his eyes in silence, her face showing no reaction because she was completely stunned by his confession.

The man took her silence as a sign that she wasn't returning his feelings and immediately wanted to assure her, "You don't have to say anythingโ€”" But Adeline interrupted him by grabbed his face and planting a kiss onto his lips, like she had years ago.

The young king immediately melted into her touch and Adeline kissed him over and over again before she pulled back to catch her breath.

Caspian's face was completely flushed whole he gazed down into her eyes, a small smile playing on his lips. And Adeline bit her lower lip before she placed her hands onto both sides of his face and exhaled, "I love you, too."

The two slowly leaned into each other, their foreheads touching and after a moment of silence Caspian spoke, "Stayโ€”"

When he saw Adeline's confused face expression he continued, "Stay hereโ€” after this is over. Stay with me in Narnia."

Adeline closed her eyes while she sighed, "Caspianโ€” I can't."

She gazed up into his brown eyes while she explained, "My siblingsโ€” and my family, mey family would never know what had happened to meโ€” I couldn't do that to them."

The King gave her a understanding but disappointed nodd before Edmund suddenly dashed out into the corridor and interrupted them. "We're nearly there!"

Caspian nodded his head at him before he and Adeline made their way up on deck.

The young king then quickly approached the stairs and caught the attention of the crew.

"No matter what happens here every souls who stands before me has earned their place on the Crew of the Dawn Treader!", Caspian's voice declared loudly while everyone looked up at him.

"Together we have traveled farโ€” together we have faced adversity! Together we can do it again! โ€” So now is not the time to fall to fear's temptationsโ€” be strong! Never give in!", he stated while his gaze moved over the crowd.

His eyes met Adeline's while he spoke the next words, "Our worldโ€” our Narnian lives, depend on it! Think of the lost souls we're here to save!โ€” Think of Aslan!โ€” Think of Narnia!"

"For Narnia!", one of the crew members let out a battle cry and everyone repeated in union, rasing their weapons in the air. "For Narnia!"

A smile appeared in Adeline's lips when she saw how much this meant to Caspian, but there wasn't much time and soon they broke through the mist and enetred the waters of the Dark island.

From one moment to the other, darkness surrounded them and the green mist was swirling around the ship.

Adeline gluped to herself while she took ahold of Caspian's hand. The young King gave her hand a small squeeze before they let go of each other and grabbed their swords.

The green mist had now enetred the ship and made it's way around the crew members.

"I can't see a thingโ€” this fog's to thick", Drinian whispered over to Caspian and Suddenly Caspian begann to flinch besides her.

The brunette immediately placed her hand on his shoulder, "Caspian? Is everything all right?"

The man gave her an irritated look before he slowly nodded his head at her. "Yesโ€”"

Suddenly a male voice caught Adeline's and the other's attention.

"Keep away!โ€”Keeo away!"

Adeline narrowed her eyes to see more, but there was just the green thick mist, "Who's there?"

"We do not fear you!"

"Nor I you!", the male voice answered them and Edmund quickly grabbed his flashlight before he searched the stones with it.

Adeline's breath hitched in her throat when his light then suddenly landed on a long haired and bearded man, who was standing by the stones seeming completely disturbed. "Keep away!"

"We will not leave!", Caspian answered him calmly.

The man held a large sword up into the air while.he screamed, "You will not defeat me!"

"Caspian! His sword!", Edmund immediately stated loudly.

"Lord Roup!", the King immediately recognized the old man and approached the railing of the ship.

"You do not own me!"

Caspian quickly approached the archers, "Stand down!โ€” let's get him on board! Quickly!"

Suddenly Eustace appeared from behind the old man, grabbed him with his claws and sat him down onto the ship.

The man immediately got onto his feet and swung his sword around.

Caspian begged, "Be calm my Lord!"

The man seemed competition insane, "Off me, Demon!"

"No my Lordโ€” we are not here to hurt you", the young King tried to reason with him. "I am your King, Caspian."

The man then quietly repeated his name under his breath, "Caspian?"

He turned to face the young man besides him, a expression of happiness on his face, "My Lord?!"

He softly touched his face, "You should not have come! There's no way out of hereโ€” Quicklyโ€” turn this ship around, before it's too late!"

"We have the sword, let's go!", Edmund immediately shouted while he exchanged a hurried look with Caspian.

Caspian nodded his head, "Let's turn her about, Drinian!"

"Aye-aye, Your Majesty."

"Do not think!โ€” do not let it know your fearsโ€” or it will become them!", the old man's eyes were widely opened while he begged Caspian.

Suddenly Edmund sighed deeply from Adeline, "Oh, no."

Adeline gave him a worried lolke while she grabbed him by his shoulder, "Edmund, what did you just think of?"

The brunette boy sighed once more, "Oh, I am sorry!" He then immediately ran towards the railing and peeked over it down into the water.

Suddenly the ship yanked sideways and everyone fell to the ground while screaming.

Adeline immediately got onto her feet, her grip tightening around her sword while she moved closed to the railing and joined Caspian, Lucy and Edmund.

"Look!โ€”"

Caspian frowned at the moving thing that was peeking out of the water, "What is that?"

The old man besides him muttered, "It's too lateโ€” it's too late."

"It's gone under the ship!"

The whole crew was silent before suddenly a gigantic sea serpent emerged out of the water.

A few of the crew members started screaming but the out of nowhere Eustace appeared hit the serpent with a blast of fire.

The beast let out a screeching sound before Eustace wanted to attack it once more. But this time the beast expected his attack and caught him.

The two creatures were fighting before Reepicheep climbed into the serpents head and tried to blind it.

The serpent threw it's head to the left and right and catapulted Reepicheep onto the ship.

After that the fight between Eustace and the beast continued. They disappeared into the water, but after a moment they reappeared and the serpent threw Eustace against one of the stones that peeked out of the water.

The dragon let out a roar before he spit fire at the serpent, who started burning and then disappeared into the water.

Suddenly the old man pushed Edmund aside, "Out, creature!"ย  And three his sword at Eustace, which hit him into his shoulder.

"No! The sword!"

"Eustace!โ€” come back!" The dragon let out another roar before he quickly flew into the air and disappeared.

The old Lord was quickly walking up the stairs towards the steering wheel, "We're all doomed! Turn this ship around!"

"No! Someone stop him!", Caspian immediately called out to the others while the Lord took over the steering wheel.

The whole ship was moving before Drinian suddenly punched the Lord into his face, making him fall to the ground. "Now crewโ€” to your rowing positions! Oars at double speed!"

Adeline frowned while she had her eyes on the dark sky and heard Lucy from besides her. "Aslan, please help us."

Suddenly a seagull appeared between the dark clouds and a smile spread on Lucy's face.

But Adeline's heart nearly jumped out of her chest when the sea serpent suddenly appeared once more and started wrapping around the ship.

The wood started breaking under the pressure and Caspian took over the steering wheel. "Edโ€” Adeline! We will ram the serpent โ€” smash him on the rocks!"

"Sterr her to portโ€” I will keep it on the prow!", Edmund immediately called out to him before he turned his attention to the beast.

He blinded it with the flashlight and caught the serpent attention, which gave Caspian the perfect opportunity.

Adeline quickly grabbed a bow and arrow from one of the archers and focused the arrow on the creatured eye.

For a moment it was like time stood still and the brunette took one last deep breathed before she released the arrow.

The arrows flew through the air and hit tej serpent directly into it's eye, which made it screech in pain.

Caspian called out, "Brace yourselves!"

Edmund jumped and that was the moment when Caspian crashed the ship again the stones, squashing the serpent.

Because of the collidation Adeline fell onto her back, a loud groan escaping her lips.

Suddenly the serpent emerged once more, this time even more vicious than before.

It immediately lunged at Edmund, but Caspian pushed him out of the way and cut off one of the serpents claws, which immediately dissolved into mist.

Caspian exchanged an determined look with Adeline, "We can beat this."

The long haired brunette nodded her head at him while the serpent suddenly started biting into the mast.

"We have to get it closer." Edmund made his way over to the mast and started climbing up.

"All hands on the main deck!" Drinian voice called out over the ship.

"Ready the harpoons!"

Adeline watched as the men grabbed the harpoons and at the count of three everyone sent their harpoon flying into the sea serpent.

The beast let go of the ship and started roaring in pain while Caspian shouted orderes, "Pull it's head down!"

The crew started pulling on the robe but the beast was fighting against them, crashing into the mast while it tired to wiggle out of their grip. And as it seemed the beast was successful.

Adeline spotted Edmund above her on the mast and it seemed like as of he was in some sort of trance.

The brunette girl immediately felt the anxiety rise inside her chest before she called up to her brother, "Edmund! What are you doing!"

Suddenly Edmund's sword started glowing in a bright blue, which finally caught his attention.

Adeline felt the waves crash into the ship while she screamed on top of her lungs, "Do it! Come on!"

The beast them spotted Edmund on the top of the mast and wanted to eat him, but Edmund quickly stabbed his sword into it's maw. Making lightning bolts appear, that crashed into the sea serpent until the beast fell dead into the water.

Adeline and the rest of the crew watched as the beast disappeared into the water and after a moment light broke through the dark clouds above them.

"The spellโ€” it's lifting." The younger girl smiled up at her sister before she suddenly called out to the other's, "Edmund!โ€” Caspianโ€” look!"

The dark shadowy landscape disappeared slowly and after a moment one of the crew members called out, "Narnians! Narnians!"

Everyone gazed out onto the water and Adeline smiled when she saw hundreds of boats, filled with people approaching their ship.

The man and his daughter that they had brought with them into this journey immediately spotted their loves one and jumped into the ocean to greet her.

Edmund and Lucy started placing their arms around Adeline, while they all watched the reunion of families.

"Let's have them on boardโ€” clear the decks!" Caspian shouted loudly before he suddenly appeared next to Adeline.

He placed his hand softly onto her shoulder while he smiled, the sun shining on his face.

Lucy smiled up at the man behind them, "We did itโ€” I knew we would."

"It wasn't just us, though", Edmund stated, making everyone remember Eustace.

"You meanโ€”"

Suddenly Eustace voice came from out of the water, "Heyโ€” heyโ€” I am done here, Lucy!"

The three siblings and Caspian immediately approached the other side of the ship and smiled when they spotted the young boy swimming in the water.

He had a large smile playing on his face, "I am a boy again!โ€” I am a boy again!"

Reepicheep appeared between the siblings and seemed most excited to see the boy in the water, "Eustace! I see your wings have been clipped!"

He then let out a laugh before he jped I to the water while singing, joining the boy. "Where sky and water meet โ€” where the waves grow ever sweetโ€”"

Water came into his mouth and he was excited, "It's sweet!"

His eyes then fell onto something behind Eustace, "Look! Look!"

Everyone followed his gaze towards the white flowers that we're floating on the water surface and Adeline could hear Caspian, "Aslan's countryโ€” we must be close!"

Edmund smiled to himself, "Well, we have come this farโ€”"
