As she arrived the Pevensie girl saw Lucy who was hiding behind a tree and Peter who fought some stranger.
Peter unarmed the stranger and swung his sword at him. But it got stuck into the tree next to him, so the other boy took his chance and tried to grabb it as Peter grabbed a stone from the ground to hit him on the head.
“Stop it!”, Adeline shouted as she aimed her bow at them, the boys both immediately stopped and looked at the brunette.
Suddenly a crowed of Narnian's stepped out of the shadows. Adeline let her gaze wander around as she let it stopped by the handsome stranger who stood besides her brother.
She looked at him sceptical as the boy watched her closely. His sword still pointed at her brothers chest, Adeline narrowed her eyes at him the bow now only aimed at him.
“Prince Caspian?”, Peter asked him questionly, “Yes, and who are you?”, the young boy asked Peter.
In that moment Susan and Edmund joined them, “Peter!”, Susan screamd as she stopped next to Lucy.
Adeline still didn't let the boy out off sight, he had long black hair and very dark brown eyes. He looked a little wrecked and had a bit blood on his lip.
The stranger broke the eye contact as he looked at Peter and then at the sword in his own hands, his eyes widened.
“High King Peter”, he exclaimed with an thick accent, Peter looked at the boy.
“I believe you called”, he answered him, “Yeah, well- I thought you would be older”, the boy replied to him a little surprised as he watched them.
“Well if you like we could come back in a few years”, Peter said as he turned to walk away but the boy panicked, “No! That's alright!”, he exclaimed.
“You're just- just not exactly what I expected”, he told them as he gazed back at Adeline.
Their eyes met for a longer moment and Adeline worried that she got a little red so she looked away quickly.
She had never seen such a handsome young boy, in London the boys weren't really her Typ.
She smiled to herself as Edmund answered, “Neither are you”.
“We have anxiously awaited your return, my liege”, a little Mouse stepped forward.
“Our hearts and swords are at your service”, he told them dramatic as he bowed.
Lucy leaned towords Susan and Adeline, “Oh my Gosh, he is so cute”, she whispered to them excited.
The mouse immediately drew his sword and shouted, “Who said that!?”, Lucy looked at him shyly and whispered, “Sorry.”
The mouse looked at her, “Ow- eh- You're majesty with the greatest respect I do believe 'courageous' 'courteous' or 'chivalrous' might more fit a knight of Narnia”, he explained as he put his sword away.
“Well at least some of you can handle a blade”, Peter complimented the mouse, “Yes, and I have resondly have put it to good use, securing weapons for your army, Sire”, he informed the blonde Pevensie boy.
“Good, because we're gonna need every sword we can get”, Peter said as he turned to Caspian again with an arrogant look on his face.
But Caspian only narrowed his eyes a little and replied, “Well then you probably wanting you's back”, he he handed it over and Peter grabbed it from his hands.
As the group walked the boys lead them waking in the front. So Adeline, Susan and Lucy followed shortly after them, Lucy and Susan talked to each other while Adeline watched the boy infront of her, he was tall and a sharp jawline and when he smirked his perfect white teeth's showed.
The Prince looked over his shoulder and his eyes met Adeline's he smiled and said something to Peter about the trups and fortifications.
But Adeline couldn't heare them that good, she broke the eye contact and looked up to the trees and watched the birds that flew through through the crowns.
After a little while Lucy punched her in the left arm, “Do you even notice that Caspian is practically looking at you all thirty seconds!?”, she asked her sister excited.
Adelina looked at her sister and furrowed her eyebrows, “No he doesen't”, she replied shrugging it off.
„He did!”, Susan told her a little annoyed as she walked a little further forward. Adeline looked at the boy and their eyes met again, he indedd had watched her.
Adi's heart skipped a beat, why was she so excited? she didn't even knew him.
The brunette looked at the ground as they continued their way and after a short while she could feel a presences besides her, “I don't think I introduced myself probably, Your Majesty”, a voice spoke up from besides her.
She looked up and looked into the dark brown eyes from no other than Prince Caspian. “I'm prince Caspian”, he introduced himself as he grabbed her hand and placed a soft kiss on the back of it.
Adeline chuckled softly, “Please, just call me Adeline, Prinz Caspian”, she replied to him as she they held eye contact.
“Then please just call me, Caspian”, he replied with a big smile as he still held her hand, Adeline cleared her throat and took her hand slowly back to her side.
They shyly smiled at each other before they continued to walk besides each other chatting a bit about what the boys discussed a while ago.
As they cought up to the others, Edmund immediately stole Caspian away and continued their chatting from earlier.
And Adeline was immediately grabbed by Lucy, “Don't even think that I didn't saw the Hand kiss he gave you”, she screeched excited.
“Shhh—”, Adeline said to her while she clapped a hand over her sisters mouth. “He just introduced himself”, she told her like it was nothing but on the inside she could screm from excitement.
Finally they arrived at their destination, it was an old term and they were welcomed by the centaurs who let them the way with their swords.
The siblings slowly started walking towards the fortress but Caspian continued to stare at it from afar.
Adeline turned around and made it clear to him that he should follow after them so he quickly approched her and they entered the term together.
Inside they saw everyone making weapons and packing them away, “It's may not be what your used to but it is defensible”, Caspian told them with his accent.
“Peter, Adi! You may want to see this”, Susan shouted to Adeline and their brother. They immediately followed after Susan accomponied by Caspian. There were pictures on the walls of Kings and Queens, with thrones.
Adeline looked at it, “It's us”, she stated still looking at the pictures disbelieving.
“What is this place?”, Lucy asked the prince curious, he looked at them, “You don't know?”, he questioned disbelieving.
He quickly grabbed a flare and walk past them, leading them into another room.
As the light brightened the room they could see a whole wall full of stone sculptures and in the middle was one of Aslan.
Lucy looked at the figure, there was scilence, “He must know what he is doing”, she spoke as she turned to Susan and Adeline.
“I think it's up to us now”, Peter spoke up as they all looked up at the figure of Aslan.
Later they had gathered all in the hall were the sculpture's were to discuss their next steps. “It's only a matter of time, Miraz man's and warmashines are on their way, that means the same man aren't protecting the Castle”, Peter loudly explained to everyone in the hall.
“What are you propose we do, Your Majesty?”, Reepicheep asked him, both Caspian and Peter spoke up at them same time.
“We need to get ready for it”, “To start planning for—” The young boys looked at each other booth a little surprised.
“Our only hope is to strike them before they strike us”, Peter explained his plan to the people a little annoyed from Caspian.
“But that's crazy, no one has ever taken that castle”, Caspian spoke up with a little anger in his voice.
“There is always a first time”, Peter answered arrogant, “We have the element of surprise”, the dwarf spoke up.
“But we have the advantage here”, Caspian reasoned still annoyed. “If we dig in, we could probably hold them off and indefinitely”, Adeline told them as she stepped forward and stood next to Caspian.
Who looked at her for a short moment before he looked back at Peter who narrowed his eyes at the two.
“I, for once, feel safer underground”, one of the Narnia's spoke up. “Look, I appreciate what you've done here but this isn't a fortress”, Peter explained to the Prince, “It's a tombe.”
“Yes, and if they're smart, the Talamrines will just wait and starve us out”, Edmund spoke up for the first time.
“We could collect nuts”, one of the Naria's said. “I think you know where I stand, sire”, Reepicheep spoke up from where he was standing.
“If I get your trups in, could you handle the guards?”, Peter asked as he turned to the zentaurus, they all looked at them.
“Or die trying, my liege”, he answered Peter, “That's what I'm worried about”, Lucy spoke up in a quiet voice.
“Sorry?”, Peter asked his little sister, “Well your acting like there are only two options, dying here or dying there”, Lucy replied to him.
Adeline noded her head, Lucy was right. “You didn't listen Lucy”, Peter told her annoyed, “No you didn't listen, or have you forgot who really defended the white witch, Peter?!”, she asked him starring into his eyes.
Peter looked at her disappointment in his eyes, “I think we've waited for Aslan long enough”, and with that he angryly stormed out of the room.
In the beginning of the Night the Narnian's made their way to the Castle of the Tamarins.
The Pevensie's and Caspian were flewn to the castle by Hippogriffs, Susan and Adeline shooted the guardes with their arrows.
Before the Hippogriffs set them down on in the castle, they continued to eliminate the guards one by one.
Everyone had a part they had to fulfill to make it work, so they relied on each other. If someone wouldn't do their part, people would die.
They climed down to an opened window with the help of a roap and entered the inside of the castle through a study room.
Caspian immediately made his way to the table, “We have to find him!”, he said as he holded up some glasses.
“We don't have time, You need to get the gate opened”, Peter reminded Caspian.
But the Prince only looked at him, “You wouldn't even be here without him and neither would I”, he explained upset to the blonde high king.
Adeline looked at Peter and sighed, “You and Susan can deal with Miraz, you don't need me for that, I can go with Caspian”, she offered her siblings.
“And I can still get to the gate in time”, Caspian tried to resoned, he looked at Adelina for a moment before he started leading the way.
Susan grabbed Adeline's Hand and squeezed it, “Take care”, she told her, Adeline nodded before she followed Caspian down the floor.
“Caspian, Wait!”, she told him harshly while she tried to follow him through the big castle.
After a while they finally arrived by the Dungeon where an old man laid in a cell, Caspian quickly opened it and immediately shook the man awake.
“Five more minutes”, he said to him smiling, the man looked at him shocked, “What are you doing here!?”, he asked the young prince.
“I didn't help you escap just so you could come back here”, he told the boy harshly as he grabbed him.
Caspian helped him up while Adeline watched if there were any soliders in sight.
“You have to get out, before Mira's learns you here!”, he told the young boy.
“He's will learn that soon enough, we are giving him your cell”, Caspian replied and wanted to walk out but the old man grabbed him, “Don't underestimate Mira's like your father did!”
Caspian looked at him shocked and confused at the same time, “What are you taking about?”, he questioned.
“I'm sorry”, the man apologized to him ashamed.
Caspian immediately turned around and started running, “Caspian!”, Adeline whispered loudly.
But the boy didn't stopped, she followed him as fast as she could, her bow and arrows always drawn to shot if it was necessary.
As she arrived by the room Caspian had disappeared in she heard Caspian speaking to his uncle.
“You know some Families might consider this inappropriate behavior”, Miraz told Caspian in a low voice.
“That doesn't seem to have stopped you”, Caspian hissed at him in anger, “You are not like me are you?”, Miraz asked the Prince disgust in his voice.
“It's sad”, he continued as he eyed Caspian, “the thirst time you showed any backbone, such a waste.”
Miraz wife slowly grabbed a crossbow that laid on a shelf over the bed and held it at Caspian.
“Put the sword down Caspian”, she told him, finally Adeline's siblings arrived, “I don't want to do this”, the women continued.
Adeline kicked the door open, her Bow aimed directly at the women, “We don't want you to either!”, she said rage in her voice.
“This used to be a private room”, Miraz told them amused, “What are you doing?!”, Peter asked Caspian annoyed and surprised.
“You're supposed to be in the gate house!”, “No!”, Caspian shouted loudly.
“Tonight for once I want the truth”, he said while he looked at his uncle with hate in his eyes.
“Did you kill my father?!”, he asked him angryly as he pushed him with his sword further to the window.
“You said your brother died in his sleep”, the women said to him disbelieving, “That was more or less true”, Miraz replied to his wife.
Adeline had her Bow still aimed at the women, “Caspian this won't make things any better”, she tried to calm him down.
“We Telmarines would have nothing if we had not taken it, your father knew that as well as everyone”, Miraz explained to Caspian.
The women let the crossbow down, “How could you!?”, she asked disappointed in her husband.
“The same reason you would pull that trigger, for our son!”, he told her, Caspian pushed his sword into his neck and blood drooped down to the floor.
“Stop”, the women shouted and aimed her crossbow at Caspian again.
“Make a choice dear, do you want our child to be king, or do you want him to be like Caspian here. Fatherless!”, he shouted at his wife.
“No!”, the women screamed before she shot Caspian into his Arm.
The Talamrie prince immediatley let his sword fall to the ground and let out a loud scream.
Miraz took his chance and quickly run to the door, Adelina tried to shot an Arrow at him but it hit right next to his head into the door.
But Miraz didn't stopped he continued running and escaped.
When the group stepped into the cold night the fight was already in the making.
The soliders and the Narnia's were fighting against each other.
Adeline quickly drew her sword and started fighting as well, she killed a couple of Soliders that attacked her.
At some point she saw Peter trying to fight his way up to Miraz but his man tried to hold him back.
So Adeline aimed her Bow at the soliders who were in his way and the arrow hit them in their chests one after the other.
After Peter's way was empty she immediately started fighting again. But suddely the gate fell down and one of the minotaurs quickly stopped it and held it up.
Adeline immediately turned around to the others and began shouting, “Get out! Get out!”
All Narnia's started to run to the Gate and tried to escape but the solider holded them off.
Adeline was grabbed bei a Zentaurus and dragged out of the castle, she sat on his bag while she waited outside the castle for her siblings to come after them.
“We need to help them!”, she desperately begged the Zentaurus but he only shook his head, “Your life is more important, your Majesty.”
The gate slowly closed and Peter and Caspian were the last ones to escape. The rest of the Narnian's were trapped and murdered in the castle.
Adeline couldn't look at it it was to cruel, she could still hear them screaming as they rode away.
A tear rolled down her cheek, it was awfull, this people didn't deserve to die.
