Episode 1 Part 1
☀︎︎
8 Years later
Eyes closed, Luna sits with her knees to her chest. A light wind blows past her making her hair flow over her shoulder. Taking a deep breath in, Luna smiles as she can almost taste the fresh air. Opening her eyes, she looks across the neighborhood as the sun slowly rises.
Luna loved to look at the sky whether it was sun rise or sun set. She was always in this same spot, just gazing upon the beauty that the world created.
"Luna!"
Turning around, Luna sees her Aunt standing at her door. Her Aunt gasps while lightly glaring at the young teen.
"Luna you get down from there. You scare me when you do that."
"I'm okay Fallen. I have a little gate to catch me." Luna smiles pointing to a small gate like fence on the top of her roof, near the end of the self made patio.
Fallen sighs smiling, "You're going to give me a heart attack one of these days. Now hurry and get ready for school, please and thank you."
"Sure sure."
Luna turns back to the stare at the sky as she hears her door close. Smiling, she takes another breath.
Hearing a door close, Luna turns her head to the left seeing a teen boy walk out the house next door. She follows his figure as he walks to a blue Jeep then gets in and disappears down the road. She wondered if the boy went to Beacon Hills High, because she was sure she had not seen him before. But then again when she was at school, she was in a different world.
Sighing, Luna pulls herself up and carefully climbs back through her roof window. She then goes into the bathroom and begins to get ready for school.
When she comes out and gets dressed, she stares at herself in the mirror analyzing every detail. Her eyes run over her dark brown curly hair that went a little past her shoulders, her green eyes, the beauty spot right above her lip, and the one slight dimple in her left cheek.
"Okay you are gorgeous. You're a queen. You're going to have an amazing day. And you're going to catch someone's eye. This is your year." She murmurs her daily manifestation.
Her hands straighten out her gray and black checkered skirt before folding her gray sweatshirt into a crop top. Aligning her silver necklaces the right way she sighs and drops her hands to her sides.
"Perfect."
Grabbing her bag off her bamboo chair, she throws the bag over her shoulder and makes her way out the room. She skips down the steps humming a tune as she makes her way to the kitchen.
Opening the fridge she can't help but frown at the lack of food. Doing the same thing to very cabinet in the kitchen, she finally throws her hands up into the air in defeat.
"Seriously what is this place prison?"
A sparkling red apple in a basket on the counter catches her eye. She quickly looks around the empty kitchen then grabs the apple and giggles.
"Chocolate chip pancakes don't mind if I do."
And right before her eyes the apple turns into a plate of pancakes drizzled in syrup. Squealing in delight, she skips over to the table and sits down digging into her delicious breakfast.
"What have I told you about reality warping everything?!"
Luna jumps in her chair letting out a scream before glaring at her giggling Aunt.
"Um literally nothing..."
"I know, I just wanted to mess with you."
Luna rolls her eyes, "That's not funny. You know I hate when you sneak up on me."
"Yeah yeah. But seriously though don't do that at school."
Luna gives her a duh look before stuffing her mouth once more, "I'm not a complete idiot."
Her Aunt looks her over before hopping on the counter to sit and watch the young teen girl.
"Cute fit."
"Thanks..." Luna replies almost in question of what her crazy Aunt would say next.
"You trying to get a boys attention?"
Luna groans dropping her fork.
"What? I'm just asking... I wanna know who you like, who you're crushing on... give me the deets girl."
With wide eyes, Luna stares at her Aunt in shock. Not that she didn't know her Aunt would do this. This was a daily thing they went through. Yet every time it confused Luna more and more. The woman was almost 35 and still acted like a young girl.
"No no and no. That's not how this goes. If I tell you, you gotta spill too."
"Spill what?"
"Why don't you go out with Emerson?"
"We're just friends you goofball."
Her Aunt jumps down from the counter and makes her way over to the fridge. She pulls out a carton of orange juice and pours two glasses of it, before handing one to Luna.
Luna rolls her eyes while stuffing some more pancakes into her mouth, "Sure sure."
"Plus I'm already interested in someone."
Luna scrunches up her face looking up at her aunt disgusted, "Really? Him?"
Fallen Tate smiles before slapping the back of Luna's head.
"Um ouch you butt."
"I like him. He makes me laugh."
Luna scoffs sipping her orange juice, "So you only like him because he makes you laugh?"
"Amongst other things."
Luna gags at the sight of her Aunt's blushing face, "Oh god that's disgusting. So gross. What the hell I'm trying to eat breakfast you she devil."
"Oh shut your mouth Luna. You asked."
"I didn't ask about your sex life. Gosh living in this house is complete torture. If it's not you it's Emerson!"
A tall half naked black man struts into the kitchen grabbing an apple before leaning against the counter, "What did Emerson do?"
"You see! Now why does he have to be shirtless every-time I see him. Do you own a shirt?"
Fallen and Emerson laugh as Luna throws the remainder of her pancakes into the trash bin. She glares at the two adults making them stop instantly.
Glowering at them she crosses her arms over her chest, "Why does it seem like I'm the adult and you're the children?"
Emerson shrugs, "Maybe because you're no fun."
Fallen let's out a snort as she watches the teen girl's eyes full with rage.
"I hate you both."
The two burst out laughing again as Luna stomps out the kitchen.

Luna runs out the house closing the door behind her, then hurries over to a gray Porsche parked in her driveway. A strawberry blonde girl opens the door and stands squealing with her arms wide open. Luna rolls her eyes chuckling before hugging the girl.
"Morning Luna! Love the outfit! I'm kinda jealous."
Smiling, Luna tilts her head to the side, "Well that's definitely a first."
The strawberry blonde grins mischievously before looking at a brunette spiky haired boy in the driver seat.
"What do you think Jackson? How does Luna look?"
Jackson's eyebrows furrow in confusion as he peers between the two girls. He looks at Luna's short skirt that accentuates her long slim legs, before glancing up at her toned pierced stomach and up a little bit more at her decent sized boobs.
"Is this a trick question?"
The strawberry blonde sighs crossing her arms, "Yes it's a trick question. Answer wisely."
Jackson groans throwing his head back thinking of the right thing to say. He smiles and flickers his eyes to his girlfriend.
"She looks good but she's nothing compared to you."
Smiling widely the strawberry blonde leans into the car and kisses Jackson, "Good boy."
Luna grimaces, "Uh can I get in before I gag to death, or worse choke on my own vomit."
The girl shakes her head at Luna before moving out of the door. Luna thanks her and pushes the seat down before climbing in the small backseat.
"So Lydia how was your weekend?"
Lydia sits in the passenger and closes the door, then glances back at Luna with a wide grin, "Amazing as always, you?"
"Unusual."

Scott takes off his backpack and pulls his shirt up a few inches to show Stiles the bandage on his lower back close to his waist.
"It was too dark to see much but I'm pretty sure it was a wolf."
Stiles scoffs walking forward, "A wolf bit you? No, not a chance."
Scott slings his backpack over his shoulder again and heads toward the double door entrance of the school with Stiles.
"I heard a wolf howling."
"No, you didn't."
"What do you mean 'No, I didn't?' How do you know what I heard?"
"California doesn't have wolves. Not for the last sixty years."
Scott looks at Stiles with an incredulous stare, "Really?"
"Yes, really. There are no wolves in California."
"Well, if you don't believe me about the wolf, then you're definitely not going to believe me when I tell you I saw the body."
Stiles freezes then starts to get excited, "You what? Are you kidding me? Why didn't you call me last night?"
"I wish I was kidding. I'm going to have nightmares about it for a month. And I lost my phone... and my inhaler."
"That's freaking awesome... well not losing your phone and inhaler, but this is seriously the best thing that's happened to this town since..." Stiles looks past Scott to see a beautiful strawberry blonde strolling the walkway like it was a fashion show in Milan, "Uh since the birth of Lydia Martin... Hey Lydia, how are you? You look--"
Lydia walks past Stiles while talking to another popular girl.
Stiles sighs before continuing, "Like you're going to ignore me."
Scott laughs making Stiles glare lightly at him.
"You're the cause of this, you know. Dragging me down to your nerd depths. I'm a nerd by association. I've been Scarlet-nerded by y-"
He doesn't finish his sentence as he gets distracted by a drop dead gorgeous brunette making her way over to where the two stood.
"Oh shit incoming."
Scott's eyes widen as the girl stands arms crossed in front of him.
"Uh hi..."
The girl holds up a finger shushing Scott before digging into her bag and pulling out his phone. Scott takes the phone out her hand looking at her in shock.
"Oh um thanks I was looking for this everywh-"
"Look just because I gave you a ride last night, doesn't mean that we're friends. Because we're not... understood?"
Scott quickly nods as she glares at him. Glancing over at an open mouth, wide eyed Stiles the girl raises an eyebrow.
"I-I'm S-stiles..."
"A what?"
Stiles frowns as Scott bites his lip trying not to laugh.
"No not... my name... my name is Stiles."
"Interesting."
Without another word the girl pushes through the two and struts into the school. Stiles punches Scott's arm immediately.
"Ow what the heck?"
"That was Luna Tate! The most popular girl at Beacon Hills High, well second most popular after Lydia. Dude, what the hell was she doing talking to you? And what I'm sorry but ride... she did what to you?"
Scott's mouth drops open gaping like a fish at Stiles' insane assumption, "I-I uh n-no! She almost ran me over last night with her car. She gave me a ride home. I guess I left my phone in her car. Still doesn't help me figure out where my inhaler is."
Stiles nods slowly, "So what half of the body did you find?"
• • • • •
First period English, Scott takes the desk next to Stiles as the teacher, Mr. Curtis walks in. Luna walks in groaning as she realizes there's only two seats left. Both behind the two nobody's she talked to this morning but she did love a window seat. Making her way down the aisle, she slides into the desk behind the boy with a buzz cut and adorable moles on his face.
Luna quickly realizes that this was the boy from earlier in the morning when she was sitting on her roof. She was neighbors with this Stiles character.
Stiles looks at Scott with wide eyes as he nods towards Luna, making Scott shake his head with a light smile.
"As you all know, there was indeed a body found in the woods last night. I'm sure your eager little minds are coming up with various macabre scenarios as to how it happened but I've been told that the police have a suspect in custody."
Scott looks to Stiles who shrugs as it was news to him as well.
"Which means your undivided attention can be given to the syllabus outlining the semester on your desks. Read it now. And by read I don't mean skim."
Luna frowns as she watches Scott look around frantically. Tuning in on a sound nearby, she realizes that he was hearing a cellphone ringing. Gazing about, his eyes fall on the windows of the classroom. Luna follows his gaze to see a girl across the quad. The curly haired brunette sat at a bench with a cell phone to her ear, digging through her backpack.
"Mom, three calls on my first day is a little overdoing it."
"Just making sure you're there okay and you've got everything you need."
"Everything except a pen. Oh my God, I didn't actually forget a pen."
"Don't panic. I'm sure you can borrow one from another student."
"Okay, okay, I gotta' go. Love ya."
Unable to take his eyes off the extraordinary girl, Scott watches the school's Principal join her by the bench she was sitting on.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
The Principal guides her across the quad, their conversation becoming clearer to Scott with every step. Luna frowns watching Scott intensely. She knew he could hear every word of the conversation the new girl was having with the principal. But she wanted to know why.
The door opens, causing the everyone to look up.
"Class, this is our new student Allison Argent. Please do your best to make her feel welcome."
Scott barely breathes as Allison heads for the one empty desk left in the room.
Right behind him.
She puts her notebook down, then glances up to see Scott turned toward her holding out a pen. With a relieved but curious smile, she takes it from him.
"Thanks."
Scott gives her a nod. Turning around, his gaze focuses on the board but he can't take his mind off her.
"Okay, let's begin with Kafka..."
Allison bites her lip as she thinks about how cute the boy in front of her was. She glances around and stops looking at a girl who was sitting to her left, biting the top of her pen.
Allison smiles at the girl, Luna smiles back before leaning back in her chair, thinking.
The bell rings allowing all students to leave their classrooms. The hallway packs full of students as Luna makes her way to her locker. As she pulls out a book she notices the floppy haired boy from this morning watching the new girl, Allison as she tries to find her locker.
Smiling Luna gets an amazing idea; which was to get closer to Allison who would in turn get closer to Scott. Luna knew there was something up with him since she let him in her car last night and she intended to figure it out soon. She knew that she wasn't the only supernatural in Beacon Hills... she couldn't be.
Luna waits until she hears Allison beside her then she turns around running into her. They both drop all their books and a few papers spill out as well.
"Oh shoot I'm sorry. I'm so freaking clumsy."
Allison smiles as she kneels down to help pick up the girl's books, "It's okay! Usually I'm the clumsy one. At my last school I spilled my entire lunch on a cheerleader after I tripped."
Luna laughs standing up, "Well it's only first period, so you still have time."
Allison nods with a smile. She looks to her right and sees a locker with the same number that she had written on a sticky note.
"Well looks like we're locker buddies."
"Looks like it. So you move a lot?"
"Yeah, I just came from San Francisco. We stayed for more than a year, which is unusual in my family. We kind of bounce around a lot because of my Dad's work."
Luna nods leaning against her locker as her eyes find Scott's. Scott frowns before quickly looking away. Luna sighs glancing at Allison.
"So you think you're here to stay?"
Allison looks from her locker with a grin, "I hope so."
Luna leans close to Allison whispering in her ear even though she knew Scott could hear her.
"It seems as if you have a secret admirer."
Allison turns around slightly seeing Scott once again looking her way. She starts to smile back, recognizing him. But then before she can see his reaction, Lydia swoops in front of her.
"That jacket is absolutely killer. Where did you get it?"
Luna concentrated on her pen as she twirls it in her hand. She tunes into Lydia's head smiling as she hears, 'That is ugliest effing jacket I've ever seen. But she's cute so I guess I'll take her under Luna and I's wing.'
Allison glances over at Luna who was not paying attention one bit, "Um.. My Mom was a buyer for a boutique back in San Francisco."
Lydia giggles as her boyfriend wraps his arm around her. They kiss making Luna laugh at an uncomfortable Allison.
Allison lightly nudges her before giving her a confused stare. Luna shrugs mouthing, 'Boy toy' making Allison nod with a grin.
Rebecca Harlowe, better known as Harley comes from an adjacent hall to find Scott dialing in the combo on his own locker. He keeps steals glances back, however.
"Can someone tell me how new girl is here all of five minutes and she's already hanging with Lydia's crowd?"
Stiles shrugs watching Lydia and Jackson kiss with a frown, "Because she's hot," He glances at Luna who smirks at the gross couple before looking back at Harley, "Beautiful people herd together."
Stiles steps up to open his own locker next to Scott's.
"Is that why Lydia isn't herding with you?" Harley chuckles.
"Lydia's a long term project, okay? And trust me, I've got all the patience in the world for a high yield investment like her."
"High yield? Honestly you'd have more a chance with Luna than Lydia, Stiles. At least you could. I know Luna's not a complete bitch like a certain redhead acts and we all know Luna is insanely smart. Maybe you two could have something in common."
Stiles scoffs shaking his head staring at the gorgeous mischievous brunette, "Maybe in my dreams. Anyways Lydia's the girl for me. What's wrong with her?"
Harley shrugs, "Maybe the fact that she doesn't know you exist is one problem. Second would be that she acts like a total airhead. Third... her boyfriend would rip you to shreds."
Stiles rolls his eyes, "Technicalities... Lydia Martin will be mine. Anyways, weren't we talking about the new girl."
Harley nods, "Right, hot people herd together. I don't know... I don't think new girl's that pretty... Scott, you think she's pretty?"
He doesn't even blink, attention consumed by Allison.
"Scott?"
"I'd take that as a yes." Stiles chuckles shaking his head as it's now Harley's turn to roll her eyes.
Head cocked slightly, Scott tunes into the conversation from the other end of the corridor, voices coming into focus.
"A party?" Allison shifts from one foot to another.
"Friday night," Jackson replies eyeing her, "You should come."
Allison looks over at Luna who smiles with a shrug, "I can't. It's Family Night this Friday. But thanks for asking."
Lydia looks at Luna, "You're going right?"
"Of course. I actually do have a life." Luna smirks staring at her nails then looking once more at Allison, "You sure you don't wanna go? Everyone's going after the scrimmage."
"You mean like football?"
Allison frowns as the three stare at her in disgust.
"Football is a joke at Beacon," Jackson scoffs, "The sport here is Lacrosse. We won the state championship the last three years--"
Allison smiles as she hears Luna murmur, "And here we go... cue Lydia."
Right on time, Lydia turns to Jackson running her hands through his hair, pecking his cheek then wiping off the lipstick stain, "Because of a certain team captain."
"Every season starts with a scrimmage to decide the new first line. You ever watch Lacrosse?"
"I'm actually not sure how it's played other than--well, violently."
"Maybe you should just come see for yourself. We have practice in a few minutes. You don't have to be anywhere, do you?"
Allison points down the hall, "Well, no, I was just going--"
Luna smiles following as Lydia pulls Allison down the opposite hallway.
"Perfect. You're coming."
