They went on the same for months with nothing changing, meeting in study hall and then hanging out all day after.
Colby saw the marks a few more times, worse every time, he didn't say anything though. It wasn't his place.
Also he didn't think it was much too worry about it, he knew Sam had cats he figured it was them.
Also it wasn't what he was thinking, there's no way. He's been spending his time with him 24/7, Sam is a ball of joy and happiness, he wouldn't do that to himself.
