Alexandrite unfused themselves and ran towards you who had slowly landed on the ground, sighing in a deep relief, you looked up to see Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Lion and Connie were running to you, made you formed a slight smile on your lips.

"(Y/N)! Oh my gosh, are you okay?" Connie asked in panic, afraid to touch you since she saw bruises we're everywhere on you.

You smiled weakly at Connie, nodding your head. "Yes, Connie. I'm fine. Thank you for worrying" you said, looking back towards the three mother figures of Steven. "Hey, guys. I'm not sure if Steven is alright up there. Should we go and help him?"

Garnet shook her head, frowning. "We shouldn't. Steven trusts us that he can do it. So we must trust Steven as how he trust us" Garnet replied, kneeling in front of you.

Your eyes glistened, starting to look glassy, your lips quivering as your body shook in constant fear. "B-But he-"

"-will be fine" Garnet cut you off. Garnet fixed her visor, looking down directly into your (E/C) eyes and smiled a little. "You got to trust him. He is your hero after all" Garnet joked.

You blushed at Garnet's words, smiling wider when you heard it, you nodded at Garnet, promising to trust Steven as much how he trusted his family; you looked up to the injector, after you promised to trust Steven, it doesn't mean the worries will go away, your eyes saddened when you saw nothing in sight.

All of the sudden, the heart on the injector cracked, shocked all of the people 5 and the others who were saved in the Little Homeworld, made a soft gasp left your parted lips; some of the injector's crystal fell from the high place dangerously, you gasped again, shutting your eyes tightly and embraced for the incoming large crystal to be hitting you.

Nothing came which made you open your eyes hesitantly, surprised to see that the (F/C) platform returned and protected the five of you by being an umbrella to the crystal rain.

You smiled, looking down to your gem, you saw it was glowing again, brighter than before; unfortunately, the sweet moment was ruined when the injector exploded into pieces, releasing thousand of thunderstorms sound as it could be heard a hundred miles away.

The tiny injector on your gem also exploded, leaving your gem to be leaving with a huge crack on your gem which you cried out pain loudly, tears rain down your cheeks as you screamed out loudly in unbearable pain you received; you clutched your gem desperately and needing it to be merged as one again, but you were too distracted with the pain that you didn't realize it didn't work.

Everyone's eyes widened at the sudden huge explosion, they looked down at the huge hole that had been created before looking down to you who still shivering and shaking violently in pain, tears ran down nonstop.

"(Y/N)!" Pearl cried out to you, rushing over.

You began to hyperventilating for air, your lungs felt super tight that you could hardly insert oxygen in them, you coughed, vomit, the pain only grew and grew; your five best friends rushed to you, looked at you in worry as they continued to ask what happened and how did it happen.

"S-S-S-Steven...! I-I need t-t-t-to find S-S-S-Steven...!" you struggled to speak, but they all got the message and nodded before helping you to stand up.

Connie lends you a hand while the Gems went to find Greg to tell him about the news. "Steven!" Connie called out loudly.

In every step, you winced in deep pain but still tried to remain still until you reach to Steven, Steven had only healed you once so you figured he can do it again in his will.

After a few moments of suffering in each step, Connie finally reached to the huge hole where the huge injector blew up, Connie's eyes roamed around the place, starting to panic when she felt your weight starting to drag her down and your body sinking to the ground.

"Steven!" Connie desperately called.

"Connie!" Steven called from below, waving his hand in the air. His smile widened when he saw you with Connie, very unaware with your situation. "(Y/N)!" Steven called but weirded out when he heard no call was received from you. He then turned to Spinel, smiled softly at her as his shoulders are now felt lighter. "I'll be right back. Really"

Steven then ran off away from Spinel and rushed to both of his favourite girls, his arms were wide open, ready to receive the long-waited hug but then halted his feet when he saw Connie dragged your almost lifeless body to him; with worries, he ran to you as if his life depended on it.

"(Y/N)! Oh, stars! What happened?" he asked quickly, embracing you tightly as Connie let you go and stepped aside.

"I-I don't know! When the injector blew up, she suddenly felt really ill!" Connie explained.

Steven's eyes widened when he realized and recalled back about the small injector on your gem, he assumed that when the huge injector blew up, the ones that ere on your gem followed it suit; Steven's teeth gritted, softly laid you down on the ground.

He watched as your eyes opened weakly, he breath hitched when he saw your eyes were not (E/C) orbs and instead was filled with milky white colour; his eyebrows furrowed, he moved your shirt to look at your gem and his face paled when he saw how bad the crack on your gem was.

He looked at you, cupped your face desperately. "No, no, no! (Y/N), stay with me!" Steven said, kissing your forehead rather harshly.

He didn't get an answer and instead he only received the sound of your breathing slowing and eyes slowly closed; your body felt tired, the feeling you've never felt ever since you were born, sure you've dealt about your dad and his abusive behaviour but the tired feeling you felt at the moment is different; you felt as if you could just rest peacefully on the cold, dirty ground.

Steven quickly licked his palm, smashed his drool on your gem in desperate, his eyes burning and held back the upcoming tears that we're threatened to fall.

He watched you closed your eyes, head tilted to the side as your chest stopped moving; Steven's breath hitched again, his tears are now streaming down his cheeks recklessly as sobs starting to escaped his lips.

The Gems and Greg had just arrived in the scene, walked out from the van, they were about to scream in joy but stopped and gasped when they saw Steven mourned on your lifeless body; Spinel who are not that far from the scene turned her gaze to look at the others, her eyes begin to be watery when she saw you laid on the ground with your face faced her and few tears ran down your cheeks.

"(Y/N)... No..." Steven sobbed. "Don't leave me, please..." Steven begged, clutched on his jacket that he lends to you.

The others formed frowns on their faces, tears streamed down as sobs were shared, they couldn't believe that the most innocent and pure girl they've ever met had left them; to be honest, they enjoyed your company, they love your laughs, your cute little innocent smile, your adorable pink tinted cheeks when you're happy or around people you love, they love you as you are.

As Steven was just about to get up, a sudden bright shine has occurred on your body, Steven was unaware about it for a second but then jolted away when he saw your body was glowing and your gem glowing brighter; Steven's and the others' eyes widened and a few gasps were shared, your body was glowing so bright that it almost blinded them.

The glowing stayed for quite a moment and slowly dimmed when the process of healing finished; everyone unshielded their eyes, their eyes adjusted to their surrounding before their gazes moved to you when they heard a sharp gasp coming from you.

You quickly sat when you gasped, you coughed multiple times and tried to regain your oxygen, your chest moving fastly and your adrenaline suddenly jolted running; when you have regained your full oxygen and returned to your normal self, you looked down to your hands, tilting them to see that it had been healed, touching your cheeks, you didn't feel like wincing, touching your waists, you didn't feel the unbearable pain any more.

You looked up to see everyone was staring down on you, made you smiled softly but awkwardly at the same time. "H-Hi?"

"(Y/N)!" they all beamed and immediately hugged you tightly, you could feel your bone-crushing but you ignored the feeling and welcomed the hug.

"Oh my gosh! We thought you're a goner!" Connie cried, literally.

You only could smile at her.

"Don't do that again dude! I-I think my heart can't take it anymore!" Amethyst chimed, sobbed aggressively.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't know what happened. I-I-"

"I think you should see someone else first" Greg advice, wiping his tears away, head motioning to your side.

You quirked an eyebrow, turning your head to the side to see Steven still had his eye widened and tears running down his red puffy cheeks; you excused yourself before getting up and walked to Steven; you smiled softly at him, handing him a hand, he grabbed it and stood up before continuing to stare at you.

"Steven. I-I'm sorry. I didn't know what-"

You stopped apologising when Steven grabbed your whole body and shoved you into his chest, he hugged you tightly and clutched your clothe in desperate of your touch, he continued to sobbed on your shoulder and his shoulders continue to shakes violently; you smiled, returned the hug that Steven had long-waited for.

"(Y)-(Y)-(Y/N)..." Steven sobbed, hugged you tighter.

"Hm?"

"D-Don't leave me..." Steven asked, sounded desperate.

You leaned your head on his shoulder, sighed softly through your nose. "I won't. You are my hero after all"

Steven hesitantly pulled away from the hug, he wiped his tears with his arm, made you giggled at how adorable Steven was being, you slowly shrugged the pink bubblegum colour jacket off your tiny body before handing it to Steven; Steven met his gaze with yours, the feeling of his heartbeat racing was once again felt.

"Here. So you won't catch any colds" you informed, wrapped the jacket around Steven.

Steven smiled so widely that his cheeks burnt red and teeth were showing, he inserted both of his arms inside of the sleeves which instantly warmed his cold body up, he looked at you, seriously in love with you; you otherwise returned the smile, taking Steven's hands in yours before giggling.

Greg who was far from the scene began to speak. "He's definitely in love with her" Greg suddenly began.

Connie nodded. "Yeah..."

Greg looked down to Connie, seeing she has the biggest smile she could ever form made Greg a bit weirded out. "Are you okay with this though? I thought you like my son"

Connie nodded again and sighed. "Yeah, I'm totally fine with this. Besides, I see Steven as my best friend now. That feeling is now long gone. And... I like this ship better! They look adorable with each other!"

Greg let out an airy laugh, he felt the weight on his shoulders were lifted and gone, he seriously did worried about Connie liking Steven and Steven liking someone else; he felt so relieved when Connie said that and he knew she was telling the truth.

"Guys!" Steven called, running to his family with a wide grin on his face.

"Steven!" the others yelled, ran to Steven only to crash him into a very tight hug.

You who watched from afar grinned at the adorable sight of the family reunited, sighing through your nose, you turned to see Spinel walking away sadly, you frowned, you jogged to Spinel, calling her out multiple times to only receive no answer from her.

"Spinel!" you called softly, finally catching up with her. "Where are you going?"

Spinel sighed, her frown grew. "I've got work to do. Friendship isn't going to be easy for me. I'm gonna have to work at it. You make me wanna try, but..." Spinel looked down to the ground, sighed rather deeply. "I've already messed up bad with you. Heck, I even killed you!" Spinel reasoned. "I just wish I could just start from scratch with somebody..."

You smiled softly at her, setting a hand on Spinel's shoulder which made her look up at you. "Spinel, you didn't have to start a scratch with me. I'm already your friend. From the very beginning!" you beamed.

"But I-"

Suddenly a howling of winds rushed into the scene, a large shadow appeared on the ground and covered the hole with it, looking up, Spinel was shocked to see the Diamond's spaceships appearing.

"What?" Spinel screamed in shocked, instantly hiding behind a crack from her injector.

"Knock knock, Steven!" Blue Diamond chimed.

"It's us!" Yellow Diamond continued.

"The Diamonds?" White Diamond spoke, landing the spaceship to be hanging on the edge of the cliff. "Are we interrupting something?" she asked obvliously.

"Uh... Yeah!" Steven yelled, standing beside you.

The spaceship revealed three Diamonds standing highly on a white platform, slowly floating down onto Earth, they all had the familiar grin on their faces; Steven only hummed in unamused.

"Yellow, Blue, White? What are you all doing here?" Steven asked, his pinkie intertwined with yours before fully intertwined hand-in-hand with you, made his cheeks burnt red at the contact.

"Well, Steven, we were all talking and-" Yellow Diamond talked before stopping, sniffing in the air before her face scrunched in disgust. "I'm sorry, but what is that smell?" Yellow Diamond asked, waving her hand in the air with her face held disgust.

"I-I don't smell anything" you answered surely, gripped Steven's hand tighter since it was the first time you've met the Diamonds upfront.

"Ugh, that's because you live here" Yellow Diamond spoke, waving her hand further.

Blue Diamond gasped, looking at you with admire. "Steven! Is this the girl you've been talking about a lot? The prettiest girl you've ever seen?" Blue Diamond asked dumbly, made Steven blushed further.

"Y-Yes. Diamonds, meet (Y/N). (Y/N), the Diamonds" Steven nervously answered, trying to cover up.

"It's nice to finally meet you! I've heard a lot about you from Steven! All good things!" you politely greeted, bowing a bit.

White Diamond smiled at your politeness. "I like her already. She's so polite and perfect! You're a lucky one, Steven!" White Diamond complimented, made Steven's face were now fully red.

"Anyway, we were talking, and we decided-" Blue Diamond was cut off by White Diamond.

White Diamond pushed both tinier Diamonds' heads away, grinning widely. "This is taking too long! Steven! We've come to Earth to live with you!" White Diamond said, pointing directly to Steven.

You smiled widely. "Well, isn't that great?"

"I-It is, trust me! B-But my house isn't big enough for all of us!" Steven tried to reason.

White Diamond smirked. "Oh well, I'm sure we could make do with um..." White Diamond hummed, her eyebrows furrowed when she looked at Beach City was destroyed. The sound of car alarm triggering in the distance. "Has your planet always been this..." White Diamond paused, waving her arm before looking down to Steven and you. "...destroyed?"

"Not that we're judging" Blue Diamond quickly interrupted.

White Diamond flinched, standing up almost hurriedly. "Goodness, no! Because judging anything based on appearance is wrong!" White Diamond smiled widely.

Steven who was beside you squinted his eyes, basically glaring at White Diamond's words but it seemed that White Diamond was unfazed by the soft glare from Steven.

Steven quickly spoke. "Yeah, I don't know about this" Steven said, almost rolling his eyes in annoyance.

White Diamond frowned. "But, Steven, it's been so boring since you've left! I guess we'll just wait for you to visit us whenever you're ready..." White Diamond whined out loud, slowly stomping back to her spaceship dramatically, hoping that Steven would make her stop her way.

But instead, Steven only gave the Diamonds an amused smile, then he felt his jacket jerked downwards, tilting his head to the side, he saw you gave him puppy eyes, the most adorable look you've ever made; Steven could even feel his eyes burning at the bright look you're giving, made his cheeks went redder and his bottom lip bitten.

Steven sighed. "Don't be like that, guys. I-It's just, everything is super messed up right now and I'm right in the middle of saying goodbye to-" Steven paused, thinking. Slowly, he created an idea which made him grinning sheepishly. "Do you guys remember Spinel?"

White Diamond halted her movements, turning back around to walk back to the hybrids, looking down, she gave you two a confused face. "I'm sorry, who?" White Diamond asked, bending over.

You got the message Steven trying to give, made you smile at the idea before turning to Spinel who still hiding behind a huge rubble. "Spinel, you've met the Diamonds before, right?" you asked, starting to get excited.

"Y-Yeah, but they've never seen me like this...!" Spinel nervously answered, covering her face with one of her hands before walking out from her hiding.

Steven smiled further. "Blue, Yellow, White! This is Spinel!" Steven introduced.

Spinel cleared her throat. "My Diamonds..." Spinel uttered, triple saluting at the Diamonds in front of her.

White Diamonds gasped, both of her hands covered her mouth, Blue and Yellow Diamond squinted their eyes to look better at the tiny pink gem, their eyes widened in realization.

"Pink's little playmate?" Yellow Diamond questioned.

Blue Diamond grinned widely, her eyes softening at the little pink gem still saluting at the three Diamonds. "One of Pink's lost treasures," Blue Diamond said.

Steven smiled sadly at Spinel. "Mom left her on a floating garden in space"

"It was sad to even think of getting abandoned, let alone being in one" you spoke, shoulders tensed at the thought which Steven quickly realized and held your hand tighter.

"You poor thing" Blue Diamond pitied.

"Hah, it was only 6,000 years. I could do that standing on my head!" Spinel joked, turning her stand from feet to hands and squeaked her shoes together.

Yellow Diamond let a sincere laugh out loud, her hands clutching her stomach as she laughed. "Only 6,000 years! Haha! It's true! That's no-o-thing!" Yellow Diamond continued to laugh. "...and that goofy handstand..." Yellow Diamond wiped off a tear of joy, still giggling a bit. "I like this Gem"

"She's adorable, and so much like Pink" Blue Diamond said next, her smile widened.

White Diamond was touched, her voice almost shaking. "Spinel, I-" White Diamond paused, clearing her throat. "Steven, since the Earth is so disgusting, we'll just take Spinel back to Homeworld with us, and you can stay here" White Diamond bluntly said.

"Really?" Steven said, hoping it was true.

"Huh?" Spinel asked in confusion.

"Come live with us in the palace,
There's a room waiting for you"

The Diamonds began to sing to Spinel, pointing to their huge spaceship.

"Come on...
Come on...
Come on...
Just let us adore you...
Come live with us in the palace,
There's a room waiting for you"

The Diamonds lined up, smiling softly to Spinel.

"Come on...
Come on...
Come on...
Just let us adore you..."

Steven shared a concerned face with you, his face almost wincing at the song he's hearing; you only squeezed his hand and land your head on his shoulder to calm him down, smiling dreamily.

"Yes we know that you're not her, but you were hers
You know what it meant to love her,
And you remind us so much of her"

They paused, waiting for Spinel's answer.

"You think you could handle them? They're not exactly easy to get along with" Steven said, affirming Spinel of their real behaviours.

Spinel smiled, bouncing slowly. "Today, right here, right now
I'll love again;
I've already found someone..."

"Just let us adore you...SpinelToday, right here, right now"

Diamonds sang in the background.

"I'll love again;
I've already found someone..."

Spinel cutely walked up to the Diamonds, marching, one step at a time.

"Come live with us in the palace,"

"There's a room waiting for you

Yes, I know that you're not her, and I was hers,
But you know what it meant to love her,
And you remind me so much of her"

Spinel walked up into Yellow's hand, smiling at her widely before charge herself to White, luckily White managed to catch her on time as Spinel moved onto Blue Diamond's.

The Diamonds seemed to be happy with the new presence of Spinel, the platform was created once again on their feet, floating the three Diamonds away from the ground and nearing the spaceship.

Spinel who floated with the Diamonds turned around and smiled to you and Steven with peace was given, your heart softened at the sight, which you waved at her while watching them entering the spaceship.

"Today, right here, right now,
We'll/I'll love again;
We've/I've already found someone"

The spaceship formed its hands into a heart before zooming back into space, leaving the humans and gems being on Earth alone.

With that, Steven sighed happily and turned to you.

His happily ever after, finally.
