Tit... Tit... Tit... Ti-

The alarm clock's button got pushed and stopped the annoying beeping.

The clock was read 6:00 am which was super early for other people in Beach City.

Not for Steven of course, he still need to do the check ups around the city, just to make sure everything is on their places.

A deep yawn was escaped out of Steven's huge gapped lips, which he covered his mouth soon.

A tear was formed on his right eye, he just wiped it off his eye before stretching further towards the sky.

The sound of bones popping sent him a huge relief since he probably slept incorrectly and revealed him having his back hurts.

It was kind of a habit of his to stare around of his room like a stupid idiot.

His eyes travelled from the untouched television, to his action figures, then to his family and friends photos and finally ended up him looking at his wardrobe.

A tint of feeling lazy strucked him, making the 16 years old boy grunt deeply under his breath.

Without speaking any words, he laid back once again at the cimfy bed before slowly drifting back to sleep.

The warmth of the bed began to covered Steven's cold temperature.

The thick blanket was covered his whole body which leaving his head exposed.

A random dream starting to play in his head, it was about a random (H/C) girl.

Even Steven wondered who the girl was.

She's looking like the same age as him.

Not that skinny or too fat (just be yourself), her tall was absolutely under Steven's, her (H/C) hair was randomly swinging and brushed her hair which met her beautiful (S/C) smoothly.

Her outfit wasn't looking all good too.

Her (F/C) long sleeves shirt and dark jeans was all torned apart.

Bruises were everywhere to found into her exposed skins, her eyes were crying her balls out, her figure was shaking because of fear.

Her figure was sitting down with her knees all close to her chest, her arms wrapped around her tightly.

"Hey..." Steven finally spoke out, making the (H/C) girl flinched immediately.

With a very high hesitation and anxiety, her pale face slowly turned to the dark curly haired boy.

Her lips are now quavering in fear.

"M-my dad isn't here, right?" she asked, her voice were very sore and raspy.

When you fully turned your face to him, he could clearly see your lips were dripping small amount of blood.

Steven was clearly shocked by this.

To answer the question of yours, he looked around to his surrounding, seeing that no one was in his dream.

"Your dad?" Steven asked. "Well, I didn't see him anywhere here... But most importantly, are you okay?"

He brought his feet slowly approaching you, making you flinched at every steps he took.

"Hey... I'm here not to hurt you... I wanted to help..." Steven told, taking another step forward.

"H-Help?" you asked as in confused.

"Yeah, help. I wanted to help you"

"Then please help me to stop dying..."

"Huh? Dying?"

"Yes, I'm dying. I couldn't feel anything. I felt like... I'm slowly drifting away..."

Your words frightened him to death, making him wide awake from his dead sleep with very uneven breaths.

His eyes wondered around his room.

When he happened to remember your words, he quickly ran out of his house without changing out of his pajamas, and ran towards every part of Beach City.

His bare feet was aggresively touching the warm sands, as he was running all around the Beach City.

His eyes wandered all over the place, hot and warm sweats was dripping down to his chin.

His hands were forming two fists, worried sick.

He first went to search around Big Donut, then around Connie's neighbourhood, and at last around his own home.

His worries grew more and he finally decided to tell the Crystal Gems about you.

"Garnet! Amethyst! Pearl!" he called out, slowly revealing them camenout of their own room.

"Steven? What happened to you?" Pearl asked worryingly, patting his back which he had it bent.

Steven's palms was on his knees, trying to catch back his breath that had been stolen earlier away fromnhis lungs.

Sweats were dripping down rougly from his face to the ground, made the wooden floor slowly wet.

"I... I..." Steven tried to spoke, but his breath was all out.

"Take a seat first Steven. Let's talk" Garnet suggested, but Steven shook his head to sides aggresively.

"N-No! There's a girl in danger!" Steven yelled, finally gained his energy back.

Pearl had her mouth gapped small, Amethyst was touching her head in distress and Garnet just crossed her teeth before gritting her teeth together in anger.

"Where is she...?" Garnet asked.

"I don't know. That's why I came back here. I wanted all of you to find her with me, we don't have much time left!" Steven announced.

The Crystal Gem was silent for a while before nodding in agreement.

Without any other words was sparred, they all went to search the girl with (H/C) hair.

Minutes by minutes had passed and they still hadn't found you.

They started to get worry sick, what if you died when they had found you?

What are Crystal Gems for if they can't help a dying girl?

No point on being the saviour if the universe when even a simple girl they couldn't even protect.

Soon, a bright idea had formed into Steven's mind which he needed to do it quickly.

"Guys! Help me sleep! Maybe I coukd find her in my dream!" Steven shouted, making the others nodded instantly.

Garnet and Pearl were singing a slow lullaby as Amethyst became Steven's pillow by using her laps.

Amethyst stroked Steven's curly hair gently, tried to make him as comfortable as he could to be sleeping on the warm sands.

Finally, they nailed it.

A soft snore was heard coming from Steven, making the trio stopped on doing their earlier tasks.

"Steven, please hurry up" Pearl pleaded which the other nodded in agreement.

Eyes opened slowly, revealing himself was in a dark and pitch black room.

Immediately, Steven sat down and looked around to find the girl from his dream earlier.

"Hey! Are you here?" Steven called out to you.

It was silence.

He called out again, only to be receiving with silence.

He began to panick.

For the third time, he called again, then a rough cough was heard loudly, echoed in the room.

"Hey..." you said before coughing blank colour water out off your lungs, it began to hard to breath.

Steven quickly got up and ran to you, holding your hand tightly into his own.

His facial expression was showed as fear and terrified, his hands were shaking.

"Hey, hey, where are you? I need to know where you are so I could save you" Steven said in a panic tone.

You coughed again but now it turned into dark coloured blood.

"I-I'm around... a shore... Please... hurry..." you told, coughing up blood again.

Steven nodded before shutting his eye tightly and woke up from his dream.

A sharp gasped was escaped out of his lips, made the Crystal Gem startled.

"Did you-"

"The shore! Hurry!"

The trio followed the running and panicked Steven close behind.

He was leading them to a shore nearby and instantly found a (H/C) girl with her head was half in the ocean.

Steven ran towards your unmoving body, it was starting to feel cold.

The Crystal Gem was shocked.

Without any time was being wasted, Steven and the others brought you to their beach house and did some CPR.

After several of times, you still hadn't awake.

The gems thought that you had passed away while they were searching.

They instantly regretted.

Tears were dripping down their cheeks as they began to sob, Steven did the same.

A hard cough was heard and the floor gotten wet once more.

Steven's frown slowly turned to happy smile which widened each second.

He sees you, weakly laying down on the wooden floor.

Steven cried agsin with the tears of joy and hugged you tightly.

You flinched but Steven igmored it by hugging you even tighter.

When you confirmed that he didn't mean any harm, you slowly returned his embrace before smiling a little.
