Your mother dryed her hands using a cloth nearby after she had done the dishes for the day, she huffed and looked around to see if there was something that she hadn't done in the kitchen, once she was confirmed she had done everything, she nodded and walked outside the kitchen room and into the living room where Karen and Junior was watching television at; your mother smiled ans sat beside Karen, slinging her hand on the armrest as she huffed tiredly, receiving a string of giggle from Karen, Junior was too focused on the cartoon to hear anything the grown up said.

"Slow day?" Karen asked your mother, patting her thigh.

Your mother rolled her eyes and groaned. "You have no idea. All my meetings are cancelled and nothing exciting is happening. I'm bored~" she groaned, slipping off the couch just like a kid who was overly bored waiting in a waiting room.

Karen laughed, grabbing a load of your mother's hair gently and started to braid. She smiled as she was doing so. "You should enjoy the holiday while it lasts. You don't get this opportunity often, you know?" she teased.

Your mother pouted, leaning her head on Karen's knees. Karen let her do so just like how she did previously. "I just hope I could see her again, you know?"

Karen raised an eyebrow. "(Y/N)?" she asked. Your mother nodded. Karen smiled at your mother's childish behaviour. "I miss her, too," she admitted.

Your mother closed her eyes, settling in with Karen's gentle touch on her head. "I can't believe the last time I saw her was in the hospital. How in the world did she got a rock in her stomach?" she complained. "Ugh, seeing my baby in that state is dangerous for my heart!"

Karen smiled at her words. "That's very lovely of you," she told.

"What is?" your mother asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

Karen giggled. She took another pile of your mother's hair and braided it. "You know. It's only been a week since you saw her and you're already too attached to her."

"How can't I be? She's in the hospital for over a month without me knowing! I swear I had a brief heart attack when I heard she was in the hospital!" your mother waved her hands around in the air.

Karen smacked her hands and told her not to move much. Your mother frowned and crossed her arms. "I know you mossed her dearly, but she has a life, too. You can't meddle much," she gently adviced.

Your mother sighed in defeat. "I know..." the doorbell was rung suddenly. Your mother stood up and dusted her shirt. "I'll get it," your mother told. Karen nodded and continued to snuggle with her son.

Your mother climbed downstairs, scratching her stomach that was suddenly being itched, once she arrived on the ground floor, she approached the door and opened it, eyes widening in surprise.

"Carra? What a pleasant surprise...?" your mother said, turning out to be questionable.

Carra smiled gently at your mother. "You seem disappointed. Were you expecting someone else?" she teased.

Your mother scoffed immediately. She waved her hand. "Psh, what? No! No, I'm not disappointed at all!" she quickly covered up.

"Really? I was looking forward for it, though," you came out from Carra's back with a wide smile.

Your mother's eyes widened as big as it could as her jaw dropped onto the ground. She spread her arms open in the light of speed which you giggled at. You engulfed her into a hug. "Oh, yes! I'm super disappointed! I wanna die in the corner if you didn't show up!" she exaggerated.

You giggled and gave her the last squeeze before parting. "You know, I'm not the actual surprise here," you told.

Your mother raised an eyebrow at your words and looked around to see if anyone was there but found none; again, another person stepped away from behind Carra's back and she swore she almost flipped a table when she saw it was a boy, he had curly hair and a very nervous smile.

"Ma'am, this is Steven," you introduced him.

Your mother squinted her eyes, scanning him up and down which made Steven even more nervous. "I will never give you my blessing because I will never hand over my baby!" she shouted and turned to you. "(Y/N)! Don't tell me you're here for my blessing because I will-"

You giggled and shook your head. "No, ma'am. We're not here for that. It's something much more important," you informed.

Your mother instantly grew concerned, she stepped aside and let the three of you enter, she closed the door after all of you had entered and she quickly walk beside you; she wrapped her arms around yours and looked at your face while walking, you smiled at her childish and clingy behaviour.

"Was it the hospital bills? I told you that I had taken care of it!" she said nervously.

You shook your head. "No, no. It's not that. I mean, thank you for paying everything, it means so much to us. And no, it's something really important we want to say to you."

Your mother only nodded and stopped saying anything, she led the three of you upstairs where Karen and Junior was waiting, Junior looked away from the television and glanced at you before glancing back at the TV and looked back at you to make sure he wasn't delusional to see you were clinbing up the stairs; Junior's face brightened up quick as he got off the couch and rushed to you with wide open arms, you smiled and kneeled, spreading your arms open.

"(Y/N)!"

"Junior!" you picked him up and stumbled om your feet. Steven noticed this and quickly grabbed you by your shoulders, steadying you. "Oh, wow. You're getting big! And heavy!" you giggled.

Junior smiled and hugged your neck. "I've been eating lots!"

You raised both of your eyebrows. "Really? That's great!" you cheered.

Junior looked at Steven, hiding slightly on your neck. "Who's that?" he whispered to you.

You giggled and looked at Steven for a second. He looked down at you with a cheeky smile. "He's... my boyfriend," you told Junior.

Steven blushed as you called him that, he cleared his throat and looked away, you pecked his cheek, making his cheeks blossomed further as he covered his mouth; Karen approached you with a smile and greeted, taking her son into her arms as Junior wrapped his arms around his mother's neck.

Karen smiled sweetly at you and Steven. "It's nice to meet you again, (Y/N). And it's nice to finally meet you, Steven," she looked at Steven. You bumped your shoulder on Steven gently which he looked at you and Karen before waved awkwardly at Karen. "Are you guys hungry? Want some lunch?" she invited.

You shook your head and smiled politely at her. "Sorry for interrupting your moment but if I may steal a couple minutes of yours, I- we have something to say to the four of you," you said.

The adults looked at each other for a moment and sat down, Junior sat on her mother's laps; you pulled Steven from his sleeve which he sheepishly followed you, you stood in front of the adults anxiously as Steven continued to look at his toes, you bit your lower lip and cleared your throat.

"Uh... so," you started. The adults raised an eyebrow and continue to stare at you. "I... We..." you stuttered. You looked up at Steven as Steven looked back at you. You inhaled deeply, huffing your chest and gave them a serious look. "Ladies! And kid," you called. They were startled but had not say a word yet. "We decide to move out!" you said.

Your mother immediately stood up. "What?" she yelled louder than your siren alarm.

Karen stood up after, setting her son on the couch. "When are you leaving?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

You bit your lower lip. "Tomorrow," you asnwered.

Your mother hugged herself. She flashed you an upset look. "That soon? Can't you stay for another week? Or- Or stay the night here? We can have a sleepover! Let's go shopping?" she panicked.

Karen held her shoulders and held her back. "Calm down, (M/N)," she comforted.

Your mother's eyes teared up. "How can I calm down? She's moving out! And I only know her for a year and a half!"

"I- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to come out to you like this. Maybe we should go," you began pushing Steven.

Your mother grabbed you quickly and engulfed you into a very tight hug as she sobbed. "Don't go!" she begged.

You hugged her back and began to tear up as well. "I'm sorry. We just wanted to live by ourselves. We- We wanted to travel all over the world together. I'm sorry for telling you too late. But I hope you'll support us," you whimpered.

"Of course I'll- I'll support you!" your mother sobbed. "I'll do whatever I can- can to make you hap- happy!" she sniffled.

You smiled and hugged her tighter. "Thank you, ma'am."

"You ready to tell the Gems?" you asked Steven who was driving.

Steven inhaled and sighed heavily. "I don't know. I'm kinda scared of how they'll react. They may not react how your mother did so I'm kinda anxious about it," he confessed.

You patted his arm gently. "You'll be fine," you smiled at him.

Steven smiled. "Thanks."

Soon, Steven pulled up at his house, h the both of you stepped outside the car and closed the door, Steven's breaths hitched as he stared down at his home as he stared at it longingly, you noticed his staring and made your way towards him; you intertwined your hands with Steven's hand, catching him a bit off guard but then he relaxed, he grinned at you and pecked your temple before sighing gently.

The both of you walked towards your home, entering the house, you frowned as you looked around; you've been inside and out of the house for too long that it broke your heart that you might not return to this place, you loved each corner of the room and the house was beautiful as it is; too many memories was made inside the house, good and bad and worse, they all were made there, so it made your heart clenched slightly; the first time you woke up was in this house, and it'll end up the last place you've ever stepped into in the town.

"I'm going to miss this place so much..." you muttered.

Steven nodded, looking around his house as well. "Yeah. Me, too. I've lived here for as long as I can remember, and now... I can't even believe I'm leaving this place by my own choice," he said in disbelief.

You nodded at his words. "Tim sure fly by fast," you told.

"It sure does," Steven gripped your hand tighter. "Now, let's get that Cookie Cat," he smiled at you.

You nodded and reached the fridge, taking out a freezer that was inside the fridge, you handed it to Steven as he grabbed it from you, he opened the freezer and nodded when he saw it was indeed the both of yours handmade Cookie Cat inside it; you had tried it once since Steven was insisting for you to taste, it was not bad at all, it tasted almost exactly like other sandwich ice cream out there.

Steven and you leaned on the kitchen's counter anxiously, you continued rubbing his arm as you tried to calm him down, maybe it didn't work much since he was as anxious as you are; soon, the warp pad lightened up brightly and faded out, revealing the three mother figures on top of the warp pad in style.

"Oh! Steven, (Y/N)! Were you waiting for us?" Pearl asked in surprise as they approached the two of you.

Steven opened the cooler with a smile. "I sure was," he said as hebrevealed the handmade Cookie Cats.

They gasped delightfully. Amethyst jumped on the counter and grabbed one as Pearl ans Garnet grabbed one as well. "I thought they stopped making them," Amethyst said in surprise.

Steven nodded. "They did, so we made it ourselves," Steven exclaimed, hugging you from your side. You smiled at his action. The three mother figures smiled at the sight. Steven then pulled a Cookie Cat. "You can kinda tell," he cringed at the misshape on the ice cream.

Garnet smiled and took a bite. "They're delicious," she complimented.

"Mm-mm!" Amethyst said with a full mouth, rubbing her full stomach joyfully.

You were quite surprised to see Pearl was eating as well. Pearl smiled and her eyes were sparkled. "Scrumptious!" she told.

Amethyst grabbed another Cookie Cat from the cooler and let out a laugh. "Remember when you used to sing that song for us?" she said, chuckling.

You looked at them in confused. "Song?" you asked.

Steven rubbed his neck. "It was... kinda embarrasing moment. I thought my power came from ice cream back then," he admitted, making you giggled in disbelief.

Pearl cleared her throat. "If I may..." she said. Everyone waited for her to sing as you were the most eager one to listen to the song.

"Oh~! He's a frozen treat with an all new taste!" Pearl started rapping which you were deeply surprised at and jaw hanging in awestruck.

Then, Amethyst joined her. "'Cause he came to this planet from outer space!"

What surprised you even more was that Garnet was singing, too. She joined the other two as she held up a Cookie Cat. "A refugee of an interstellar war."

"But now he's at your local grocery store!" Pearl sang her heart out.

"Cookie Cat!"

"He's a pet for your tummy!"

"Cookie Cat!"

"He's super-duper yummy!"

"Cookie Cat!"

"He left his family behind," Garnet told with a frown on her face. You noticed her reaction but didn't say anything since Steven was taking the lead.

Steven grabbed a Cookie Cat from the cooler, staring at the ice cream sandwich in hand. "That's right. He did leave his family behind," he told sadly. You frowned and knew where he was going with that.

Amethyst rolled her eyes playfully. "That's not how it goes!" she said.

Steven held Cookie Cat in the air. "I think maybe Cookie Cat had run out of ways to grow on his home planet. And even though it must've been hard, and he loved his family so, so much, maybe he had to leave to keep moving forward," Steven said out of the blue.

All of the attention are now on Steven. Amethyst raised an eyebrow at him. "We're still talking about ice cream, right?" she asked.

Steven put down the ice cream back into he cooler and inhaled deeply. He grabbed you by the waist and held you close. You quickly look down, not really wanting to see their faces when Steven let out the news. "Everyone...!" he started. "We've decided to move out!" he exclaimed. "Don't worry about us, we have a very comprehensive plan to visit all 39 states before we decide where to settle down. And I can still video chat my new therapist while we're on the road. Do not try to talk us out of this!" he finished, shutting his eyes tightly.

The mother figures were surprisingly quiet baout it. Pearl then decided to break the silence. "When are you leaving?" she asked.

Steven opened his eyes and you brought your chin up, looking at the three mother figures that literally had no upset or panicked look on their faces. "Uh... tomorrow," Steven said.

Pearl nodded. "Ah, so soon! Well, all human adolescents need to seize their independence evetually," she said. She walked forward and gave the both of you a hug. She pulled apart and smiled. "I'm so happy for the two of you," she finished before leaving the place.

You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. Amethyst was next and climbed down the counter. She held up a peace sign with her fingers. "Yeah, bud. I'll miss ya two. Peace!" she left shortly after.

Steven then looked at Garnet who was the only one left in the kitchen. He looked at her with deep confusion written on his face. "You guy know I may never come back, right?" he asked.

Garnet then placed her hands on yours and Steven's shoulder with a smile. "We know, Steven. This will be an exciting new chapter in your life. I hope you find your happily ever after," she said before leaving the place as well.

Steven breathed out shakily. "That... went well... right?" he said, feeling confused than ever.

You looked at Steven with a worried look. "Are you okay?" you asked him.

Steven nodded and pecked your forehead. "I just... didn't expect that reaction. I thought they might be more upset," he admitted.

"Are we supposed to be glad?" you asked him again, motioning towards their calm responses earlier.

Steven scratched the back of his neck. "I guess," he said nervously.

"You... what?" Bismuth yelled so loud that you were sure the whole Little Homeworld shook for a second. She was kneeling in front of Steven with a deep depressed look when Steven break the news to them. "What's the problem, Steven? Are you mad at me?" she looked like she was about to burst in tears, which she might.

Steven smiled softly at her. "Of course I'm not mad at you," he answered. You who were on the sideline watched the scene unfold.

Bismuth brought Steven into her arms, squeezing Steven as she didn't want him to leave. Her eyes brisked tears as you could tell from afar. "Then, don't leave!" she pressured Steven. She quickly backed away from him. "Am I smothering you? I get it, I get it," she said, continuing backing away.

Steven looked at her with sad eyes. "Bismuth..." he called.

Bismuth then shapeshifted her arms into a hammer and a saw. She held a nervous smile. "How about I build you a nice vacation house just outside of Little Homeworld?" she suggested. Her eyes then darted towards you as she held a desperate smile. "You would like that, right, (Y/N)?" she asked desperately.

You approached them with a sad smile. "Sorry, but we already planned this three weeks ago. We had everything planned out," you told her sadly.

Lapis then approached the two of you with a very angry look, briefly summoned her wings and outstretched her arms. "Listen to me, you two. You can't run away from yourselves! Wherever you go, you'll be there. Trust me, I know," she said, making you furrowed your eyebrows at her words.

You heard someone fell. You turned around and saw Peridot was on her knees and sobbed her heart out. Snots and tears were everywhere. Steven approached Peridot, kneeling and held a hand out for her to hold. "Peridot. Come on, it's okay," he comforted.

Peridot grabbed his hand, continuing sobbing. "Where am I going to find another Steven as good as you, huh? I like this one so much!" she sniffled, holding his hand against her cheek.

Steven used his free hand and grabbed his old shirt from his bag. He handed it to Peridot, making her eyes slightly widened. "Here, I want you to have this," he said, smiling down at her.

Peridot let go of Steven's hand and held the shirt in the air, unfolding it. "My very own Steven shirt?" she asked.

Steven nodded. "Be the Steven you want to see in the world," he told, getting up and left towards the other two Gems.

You then approached the wailing Peridot. You kneeled in front of her and handed her a handkerchief which she took and blow her nose on it. "Peridot, I'm going to miss you the most here," you started.

"Y- You're leaving, too?" she sobbed, crying again.

You nodded. "Yeah. But before I do, I want to give you a little something," you said. You pulled a pretty handmade birdhouse from your back and showed it to her. She hiccuped and grabbed the birdhouse in her hands. "I wanted to thank you for making me graduate from Little Homeworld. It took me a while but I've finished the first exam you gave me, but just a little bit better from before. Peridot, you will always be my favourite teacher in the whole world," you told her.

She sobbed and hugged you, you hugged her back and patted the back of her head, she sobbed her heart out and begged you to not leave but you only shook your head and repeated 'we'll see each other again' every time; Peridot calmed down a bit and let go of you, using your handkerchief and wiped her tears and snots away, sniffling away; you patted her head again before standing up and held out your hand.

Peridot sniffled and blinked through her teary eyes, she grabbed your hand and stood up, still sobbing and her shoulder shook as she hiccuped; the other two Gems were gathered as you brought Peridot with them.

"Oh, Steven," Bismuth teared up. "If it wasn't for you, none of us would be who we are today. You make me so proud to be a Crystal Gem," she sobbed.

Peridot hung onto Bismuth, began tearing up again. "Why did you have to put it so well, Bismuth?" she sniffled.

Lapis who was holding her watercolour put her shoulder against Bismuth's, crying as well. "I'm gonna use my tears to make a watercolour painting of you," she said with her voice cracked.

As he was engulfed into the hug, Steven began tearing up. His lower lip quivered. "Peridot, Bismuth, Lapis... I love you!" he said, burying his head on Bismuth's chest.

The three of them soon break down. "We love you too, Steven!" they sobbed out.

They all break the hug afterwards, standing up on their feet as they tried hard to wipe the overflowing tears; Steven returned to your side, wiping his eyes and waved at the Gems which you followed suit.

"We're going to miss you two so much!" Bismuth exclaimed, waving her hand back.

"I'm going to make a watercolour painting of you as well, (Y/N)! I'll make sure it'll look as good as you are!" Lapis waved back, sniffling.

Peridot then sobbed. "You're the best student I've ever had! I'll forever cherish our memories together!" she wiped her tears using your handkerchief.

You smiled at their sweet words. You wiped your upcoming tears away. "Thank you, you all. For being my family," you said, making the three of them cried even more.

Steven intertwined his hand with yours and bid the three sobbing mess Gems goodbye, they all cried harder but bid Steven goodbye as well, Steven smiled at you and grabbed you by the waists, carrying you as he jumped off the building, making sure he landed softly using his floating power; Steven let you down and wiped his remaining tears, sniffling.

As the two of you were making your way back home, a hole was suddenly busted through the wall and revealed Jasper leaning with crossed arms, looking away as she didn't look at the both of you.

"Heard you're leaving," she started. She then looked at the both of you, furrowing her eyebrows as she towered the both of you. "I'm coming with you!" she exclaimed.

Steven quickly said. "Jasper, we're going alone," he told her.

Jasper scrunched her face. "Then, who will protect the both of you?" she asked.

Steven smirked. "I can," he answred casually.

Jasper slumped, sighing. "I know..." she said in defeat. Jasper turned around and headbutted the wall that was beside the one she had created previously. She didn't urn around back but only exclaimed. "Farewell, my Diamonds," she huffed.

Before she could leave, you had called her name, making her paused. "Jasper! How about one last hug?" you asked.

She sighed and turned around, looking away, you spread your arms and wrapped them around her waists, she didn't say anything and just wrapped her arms around your head; she put her nose on your head and sighed heavily, shutting her eyes closed as she tried as hard as she could to memorise everything about your warm hug.

"I'm going to miss this..." she admitted.

You giggled. "Me, too. Your body felt so warm," you told.

After another few seconds, the both of you pulled away as you bid her goodbye, she looked like wanting to cry but held herself back and nodded, not uttering word and left the scene, rubbing her eyes; you smiled as she disappeared your sight, you turned and grabbed Steven's hand in yours once more.

As the both of you were walking again, Steven suddenly hummed, catching your attention. "Even Jasper's more upset than my own family. Maybe I need a round two?" he wondered.

You nodded. "Maybe you should," you agreed on his words.

Steven shut the last suitcase and sighed sadly, catching yours and Greg's attention at him. Greg approached him and looked at his son. "You alright, Schtu-ball?" he asked.

Steven nodded his head. "Yeah, it's just-" he paused.

Greg raised an eyebrow. "Just what?"

Steven put the last suitcase on the floor, sighing again. "Well, I told the Gems I'm leaving but I don't think they're even sad about it," he admitted, glancing to the floor sadly.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Greg wondered.

You shook your head. "Steven thought it'd be a bit nicer if they were upset about him leaving," you explained.

Steven groaned and rubbed his face. "Was that too petty?" he sighed.

Greg smiled and patted his shoulder. "You're allowed to have feelings, even petty ones," he told. Greg then approached Steven and gave him a hug. "They love you, kiddo. They're probably just trying to be supportive."

Steven smiled at his dad. "Thanks, dad," he said genuinely.

You then cleared your throat, catching both Universes' attention. "Don't you have something to give?" you asked him, hinting.

Steven's eyes widened. "Oh, right! Dad, I still have to give you your gift!" he said. He grabbed a poster and jumped on his bed, putting up the poster even though it was a little bit off. Steven turned around and spread his arms. "It's all yours! I want you to move in!" he exclaimed.

Greg quickly tensed. "Huh? Don't you think it's a little... ritzy for me?"

You sat on the edge of the bed, giving him a smile as you patted the mattress. "Give the bed a try, Greg," you said.

Greg, Steven and you leaned back on the bed, laying down as the three of you stared at the ceiling, looking at the glow-in-the-dark stars that you grew to love so much for the past years. "Woah. I don't think I can get up," Greg exaggerated.

You giggled. Steven smiled. "I knew you'd like it," Steven said.

Greg sighed. "I guess the Gems are gonna swap one Universe for another, huh? You know, you heading off and me settling down, it makes the kind of karmic sense I just can't resist."

The room went silent for a while as you break the silence. "I'm sorry I couldn't get you a gift, Greg," you told.

Greg scoffed and smiled. "That's okay, (Y/N). I don't need anything. Plus, you taking care of Steven for me is more than enough," he told.

You smiled as you continued to stare at the ceiling. "It'd be my honour."

"Bye, Connie. See you soon," Steven and Connie shared a hug.

You approached them as they broke the hug. You smiled at Connie who returned the same. "I'm going to miss you," you told her as you hugged her.

She hugged back tighter. "You tell me. We've been gone through a lot together," she said, breaking the hug. She glanced at Steven. "Can I tell him?" she asked.

You smiled. "Sure," you agreed.

Connie inhaled and exhaled. "Steven, I jist wanted to say I'm sorry for coming inbetween you and (Y/N)," she started.

"Coming inbetween?" Steven asked, confused.

Connie nodded as she fiddled her fingers nervously. "(Y/N) didn't want to be with you, because of me still liking you. But that was in the past! You don't have to worry about it ever again," she told.

Steven's eyes widened. "You're the one who liked me?" he shrieked. Connie nodded. Steven rubbed his neck nervously. "Woah, I didn't expected that. I thought your standards were higher so that's why I moved on," he said.

It's Connie's turn to widened her eyes. "You had a crush on me, too?" she shrieked.

"Yeah," he smiled. "But now I only see you as my sister and best friend. I hope it didn't hurt your feelings."

Connie smiled in relief. "It didn't," she said. She clapped her hands once. "Well, with that cleared up, I can finally be out of guilt from now on!" she exclaimed. Then, she smiled. "Goodbye, you two," she said sadly.

"Goodbye, Connie," you and Steven said in unison.

The both of you turned and approached Greg who was smiling proudly at the two of you. Steven hugged his dad lovingly. "Bye, dad," he said.

Greg hugged him back. "Aw, I'm gonna miss you, Schtu-ball. But I'm so proud of you," he smiled through the hug.

Steven pulled away and smiled back at his father. "Thanks, dad," he said gratefully before heading his way towards his mother figures.

You smiled at Greg and hugged him as well. "I hope I'm good enough to be your daughter-figure," you told.

Greg let out a chuckle and hugged you tighter. "You kidding? You're already like my daughter. I hope you can take care of Steven for me."

You pulled away, smiling. "Of course. I will give him my best care."

Greg smiled. "Thanks, (Y/N)."

You approached your mother who was looking like she was going to burst any minute from now. Karen who was holding her child placed a hand on your mother's shoulder. You smiled at them. "Thank you for being here," you told. Your mother quickly hugged you, tears rolled down as she held back sobs. You hugged her back tightly. "I hope I can call you 'mom' from now on," you said.

Your mother couldn't say anything and just nodded rapidly, you pecked her cheek and pulled away; you turned to Karen and Junior and engulef them in an embrace.

Karen smiled tearfully. "Thank you for saving me," she genuinely said.

"I'm happy for you," you told.

Junior goes teared up as you pulled away from the hug. His bottom lip quivered. "Where are you going?" he asked, voice cracking.

You held his hand. "I'm going away. I'm going to live my own life now," Junior began to cry. "Can you please promise me that you'll become the most popular business man for me?" you asked.

Junior cried and nodded. "O- Okay," he sobbed, wiping his overflowing tears.

"Thank you. And take care of my mother and your mother for me, okay?"

"Okay..." he sobbed again.

You turned and aporoached the mother figures, you hugged Amethyst first. "Thanks for being my sister, Amethyst," you thanked her.

"Aw. I'm just happy to have a sister like you," she stated.

You pulled away and proceed to hug Garnet. "Thank you for always be there for me."

"It's what families do. Make sure to always be there for Steven," Garnet reminded.

You pulled back, looking up at her. "Of course," you replied. You approached Pearl and hugged her. She hugged you back tightly. "Thank you for being my mentor and mother-figure."

"Thank you for being my student and child-figure. I'll expect you will continue to practice," she teased.

You giggled. "I will," you said before pulling away and stood beside Steven.

Steven looked at the others sadly. "Well, I guess this is goodbye," he told everyone.

Garnet smiled. "We'll be thinking of you," she stated.

Steven gulped and nodded. "Alright, then."

You and Steven got in the car, you watched the others waving you off as Steven began driving forward, you fixed yourself on the chair and glanced at Steven who kept on looking at the view mirror; you were about to ask him what's wrong when suddenly the car was reversed and returned back to his family, he rolled the window down while crying.

"What's wrong with you guys? Aren't you sad I'm leaving?" he sobbed.

Amethyst quickly burst into tears. "Oh man, I can't take this anymore!" she cried.

Garnet sprayed her tears all over her visor as they ran down her cheeks. "We were trying to be strong for you," she said calmly. "Pearl agrees."

Steven looked at Pearl who was a crying mess, her words turned jibberish as she tried to speak and held her sobs back at the same time; Steven opened his door and rushed towards the Gems' arms.

"You guys!" he cried out.

The Gems leaped into a group hug and began sobbing together. Amethyst sobbed. "I was kidding, man! I'm never gonna delete your save files!" she cried out.

"Ah, I love that ukelele! I'll never olay anything else!" Pearl sobbed next, smiling.

"I'd be overjoyed to plan your wedding. In fact, I've already planned over 363 versions of it," Garnet smiled tearfully at Steven.

Steven pulled away as he looked at at his mother figures faces. "Why didn't you guys just tell me all of this?"

Garnet frowned. "I'm sorry, Steven. I couldn't resist looking into your futurem I peeked. But I saw a possibility that our tears would keep you from leaving," she explained.

Amethyst then sobbed. "We didn't want to hold you ba- a- ck...!"

Garnet then continued. "But I also saw many paths ahead of you, and we are a part of all of them," she took off her visor, revealing her three eyes and all of them were crying. "Wherever you end up, we will visit you to talk, to listen, to be there, whenever you need us. We love you, Steven."

Steven wiped his tears and smiled at his family. "I love you, too."

Through your blurry eyes, you could see Greg eyes teared up as he wiped his tesrs away, Connie who was beside him placed a hand on his arm to comfort him; Steven made his way towards the car and entered, closing the door as he smiled for the last time at his family.

Garnet waved at Steven, cupping a cheek of hers as a tear rolled her cheek. "Check your rear left tire before you left the desert! It's not serious, but could be trouble if left unchecked!"

Amethyst held up a piece sign, the cirner of her eyes still had tears in them. "Later, bruh!"

Pearl couldn't utter anything as she continued to sob uncontrollably, Steven started to drive again, looking at the view mirror as he watched his family and friend disappeared from his view with the last waves they sent him; you wiped your tears and smiled.

As Steven took a corner, they were people standing in front of Big Donut with a banner said 'Goodbye Steven and (Y/N)!', when they saw Steven's car, they started waving and cheered, saying that they'll miss the two hybrids; you and Steven waved back at them with smiles on your faces.

Soon, you saw a sign said 'Leaving Beach City' which made your heart tightened; many memories were made in this town and all of them were wonderful, including the fights, arguments and tearful moments, you loved all of them; the town and the people in them were your family and you could never forget about them, you would forever always owe them for making you apart of them, they were your family and you loved all of them so much.

You grabbed Steven's hand in yours. "Steven," you called him. Steven hummed. "Thank you."

You muttered.

Bonus

You fixated on the bed, fixing the blanket that was covering your bottom part as you sat on the bed. You smiled at your best friend, Connie, who was sitting on the bed beside you. "Connie, how's college?" you asked.

Connie smiled back at you. "Nothing much is going on. Except I have gotten a scholarship, if that's what you meant," she laughed.

Your eyes widened. "Oh my gosh! That's amazing! I knew you're just that smart!"

"Oh, shush. Now you're complimenting me too much," she scoffed.

The door suddenly was opened, revealing Steven came in with a plastic bag smelled like your favourite food into the room; Steven had grown tall the past months and you were jealous because you can't tiptoe to kiss him anymore, it must be Steven bent down to let you kiss him.

Connie smirked at Steven. "Look who it is," she cooed.

Steven rolled his eyes with a smile. He set the plastic on the table beside your bed. He bent down at you and pecked your forehead before turning to look at smirking Connie. "Is that really how you greet your best friend?"

Connie rolled her eyes. "It's not even offensive," she replied.

"It will be if you keep smirking like that."

"Then, I will let it be."

You giggled and crazed Steven's arm. "This feels like home," you suddenly stated.

Connie nodded. "Yeah, it does," she agreed.

Steven sighed. "I can't believe it's already been 4 years. Time sure fly by fast."

Connie nodded. "Yeah. And I can't believe you guys are still together! And you guys are 22! The both of you had it going strong, still! I'm proud!"

You smiled. "Thank you, Connie," you said sincerely.

Steven sat to your right, stealing the empty spot before side hugging you. Connie smiled at the lovely sight. Connie then suddenly shook her head, a confused look plastered on her face. "Wait. Why are you in the hospital again?"

You formed a thin line. "I'm not-"

The door was opened again but this time by a doctor who's checking the board in his hand, he hummed and looked at you with a wide excited grin; Steven glanced at you nervously as you gave him the same glance.

The doctor fixed his hair. "Congratulation, Mrs Universe! You are now pregnant with a 3 weeks old!"

You paused. "What?"

(this is how I imagined Steven in this bonus scene)
