Sasuke took Naruto out to the back porch and purposely gave him a good amount of distance so that he didn't feel overwhelmed. They both stared at the sky and the beach as the waves glistened under the rays of the setting sun, giving off an orange crystal look that reminded Sasuke of Naruto.

"The sunset on the waves reminds me of you." He expressed as he looked across at the blonde.

"Thank you..." Naruto replied shyly as he tried to hide his smile.

"Naruto I-"

"Sasuke I-" They both tried but called the others name in unison resulting in both feeling flustered.

"You go first." Naruto suggested.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"I wanted to firstly apologize for kicking Kiba earlier. I didn't mean for it to escalate that far but he gave me no choice when he got physical."

"Why did you even approach him in the first place?"

"Because I wanted to settle things."

"..."

"I wanted him to know that I wanted you back and that I was tired of putting up a front." He expressed as he looked off into the sea. "I realized that I didn't know what I had until it...until you left me."

"..."

"Seeing you, with him and not me. It made me jealous, it made me miss you. Without you it felt like I was living a lie."

"..."

"Ha, can you please say something. I feel a bit nervous here." Sasuke chuckled lightly as he scratched the back of his ear.

"This entire time, that's how you felt and you never considered to tell me?"

"I didn't have a choice. I saw you with him, I wanted to respect your decision."

"Respect?"

"..."

"You behaving the way you do is respect?"

"I admit, sometimes my behavior is questionable but I never claimed to be perfect." He admitted. "I try to be respectful as best as I can."

"Yet, you tried to kiss me the other day."

"My willpower emptied when I saw you." He revealed as he carefully took steps closer to the blonde as he was fixated in his own thoughts. "I realized I wanted you back more than anything. To hold you, to kiss your lips and to have our special private times together again.

"Sasuke, that's not how it works..." Naruto tried. "I'm with Kiba now."

"So what? I was with Sakura when we were together and it never bothered you, it'll be no different this time around."

"I..."

"Besides..." Sasuke smiled as he raised Naruto's chin to look him in the eyes, looking down at his face and tracing his thumb across his soft skin. "It's not like you love him like how you love me. Why should we waste their time when we could just have each other instead?"

Naruto felt the arousal coming under his touch. It was hard to think of anything else as Sasuke clouded his mind and the guilt of what he did to both Kiba and Sakura was eating away at him slowly. It was the perfect mixture that Sasuke needed to convince him to give him another chance.

He saw the stress that it had on Sakura and the conflicts that arises when Kiba and Sasuke interact, but if he chose Sasuke then it would all disappear he thought, but there was just one thing.

"But, Kiba loves me..." He replied with it being the only restraint that firmly kept Naruto grounded.

"Do you really believe that?" Sasuke asked with a plain expression almost like he was expecting that response.

"Yes, I do." Naruto replied without hesitation.

"I didn't want to show you this, but I figured now would be a better time than never." He replied as he pulled out his phone sand showed him what appeared to be Tamaki's Ninstagram and a photo of her laying in bed and someone laying beside her.

"Why are you showing me this?"

"It's recent."

"So? What does this have to do with Kiba?"

"Look at the person next to her, doesn't that tattoo look familiar?"

Naruto squinted his eyes and the realization struck, that was definitely Kiba's tattoo and the date shown was indeed recent. It seems to have been one of the days where they both went to the docks and came back late as she captioned "reigniting fireworks again, best night ever".

"Why are you showing me this?" He asked as he looked back at him with an unreadable expression.

"Why aren't you crying? Normally people would be upset to find their partner cheating on them with someone else."

"..."

"Just like how I'm upset not having you." He stated, taking a further step.

"Stop."

"Do you really want me too?" Sasuke asked as he held Naruto's hand and circled his thumb in the center of his palm and parted his legs with his knee.

A mixture of both fear and arousal coursed through Naruto's body. He was afraid of being alone with him like this but at the same time he was thrilled to have him almost like the way they used to be. But, even with that lingering feeling.

"I'm still with Kiba." He repeated as he guided Sasuke back before attempting to walk back inside.

"So what if you weren't?" Sasuke asked in defeat. "If you two weren't together anymore, even if you can't admit to loving him back. Would I be able to get you back?"

"Sure, if that was the case."

"Hm, well for now can I ask you something that I should've when I was your man?"

"Which is?"

"Can you I take you on a date? The docks still sound lively, so let me take you there and we can start off on the right foot this time."

"..."

"What? Was date not the right word?"

"No, that's not it. I just should probably tell the others I'll be out with you."

"Why? You don't trust me?"

"..."

"Fine, go and tell-"

"Actually, never mind. Let's go right now."

Naruto took Sasuke by the hand and smiled at him showing him that he did trust him, even if it was just slightly.

The latter smiled back and then the two began their walk to the docks from the back of the house, strolling alongside the beach while the others were coming back on the walking bath at the front.

"Shh, come on." Sasuke ducked along with Naruto as they both started chuckling while running as to not be seen by the others.

Upstairs in their shared bedroom Kiba was practicing his lacrosse in an attempt to help calm his nerves and blasting music through his earbuds, completely unaware of what was taking place just outside the window.

The door to the room had opened and just as it did closed almost immediately with the click of the lock the sudden sweet scent filled his nostrils and made him curious as he sniffed around for the source, turning to the door and seeing who it was coming from.

"Tamaki?" He asked as he took out his earbuds.

"Playing lacrosse in your room again? Seems like nothing has changed about you since the last time." She smiled while walking over to his bed.

"Ha, it helps keep me focused." He reminded her. "You must've heard by now what took place between me and that asshole Sasuke, so I have to unwind."

"I heard." She sighed . " I just don't get what all the fuss is about."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean the fighting. It's so unnecessary and just a major waste of your time, don't you think?"

"..."

"Why get yourself all worked up over some guy like that?" She asked.

"I don't know. Especially since that 'some guy' is my boyfriend." Kiba replied with slight irritation hearing how she just disregarded Naruto like that.

"Hm? Oh, I didn't mean it in a bad way, obviously."

"Yet, it came off that way."

"Kiba look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to sound the way that it did."

"It's fine, just don't let it happen again, please."

"Hm, really do like him, don't you?" She smiled fondly.

"More than I think I even understand." He replied as he continued playing his makeshift game.

"I see, based on what Hinata tells me you two have gone through your fair share of bickering but ultimately kept the love strong."

"You don't even know how true that statement goes, ha." He chuckled. "We've bickered even more than you and I used too. I don't know if it's because he's just a mischievous fox in my life while you were a stubborn kitten."

"Ha, you haven't called me that in the longest. The last time I think was when we were having sex in the detention room."

"Hm, yeah that's where this all started with him." Kiba blushed as he thought about the look Naruto used to have on his face.

"Are you blushing?"

"Ha, what? Sorry I just remembered Naruto's face and how cute he looked back then." He admitted.

"Wow, you really do like him then? No kidding?" She asked.

"You know me, don't you? You should know when I'm kidding and when I'm not."

"But that night that the two of us were together-"

"When I woke up in your bed? Tamaki, I told you it was just a mistake, I had way too much to drink and ended up falling asleep next to you, okay?" He reminded her. "We don't have to bring it up again."

"Hm? But you didn't just fall asleep next to me." She clarified.

"What?"

"What?"

"What are you talking about?"

"That night, you were drunk but I wasn't and we went back to my room and one thing led to another. I was really playful with you and you seemed really into it and like you were enjoying it and even got hard, I could feel it through your..." She trailed as she saw the look of concern on Kiba's face.

"..."

"Um, never mind."

"No, I do mind. What happened after that Tamaki?" He asked in a shaky voice.

"..." She was afraid to respond but the way she shifted on the bed and diverted her gaze spoke more volumes than if she had answered.

"No, ha! No fucking way you did what I think you did."

"You were fucking hard, Kiba." She defended. "It was clear what you wanted and you were even smiling and laughing as though you were enjoying it."

"That's because I was drunk, Tamaki! You know what that means?! Fucking stoned, out of my mind, fucking unable to properly make decisions for myself how could I possibly be hating THE ONE THING I've been deprived of for months now!" He spat.

"..."

"For the love of Kaguya! How the fuck do you fuck someone who's drunk and in a relationship with someone else?!"

"We didn't go all the way though, I stopped once you started calling Naruto's name. It was just a major turn off and I pulled you out of me, but I didn't want to give you blue balls so I..jacked..you..off and you...came a lot...." She explained.

"NO FUCKING SHIT!" He yelled as he almost broke the lamp stick in his hand. "You know what, get out! Get up and leave because if you stay any longer I'm gonna-"

"What is it?"

"Tamaki?" He asked as he diverted his eyes elsewhere.

"Yeah?"

"Why are you not wearing underwear?"

"..."

"Tamaki?"

"I thought you weren't actually serious about him like that?!"

"Really?! You thought?! Let me ask you something when we were together did you feel like I wasn't serious about you before we broke up?! He asked.

"No..."

"Really?!"

"But-But you were flirty with other people."

"So we're you, but did you see me fucking any of them though?"

"No."

"Any rumors of me fucking anybody?"

"No."

"Hm, crazy isn't it. Leave, right now." He demanded as he began stomping over to the door.

"Wait! But I thought that was the whole reason you wanted me here?" She tried.

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

"Can you just take a breather and let me explain cause it seems like a lot of mixed signals are happening here."

"You should've taken a breather before you took advantage of me while I was drunk, nothing to be mixed about right there, and now I have to try and figure out just exactly how I'm gonna fucking tell that to Naruto." He hissed as he punched the door and walked back to the window in anger.

"Tsk, Tamaki how the fuck could you actually do something like that to me?!"

"..."

"I thought we were fucking closer than that! Naruto even had his suspicions that you were too touchy but I still gave him the reassurance that nothing was going on between us, I GAVE EVERYBODY THAT REASSURANCE!" He yelled as tears of sadness and rage filled his eyes and his mind was just all over the place.

The more Kiba thought about it was the more he was having a breakdown. He wasn't as upset with her for what she did but moreover at the thought that this is what'll cause Naruto to run straight into Sasuke's arms and that felt like a knife to his chest.

"Maybe if the both of us just sit him down and talk to him-"

"Tamaki! That won't work." He stressed. "He's not gonna want to hear it. He's already struggling to stay out of that bastards arms much less to hear that I fucked my ex right under his nose. Do you have any idea how fucked up this is gonna be?!"

Kiba dropped himself to the floor and balled himself up against Naruto's bed while hitting the wall and tearing up. The amount of emotion he felt was so familiar and so painful that he couldn't even process any of his thoughts as all he could think about was losing the blonde.

"KIBA!" Tamaki yelled as she ran over to him in attempt to comfort him.

"Tamaki, just go..." He warned her, but she refused to leave her friend like this.

"I'm not-"

"I SAID TO LEAVE ME ALONE!" He yelled causing her to stumble back onto his bed.

Just then rustling could be heard just outside the door as Hinata heard the commotion.

"Rock Lee? What's happening?" She asked.

"Uh? I don't know. I came up and the door was locked."

"Move."

In a matter of seconds Hinata unlocked the door and rushed in on the scene. Seeing Kiba balled up and sobbing under the window while Tamaki ruffled his hair with guilt written all over her face.

"What is with all the commotion?!" She asked demanding to know as she rushed over to them.

"I think I fucked up coming here." Tamaki explained as her eyes started to water as well.

"Rock Lee, help us get him off the floor, quickly and shut the door behind you." Hinata ordered at the stunned ravenette who was shocked by the scene.

"LEE!?"

"Right!" Lee replied as he came out of his trance and decided to help.

Back on the beach, Naruto and Sasuke had just arrived at the docks, a sudden tingling feeling went up the blonde's spine as he turned around and looked back to the house.

All that came to his mind was Kiba, he looked down at his necklace and it reminded him that it signified their friendship, even though to them, it meant more than just that. However, Sasuke's persuasions took him from those thoughts as he was the only one capable of doing so.

"What's the matter?" Sasuke asked as he placed his hand on the blonde's waist.

"Nothing, I just had a shiver run down my spine." He explained as his cheeks began to blush.

"It's okay, being this close to me will give you that effect."

"Ha, I'm sure it does." He smiled, completely easing the feelings he felt prior.

"Ha, truth be told. I have the same feelings about you."

"Really now?"

"Yeah, don't be believe me? Then stick around and I'll tell you all the feelings I've got for you."

"Hm, looking forward to it."
