The Crystal left to confuse

Fate mentally rolled her eyes at the boy and went back to her quest and read the entire book that Tom had already read and thankfully it had nothing to do with being immortal.

Grabbing more and more books she browsed through them, also finding a few of the books she studied for her own wisdom, as dark arts and its defense were her most favorite subjects in her time, so she had made quite a few trips to the restricted section by using Harrys invisibility cloak and to which Hermione was not very happy with saying:

"You mustn't go to the restricted section Fate! Its restricted for a reason! Besides if you get caught you'll get detention! Or worse...expelled!"

Fate slightly smiled to herself remembering what Ron had said:

"Yes Fate I agree with Hermione, I mean what if a book eats off your face or something?!"

Fate sighed remembering her friends and wishing so dearly to leaves this place soon.

Grabbing a few books and shoving them in her bag, she walked out not even bothering to tell madam Irma she had takes some books but of course, they were magical books, and one can not simply slip them into their bags effortlessly and stroll out and for that Fate had a great solution as a brilliant she was.

Using a charm that she read about in a book and yes it was indeed from the restricted section. Mumbling that spell, with a flick of her wand, she causally walked out like she did last night.

Lunchtime was soon over and it was Fates last class, Deviation the subject she least liked, sharing the same sentiments with Hermione about the subject because okay you can look into the future and tell if something horrible is about to happen, well why did no one see a skinless snake trying to kill everyone and take over the wizarding world!

Fate also disliked the subject due to the fact professor Sybill Trelawney just bloody kept predicting everyone's death and other very ridiculous visions like "you are going to die a horrible death", "you will lose a limb" "you will trip down the stairs and find your missing toad".

But of course, it did not matter whether Fate liked the subject or not. She had to take it for the sake of her course and Riddle.

She made her to the class and yet once again the boy with extremely blond air was sat next to her rival...oh wait! Not rival her soon to be friend, as if.

Looking through the class she saw lily inviting her at her tablet but unfortunately, the fat rat Peter was sat there along with Remus.

--hmm where's sticky head snape—

She thought to herself and saw him sitting at the back with the boy who had a problem with her on the first day when she sat with Tom. She learned his name was Avery.

"It's okay I'll sit elsewhere, besides there already three people here" she politely declined the offer and immediately got a new one "phsttt! Oi! Over here, why don't you join us?" Fate looked to her left where the curly-haired boy had called out for her, "alright" she went and took a seat next to Sirus and as well as James, and right in front of their table was Toms.

"Ello Fate" James chimed.

"Hey James"

"so...how has your day been?"

"Well it hasn't been that nice but eh...it was fine I guess... as long as nothing else ruins it" the short-haired girl spoke slightly tired.

After a few minutes professor Firenze walked in  "Hello my dear children, I hope you all are doing well today." the way she spoke was quite familiar to professor Sybil.

"Today we will learn how to look into the crystal ball to have a peek of one's fortune or...odds of something miserable happening" she spoke the last line looking down with a sad look.

--yep it just got worse--

Fate couldn't help but feel more irritated remembering she had already had the lesson in her third year.

"Crystal gazing is the art of gazing into the orb in order to try and gain insight into future events, but not all can achieve this on their very first try.

You have to open your inner eye and let your mind relax or else you will see just a cloudy haze in the crystal" she explained.

Professor started walking around the class and stood right in front of Fate.

—oh no don't you dare stand in front of me! Move! Go to another table! For merlins sake!-

"Dear as you are the new student here, we will start with you, shall we now?" Professor gave Fate a small smile.

"Sure" despite the fact she hated the subject she still was not intending to be rude to her teacher.

"Okay here, come at eye level with the orb and with your right hand gently trace the glass. Clear up your mind and let your inner eye open up"

Nodding Fate did as she was told to. She looked into the misty crystal ball, she was calm, why she be otherwise panicked?

She was sure the only thing she would see would be a distorted reflection of herself on the round glossy ball.

Peeking into the crystal ball she saw nothing...for a few minutes until the haze started to change.

—seriously?! you have to be kidding me!-

Different visions flashed before her eyes, but it happened so quickly she could not tell what exactly displayed in front of her eyes.

--Rain...thunder...a hand, a hand pulling another but it kept slipping. Black...black color filled some sort of water. Nails rasping against skin cutting ever so smoothly, crimson flowing out freely. A butterfly...with one of it's wing white while the other black. Dark...everything extremely dark all sudden. Two silhouettes...tangled with one another trying to pull apart.--

Fate felt her throat get tight at the sight of the reflections. All of a sudden an uneasy feeling took over her.

Her eyes were about to go wide but before the others could notice Fates surprised reaction she buried it all up within her.

Professor Firenze looked at her with her mouth slightly ajar, a pleased look on her features.

"you saw it didn't you?!" she asked in almost disbelief but before the surprised girl could answer, professor continued talking "that's wonderful, now can you explain what events did you glimpse my dear?"

And that's exactly what the girl thought
