Melody's POV

I sit in the phone booth with the phone to my ear listening to the dial tone. It rings five times before someone finally answers.

"Hello."

"Hi mom."

My mom screams happily making me smile so hard that my cheeks hurt.

"Honey honey! It's Melbear! Go get Nova!"

"Mom..."

"Oh Levi is here too honey go get him! And Lillian."

"Mom!"

My mom finally answers me forgetting I was on the phone, "Oh sorry sweet pea. I'm so happy to hear from you. How are you doing? Is every one there nice? Is the bachelor cute?"

"I'm doing good mom. I miss you guys. Everything is great. Everyone is nice. I've made some amazing new friends. I can't wait for you to meet them after the show. And yes the bachelor is very nice looking."

"I hear you blushing through the phone melbear... Tell me what's going on."

"Tyler is so sweet and such a gentleman. He's funny and smart. I feel so comfortable with him. I know I'm literally competing with 20 other girls but I just think we have a great connection already."

"Aw melbear I'm so happy to hear that. I'm still praying that things go well. I can't wait to meet him. I just know that you'll make it hometowns. Mama's intuition."

I laugh and hear someone on the other line whisper to her.

"Melbear your dad wants to speak now so I'll talk to you later."

"Okay bye."

"Melody"

"Hi daddy!"

"Mel how are you sweetheart? The bachelor hasn't hurt you or anything right? As soon as he does I'm flying down there."

"No daddy everything is great. He's so sweet and such a gentleman like I told mom."

"Alright honey. We miss you but I'm glad you're doing well."

"Me too. Is Nova there?"

"Yep she's right here. Hold on a sec."

I sit and wait then all of a sudden I hear my sweet angels voice and a tear falls down my face.

"Mama? Are you there?"

"Yes I'm right here sweetie. How are you doing honey?"

"I'm great mama! Papa took me to school yesterday then we went to cici's. I ate pizza and sweet bread! And nana says that she is taking me to the movies to see Moana!"

"That's so awesome! I'm so glad you're having fun sweetie."

"Mama I miss you. I hope you are happy too!"

"I am happy and I miss you more my sweet little nova."

She giggles making me cover my mouth as I slowly sob. I had never been away from her this long. I missed her so much. I missed cuddling with her. And watching movies. And baking with her. She's my little baby. I want her by my side all the time but sadly that can't happen.

"Uncle Levi said he wants to talk to you. Love you mama!"

"I love you too sweetie." I sniffle a bit as I hear the phone being passed.

"Mel? You okay?"

I wipe my tears as I hear my older brothers deep concerned voice, "Yeah no I'm okay. I just didn't realize how much I missed Nova until just now."

"Oh she missed you too. But she's doing great. Lillian and I just left your wedding planning team meeting. Everything is almost set for our wedding in three months."

"Great! I was so nervous about not being there to plan but if anybody can do it, it's my team. I'm so happy for you two."

Lillian is Levi's fiancé. They met through me. She started out as my intern and as soon as I laid eyes on her I just knew that she needed to meet my brother. Kinda weird but it turned out alright.

"It's all because of you Mel. Without you neither of us would even know each other. So thank you. How is everything going with the show? You head over heels yet?"

I laugh and shake my head at his silly antics. He knows how easy it is for me to fall for someone but he also knows how serious I am about family and love.

"Whatever Levi. No not yet. I do like him though. Levi I'm scared..."

Silence comes back through the phone before he speaks up again, "Okay everyone is gone. Why are you scared Mel?"

"What if when I tell him about Liam and Nova he won't like me anymore? Nova is my child we're a package deal. And Liam was my love... the only reason why I'm here right now is because he's not."

"Well that's a blunt way to put it but yeah it is. I know you loved Liam but he's looking out for you right now. I know he would want you to find love and be happy. Don't think for one second that what you're doing is bad. Liam died. You have to think about yourself and Nova. Mel if the guy can't see how great you are and see past the fact that you already have a child then that's not the guy for you. Point blank period. But that won't be your fault. Just be yourself and show him how great you are."

Another tear falls down my face as I chuckle to myself, "Thanks Levi. You always know what to say."

"I'm your big brother I have to."

Later that day I lay on my bed and stare at my ceiling. I don't know how I'm going to tell him, I just know that I have to tell him.

Caelynn bursts through the door jumping up and down happily, "Tyler is downstairs. We're having a pool party."

I smile wide and jump up from my bed then quickly change into a gray snakeskin bikini with the sides cut out. Rhinestones are placed over the v on my chest. Caelynn looks at the bathing suit and smirks.

"Wow he's gonna die when he sees you."

"That's the plan... wait no actually I don't want him dead. I'd rather him alive, very much so alive."

Caelynn laughs and shakes her head as she grabs my hand, "I know what you meant. Let's go Miss overdramatic."

She pulls me downstairs and to the pool outside. Tyler who had his shirtless back turned stands with a group of girls in their bikinis. His back muscles are so ripped and fit.

Ugh why is he so hot? God I'm so lucky even be this close to him.

Hearing footsteps behind him he turns around. I watch his eyes sparkle with interest as he smiles.

"Wow you two have blown me away."

We both laugh and hug him then move back a few steps.

"So since it's week two I though we all could bond a little and have a pool party."

We all cheer as music starts to blast throughout the villa. I look over and notice a dj by the outside door.

"This really is a party."

Tyler is dragged into the water by Grace and Natalie. Caelynn sighs then says let's get a drink. I follow her to the kitchen where our other friends happen to be.

"Hey guys."

"Hey! This is so fun. Ugh it feels like I'm on vacation."

I nod agreeing with Brynn as she hands me an alcoholic ice drink.

"Thanks."

After drinking a few drinks, we all get a little tiny bit tipsy and start dancing by the pool. We're all laughing and having a great time and to the mean girls dismay Tyler gets out the pool and joins us. Tyler spins us around then dips us one by one. The mean girls stomp away upset with the lack of attention but Tyler doesn't even notice.

"Anybody need a refill?" Scarlett giggles as she stumbles away.

"Yes!" Brynn cheers right on Scarlett's heels.

Caelynn grins, "I'll go make sure they don't break anything."

Charlotte frowns watching Caelynn fall at the door then get up and laugh then disappear into the house.

"And since I didn't drink I'll really go make sure they don't break anything."

I nod and watch them go. Mila had left a long time ago to go hang out with Evelyn and Eleanor. So that left me and Tyler who had been staring me down like I am prey. He takes a step towards me making me giggle and back away.

"Stay away from me mister. You're looking at me like you want to eat me."

"Maybe I do."

My eyes bulge out as I look at him in shock, "Tyler!"

He shrugs with a smirk as he takes another step towards me, "It's the truth."

"You're horrible." I laugh about to take one more step but I'm pulling into a hard chest.

Tyler holds my arm as my hands push his chest. I laugh and try to get away as he starts to tickle me.

"Tyler let go!"

"No I have a better idea."

Before I know it I'm picked up and thrown into the pool. Coming up for air I wipe my face and burst out laughing.

"Well that definitely sobered me up."

Tyler chuckles then dives into the pool. Hands poke at my legs making me laugh and swim away to the corner of the pool. Suddenly, Tyler stands up and makes his way slowly to me. My legs quiver in excitement as he gets closer and closer. His arms trap me in between him and the pool ledge. He now stands in front of me so close that our noses are touching.

"Someone might see."

He leans closer and our lips touch as he mumbles, "Let them."

Without any further hesitation, I throw my arms around his neck and pull him into a kiss. Our lips furiously move with one another trying to keep up with the other person's pace. Tyler picks up my legs as I wrap them around his waist.

The sexual tension between us is very obvious. I know it can't be more than this right now but if I feel like this from just kissing him then imagine more. Kissing Tyler feels like heaven. I don't want it to ever end.

Hearing giggling get closer I know the girls are coming back, so I pull away from Tyler and jump down from his waist. I quickly peck his lips one more time before the girls make their appearance. Tyler shakes his head with a low chuckle as he moves beside me.

Brynn holds up a bottle of champagne, "What'd we miss?"
