Melody's POV

"And the last girl is Brynn."

I hug Brynn and Scarlett then they make their way out the room.

Tyler stands with his parents smiling looking at the four of us who remain.

Me, Caelynn, Mila, and Evelyn.

"Ladies thank you so much for showing us who you are. We chose you because we feel like you girls are the best choices for Tyler. You all bring something to the table and you are all so different but we can see each of you with our son and we hope to see one of you in the end."

Chris comes back into the room and congratulates us, "Congratulations ladies. You four are moving onto round three. So the surprise is that you will all head out to dinner with Tyler and his parents. The catch is that you four were girls that Tyler's parents think he will choose for hometowns. This is really huge and you should all take this time to think about your connections with Tyler. Tonight instead of a group cocktail and one rose... you all will be given the chance to get a rose from Andrea and Jeff. If you don't receive one then it will sadly be your last night here on the bachelor."

I slowly look around at the other three girls who are just as gobsmacked as I am.

"So now we will make our way to dinner and after you will each talk to Tyler and his parents privately."

We all walk to another room that has tables of food set up in buffet style. Caelynn smiles and does a happy dance.

"Yes I'm starving."

After about thirty minutes of eating and relaxing a bit, it's finally time to separate and get to know Tyler's parents. Mila is taken first and once done she comes out with a wide smile and a rose. Evelyn is next and she also comes back with a rose.

Caelynn frowns as she walks into the room.

I stand up in shock and frown, "Oh no Cae..."

Caelynn quickly smiles brightly and pulls a rose from her hand hidden behind her, "I'm just kidding."

I slap her playfully and laugh, "You're a mess."

Tyler walks in the room interrupting me and Caelynn, "Hey Melly, you ready?"

I nod and say later to Caelynn. Taking Tyler's hand I allow him to lead me to a room nearby. Inside his parents are lounging on a couch in the middle of the room.

A small two seat couch is across it, which is where Tyler and I sit. My legs automatically go up to my side and Tyler's arm goes over my shoulder. I smile up at him as he smiles down at me. He kisses my forehead then we both look at his parents.

They both smile with gleaming eyes looking at us. Andrea's eyes slowly go down to our hands which have unnoticeably captured each other in a tight grip.

"Hi Mel it's so nice to see you again."

"You too Mrs. Cameron. Thank you so much for allowing me to show you what kind of person I am and show the feelings I have for Tyler."

"Oh honey call me Andrea. We were shown a little bit of your clips... you and Tyler are just a dream. You two connect really well and you are so sweet and just an amazing person from what I can tell."

"Thank you. That means a lot."

Tyler squeezes my hand lightly making me smile and lay my head on his shoulder.

Jeff smiles, "Mel tell us about Nova. We didn't ever think that any of the girls would already have children but we probably should've been ready and prepared for it. It's not a bad thing of course we just want to now how that would work when trying to blend families."

I nod, "Yeah I totally understand. Nova is three years old. She is everything I hoped she would be and more. She's growing into a sassy yet sweet and very smart girl. She's too smart for her own good... and mine. She is actually the reason I am here today. One day she asked me out of the blue, why she didn't have a dad..."

Andrea gasps and says no with sad eyes.

I nod and continue, "Yeah... she said girls in her class were teasing her because her dad never came to school to pick her up or have daddy and daughter donut day or read to her class. She thought she didn't have one at all. Of course I had to explain to her that she does, but he just won't be around anymore because he died. Fortunately for me she understood and know is okay with her daddy being an angel in the sky. Um she said she wanted me to be happy and have a boyfriend like all the other mommies since her dad wouldn't come back. So here I am... trying find love and someone who will be a big piece of my family. Blending families is hard and it's work but it's worth it. Nova already knows that her dad isn't coming back and that it's okay to have another one and she is super excited for me to find someone who makes me happy. I haven't quite thought about myself in a couple of years so it's good to finally put myself on the pedestal."

Jeff nods, "That's amazing. She sounds like a lovely little girl. Do you think she would be okay meeting Tyler? Let's say you two come out of this together... will Nova be okay with Tyler being her new dad?"

Tyler laughs making me giggle, "Funny that you mention that dad. I've actually already met Nova."

I look around and notice the cameras gone. Oh thank goodness I don't need anyone on my back about getting treated differently just because I have a child.

Andrea smiles widely, "Oh my goodness Tyler really? When?"

"Saturday. I was heading out my hotel room to go get snacks and Melly was about to walk into the room across from me. Laura got Nova and Mel's mom plane tickets and a hotel room to stay for a few days so Mel wouldn't have to leave."

"Oh no what happened?"

I frown a little, "Nova fell off the monkey bars and broke her arm. I felt so helpless not being there when my baby needed me and sadly I almost left... well no one would've let me leave. Not Laura, my best friend, my mom... But anyways so they came down here for two days and Tyler came in and watched a movie with us."

"Yeah and we tried to make hot chocolate."

"It was so cute watching them. Tyler is so sweet and so good with kids. I just know that if anyone was to blend into my crazy family perfectly that it would be him."

After talking for a little bit longer, Chris comes in and takes Andrea and Jeff away. They both give me hugs and say goodbye. When Andrea hugs me she whispers quietly, "I have a feeling we may see each other again. Mother's intuition."

I smile as they leave the room, leaving Tyler and I alone. Without a second thought, I leap over to him and kiss him. He quickly reciprocates and pulls me into his lap. My arms wrap around his head and lightly tug the hair on the nape of his neck. His hands grip my waist tightly then he slowly pulls away from the kiss. His forehead lays against mine as we both catch our breath. He pecks my lips once more before he leans over holding onto me and grabs something off the table.

Holding up the rose beside our heads, Tyler smiles widely with a twinkle in his eye, "Mel... Melody... Melly I cannot imagine a day without you. Every time I'm with you it's just more than I can imagine. My parents really liked you and you were actually their top pick. So Melody Drake will you accept this rose?"

I kiss him lightly then take the rose from his fingers, "Every single time."
