Melody's POV

So Tuesday, Evelyn left on her own. She couldn't deal with the other girls talking about their relationship with Tyler and not have his full attention. Which I understand one hundred percent. When you start to fall for someone and you can't get their all... it takes a toll on you.

Like me right now. It's now Thursday and I have not been on either of the group dates. I'm scared that this could be the week I go home.

Yesterday Brynn, Lucy, Grace, and Caelynn went deep sea diving. Of course with the cute clue, How deep is your love, anyone could've guessed it. And surprisingly Grace got the group rose. Brynn and Caelynn both said that she was actually nice when she talked to them. Big shock I know.

A knock at the door brings me out of my daydreaming. Caelynn gets up and walks over to the door. She screams and picks up something.

"It's a date card guys! Let's go get the others."

Getting up from bed, I put on my shoes and follow her and Brynn out to Mila, Scarlett, and Grace's hut. After gathering everyone the camera crew sets up and Caelynn stands in front of everyone holding the envelope.

Once she receives the okay, she tears open the envelope and looks at the card. Squealing in excitement my heart drops.

That kind of squeal must mean she has the one on one. Yet she just had a group date?... but anything can happen.

"Melody... Let's make sweet music together..."

My friends clap and squeal happily as I sit frozen in shock. Did I hear that right?

"Wait? Did you just say my name?"

Caelynn laughs and nods, "Yes Mel."

Caelynn walks over to me and hands me the card. I take it lightly in my hands and stare at the words. She did indeed say my name.

"Oh my gosh!" I squeal in happiness, "This is incredible! I'm so happy my cheeks hurt."

I try to stop smiling but I can't. When the cameras go off Laura tells me to get ready. I am told to wear something cute and comfortable then to bring a nice outfit for later tonight.

"Let's get you dressed girl!" Brynn smiles grabbing my hand, pulling me out the hut.

Behind us Caelynn, Mila, and Scarlett tag along trying to keep up with how fast Brynn is dragging me. Once we all get to our Bungalow, I quickly get out some choices for an outfit.

"No..."

"Not yet."

"Definitely not."

"Hmm maybe."

Sighing I look at one last option and hold it up for the girls. They all sit for a moment in silence. No one saying a word or making any faces of disagreement.

"Yes."

"That's it!"

"Oh that's definitely the one!"

"If you don't wear it, let me borrow it."

I smile at Brynn shaking my head, "Okay this it is."

After quickly getting dressed I stand in the mirror and stare at the outfit. I wore a green knitted sweater like crop and a knitted long skirt with gold dangle belly beads. Hurrying I put on some gold accessories like rings and necklaces as well as a bracelet before putting my hair in a half up down curly updo.

Taking a deep breath in, I say goodbye to the girls and hurry out the Bungalow. Walking outside I see a few rose petals on the ground. Following the trail, I am lead up a small hill around the corner to a limo with Tyler standing waiting for me.

"You look exquisite."

I bite my lip trying not to grin too hard. The boy had a way with words. He was a total sweetheart and he had my heart. It felt so soon but it was too late. I was all in.

3rd Person's POV

"I'm so excited! I love singing!"

"I know! I remember you saying you sang at church and I want to hear this amazing voice that I know you were gifted with."

Melody smiles, "It's not all that."

Tyler makes a psh sound, "Let me be the judge of that Miss Melly."

Melody laughs grabbing Tyler's hand pulling him into the sound booth, "You're silly. I wonder what we're gonna sing."

As the two step into the room, the lights dim slightly. Melody picks up sheet music from a stand and grins.

"This is from a star is born. The remastered version."

"The one with Bradley Cooper?"

Melody raises an eyebrow, "I was gonna say Lady Gaga. But to each their own."

Tyler snorts shoving Melody jokingly, "Hardy har. What song is it?"

"Guess..."

Melody flicks on the recording button causing the red lights to flicker on. She then hurries over to the piano giggling. Tyler grins grabbing another stack of sheet music before following her over. He sits down beside her as she begins to play a couple keys.

"You know how to play the piano?"

"I dabble."

Melody nods and then starts to play the first couple of notes.

"Sound familiar yet?"

Tyler nods bringing his hands up to the end keys on the piano, playing the lower notes.

Melody purses her lip nudging him with her shoulder lightly, "I thought you said you dabbled."

"Or maybe I spent all day yesterday learning the keys to this song to impress you." Tyler mumbles as his cheeks redden.

Melody giggles to herself glancing over at him, "Did you really?"

Tyler nods shrugging nonchalantly while still blushing as red as a tomato.

"That's one of the sweetest things. Anyone's ever done for me."

"One of?"

Melody shrugs, "I know you'll do even more." She leans over and kisses him lightly on the cheek before looking back down at the piano.

Tyler smiles looking over into Melody's glimmering eyes and can't help but feel like she was it. He was trapped. He had fallen. He kind of felt like he should leave with Melody right then and there. But that wouldn't be fair to not give everyone a fair chance. There was just something about her. She sent tingles down his spine. Kept him on his toes. She was it.

"Tyler..."

Snapping out of his thoughts, he raises an eyebrow at Melody who sits biting her lip gently while looking up at him with a seducing stare.

"So are you going to leave me hanging?"

Tyler chuckles before lightly gripping Melody's face into his two warm gently hands. He kisses her softly as her hands hold onto his wrists. As they pull apart, Melody smiles shaking her head.

"I guess I kind of might know what love is."

"Ditto, Melly... ditto."

Together the two step out of the sound booth, and stand by the recording equipment. As they listen to the playback of them signing the song, Tyler grips Melody's waist gently. His chin grazes the top of her head as Melody smiles patting his arm reassuringly while she stands in front of him. Tyler felt like she would disappear if he didn't hold onto her.

"I love it so much."

Tyler nods looking down at the girl who had a huge piece of his heart, "I do too."

Y'all... ITS BEEN FOUR YEARS!!! Four since I updated this story!! That's insane!! Sorry I totally lost all motivation for this book. That was until a few of you guys read this and were like keep up with it. Well you asked and yall shall receive.

I went back through and re read it and aw it's so cute!! I actually have a few random parts already written out and the ending. When I was writing this story I was very detailed so I have all the dates planned out already, all the eliminations, the challenges, the rose ceremonies, the ups and downs... now I wonder why I never finished it in the first place.

Anywho I'm back and I love this cute little story. This will definitely be a short story but if you like it and want me to finish it let me know!!
