"Hey, dork! Why are you heading home early?" Butch yells, running over to Buttercup walking on the sidewalk.
Buttercup curse under her breathe because she has been ignoring Butch all day and wasn't planning on bumping into her best friend today at school, She was so close to home.
Buttercup turns around and her face completely goes red when she notice how close Butch's face is to hers. "B-Butch?" Buttercup asks, Butch stares down at her lips and unexpectedly he smashes his lips onto hers. Buttercup's eyes widen, and she stays frozen for a second, before pushing Butch off her.
"Wait! Wait a second!"
"Why are you upset? I'm just kissing you plus you love my kisses." Butch pouts, and stares at Buttercup's confused face.
"I do?" She asks, "Yeah? You say it basically all the time." Butch chuckles, "But isn't Kissing for people who like or love each other? Or couples?" Buttercup asks, because Buttercup and Butch have always been best friend's so why did he kiss her?
"Your joking, right? Is this a prank?" Butch asks, But Buttercup's face is still confusion. "Buttercup, we're dating, or are we not?" Butch squishes Buttercup's cheeks.
"Da...Dating? When?" Buttercup mumbles, and stares down at the ground, Butch's hands slipping away from her cheeks. "I...I need to go home, I'm sorry." Buttercup gives a weak smile, and walks past Butch and ignores Butch's yells from behind her.
Buttercup gets home and goes straight to her room, she right away checks her phone and goes through old text messages from Butch and her. She reads every text message that would give her a hint or an answer to why Butch said 'aren't they dating?'
Everything looks normal until Buttercup sees a text messages with "I love you" and "Baby" and "I miss your kisses' and a lot more that makes Buttercup shut off her phone and blush bright red.
"I love Butch, I love Butch, I love him." Buttercup keeps repeating over and over trying to make herself remember, "B-But...Why? Why can't I remember? Our kisses...and hugs, and, and-"
'I'm sorry, Buttercup, but your recent memories will still be lost.'
Buttercup searches through her book cases and tries to find her green diary, maybe there was answers inside the old damaged book.
Yet, nothing.
There was something that could make Buttercup remember or know what's been going on. Buttercup let's her fingers push back her black bangs, "I...I could maybe...write everything down? If I forget something, I can just look back in my diary." Buttercup tells herself.
"Even if... If..." Buttercup hand shakes as she tries to write down on her diary, Buttercup's lips wobble and tears began to pool on the page with little writing.
Little by little...Buttercup's memories were slowly fading away.
"W-Why...Why?"
