[ the unit system ]
you may have noticed that trainees are organized in units. think of these units as similar to the "cells" of girls planet 999.
the original units are simply organized to attract fans to the show, as each unit was created with a certain storyline in mind.
however, unlike cells, these units will not play a role in eliminations, as unit-mates may unfairly represent a single trainee's popularity.
after each elimination, the trainees will be ranked and will able to sort themselves into new units. the top five trainees will have the honor of selecting the new units.
think of a trainee's unit like their group. they must work together to complete missions to earn points for their unit, though they may not necessarily compete in the same song for each mission.
for example in the position unit evaluation, each unit must nominate each of the members to perform a different position song (ex: rap, dance, vocal, and all rounder). in each of those songs, the top ranking trainee will earn points for their unit.
[ unit selection ]
units will always have five members* selected byย one of the top ranked trainees.
when trainees are ranked in voting, it will not be in numerical order (ex: 1, 2, 3, 4, etc) but rather in groups of five. for example, the top five trainees will all be ranked one.
each trainee ranked one will take turns selecting members for their unit. a trainee ranked one may offer another trainee ranked one a place in their unit. they may accept or decline. if they accept they forfeit their right to select their unit and the honor will go to the highest rank 2 trainee.
to ensure fairness in the units, the number of all five trainees must add up to a certain number. this number will be equivalent to each member being from a different unit. for example in the first mission, trainee numbers must add up to fifteen, so there will ideally be a trainee from unit 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
the unit selector does not have to choose a trainee from each unit, but they are responsible for ensuring their number adds to the correct value. failure to mathematically reach the correct value will result in a penalty for the unit.ย
[ grading system ]
trainees will not be graded by the usual a, b, c system. instead they will be sorted by number 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. these grades will be used to create the first units for the team evaluation.

[ offline voting ]
after each mission there will be a period of "offline" voting through comments to determine the winners of each evaluation.
[ online voting ]
will be completed through google forms. this will be the form of voting that will determine eliminations.
[ bonus points ]
bonus points can be earned for completing active checks, staying active, and winning evaluations.
