Silas, in general, has seen many years and many things that the average Joe would likely not experience within a life time. Things, that to a regular human, would likely send their mentality into a downward spiral and end with their presence in some physicatric ward or worse. Death. Yet these said, untold events are what have shaped and molded the Russian brute into the being he is today. Upon first meeting, Silas is uptight and stiff. Almost as if he were an animal introduced to many unfamiliar faces, tense and ready to strike. He might look upon you with mild distaste, let his gaze devour every inch of your being in a calculating manner. He may turn up short when speaking, as if interest was already lost and he is already willing to brush you off like the lint upon his suit. Other times, he might look right through you, past you and some place far away in heavy, brooding thought.

He broods more than he speaks, mulls more than he sleeps. Silas is a very deep thinker and his mind is quite possibly the loudest thing about him. Yet it is often a dim and foggy realm to step into, like the cold setting of purgatory only minus the horrid creatures within. There he stores away literally everything to float dormantly, experiences and emotions, mainly those that he does not wish to relive. While his mental status is sane enough, Silas has a few internal problems that most do not or will not usually know about as he does an exceptionally well job of shielding himself behind a facade. He has known what it is like to face trauma; a death of a loved one, a shattered heart, and a soul nearly lost to the void of his despair.

Silas is a complicated case, though he is not impossible. He does not click with everyone and everyone does not click with him. He is not one for throwing himself into multiple connections and friendships with too many people, seeing as while his own trust issues are quite high towards others, he harbors slight distrust for himself in many cases. Silas is also not always that friendly. He can be an extremely cold and spiteful asshole when the mood hits him right, which in turn can drive the wrong people off. It takes certain kinds of individuals that are willing to put up with him and are dismissive of his behavior. After all, those people relieve him in some manners and make him a tad more...comfortable, with himself.

Believe it or not, he has the capability to tease and strike a sarcastic, cheeky comment here and there, and much prefers if others do so as well so he doesn't feel awkward about himself. Once you've snagged his trust and a place within his frigid heart, you will be gifted with himying loyalty and support if he deems you worth his time and patience.

However, he's a deadly force to be reckoned with who will place you on the receiving end of his wrath before a word is uttered.

Strengths |

- His ability to grasp the reins of his emotions in most situations and more or less 'shut them off', allowing for logic to step in instead. This benefits him greatly when faced with serious decision making.

- Silas is rather very physically blessed and definitely knows how to put his brute strength to use. Not always in a good way. He is more so skilled in certain arts of self-defense such as martial arts, though, he obviously doesn't make this known as he tends to let it be a little surprise for the unfortunate.

- Though he doesn't necessarily pride himself in this, his leadership skills are keen and rathed forwardly prominent in the manner of which he carries himself.

Weaknesses |

- Trust issues. Yes, even he has them and it challenges his position and makes it a bit easier all at the same time. Perhaps he is just a tad cynical, though it is mainly due to his purposely reserved and closed off nature.

- The man has a white hot temper about him. It does not particularly border on anger issues, it is more like when that gasket blows, it really blows. It can cause him to seriously harm people without him really intending to, unless of course they truly deserve it. He does work on it, though.

- He isn't a very nice boy most of the time. Apologies, in advance.

Likes |

Silas enjoys firstly, his coffee. It doesn't matter what kind he makes that day, he has to have it every morning when he wakes up and every night by his hearth before bed. He is a drinker and has a prized stash of alcohol; don't mistake him for an alcoholic. He enjoys food, a good piece to read every now and again, classic literature, poetry, the sound of a melancholic cello, keeping fit, animals, late nights, order and respect, and spa baths.

Dislikes |

Naturally, he despises when people decide to touch his Daemon. It disgusts him and makes him just a tad wary. He is not a morning person and does not appreciate loud or obnoxious disturbances while he is trying to wake himself up and before his first cup of coffee. He is not appreciative of lack of respect, toward him or between others. Trying to dictate to him will not sit well with him and you will find yourself in some trouble. Children, in all actuality, annoy him greatly.

Fears |

Of course, he has a mild fear of everything he has ever worked for crumbling to the ground. He has a small fear of the unknown as well and this is but a small contributor to why he acts the way he does toward people and while he is ruling.

Silas' Daemon is a large, 2, 209lbs (1,002kg) male polar bear named Abraxas.
