Sketchbook Tour #1 (2023, Pt. 2)

Before we start, here are some warnings: Cringe Warning! Trigger Warning!
    Ok, enjoy!

Another random colors oc challenge. This one ended up looking nice and saturated since I just used a darker color for the outlines, rather than just black.

This was a monster oc challenge I found on YouTube (forgot who made it), but I HATE how this turned out.

I used a cat oc challenge (by vixelzzz) for this one. Wanted to make a full background since I drew the cat kinda small. The light looks very weird. Looks like someone spilled some glue and the cat stepped in it and began to walk around.

Trigger Warning! This was one of my first ocs I actually kept (though don't really use). She has this whole traumatic backstory that I made up, which might trigger some people, so read it at your own risk (if you can even see the words idk it might be too small). Also, her stuffed animal looks WAYYYY too much like Springtrap from FNAF.

Idk what I wanted to do with this drawing, but the outline took me ages to do. I also recorded me drawing it. The hair looks weird because I used to many highlights on it. I also took inspiration from Minty's Sketchbook for the background (which you'll see on a lot of other drawings).

I was experimenting with some watercolors, but I hate this drawing so much. I mean, the random plant is okay, but everything else is a big NO.

I love this one! The contrast is perfect, though the toy mouse's colors are a little clashy with everything else. But other than that, I love this drawing (again, took inspiration from Minty's Sketchbook for the background)!

I tried to make a cottagecore spread. I don't really have much else to say about this drawing other than that it's okay (used a reference for the bunny and deer fawn).

I used three random images from Pinterest for this one. Took inspiration from Minty's Sketchbook. Idk why, but the monster in the background reminds me SO much of Chica from FNAF.

My friend Ash told me this technique of how to draw hands, but I was lazy so it turned out horrible.

First drawing of my oc Juni! Turned out pretty good!

Got some oil pastels at Hobby Lobby, so decided to try them out. I also had just had a vanilla steamer, so that's why I drew a coffee cup. I used a reference for this drawing as well.

I was just playing around with the oil pastels, seeing how well they blended together. I used a reference for all the fruits, but I don't really like how it turned out.

This isn't even a drawing. This is a leaf I found outside and taped to my sketchbook. Someone on YT inspired me to do this but I forgot who.

This was a reference sheet for Juni and Henry. I think it turned out good!

I actually hate this one. It was the cover for The Man in Black and White (which I've discontinued), but I just hate it so much. I ended up coloring it in digitally.

Found out I had some old Prismacolor colored pencils, so decided to use them. I really like this drawing.

Me and my mom had just finished a read aloud for school, and I had to make a drawing for it. I used the colored pencils for this one too. I didn't have all the right colors though, so I had to use different colors. Like instead of gray, I used light blue. (The colored pencils were ocean/sea themed btw.)

This was my first time using gouache. I had painted it on a separate piece of paper, and had cut it out to put it in my sketchbook. I do not like how it looks though. It was supposed to be pine trees, and in the background was a sunset, but it looks more like mountains or even like dung kinda. But it was my first time trying gouache, so hopefully I'll improve xD

Anyways, tysm for checking out my sketchbook tour! I'll be starting my next one soon, and hopefully I'll make an even bigger improvement. I hope you all have a great day/night! Byeee!
