Hello! I am back to writing this as I took a small break from this. Also, it's New Years Eve, so I want to wish a happy early New Year!

After departing from the school, Y/N had sat in his apartment, tending to his sister. Although his sister was annoyed by this fact, she was glad for his company.

As Y/N was doing the dishes, as he just finished making food for his sister, he received a message from Hachiman. Opening it, he sees that Yukino had accepted their request. The last part stated to come to the meeting tomorrow. Turning his phone off, he sighed.

Y/N: I'm tired...

Next Day

It was the next day and Y/N arrived at the Service Club room, Hachiman already seated in his own and Yukino as well. Avoiding eye contact with the black haired girl, he calmly sits down in his seat, scrolling on his phone.

It was only silence between the three, Hachiman awkwardly glancing at the two. Yukino would only make small glances and clench her chest, after what happened yesterday, she assumed that Y/N and her weren't on talking terms. Deciding to make conversation, she awkwardly cleared her throat.

Hachiman looked at her while Y/N only perked his eyes up, before resuming his attention back to his phone.

Yukino: (clears throat awkwardly) S-So...so...about today. Could you tell me when and where the meeting is?

Hachiman: O-Oh, yeah...

Y/N: (not looking up from phone) Just follow us. We know where it is, anyway.

Hachiman: Besides, it can wait until Yuigahama gets here?

Yukino: Good point...there's no reason to say it twice.

Seconds later, Yui comes in, her cheerful attitude plastered on her face.

Yui: Yahello!

Y/N: (monotone) Osu.

Hachiman: Hey.

Yukino: Hello.

Going to her seat, Yui sits in it, scooting it over to Yukino. She smiles brightly at the girl with a cold personality, the same girl smiling awkwardly of the closeness.

Yukino: (shyly) You're close...

Picking up her seat slightly, she begins to move it away slowly from Yuigahama, unaware that she was scooting closer towards Y/N. Y/N had tune out the noises, only focusing on his phone as he was playing King's Knight. However, Yui only sighs happily, picking up her chair to move closer towards Yukinoshita.

Yukino backs up her seat again, only this time, much closer towards Y/N.

Yukino: Um, Yuigahama-san, could you move away a bit?

Yui: (looks down slightly) Eh? Yeah, you're right.

The orange haired proceeds to move it back a little.

Yukino: Uh...I didn't mean...

This time, it was Hachiman's turn to awkwardly cough. Y/N puts his phone back into his pocket and rests his head on his hand.

Y/N: (thoughts) This is going to be a long day.

Timeskip-Dusk

It was now dusk and the two boys lead the two girls to the community center. They spot Iroha across the street buying snacks for the meeting.

Yui: Yahello! We're ready to go, Iroha-chan!

Yukino: It sounds as though the situation is not good. 

Iroha: Yeah, that's right...

The student council president hands the bag of groceries to Y/N, who takes it without realizing the shocked stares from Yui and Yukino. 

The two girls watch as he proceeds into the center, wide-eyed.

Hachiman: What?

Yukino: (slightly irritated) Oh, nothing.

Hachiman: (thoughts) ...Is she jealous from just that?

Yui: (nods head) Oh, yeah, nothing!

The four head inside, going into Seminar Hall 1. Upon entering, they see Y/N had already sat down in his seat, next to the rest of Sobu's student council.

Tamanawa then spots the four at the door.

Tamanawa: Hi! Oh, there's a pair of new faces, I haven't seen before. Welcome. I'm Tamanawa from Kaihin General High School...

Hachiman only looks at the other high school president, looking towards Y/N, who only shrugs. Their situation was getting worse.

The End of the Meeting

In the break area, Yukino and Yui were seated at a bench while Hachiman and Iroha were standing in front of them. Y/N was sitting on the table nearby.

Yukino: It's worse than I expected. Just watching them irritates me.

Yui: Yeah...so, what should we do?

Hachiman: I have no idea.

Y/N: We can't seem to agree on the theme for this.

Yui: Well, for starters, let's think of something we can do. Okay?

They nod and continue about the day, heading home as the meeting was over. At the moment, it was only frustrating for them as they had no idea of what to do.

Y/N could only see that the Kaihin General High School, in his words, were a bunch of idiots and were lesser versions of Hachiman. As Y/N was sitting on the couch in his apartment, watching his TV, his sister calls for him.

Setsuna: (from her room) Y/N?~

Y/N: Hai?

Setsuna: (from her room) Can you get me a water bottle? You're going to scold me if I leave this room.

Y/N: Hai, hai, I'll get it. (sigh) Everything's so difficult now.

Next Day

Hiratsuka: Looks like you've completed your assignment.

The five of them, Iroha, Hachiman, Y/N, Yukino, and Yui, only look at their teacher with confused looks.

Y/N: If I remember correctly...

Hachiman: We didn't have a modern Japanese assignment...

Hiratsuka: (smiles) Well, let's hear what you wanted to ask me.

Timeskip of Hachiman explaining the problem

Hiratsuka: So you're starting with the budget, huh? You guys don't seem to know what Christmas is all about.

Hachiman: Pardon?

Y/N: I don't think that's the--

Hiratsuka: I'll show you what it's about. (pulls out tickets) Ta-da! Here it is!

Glancing at the tickets, they see it was for Pan-san's Destiny Land. She had five total.

Y/N: (thoughts) Coincidence?

Yui: Where'd you get those? And five of them...

Hiratsuka: I won them at a wedding after-party. Twice, no less...they threw in an extra as a bonus. "You can go by yourself twice!" They told me that twice...

Hachiman: (thoughts) Wait, what is she saying? Is she went there alone four times, she'd end up enjoying it so much, she'd pay to go a fifth time! Worst case, I could even get stuck going with her the sixth time! Seriously, someone please marry her already!

Y/N: (smiles smugly) Well, you could've asked my brother to go with. You could have made it a da--

He was cut off as Y/N was punched in the gut, just like Hachiman was. They all stared at her wide-eyed as Y/N fell to the floor, clutching his stomach.

Hiratsuka: (grits teeth) I have no idea what you're talking about, brat.

Y/N: (thoughts) Nii-san...just marry her.

Somewhere Else...

Itsuki: Achoo!

Worker: Bless you, Itsuki-san.

Itsuki: Thank you. (thoughts) Oi, oi, who the hell is talking behind my back? 

Back with the others

Hiratsuka: (clears throat) I'll give you these, so go do some research. It'll also give you a break from--

Iroha: (grabs tickets) Wow, we can!? Thank you!

Hachiman: Why do we have to go now, when it's so damn crowded?

Yukino: He's right. I also don't really...

Yui: Aww, why not? Let's go! (claps hands together) Pan-san! We can see Pan-san's Bamboo Fight!

Yukino: (looks away) W-We can go anytime. I don't see the need to go during a busy reason...

Yui: But it'll all be decorated for Christmas now, won't it?

Yukino: No. The Bamboo Fight is part of the park's regular annual operations.

Y/N: Heh heh. There she goes. Her fetish for--eh!?!?

Yukino: (pinches Y/N's cheek) I never asked you to speak. 

Y/N: Okay, okay! Let go of my cheek, woman!

Yukino: Hmph. Behave.

Y/N: Huh? (mutters) This is why the call you an ice queen.

Yukino: (glares) Did you say something.

Y/N: ...No.

Yukino: That's what I thought. (clears throat) Emphasis is placed on the world depicted by the attraction, not on the season.

Hachiman: ...You know a lot about it.

Y/N: Obviously. She--

Yukino: (clears throat)

Y/N: ...Shutting up now.

Yukino: (looks to Hachiman) That much qualifies as common knowledge.

Yui: (tugs on Yukino's sleeve) C'mon, let's go!

Yukino: I refuse.

Yui: I really want to go with you, Yukinon. You know, the way things have been with us lately...and we have this chance...

Hachiman: ...Merchandise.

They all look to Hachiman, who was pondering.

Hachiman: They'll probably have Pan-san merchandise in Christmas versions. I kind of want to get something like that as a Christmas present for Komachi.

Y/N: (stands up) I guess so. This could also work as a present for Kei-chan. Now that I think about it, she doesn't have any Christmas version of Pan-san.

Yui: (gasp) That sounds great! Let's all pick something for her!

Yukino: (small smile) If that's the case, I guess we'll have to go.

Yui: Yeah!

Iroha: So wait, is it going to be the four of us?

Yukino: Well, Y/N and I have a yearly passport...

Y/N: You can thank "father dearest" for that. 

Yukino: There'll be two tickets leftover.

Iroha: Oh, then we should invite two more!

Hachiman: Who are you planning to invite.

Y/N: (sigh) I have a pretty good idea.

Iroha: (cutesy voice) That's a secret!~

Timeskip-Maihama Station South Entrance

Hachiman stared at the people in front of him, in disbelief.

Hachiman: Oi...

Yukino was unsure, Yui was awkwardly smiling, and Iroha had her signature closed eyed smile. Next to the foxy girl was Hayato, who was sweat dropping with an awkward smile.

???: Huh? Hikio's here?

To Hayato's left was Yumiko, Hina, and Tobe.

Tobe: Hikio! That's hilarious! 'Cause he's Hikitani-kun!

Hachiman: (thoughts) Those are both wrong, actually. (normal) Why are they here, too?

Yui: Er...well...it's not right to just take Iroha-chan's side all the time! I've had it rough, being stuck in the middle!

Hachiman: Right...

Yukino sighs before she starts to look around.

Yukino: Where's Y/N?

Y/N: Right here.

They all look to him, seeing as he has bags under his eyes.

Hachiman: What's wrong with you?

Y/N: Well...

Setsuna: Y/N! Why did you leave me in the car! You could have at least waited for me!

Y/N: I did say I was going ahead of you, didn't I? (sigh) Whatever, let's just get on the train.

Yukino: (looks to Setsuna) Setsuna-nee, why are you here?

Setsuna: Someone has to chaperone you all.

Y/N: Nah, she was outside my room all night, begging.

Setsuna: Plus, it's good to get Kei-chan a present from Destiny Land. Onto the train everyone!~

They all sigh at Setsuna's cheerfulness, getting onto the train so they could head to Pan-san's Destiny Land.

Upon arrival, they see Christmas decorations had been decorated all around the amusement park. Y/N had wide-eyes as he walked with the group, Setsuna's arm wrapped around Y/N as she was happily pointing all around. Everyone was happy, aside Hachiman.

The other black haired boy stood at the back of the group, uninterested. The only thing on his mind was to get a Christmas present for Komachi.

Yui then took a group picture with everyone, minus Y/N, Hachiman, and Yukino. The next picture showed a selfie of her and Yumiko. Yui was happy while Yumiko kept a stern look on her face, as if she was looking at someone. Hayato was sweat dropping as both Iroha and Yumiko were latched onto his arms.

Y/N had pictures with Setsuna putting him in a headlock, Y/N having a small smile despite his position. The next one showed Setsuna jumping onto Y/N's back, laughing. Y/N on the other hand had a surprised look, as well as a look of irritation. Hachiman was waiting by the Christmas tree, who was then called over by Yui.

Yui: Hikky! Thanks for waiting!

Yukino was exhausted as she held her head.

Hachiman: (thoughts) Has her soul been sucked out of her body?

Yui then pulls the two of them by their scarfs, smiling as she readies for a picture. The picture was snapped as Hina hands the camera back over to Yui.

Meanwhile, Y/N and Setsuna stayed in the same vicinity, looking at the various stores. They soon reunite with everyone else, going to an attraction called, Space Universe Mountain. Inside, Yukino sighs.

Yukino: There's nothing particularly Christmasy about this ride. I don't see how it'll help us.

Setsuna: Lighten up, Yukino-chan!~ We have to check out every single attraction here! And also...

The older L/N motions for Yukino to come closer, Yukinoshita responding as she got close.

Setsuna: (whisper) You can also seduce Y/N over here.~ I'm rooting for you.~

Yukino: (blushes) D-Don't be a-absurd!

Setsuna: Oh, don't worry. You can't hide anything from onee-chan!~

Y/N: (raised eyebrows) What are you two talking about?

Setsuna: Nothing!~

Further up the line, Tobe was sweating as he was unsure to ask Ebina or ask Hayato for help.

Tobe: What do I do? What am I gonna do?

Making his decision, he jumps from behind, wrapping his arms around Hayato with a desperate look on his face.

Tobe: Hayato-kun! Ride with me!

Yumiko: Tobe...you know...

Iroha: Tobe-senpai. You're interrupting.

Despite Iroha having a close-eyed smile, he could tell she was irritated. But he could feel the irritation coming off of Yumiko. He then backs off.

Tobe: No, it's...I don't handle these things well, you know?

Yumiko/Iroha: What?

Tobe freaks out, receding.

Hina: Looks like Tobecchi's having a tough time. 

Hachiman: He sure is. Why don't you help him out?

Hina: (lewd smile) Hehehe. You should help him, Hikitani-kun! How does "Tobe x Hachi" sound!?

Hachiman: Please stop. Besides, go ask L/N.

Hina: Oh, he's preoccupied. Look.

They turn around to see Y/N was in a headlock again, struggling as Setsuna looked happy, laughing. Yui and Yukino were trying to calm her down.

It wasn't until they heard the unexpected.

Hayato: Sure.

Hina turns back around, happy as her yaoi wish was coming true. Even if it was just slightly.

Hayato: Let's ride it together, Tobe.

Tobe: Hayato-kun!

Hina: Listen, I'm sorry about what happened before. Is that the reason things have been awkward with you guys?

He turns back around, seeing Y/N rubs his neck as Setsuna was pouting, Yui and Yukino talking to each other.

Hachiman: That had nothing to do with it. Everything okay with you?

Hina: Yeah. Thanks to you.

After the attraction, Y/N was leaning up against one of the concrete pillars, Setsuna standing next to him as she was on her phone. Everyone else was waiting for Yui, Iroha, Yukino, and Hachiman to come back.

Later, they head to the attraction for the Pan-san Bamboo Fight. Setsuna had this planned, sitting up front with Yui and Hachiman. This only left Yukino and Y/N to sit behind them. As they sat in the seat, the two would awkwardly shift in their seat. When they made eye contact, they would look away, a small blush present on their faces. Not only that, their legs would rub together, making the two of them tense up upon contact.

As they went further into the tunnel, pop ups of Pan-san would appear, fighting. They looked on amazed, but were quickly silenced by Yukino, who's full attention was on it. A small smile crept to Y/N's face.

Y/N: (thoughts) That side of her hasn't changed. That's good, at least.

After the ride, they went to the gift shop named, Pan Corner.

Inside, was concentrating on which Pan-san to pick. Y/N and Setsuna were next to her, arguing over which one to grab for Keika.

Yumiko: Pan-san's eyes aren't cute at all, are they? I'd rather look at Merry-chan the Precocious Cat.

This caused the L/N siblings to stop their argument and causes Yukino to perk up. Both Setsuna and Yukino were about to walk over to her, Setsuna being held back by Y/N.

Iroha: Really? I think this is really cute! Don't you think, Hayama-senpai?

The blonde boy simply smiles as Iroha presents a Pan-san plush to him. This causes Setsuna and Yukino to sigh in relief. Y/N sighs in relief as well, but mostly because when Setsuna and another girl brawl out, it usually doesn't end well.

Yukino smiles and nods several times in approval.

As they continued to look around, Y/N and Setsuna still arguing over which one to get, the older L/N sibling gets a devilish idea. Grabbing two fake cat ears, putting one on her head and the other on Y/N, she grabs him for a selfie, Setsuna having a big smile while Y/N was shocked. She then gets another idea, taking her fake cat ears off and putting them on Yukino.

She grabs the two and pushes them together, the two now side by side as Setsuna takes her phone and snaps a picture of the two. The two had big blushes as Setsuna cheers victoriously. The two then look at each other, eyes remaining glued on each other. It wasn't until Y/N was shook to his senses as Setsuna tossed a Pan-san plush at him.

Setsuna: How about this one?

Y/N: Oh, Kei-chan would certainly enjoy this one.

Setsuna: Yosha! Alright, let's go to the front now. Yukino-chan, if you're still buying something, we'll wait outside.

Y/N: Coming.

The two then walk to the front counter, going to pay for the plush. Yukino continued to look at Y/N, the blush still present on her face. Her mouth then morphed to a smile, thinking of how Y/N looked in the fake cat ears.

Yui: Yukinon, you're nose is bleeding again!

Yukino: ...Huh?

Timeskip

Having spent the whole day there, it was now turning to dusk. The group was now heading to the Pan-san parade.

Setsuna had joined up front, dragging Hachiman with her, much to his annoyance. Y/N noticed that Yukino was holding her head, looking dizzy as well.

Y/N: Are you okay?

Yukino: Yes.

Y/N: (thoughts) Guess she still doesn't deal well with the crowds still.

Yui: Oh no!

The two look forward to see the others had ran ahead, the line being closed as they were the last guests. Y/N could've sworn he saw a devilish smirk on his sister's face.

Y/N: (thoughts) She didn't plan this...did she? (normal) Go on ahead! We'll find another way! (turns to Yukino) Let's go.

Yukino: O-Oh, right.

With Hachiman and the others

They watch as Yukino and Y/N go the other way. Hachiman notices that Setsuna was humming a tune to herself, smiling happily.

Hachiman: You planned this, didn't you?

Setsuna: Huh?~ I have no idea what you mean.~ (giggles)

Hachiman: (thoughts) ...That family...they're scary.

Back with Y/N and Yukino

After wandering around for awhile, the two ended up going to another attraction. The day was starting to set as night was drawing near.

Y/N had kept trying to contact his sister, but she wasn't answering.

Y/N: Tch. She's isn't answering. Probably intentional. Well, since we're already here, it'd be faster if we ride it anyway. They might be waiting at the exit.

Yukino: Th-That's true.

He notices that she was breathing very hard. His suspicions were right. She hadn't gotten over her issue with large crowds.

Sighing to himself, he extends his arm out, Yukino looking confused at him.

Y/N: You still can't deal with crowds, right? Just hold on to me.

Yukinoshita shyly nods, interlocking her arm with Y/N's as the two slowly made it up the line. It was then their turn, Y/N letting Yukino in first.

On the ride, it was quiet. No words were spoken between the two. He looks down to her hands, seeing that she was tense as she held tight on the handle bars.

Y/N: It's not going to drop yet. You don't have to hold the bars.

Yukino: Yes...you're right.

Hesitantly, she lets it go, resting her arms at her sides. Y/N then resumes looking forward.

Y/N: Do you not handle these rides well, too?

Yukino: You should remember. Nee-san...

Y/N: Ah...right.

He wasn't sure why he forgot that. Better yet, he wasn't sure why he didn't remember when they got in line for the ride in the first place. Haruno would mess with her in places like this. Setsuna would do that to Y/N and Itsuki as well, but it would always end with a laugh.

Y/N: Yeah, she seemed to be enjoying herself when that happened.

Yukino: She's always like that.

As they soon enter out of the "ice cavern," the two got a clear view of the amusement park. Y/N had always admired the night sky, along with the Christmas lights that would come off the decorations.

Yukino: Hey, Y/N...

He looked over, Yukino tugging on his jacket sleeve. Meeting her face, he sees a warm smile on her face.

Yukino: Will you save me like you did back then?

The ride's speed begins to pick up as they went down the slope. Y/N didn't respond. He only stared at her.

Timeskip

Y/N was then walking up to Yukino with two drinks.

Y/N: Here.

Yukino: Thank you. How much was it?

Y/N: Don't worry about that. I already paid. You don't owe me anything.

Yukino: But it doesn't work like that.

Y/N: I already said it's fine.

Yukino: ...Something like this has happened before, hasn't it?

Y/N: Who knows? It's been so long that I've forgotten most of my childhood.

Yukino: Hey, what's that?

Y/N: Huh?

Looking across where Yukino was pointing, it was a statue of a Pan-san, something was engraved on the plaque below it.

Y/N: Oh, right. How could I forget this.

Yukino: What is it?

Y/N: It was a long time ago, but Kaa-san took me and my siblings here one Christmas. She did what she loved. Donating money to children in need while she sang. She sang right here.

Yukino: I see.

The two continued to stare at the small memorial. Their hands ended up being held together, without the two realizing it.

Y/N and Yukino: (thoughts) It's warm.

Yukino: ...You know...I always envied the relationship you and your siblings have.

Y/N: It was nothing special.

Yukino: I thought if I had that, I could be saved.

Y/N: (thoughts) Saved? (normal) Had what?

Yukino: (tilts head) What, indeed?

Soon after, the two had reunited back up with the group, Yui apologizing in front of them.

Yui: Sorry for going ahead without you!

Y/N: No, it's fine.

Yukino: It's not a problem.

Y/N: Besides, I have a sneaky suspicion that it was planned. (looks to Setsuna)

Setsuna: I have no idea of what you mean.~

Y/N: (sighs and looks back to Yui) Did you guys at least get some pictures of the parade?

Hachiman: Yeah. We got some of Pan-san, too.

They look to Hachiman, who was walking up to them with a camera in hand. Yui then takes her own camera out.

Yukino: (takes Yui's camera) May I check over the data?

Y/N: If you'd said something, we could have gone there.

Yumiko: Huh? Where's Hayato?

They look to the girl, who was looking all over the place. Tobe then gains a look, dragging Yumiko with him.

Tobe: Hey, Yumiko, over here!

Yumiko: Wha--Tobe, what are you doing?

Y/N: What the hell was up with that?

Setsuna: More importantly...

Y/N and Yukino: Huh?

Setsuna: How long are you guys going to be holding hands? Oh? Did you guys get busy while I was gone?~

Y/N and Yukino then look down, seeing that they were holding hands. They weren't sure when they started doing that, but they quickly let go.

Yukino: (blushes) I-It's n-not what it looks like!

Y/N: Y-Yeah. We weren't doing anything.

Setsuna: Not yet, anyway.~

Y/N: (mutters) Tsk. That's not it, you old hag.

A visible tick mark then appears on Setsuna's head, grabbing her younger brother into a headlock. She proceeds to strangle him while also digging her knuckles into his head.

Setsuna: Who are you calling an old hag again, huh!?

Y/N: Get off me, you hag!

Setsuna: (tightens grip) You called me a hag again! I'll kill you!

Y/N: (strained) Yeah...you're doing...a real good...job at that.

Suddenly, the lights turned off, causing Setsuna and Y/N to stop their struggle. Taking his window, he frees himself. He could hear Yukino giggling to herself, probably because of his misfortune. Yukino then stops giggling and looks to the sky.

Yukino: It's starting.

A noise that sounded like a whistle was then heard. Glancing up to the sky, they see something explode. It was fireworks. It varied from different colors. Red, yellow, blue, green, and more.

The people begins to cheer, people jumping up as they gazed up at the sky. Y/N glances to Yukino, who's eyes were being eliminated with the colors of the fireworks. His mouth was agape. He then felt arms wrap around him from behind. His sister then rests her head on his shoulder.

Setsuna: Thank you for bringing me here.

Y/N: ...You're welcome.

Setsuna: This reminds me of the time when mom brought us here.

Y/N: Yeah...the fireworks were set off when she sang that song.

The older sibling only nods her head as they both stare into the sky. It wasn't until they looked to their left, thinking they heard their mother.

But there was no one there. Sighing himself, Y/N only looks back up to the sky, watching as the fireworks explode into a colorful display.
