"Yes!" She exclaimed happily
"Okay!" You answer , rushing to your closet to get tons of blankets and pillows
"I'll go into the guest bedroom and get some." Lynn yells rushing to the guest room to get some extras

Getting the pillows and blankets from your closet, you throw them all in a pile next to your bed and search around for anything you can use as support for your pillow and blanket fort. Your door slamming open, Lynn dropping a pile of blankets and few pillows next to yours.

"I didn't know that pillow and blankets could be so fucking heavy?!", Lynn sighs trying to breathe
"Well, if you're carrying one hundred of them in one go , then ya it's gonna be heavy dumbass.." you laugh

Rolling her eyes , she looks around for a chair to help support the blankets and she uses the one for your study desk.

"So how long do you think this will take?" You ask, looking at the pile of blankets and pillows scattered out on the floor
"Maybe a half hour or an hour.." Lynn responds unsure about her statement

Sighing, you look at her,
"How much are you gonna do?"
"I'm probably gonna be the one doing most of the work.." she responds chuckling
"That's so true." You respond looking back at the mess In front of them

Picking up some pillows and blankets off the floor and beginning the fort you notice her looking at your desk with a surprised look on her face.

"What's the matter?" You ask her while still trying to make at least a bit of the fort done
"Do you actually think of me like that..?" She responds in a low voice still shocked causing you to look at what she is surprised at .
"Oh no no no!" You yell grabbing the open notebook that was on the desk from earlier on when you were journal and ranting about stuff on your mind
"Do you..like me?" Lynn looks up at you, raising her head slowly to make eye contact
Scrambling to put the notebook up in a drawer
"Uh... I'm so sorry, I understand that you probably did not want to see or ever hear that from me and now our friendship is probably ruined but I just want to-" you blabber on them get hit in the head with a pillow making you get cut out of your scramble
"Quit blabbering on! It's fine!" Lynn laughs
"Are you sure?! You just basically were told how I feel about you!" You yell seeing her laugh
"Yes! Matter of fact I feel the same way!" She answer still laughing
"Why are you laughing!!" You yell embarrassed at the situation and throwing a blanket at her
"Hey! Don't throw a blanket at me!" She yelled throwing it back at you
Throwing the blankets back and forth at each other you too end up knocking down the fort you had already made.
"Lynn.. you're re-building that." You sigh
"Okay, okay.." she says sarcastically picking up the pillows and blankets that were knocked over and started making a fort

                                 1 hour later

"Are you finally done slow poke?" You giggle and Lynn looks at you with that 'really?'
"Yes, I'm done you rat." Lynn answers throwing the extra pillows at you
"You're doing the inside!" Lynn smiles handing you the rest of the pillows and blankets needed for the inside.
"Fine..." you answer getting into the fort to make it as comfortable as possible

                         35 minutes later

"All done! Get mine and your stuff and come into the fort!" You yell, peaking out of the entry into the massive fort
"Finee..~" she groans picking up your and her stuff while getting into the fort
"Thanks so much!" You say while giving her a nudge on the arm
"Your a pain in my ass.." Lynn states making you laugh
"I know, annoying you is so funny" , You respond setting up your stuff on one side of the fort
"So... what board game do you want play to waste time?" Lynn asks pulling out a stack of board games
"UNO!" You yell , grabbing the uno cards and taking them out of the tiny box
"I'm a master at this game so you're not gonna win!" Lynn exclaims watching you pass the cards out between the two of you

Looking at your certain pile of cards, you had the SUCKIEST card stack ever.
Sighing you wait for her put a card down, after a while of contemplating she places down a card the same color as the other.
Having a wave of relief run over you as you had a bunch of the same color cards and it just happened to be that color, you place down the one you just chose out of the cards you had.

As the game goes on you end up winning. Lynn only ends up beating you about 2-3 times in uno.

TIME SKIP! (Time : 2:37 AM)

"I'm tired.." You yawn and set down your very last card , winning the 7th uno game
"Me too, we can skip school today and stay home to hang out?" Lynn asks waiting for your opinion on her idea
"Sure, my sister wouldn't mind." You answer putting away the board games into a neat pile next to the entrance of the fort.
"I'll stay here for tomorrow then I have to go back over." Lynn exclaims , setting up her bed for tonight
"Alright, goodnight! See ya in the morning Lynn!" You smile turning off the lamp , making it darker in the fort

^•~ In your dream ~•^

Sitting in your room with your sister , trying to block out the argument with headphones but you can still hear the faint shouts back and fourth at the two.
"It'll be okay." Your sister rubs your head, trying to distract you from the noises downstairs

"Why the fuck would you do that?! You know that could ruin my company!!" Your dad yells from downstairs

"I never knew it would cause this much of a damn trouble!? So how could I know !!" Your mother yells back

Hearing glass shatter and a scream of pain, you take off your headphones while the front door slams shut and you can hear stuff hitting the floor and stuff shattering on the floor downstairs.
"We can't help them. It's safer to just stay in here. okay little sis?" Your sister assured
"Does mom and dad hate each other?" You mumble , loud enough for your sister to hear
"Yes, they just don't feel good right now." Your sister adds , trying to make it sound as peaceful as possible
Hearing stomps up the stairs and steps leading to your door you hear a soft knock on it
"Open the damn door." Your dad exclaims in the nicest way possible, but you know he doesn't mean it in a nice way
"Go open your window. I have a idea" your sister adds rushing you
Rushing over to your window, wondering what she is planning on doing. You notice her pushing your dresser in front of the door just in case he managed to break the lock
"Hurry!" She exclaims, rushing over to the window and getting it open.
Your sister peaks her head out of the window looking at how far the drop down is and looks back up at you
"Go get your favorite stuffed animal and come back to me." Your sister exclaims watching you run to your closet , grabbing your favorite stuffed animal and she hugs you
"I promise, we will get out of this." Your sister assures once again while she pulls away
"Can you jump out of the window for me?" Your sister asks
Nodding in response she helps you get out of the window and into a safe spot down below.
Hearing the bangs and shouts from where you used to be , you yell for your sister to jump down seeing her hesitate for the jump
"Come on!!" You yell , hearing the yells echo throughout the whole neighborhood.
You can hear the door slam open, and the dresser blocking it moving out of the way to allow him into the room.
You look back at the window to see your sister jump down out of the window as your dad looks around at the room confused at how no one is in it.
"Come on, let's go to aunties! He would never know we're here!" Your sister whisper yells to you , putting you on her back and running to your aunts house.

Knocking at your aunts door you hear the door creak open, revealing a slightly young woman , a couple years younger than your father.
"Hello dears.. oh my! You two look like you're freezing! Come inside I'll make you some hot cocoa!" Auntie yells suprised by the sudden encounter, rushing you and your sister inside and swiftly shuts the door and locks it, then is in the kitchen making hot cocoa.
Taking a seat on her sofa having a good look around the small but big house, you notice how much less detailed is than the homes your used to being in. So you just assume it's a house that's been recently built. But there's a certain fireplace in front of the sofa that has picture frames on it. One is a picture of a small grill in a straw hat and a floral summer dress, and the young boy in overalls and a blue button up shirt underneath.
"Here you go sweeties!" Auntie exclaims setting down two hot cocoas in front of you and your sister
"Thank you.." Your sister thanks.
"Thank you auntie!" You exclaim , trying not to look sad
"Drink up, we don't want you getting a cold!" Auntie says , pushing the cup closer to us both
Picking up the hot cocoa and drinking it your aunt is staring at you two trying to wonder what happened
"So, what is the special occasion?" Your aunt asks putting down a mug on the table for her
Your sister just sighs and starts explaining the whole situation to her about your father and mother stuff that happened at home.
"Oh my, that is terrible! You two can stay here for now. I don't want you to getting hurt!" Auntie exclaims but as she finishes the sentence there is knocking on the door...

^•~ END OF DREAM ~•^

Waking up and slowly opening your eyes, you see Lynn shaking you awake
"Are you okay you were sweating and breathing heavy?" Lynn asks worriedly
"I'm fine, just a bad dream.." you answer
"Well, it's time to get up anyway, do you want me to make you breakfast?" Lynn asks
"If you want to" you answer, sitting up and rubbing your eyes
"Okay I'll be right back" Lynn exclaims running out of the door and downstairs
Slowly getting out of the tent and stretching your arms, you look around the room.
"What a great start to the day.." you whisper to yourself..

I know I haven't updated so I tried to make this chapter longer than my normal ones! I have no clue what I'm gonna write for the next chapter but I'm definitely gonna be doing a rlly awesome hangout day with Lynn 😭😭 I'm going to sleep now , see you in the next chapter!! ❤️
