Lost Girls and Lost Wands
Karina's POV
After the Gryffindors all leave, I tell Cedric that I'm going to go on a walk before the game starts. As I'm walking around the tents I realize that I feel extra trapped in and need space. Everyone from school stares and a lot ask questions about what happened to me and Draco, and if I'm okay. I know most have good intentions, but I'm just not in the mood to talk about anything regarding him right now. Especially not after crying over him for an hour. I feel like a total ninny for that.
Of course over the summer I had been upset but Cedric had made sure that I never cried too long over losing Draco. He said it would be very unhealthy. I would never be able to try to move on. Not that I want to but I need to get him out of my head for the time being.
Walking away from all the tents I see a small forest which, of course, I decide to go in and explore. As I walk through the forest, I come to a small pond. I sit down by the pond and look at my reflection.
Fred was right I do look good. My new makeover makes me look dare I say, hot. Why mope around when I look this good. Draco probably isn't moping. He's probably with Astoria. They're probably snogging. I bet they are snogging right now. I need to show him I'm happy. If he doesn't want to believe that I love him then his loss.
I look down at my reflection again, 'Show him he needs you more than you need him.'
Smiling at my thoughts I nod, 'Yes I will.'
Glancing down I see a rock and something jammed behind it. Getting closer to the rock I see that the object is a wand. I pick up the wand and realize that someone probably dropped it. I inspect the wand and suddenly realize who's wand I'm holding.

"Bring her in."
The girl walks in and instantly the boy is intrigued. At first he thought it would be his usual fan type of girl but seeing her mischievous face he knows she's not. That leads him to wanting to know her.

Karina's POV
"Wow someplace you've got here."
The boy nods but doesn't say anything as he looks at me with interest.
"May I?" I ask pointing to a bowl of grapes.
He shrugs and moves a little closer to me as I take a handful of grapes and back away to the wall.
"Vhat do you vant? My friend zaid zit was zomething important."
Wow his voice is alot deeper than I thought it would be.
"Oh right." I mumble with three grapes in my mouth making his thin smile lift up a slight bit.
"This." I hold his wand up; 10ΒΌ" Hornbeam, dragon heartstring.
"I was by this pond earlier and I spotted this wand between some rocks. It's yours."
He just stares as I stuff three more grapes into my mouth. Did I mention I love grapes?
He smiles a little, "You are very different."
"Thank you. I try to be."
"Vhat is your name?"
"My name is Karina. Karina Grey."
"Zit is a beautiful name for a beautiful face. Of course you know who I am.
Smiling wider than ever he nods his head and makes a step or two even closer to me. He takes my hand and kisses it, "Zit is a pleasure to meet you."
"Likewise." I reply with a smile as I move a little farther away leaning all the way against the wall.
"How zid you know zhat zit was my wand?"
"My friend... He's been talking about you all morning. He knows everything about you... He's a big fan. Really. It's kind of scary."
The boy laughs and nods his head as if saying he understands, "Zon't worry I get zit."
"Oh right I forgot. I'm talking to a celebrity. These people see you as their idol."
"Zhat is very true." He smirks putting his hands together behind his back as he takes more steps to the wall I'm leaning against.
"It's crazy how much fighting there is about Ireland and Bulgaria though. My friends are split; many love you so much that they want Bulgaria to win. Most love Ireland to death so they want Bulgaria to lose and they wish for something bad to happen to you. I heard as I took a walk. It's crazy to hear people voice their thoughts so easily. It must be hard sometimes knowing that people may not like you just because of who they support."
"Da I guess. But I zon't care vhat they think... Right now I only care vhat you think. Who do you support?"
"Wow that was smooth. Hmmm I guess I would have to say... Ireland."
I laugh as Viktor's face turns into a sour look, "Zat was cold... zat hurt."
"Aww I'm so sorry. Don't go crying like a little baby cuz I broke your little heart."
He chuckles then holds an arm out beside my head on the wall. Looking into his dark eyes I wonder why exactly I feel so happy. It's almost as if he brings out the normal sassy Slytherin me.
"You are funny. I like zat." He smiles with a twinkle in his eye.
"Woah there mister fly guy if you're headed down that road then I need to take a u-turn."
"Ah I see. Karina... I only hope to be friends honestly. You zeem fun and how do you say? Sassy."
As he stands right infront of my face I feel slight butterflies in my stomach. Honestly it's probably because I haven't been around guys I'm attracted to in a while. But these butterflies feel nothing like the fireworks I get with HIM.
I feel something hard between us. Looking down I notice his wand. I had forgotten that I was holding it up for him to take. The wand lays in my hand horizontally at our torsos making distance between the two of us.
Krum looks down at his wand in my hand and slowly takes it away, "Zit is quite refreshing."
"Alright I'll play along. For now wise guy... for now."
He chuckles again and moves away from me.
"So how did you lose your wand Viktor?"
"I vas sitting by the pond. Just thinking and relaxing before za big game. Zit must have fell out of my back pocket. Zhank you vor bringing zit back to me."
"Of course."
The curtain to his tent whips open to his coach, "Krum zit is time."
"Oh shoot it's that late?" I say while glancing at my watch.
"Zorry for keeping you. Vould you like company on your valk back?"
"No no it's okay. Plus you're coach may have a slight conniption if you don't go get ready now."
He smiles and looks at his impatient coach who stands glaring at me. Viktor takes my hand and kisses it one last time.
"Until ve meet again Karina Grey."

3rd Person's POV
Clutching their purchases, Mr. Weasley in the lead, they all hurried into the wood, following the lantern-lit trail. They could hear the sounds of thousands of people moving around them, shouts and laughter, snatches of singing. The atmosphere of feverish excitement was highly infectious; Harry couldn't stop grinning. They walked through the wood for twenty minutes, talking and joking loudly, until at last they emerged on the other side and found themselves in the shadow of a gigantic stadium. Though Harry could see only a fraction of the immense gold walls surrounding the field, he could tell that ten cathedrals would fit comfortably inside it.
"Seats a hundred thousand," said Mr. Weasley, spotting the awestruck look on Harry's face.
"Ministry task force of five hundred have been working on it all year. Muggle Repelling Charms on every inch of it. Every time Muggles have got anywhere near here all year, they've suddenly remembered urgent appointments and had to dash away again... bless them," he added fondly, leading the way toward the nearest entrance, which was already surrounded by a swarm of shouting witches and wizards.
"Prime seats!" said the Ministry witch at the entrance when she checked their tickets. "Top Box! Straight upstairs, Arthur, and as high as you can go."
The stairs into the stadium were carpeted in rich purple. They clambered upward with the rest of the crowd, which slowly filtered away through doors into the stands to their left and right. Mr. Weasley's party kept climbing, and at last they reached the top of the staircase and found themselves in a small box, set at the highest point of the stadium and situated exactly halfway between the golden goal posts.
About twenty purple-and-gilt chairs stood in two rows here, and Harry, filing into the front seats with the Weasleys, looked down upon a scene the likes of which he could never have imagined. A hundred thousand witches and wizards were taking their places in the seats, which rose in levels around the long oval field.
Everything was suffused with a mysterious golden light, which seemed to come from the stadium itself. The field looked smooth as velvet from their lofty position. At either end of the field stood three goal hoops, fifty feet high; right opposite them, almost at Harry's eye level, was a gigantic blackboard.
Gold writing kept dashing across it as though an invisible giant's hand were scrawling upon the blackboard and then wiping it off again; watching it, Harry saw that it was flashing advertisements across the field.

Harry tore his eyes away from the sign and looked over his shoulder to see who else was sharing the box with them. So far it was empty, except for Amos, Cedric and Karina, who had been missing for quite a while now.
"Potter have you seen Karina?" Cedric asks hurriedly with wide eyes.
"Not since we were in your tent. You think she's lost?"
"No... I hope not."
About two minutes later, a curly head of hair makes their way to our box. Cedric runs over to Karina and pulls her into a hug.
"Don't do that again. I was worried. Where were you?"
"Nowhere... I just met somebody."
And for some reason that Harry was unsure of, Karina Grey had looked slightly happier than he has seen her all day.
