After the accident, you stayed on earth for a while. You found accommodations in the desert where you met a kind coyote. His name was Wile E and you learned that he was something of a scientist and his life goal was to capture a bird called the road runner.

He came calling to your door one day. You assumed he had big news by the way he was repeatedly banging on the door.

"Wile E? I wasn't expecting you" you said as he showed up with a huge grin on his face.

"(y/n), I have big news! Follow me" he grabbed you by the hand and ran over to his place to show you something.

He took you down to the basement and told you to open your eyes. As you opened them, your gaze fell upon a huge contraption.

"Well?" He said excitedly.

"What is it?" You asked.

" isn't it obvious? It's going to send you back to the moon! " 

you were ecstatic! "Oh Wile E! Thank you!" You cried as you threw yourself on him and have him a hug. He flushed a bright red but returned the gesture.

"I can't wait to go home" you hurried onto the rocket to try and figure out the controls.

"Wait, but what about us?" He said with a look of sadness in his eye.

You two had developed a close relationship and had quickly become friends. it was upsetting for you to leave like this.

You paused for a moment and a tear rolled down your cheeks which you quickly wiped away.

 "Here" you handed him something.

 "What is it?" He asked.

 " It's a moon necklace. When something bad happens, stand by the light of the moon and use this, but only in emergencies. Think of it as a token of appreciation " you smiled warmly.

 "Thank you" he said before you two exchanged your goodbyes and you left for home.

As you spent your days guarding the moon, you never forgot about your friend down on earth who had shown you so much generosity.
